At the rebuilt Command Center, Billy Cranston and his husband Cestro of Aquitar were working on something. Holo-screens of the Zord bay appeared in front of them, with drones flying around some Zords and using lasers to weld pieces into place. "First fixing the Dino Fury Zords, now the Cosmic Fury Zords, you're on a roll, darling." Cestro said.

"Their time in the spotlight was so short, and these ancient Zords, pieces of history recently discovered, it'd be sad if their time was cut short. Besides, always good to have some Zord backup." Billy said. "Isn't easy since this tech is ancient and advanced. Luckily I have you helping me."

"You'd have figured it out on your own. But how could I resist a research project like this. Certainly when I get to work with you." Cestro said.

"Most people get a candlelit dinner for a date you know?" a female voice said as someone else came into the room. It was a young adult woman, around Mihn's age. She appeared mostly human but she had webbed hands, had scale patterns around her eyes and dotted across her cheeks, fin-like ears and yellow eyes. Her brown hair was long and reached her lower back. "Speaking of dinner, you nearly skipped again. I made you guys pasta." The girl said as she put two bowls of foods in front of them.

"Thanks, Xiphia…And I'm sorry. We got distracted again." Billy said as he took the pasta.

"With each other or the Zords?" Xiphia asked.

"Both." They simultaneously said.

Xiphia rolled her eyes. "Dads…" she muttered. "Oh well, since I'm here, can I help? I got to make sure you get done at a recent hour and get to sleep in your bed instead of the desk for once."

"We can turn it into a family bonding activity." Cestro said.

"You call this family bonding? You do this for a job." Xiphia said.

"If you enjoy your job, you don't work a day in your life." Billy said.

"That's fair. Now, what are you putting together?" Xiphia asked.

"The Cosmic Fury Zords. Though with the Cosmic Fury Rangers having taken their Dinozords back into action, the Cosmic Fury Zords could use new pilots. They were normally meant to be used of a matching Ranger power set, but we haven't found the matching Morphers or trinkets. They were generous enough to let the Cosmic Fury Rangers borrow their power, though." Billy explained further.

"Interesting…" Xiphia said as she looked over some notes. "Wait, they call the yellow one a Shark? It's clearly a swordfish."

"The Cosmic Fury Rangers were many things, but marine biologists is not one of them. Though Billy, why didn't you correct them on that?"

"Seemed like a minor detail compared to a million other things important at the time. Besides, we can rename it back to its proper species. So no biggie." Billy said.

"But my pet is peeved." Cestro said with a pout.

"Dads…Zords?" Xiphia said as she pointed at the mechs being rebuilt.

"The Board of Directors is calling this meeting to order!" the Board of Squid Ink Inc. had gathered. The one leading the board appeared as a person in a white business suit with a black undershirt and the head of Don Armage's Incomplete Ultimate form. "Starting with the Roll Call. Vice-President Armag."

"Catas." A second board member bearing a red business suit and having the head of Don Armage's Phoenix form.

"Devast." The third board member had the head of Don Quervo and a gray business suit.

"Annhail." The fourth and final board member had the head of Don Armage's base form and a black business suit.

"First point of business…With the death of the Naires, the company is taking a blow. We are losing stocks and profit, and the company is splitting in factions, some having started their own." Armag said.

"While I didn't have love of the Naires, annoying little bitches, they at least kept the company running efficiently." Catas growled. "Until she got this idea to use Zedd."

"Zedd played by his own rules and treated the company as his army instead of a partner, and wasted resources on his own whims." Devast said. "While he is a respectable villain with a great legacy, he does not fit well in our own corporate world."

"Agreed. He has been laid to rest once more. Let him rest. We need to move into a new direction. I suggest a rebrand and/or retool of the company to distance ourselves from Zedd and the Naire family." Annhail suggested.

"Excellent suggestion. Now, anyone a suggestion?" Armag asked.

"How about the Darkmatter Corporation?" Devast suggested.

"That's not bad. But what if we spell it with a J? To be different? Jarkmatter…" Catas said.

"No, that sounds like an anime villain group. Or rather toku…and misspelling to be cool is so nineties." Devast said.

"Well, I like Darkmatter Corp." Armag said. "All in favor."

"Aye!" most of them said, with Catas reluctantly agreeing.

"So it's settled." Armag said. "Next order of business, which assets do we keep and which ones are we going to replace?"

"I'd say keep the Squid Drills. They are efficient mecha, though I suggest thinking of a better name since there isn't much 'squid' about them." Devast said.

"How about Armagedrills? And in Battle mode, Armagedroids?" Catas asked.

"Excellent suggestion." Armag said as he wrote it down, the others nodding in agreement. Catas was glad at least one of his suggestion made it.

"The Copyguards should also get a rebrand. Sure, they are cloned mass produced commanders, and hence copies of each other, but there could be some confusion about how people may think they can copy stuff while they can't." Devast said.

"And the Zentinels…well, without Zedd, they no longer fit the theme…they looked cool though. But anyhow, I suggest we approve of the bio-engineered footsoldiers of the Indaver project." Annhail suggested.

"That'd be good. As for the Copyguards' rebranding…we need something…More. Something to show they are stronger than mere footsoldiers." Armag said.

"I say less is more. Strongmon. Strongmen…monsters. Rolls of the tongue." Annhail suggested.

"Simple, but effective. We'll go with that for now. Finally…I say we approve of the mass production of the Oxbots and the training of Scuttleworms as attack dogs."

"I get the Scuttleworms but why the Oxbots? One of the prototypes got destroyed fighting the Rangers on Zordnia and another one went rogue?" Catas asked.

"Yes, but they were just that, prototypes. They were able to put up a decent fight, we just have to perfect its design and prowess as well as patching up some loyalty programming." Armag said.

"Point taken. Now, how about employees?" Devast asked. He brought up a holo screen with several images of monsters under their employ. "These are the ones we still have employed or are interested of joining."

"Wait, didn't a couple of these guys die?" Catas asked as he pointed at a few. "Doodrip, Krymzo, Inkworth, Quaddo and Ohmwhyzo…the rest of these I forgot their names but I'm sure they were destroyed."

"Oh, no these are not them. I could understand the misunderstanding. Those are their siblings. Strong family resemblance. Doodrop's brother Tlaloc, Krymzo's brother Kurrmine…they also have a little brother but I heard they had a falling out. Then we have Inkworth's brother Inkwell whom is an assassin instead of a battle butler, Ohwhyzo's brother Detswhy…you get the idea." Devast said.

"Oh…what are the odds of so many identical twins working here?" Catas wondered.

"Well we are a universe-spanning company and the universe is big. Even if a small perfect of the employees are twins, statistically that's still pretty big." Annhail said. "Anyhow, I don't see Jadana's sister and…was Jozotic ever dead?"

"Oh, Jadana's sister has gone into sea with a competitor and Jozotic quit because he didn't like how we would weaponize Scuttleworms." Devast explained.

"Oh…Shame but we can do? Anyhow, how do these siblings hold up?" Annhail asked.

"Well, Tlaloc and Steelbane…" Devast explained as he put on images of Doodrip's brother, a monster resembling Tecchu and another of a new monster resembling Akyanba. "They are much more powerful then their siblings. Alongside this new hire, Sonata, whom already proved herself incredibly powerful, would make a powerful trio of high ranked generals." He switches towards projections of Inkward's brother and a sextet of octopus ladies all resembling Madakko. "Inkwell, alongside the famous Octo Sextet would make great assassins."

"The Octo Sextet? Aren't they nieces of Bajillia Naire? I thought we were going to distance ourselves?" Armag asked.

"I heard they have broken with their family. I don't blame them, as even their family couldn't stand the Naires. And they made a name for themselves, so much people don't know about that relationship." Annhail said.

"Oh…well, I can accept that, then." Armag said. "Anything else that should be notable?"

"I think Kurrmine and Detswhy should be also in a higher position due to positive reviews, not as high as Tlaloc, Steelbane and Sonata but still impressive. The rest of them are standard but effective enough." Devast said.

"So we got ourselves everything we need for the restructuring of the company. Gentlemen, we have will soon have the means to get ourselves back from the brink and become once more the most feared evil company in the universe." Armag said.

"Here, here!" the other Board members said as they raised their own glasses.

"Celebrate with getting hammered on lava juice, space opium and alien strippers?" Catas asked.

"YEAH!" they all shouted excitedly.

"I'm glad you all could make it. I guess you understand why you're all here?" Billy said as he, Cestro and several recruits had gathered around them.

"We're gonna be Rangers? Please tell me we are gonna be Rangers?" A Sirian girl said as she wagged her tail.

"That's right, Lupe. Though I had originally planned a bigger speech before building up to that reveal…" Billy said.

Lupe hung her head and her ears went flat. "Sorry."

"No, it's ok. It saves us some time. Now, in the aftermath of Squid Ink Inc, several new factions have popped up, the biggest one having rebranded as the Darkmatter corporation. And with the Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury Rangers dealing with another threat, and the rest of the Ranger teams dealing with a cleanup on Earth or across the galaxy, we are setting a few new ranger teams. Each of you were chosen because you bring something to the table." Cestro continued.

"Some of you have been candidates for being Rangers in the past, or had the training. Some of you trained at one of the Academies of Space Patrols Alpha to Delta…" Billy looked at Lupe, whom perked up again and her tail wagged slightly. A dragon-like humanoid also nodded.

"Or Grid Battleforce…" Billy turned to no one else but Blaze and Roxy, whom smiled but were slightly uncomfortable.

"Some of you were warriors already in a different capacity." They turned to an alien ninja chameleon girl. Not chameleon themed, it was like she was a human anthro chameleon.

"Some of you already had experience with Rangers before." They turn towards the newest model in the Alpha series.

"Some of you have dark heritage and wish to step away from it." They saw an alien of the same species as Scorpina, a humanoid bull robot and a golden scales-themed robot.

"Several of you are chips of the old block." Billy looked at his own daughter Xiphia and kid with a red jacket and wild, mane-like hair.

"In short, you are all worthy in your own way." Cestro finished. "Come and get your Morphers, and take your first step into a new world."

The boy with the red jacket came first. "Leonard Evans…you have your father's empathy, your mother's skill and brains, and both of their strength. The Courage of a lion runs into the family."

"Whoa…" Leonard said as he got his Morpher and a red round sphere with the symbol of the lion. "I feel like the luckiest guy in the world." He sat down, pulled out a picture. It was of a younger him, with Cole Evans and Alyssa Enrilé to his sides. The Lion and Tiger Wildzord were in the background with their cub…which looked like the Kojishi Voyager.

Next was the boy of Scorpina's species. "Soma of the Zazorians." He was given an morpher and an orange Sphere with a scorpion emblem. "Your family had a legacy, but it doesn't have to be your own. You carve your own path."

"Thank you." He said softly as he didn't meet their eyes.

Lupe was call in next and she was excitable as ever. She tripped over her feet, flat on her face, but she got up and went on like nothing happens. "Lupe, you were a good student at the Space Patrol Alpha Academy. You have a bright future ahead." Billy said.

"I'll be the bestest Ranger ever!" Lupe said as she saluted him and then skipped back to her seat.

Next up, were the Alpha unit, the Bull robot and the golden robot. "Alpha 10 and…you haven't gotten names yet?" Billy asked.

"No…my creators didn't bother and I don't know what to call myself either." The bull said.

"King Mondo never got the chance to activate me, let alone name me." The Golden Robot aid.

"I can't believe I'm getting a Morpher. I was kidding when I said I could be a Ranger someday." Alpha 10 said. "I was not made for combat."

"We were, but I don't like it. Or not the way they wanted me to fight." The robot bull said.

"Yet you were a great help in getting me to obtain these." Billy said as he held up the spheres with the emblems each Ranger were given. "Despite everything you were brave enough to go out there. And as for you two…despite the circumstances of your creation, you decided to do good."

"They are good, I am here to earn a keep." The golden robot said.

"You may be kinder then you realize." Billy argued. "Now, is there anything you champs like to be called?"

"Champs…like a champion. A champion of good…I kind of like the sound of that. Yeah, call me Champ." The robot bull said.

"Just call me Gold. It's obvious, easy to remember and pronounce. No special meaning required." The golden android said. The three received their morphers. Gold got his own sphere, which was golden with scales. "Seriously, the scales…Kind of obvious?"

"I don't know what your prob is. It'd be weird if I didn't get the Bull." Champ said as he held up the black sphere with the bull emblem.

"A Bear, why not?" Alpha 10 said as he held the cyan sphere with the bear emblem.

"Bartholomew 'Blaze' Strong and Roxanne 'Roxy' Ramirez. You were prime candidates for Rangers before, but that chance was stolen by Evox form you. You are getting a second chance." Billy said as he handed them their morphers, and two of the spheres.

"I was a candidate. But I wasn't a good person. Even before Evox warped me and created the cyber avatar." Blaze said as he held the silver sphere with the cobra emblem.

"And…Zoey did so much better. They did so much better without us. I wonder if we are needed." Roxy held up the pink Sphere with the Eagle Emblem.

"It's not because you didn't get the chance then doesn't mean you don't get a chance now. You were perhaps meant for different things, things only you two can accomplish. Besides, there are people whom were worse then you, Blaze and still turned their life around. The fact you want to be better already makes you a good man." Billy said.

"I…Thanks Billy. I will try my best to be a good man." Blaze said.

"So will I. A good woman in my case, though." Roxy said. She tried to lighten the mood, but it was clear her heart wasn't in it.

"Cam-Mi of the Galactic Chameleon Ninja School, your Sensei recommended you, you hold great skill and I'm sure you'll be a great contribution to this team." Billy handed the morpher with the green sphere to the chameleon alien girl.

"I will endeavor to meet up to your expectations, Master Billy!" Cam-Mi said as she put her right fist into her left palm and gave a polite bow and taking up her gear.

"Commander Drago…you had a great career in the Space Patrol division. But now your expertise is needed with this new team. While the Red will be field leader, they need a mentor, your experience and wisdom is required. Can I count on you for this?" Billy turned to the dragon humanoid.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of these young lads and lasses, like they'd me my own wee hatchlings." The commander said in a surprisingly Scottish accented voice. He took his own morpher. It looked a bit different then the others, like a dragon head. He attached it to his cane. He also got a purple sphere with a dragon emblem.

"And finally, Xiphia…me and your father are so proud of you." Billy said as he and Cestro looked on fondly at their daughter. "You have inherited our smarts, your skills as a fighter. We'd normally be the worried, but we know how strong and smart you are. What kind of parents wouldn't we be if we didn't believe in our daughter's skills." Billy handed her morpher and Sphere.

"I can't believe it…" Xiphia sounded wowed, as if she was excited to be a Ranger. But… "You gave me the freakin' swordfish? Just because of that silly shark/Swordfish confusion from last week?"

"Thought it'd be a fun in-joke." Cestro said with a smile.

"You are both silly." Xiphia chuckled.

"No, I'm dad!" Billy said with a smirk.

"And I'm other dad." Cestro said.

Xiphia facepalmed but she couldn't help but chuckle. "Darn double dad joke humor."

Now everyone got their morphers, they gathered around for the final rundown. "Now, you have been given your Nova Morphers, and they are powered by Nova Stones. The ones you have gotten are special ones that give you power, there are other Nova stones that give you skills or armor. However, the arsenal is incomplete. The Nova Stones and the Cosmic Fury Zords are part of the same powerset of ancient Ranger arsenal. But there are still other Nova Stones out there in the universe, as well as a few other Zords yet unfound." Billy showed images of ancient murals that portrayed phoenixes, battleships and a knight. "These have to be found by you before the Darkmatter Corporation does, we do not need a universe-spanning evil corporation getting their hands on this."

"The Cosmic Fury Zords are now yours, as they were always meant for the wielders of the Nova Stones. So their power will come out at their full potential with you. I guess we should call them the Nova Zords now." Cestro added.

"You are the Power Rangers Supernova. You are the universe's new defenders. You are strong, smart, and skilled. I know that you will succeed in your tasks. I would almost feel sorry for the Darkmatter Corp." Billy noted. "Your mission is clear…fulfill it to the best of your abilities. May the power protect you."

A group of Indavers, Strongman and a trio of monsters came forward. One resembled Gemmetsui from Kyuranger. Another resembled Ereidrone. The last one was Snoutia, whom had escaped from the forest planet to rejoin the rebranded corporation.

And now the eleven Rangers stood on top of a cliff, side by side. "It's Morphin' time!" Leonard said as they inserted the Nova Stones into their Nova Morphers.

"LION NOVA STONE!"

"SCORPION NOVA STONE!"

"WOLF NOVA STONE!"

"SCALES NOVA STONE!"

"BULL NOVA STONE!"

"COBRA NOVA STONE!"

"CHAMELEON NOVA STONE!"

"EAGLE NOVA STONE!"

"SWORDFISH NOVA STONE!"

"DRAGON NOVA STONE!"

"BEAR NOVA STONE!"

The Rangers posed in in a galaxy background in their respective colors. Several of the stars shone brighter and formed their respective star constellation. The stars shout out of it and onto the Rangers, each star forming a piece of armor. The last one formed being their helmet.

"Noble like the lion! Red Supernova Ranger!"

"Swift-striking like the Scorpion! Orange Supernova Ranger!"

"Fierce like the wolf! Blue Supernova Ranger!"

"Balanced like the Scales! Gold Supernova Ranger!"

"Strong like the bull! Black Supernova Ranger!"

"Focused like the Cobra! Silver Supernova Ranger!

"Stealthy like the Chameleon! Green Supernova Ranger!"

"Fast like the Eagle! Pink Supernova Ranger!"

"Sharp like the Swordfish! Yellow Supernova Ranger!"

"Brave like the Bear! Skyblue Supernova Ranger!"

"Fiery like the Dragon! Purple Dragon Ranger!"

"We are…Power Rangers Supernova!" the lot of them said as colorful explosions went on behind them.

"We're screwed aren't we?" Snoutia sighed.

NOTES

After Cosmic Fury, not only the heroes go through a new adventure, new heroes rise up to deal with new threats as well.

Instead of an alternate adaptation, I instead have the Kyurangers actually adapted in the aftermath of Cosmic Fury, based on the unused Power Rangers Supernova concept that was thoguht off before setting on Cosmic Fury.

The Darkmatter Corp is of course Jark Matter formed from Squid Ink Inc. The board of directors are the different forms of Don Armage. They are in bizz suits now, with only their head monstrous but when they fight they'll assume full body forms. I also named them after synonyms for Armageddon. Armag is obvious, Catas is a cataclysm. Devast is Devestation. Annhail is annihiliation.

Of course since some villain suits were used for monster of the day, I have the actual villains be more powerful siblings.

I mention the octo sextet. Instead fo Madakko regenerating, identical sisters. Would be a way to differ itself from Kyuranger and explain why each new of the sextet has a different personality.

Cole and Alyssa's son for wild force seems ideal for the red lion. I even have the Kojishi Voyager reimagined as the cub of teh Lion and Tigress wildzords too.

Blaze, Roxy and an Alpha model were planned in the original concept, got that.

Yellow was to be aquititian so made Billy and Cestro's daughter the yellow Ranger.

While it was Black in the original concept whom was a Machien Empire remnant, I tied him into the former Squid Ink Inc and have the gold one be a Machine Empire remnant.

Blue as a Sirian made sense. And I made her a girl because it'd be cute and gender balancing.

Drago's scottish accent is due to Sean Connery voicing a dragon once. I think Dragonheart was the name of the movie, could be wrong.

Also, Soma and Xiphia's name are based on a genus of Scorpion and swordfish respectively.
