"He broke her spell so easily?" asked a surprised Amity.
"That's Matter for you, he's the strongest of all of us as the first Archivist to be created," said Collector with a worried expression.
"And now I'm going to finish what we started all that time ago, I'm going to kill the last of the Titans and any who stand with him," said Matter as he lifted his right hand up toward them.
"I don't think so," said Luz before an ice pillar grew out of the ground, sending the oldest of the Archivists flying out the hole in the ceiling that had been created when the four arrived.
"I knew we couldn't trust them," said Wild as Luz flew out after Matter.
"Are you kidding me?!" asked Collector.
"She is defending herself and her friends from Matter who was the one that attacked first, if she hadn't then they all would be dead right now!" they said.
"He's right," said Strife, causing everyone to stare at her. Meanwhile, in the skies over the Boiling Isles, Matter and Luz were in the midst of an aerial battle that had awoken everyone in the area.
"How is this human so fast?!" thought Matter who kept trying to attack but couldn't land a blow as Luz and String Bean were flying circles around him.
"I really don't want to fight you, but I will if you're going to hurt my loved ones," said Luz as she shot a fireball at him. However, Matter had managed to stop it before getting hit.
"Why don't you just shut up?!" asked Matter before releasing a blast wave of black energy. In return to this, Luz used her Titan roar to interrupt the wave and keep it from touching her.
"Everything was going fine until we discovered this world," said the Archivist as he floated there, fists trembling from rage.
"What do you mean?" asked Luz.
"My siblings and I were happy watching all of the worlds and seeing everything until we came upon one, this world ended all of it," said Matter.
"We sent Collector down here to get him out of our hair for a while and then he found the Titans," he said.
"Which are creatures that your magic can't hurt," said Luz.
"My magic has worked on everything except for the Titans and even Collector couldn't be affected by it," said Matter.
"Even my other siblings were not immune to it like they were," he said.
