Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and before you all begin, I want to tell you all about this experiment of mine.
You see, yesterday, I did some thinking and the result of that thinking led to this Crossover Story that I made. And it revolves around Neo being transported to another world after her ascension in Ever After. It's quite experimental, so feel free to make an opinion out of it.
The story's name is 'Sweet Redemption' but I'm still working on a better title.
And lastly, I'm currently making a Monster Hunter React Fic. The audience of that story consist of Characters from the HTTYD Franchise and

The Movie continues with the plane flying high above the clouds. Eggsy was in the middle of examining some equipment that Merlin brought along, "The fuck is this?"
"I have no idea," Roxy admitted,
"What you're playing with, is a prototype personal trans atmospheric vehicle," Merlin stated, "It was developed as part of Reagan's Star Wars project,"
As usual, Ironwood and Winter wrote this down while Penny saved this particular device in mind. Though questions were raised to the hosts.
"What's Star Wars?" Velvet questioned,
"That is a franchise that began somewhere far far away," Crestin revealed,
"Really?" Katana questioned with a disinterested look on her face,
"What? I'm trying to entertain people here," Crestin reasoned, then Katana took over the explanation, "As he said, it's a franchise that revolves around the sci-fi genre. One of Earth's popular series of the past,"
"As for the technology level of that universe. It's much more advanced as they mass-produced lethal laser blasters, large ships that travel through hyper-speed, and one tyrannic faction created a planet-scaled ship capable of wiping an entire planet off of the Galaxy," Crestin added, "And let's forget that there are some people who possess a psionic power they call as the Force. Some are the good guys known as Jedi, and Some are the bad guys known as Sith,"
"And to think that someone attempted to make a replicate of one of these things on a Universe that doesn't have such things. I'm impressed with their ingenuity, " Ozpin remarked,
As for Ruby, she couldn't wait to see how this thing works as she was shaking in her seat. The ones who held her down were Cinder and Yang...
"It's pretty basic, but it should still work," Merlin said, "We're gonna take out one of Valentine's Satellites. We're gonna break the chain, stop the signal. It'll take a couple of hours to reboot it, which buys us enough time to get you into Valentine's Main Frame so I can shut it down,"
"Lancelot, you're going to be using it. Get into your Halo Suit," Merlin instructed, and Roxy nods,
The scene soon cuts to another plane en route to Valentine's Safezone, and by the plane window was the Prime Minister.
"Swedish Prime Minister requesting permission to land," The Pilot requested,
On the ground was a SAM Turret and locked onto the plane. But when its permission was granted, the turret lowered its missiles and turned away.
"What is that?" Weiss inquired,
"That is a Mobile Anti Aircraft Turret," Crestin revealed, "The name is self-explanatory, of course,"
Weiss understood while her sister wrote the details of this turret.
The scene cuts to Valentine's Desk and monitors the arrival of his esteemed friends, "How many more are we expecting?"
"Not many. Most have their own bunkers," Gazelle said, "I figure we're just getting really nervous ones,"
The Prime Minister is then shown on screen and the camera pans towards the scar where Valentine's implants are located. Then the scene goes to the implant itself as Merlin examines it, "It seems the implant can emit some kind of counter signal to ensure the wearers remains unaffected by the waves of the SIM Cards,"
"The waves that turn everyone into a psycho killer," Eggsy remarked,
"Quite. But what he probably didn't tell anyone... is it can also superheat their soft tissue at his command. Valentine selected his chosen few to get the countdown warning... But he had to be sure they didn't blad to the wrong people beforehand," Merlin explained,
"Something that small is what caused the Professor's Head to explode?" Nora said, "Ugh, wouldn't want that in my neck,"
"I agree, even if it does protect his friends from the waves of signals. What would happen if someone else gains access and set them off?" Ren remarked,
"Something tells me that it's not going to be pleasant," Velvet said as she lowered her ears,
Regardless of that thought, they continued with the movie.
"How does this help us right now?" Eggsy questioned,
"It doesn't" Merlin revealed, and stands from his chair, "Roxy! Here we go,"
Roxy puts on the helmet of her Halo Suit in front of a mirror. What comes next is the plane landed on an open area and Merlin straps what looked like large balloons on the prototype.
"The higher you go, the more the balloons expand," Merlin elaborated, "When you reach the edge of the atmosphere, they'll explode. You'll need to deploy your missile just before that, okay?"
"Edge of the atmosphere," Roxy nervously repeated,
"Okay, I'm going to be the first to say that that is a little too high even for us," Jaune anxiously remarked,
"Little? Roxy is being sent to the edge of the atmosphere, what makes you an average huntsman who could survive such a fall without a parachute?" Emerald remarked,
"I'm sure she'll be fine," Ruby said with some optimism, "Roxy is wearing a parachute after all,"
"But that aside, this task is quite a gamble," Ironwood said, "If Roxy fails to hit the satellite, then Valentine will proceed with his plan,"
"All of Earth's Humanity will kill each other," Ozpin grimly ended, something that unsettled the rest of the audience,
Eventually, they continued with the movie.
"And once you've deployed, you'll need to release for descent, fast," Merlin reminded, "Good luck,"
Merlin walks back to the plane while Eggsy goes to hold onto Roxy's hands, "You can do this, okay?"
"Yeah," Roxy replied,
"Eggsy, come on. Time is not our friend," Merlin hurried,
Eggsy goes back to the plane while Roxy is being lifted up into the sky. With one final wave, the plane door shuts itself and resumes its flight to Valentine's safe zone.
"You're getting in on Arthur's invitation. You're gonna need to blend in," Merlin instructed,
"I'm supposed to be Arthur?" Eggsy inquired,
"How is Eggsy going to disguise himself as a wrinkly old man?" Yang questioned and earned some giggles from the young audience,
"If I could use my semblance, I think I'll do just fine," Neo remarked, and went back to the movie,
"Same, though I can't be sure if I could fool everyone for it," Emerald said,
"His invitation is in his phone," Merlin said, "You give them this. Give his real name, Chester King."
"What about you?" Eggsy questioned,
"I'm your pilot. I'm gonna stay here," Merlin said,
"Is that going to fit me?" Eggsy asked as he gestured the bag carrying a Kingsman Suit,
"A bespoke suit always fits," Merlin assured, "Just be grateful Harry had it made for you, Get dressed,"
That audience was actually touched by Harry's devotion to repaying Eggsy's father. Thus, they gave a toast to the deceased Kingsman.
The scene goes to Valentine, and he took notice of the atmosphere, "What the fuck's wrong with them?"
"I don't know. Could have something to do with the mass genocide," Gazelle presumed,
"Give me the mic," Valentine requested and Gazelle handed him the mic, he then stood up and confronts his guests, "Hey-oh! Everybody, listen up! Hello, hello! What the fuck is wrong with you people? I just wanna remind you that today... is a day of celebration,"
"For a villain, he sure does have the charm to attract the crowd," Winter remarked, and everyone nods at that,
"We must put aside all thoughts of death and focus on birth. The birth of a new age."
The following scenes soon showcase Eggsy's friends, mother, and masses of people all over the world as Valentine continued, "We should honor their sacrifice and their roles in saving the human race. We must put aside doubt and guild,"
The scene then goes back to Valentine and his friends, "You are the chosen people. When folks tell their kids the story of Noah's Ark... Is Noah the bad guy?"
"No!"
"Is God the bad guy?" Valentine asked again,
"No!"
"How about the animals marching two by two?" Valentine specified,
"No!"
"Of course not!" Valentine agreed, "Yeah, that's it! Let's turn those frowns upside down. Eat, drink, and Party!"
That riles up the crowd as they applaud his speech, "And I will see you all in the new age,"
"What's Noah's Ark?" Pyrrha questioned,
Crestin sighed at that and gestured Katana to answer the question in his stead, "Noah's Ark is an old bible story that revolves around God commanding Noah to build a large boat and fill it with animals two by two,"
"Why would he build and fill the boat with animals?" Ruby asked,
"Because God told Noah that there's going to be a massive flood that will last for 30 Days and 30 Nights," Katana revealed, "His reason for this flood is to 'drown' all the sinners of the world,"
"Why would the God of this world do such a thing?" Glynda horrifying asked, and the very expression is shared amongst most of the audience,
"You may call it God's wrath upon the sinful. But it's also referred to as God's Divine Judgement to those who dared sin against him," Crestin spoke, "And don't think for a second that this is the worst he'd done. For there are several other things I wouldn't dare to share with you,"
The audience was utterly dumbfounded and a small part of themselves felt grateful that they didn't face such divine judgment in their world. As for Ozpin's case, he was somewhat fearful of such a thing and if the Brother Gods had shared the same methods as Earth's God. Perhaps Remnant would have suffered far worse than the Grimm
With that out of their minds, they focus on the movie.
The next scene shows Eggsy lacing his shoe, checking his watch, putting on the signet ring, and fastening his tie. When the camera switches to the mirror, Eggsy puts on his glasses and stares at himself.
"Now that is a gentleman," Weiss pointed out,
"And I must admit, the suit does fit right with him," Jaune said,
"It's a shame that Harry isn't here to see him in it," Ren remarked, which made some of the audience sigh at Harry's absence,
Though Crest and Katana knew better...
Back to Roxy, she continues to ascend toward the atmosphere while Eggsy talks to her via his glasses, "Rox, it's me. How's the view?"
Roxy glances at the total height, "Hideous,"
"I don't blame her," Jaune remarked as he gulped at the number,
"Mine's pretty sweet," Eggsy said as he gazed at his reflection, "They made you one of these suits yet?"
"No, not yet," Roxy replied,
"You've got something to look forward to then," Eggsy remarked, "We're coming up on Valentine's base. Gotta go... Good luck,"
The scene goes back to Merlin, who turns to the door to see a well-suited Eggsy before him, "Looking good, Eggsy,"
"Feeling Good, Merlin," Eggsy said back,
"Really good," Coco remarked due to her fashion taste in suits, and Velvet felt quite concerned about this,
Though the thought is shared with the rest of the audience...
The scene then goes to Valentine's base where the SAM Turret locks on the next plane.
"This is November-2-4-7-Charlie-Kilo... Requesting permission to land," Merlin requested,
After a dramatic pause, a reply was given which disengages the SAM turret's locking system, "Permission is granted,"
"Fuck Me," Eggsy remarked as he came to Merlin's side and the latter hummed in agreement as both analyzed the ground forces of Valentine's base. Which consisted of over 60 Armed Soldiers and 2 Anti-Aircraft Missile Turrets.
"That's a lot of armed men and turrets," Yang remarked,
"And the location they're in, it almost looks like they aren't even there," Weiss added,
"Valentine has indeed invested so much time and money for this project of his," Winter said,
Merlin would land the plane on Valentine's runaway and stop at the designated area, "Eggsy, We're on,"
As Merlin goes off his seat, he accompanies Eggsy to the door and opens it before Valentine's business assistant and two armed guards.
"Chester King," Eggsy introduced himself, and handed Arthur's phone of invitation,
"Mr. King, Welcome," Valentine's business assistant, "I'm sure you've adhered to Valentine's strict no-weapons policy... But if you don't object"
"Of course," Eggsy insisted,
"Thank you," Valentine's assistant thanked and started scanning him. Once finished, she asked another question, "Do you have any luggage?"
Eggsy would turn and state the following, "Congratulations, Mycroft, You graduated from my pilot to my valet,"
"You cheeky," Merlin remarked,
Some snickered while Penny had a question in mind, "Um, I hope you don't mind me asking. But who's Mycroft?"
"You see, Penny. Merlin's real name is Hamish Mycroft, which sounds quite ironic considering that the actor who played him once worked on a film adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, A Brilliant but Classic Detective of England," Crest revealed, "The irony of the name Mycroft is that its the name of Sherlock's Brother, Mycroft Holmes,"
This info had caused a few giggles in the room, even a few of the adults joined in the laughter.
"Understood? Good," Eggsy turns back to Valentine's assistant, who returned Arthur's phone, "Thank you,"
Eggsy is then escorted to the reception area while Merlin goes to his screens as the plane is being taken down with the rest of the private airplanes parked below.
Eggsy is seen walking down a hall with several cells containing Valentine's VIP prisoners while Merlin instructs the following, "Eggsy, Find a laptop, get me online. The clock is ticking, and remember, try to blend in,"
"Would sir care for a drink?" A Butler inquired,
"Martini. Gin, not vodka, obviously. Stirred for 10 seconds while glancing at an unopened bottle of vermouth," Eggsy requested, "Thank you,"
"Seems like Harry didn't just teach him to wear a suit properly," Cinder remarked,
"He did say how to make a proper martini earlier," Crim added,
As the butler goes to prepare the martini, Eggsy blends with the crowd and eyes on Valentine's position, "Merlin, are you clocking this,"
"Yes, I am. Stay focused," Merlin replied at his side, then turned to another screen, "Lancelot, you're doing great. Not much further to go,"
"Yes Merlin," Roxy replied on her side,
"Eggsy, get me online now," Merlin demanded, while Eggsy is given the martini he ordered,
Eggsy scans the room, then eyes on the Prime Minister, "Yep, I'm on it,"
"Lancelot, you're approaching your altitude limit," Merlin sternly reminded, "Those balloons won't last much longer. Prepare to engage missile,"
Roxy did this by pressing a button on the control stick, popping the targeting panel and missile out, and taking aim at Valentine's satellite.
"You can do it, Roxy," Ruby said with encouragement and anxiety,
Back at Eggsy, he approaches the Prime Minister, "Society's Dead, Long Live Society,"
"Amen to that," The Prime Minister happily agreed,
"What does that suppose to mean?" Ren questioned,
"It's Eggsy's modified version of a French Phrase 'le roi est mort! Vive le roi' Which means..." Crest gestures to Penny,
"The King is Dead, Long Live the King," Penny translated,
"As for its meaning, It's but an end of a monarch and the beginning of a new monarch," Crest added,
"But in this case, Eggsy is referring to the end of society and the beginning of a new society," Ozpin remarked,
"Correct," Crest said,
"I'm Morten Lindström," The Prime Minister introduced himself while offering a handshake,
"Chester King," Eggsy said as he shook hands with the Prime Minister, "How'd you get online? I couldn't"
"It's a closed network, you see. Pre-authorized connections only," The Prime Minister revealed,
Back at Roxy, she locks on the Valentine's satellite, "I've got a fix on the satellite,"
When it goes back to Eggsy, he glances down at his watch, "Do you have the correct time? I think I'm still in my last time zone,"
"Yeah, yeah. Let's see now," As the Prime Minister turns away, Eggsy shoots him with an amnesia dart and then pushes him on the chair.
Acting quickly, Eggsy plugged into the Prime Minister's laptop and gave Merlin access to Valentine's systems. The latter proceeds to analyze the system, "Eggsy, I'm in. Get your ass back into the plane,"
"I'm on my way," Eggsy replied,
"Lancelot, good lock. Firing in 3... 2..." Before Merlin could finish the countdown, one of Roxy's balloons popped and caused her to go off target on Valentine's satellite.
Everyone jumped as soon as one of the balloons popped, and the first to react was Ruby, "Roxy!"
"She's off target!" Penny added,
Back at Eggsy's side, he closes the laptop and plans on leaving. What stopped him was a knife placed onto his neck, and a particular candidate coming from behind, "Nice and Slow,"
"Charlie!" Most of the audience recognized with utter shock,
"What is he doing there at Valentine's Party!?" Weiss exclaimed,
"Could it be that his family's involved?" Ren inquired,
"The fuck are you doing here?" Eggsy questioned as he held his hands up,
"Well, my family were invited, obviously," Charlie revealed, "Now get the fuck up, slowly,"
With Charlie holding Eggsy at knifepoint, he positions him at the opposite side of Valentine's office.
"Guess that answers that," Pyrrha remarked,
"No wonder why he failed the test," Winter stated, "Shows no loyalty and is willing to sell out Eggsy for the sake of Valentine's success,"
"Such disgrace is intolerable," Ironwood sternly stated with arms crossed and his usual frown,
A few others agreed with the General's statement. Even Crim shares the same sentiment as the Atlesian General.
"Oh shit! Lancelot, hurry up and fire! That other balloon is going to blow!" Merlin hurried,
"Yes Merlin, I nearly got it!" Roxy said, while frantically steadying her aim at the satellite, "Just give me a second!"
"Valentine! I caught a fucking spy!" Charlie yelled, which caught Valentine and his guest's attention,
"He's compromised!" Glynda exclaimed,
"Come on, Eggsy! Break out and smack this traitor's jaw open!" Nora yelled,
"Nora..." Ren scolded, "Should Eggsy break his legs first?"
"Legs are second! The mouth is first!" Nora said,
"Yeah! And knock a tooth while you're at it!" Yang added,
Valentine sats and narrows his sight on Charlie's location, "V-Glass, Zoom,"
Then, he recognizes Eggsy, "Oh fuck, it's that young valet,"
Eggsy then breaks out of Charlie's lock by shocking his left temple with his signet ring and then punches him right into his jaw whilst he is fizzing out from the electricity.
"Son of a bitch," Valentine remarked on Eggsy's assault,
As for the Audience, they expressed their praises and excitement on Eggsy's quick thinking and action to the situation.
"That's how you do it!" Qrow expressed as he stood up,
"Now break his legs!" Nora added,
"As much as I want to see that, I think Eggsy should escape first since Valentine spotted him," Jaune said,
"I agree," Crim added,
Back at Roxy, she locks onto Valentine's satellite and fires the missile just as the second balloon pops. On Eggsy's side, he vaults over the railing and makes a run for it.
"Oh shit! Sound the alarm!" Valentine ordered, and Gazelle activated the alarm, "I'm not taking any chances. Okay, you send out a two-minute warning, I'm starting the override, Alright, let's do this,"
As Valentine starts the override, Gazelle adjusts the time from 16 minutes to 2 minutes and the timer is announced to his guests.
Back at Eggsy, he was running through the hallway and hesitates to take a turn after spotting two guards to his right. Instead, he goes straightforward.
On Merlin's side, he activates the plane elevator and ascends his way to the runaway.
"You see him?" Valentine questioned,
"Right here," Gazelle pinpointed, and a surveillance camera spots Eggsy stopping in a four-way tunnel and taking a left while avoiding gunfire.
The keeps changing with Roxy falling fast, Merlin monitoring the deployed missile, the missile's POV, and finally back at Eggsy running through the tunnels.
"Eggsy, take a left," Merlin directed, then spotted two guards on another angle, "Two guards up ahead,"
As the Guard raises his gun, he fires and Eggsy avoids this by sliding on the floor and sweeping his leg. Then he vaults over the guard, grabs another guard's arm, puts him in a lock, and takes his pistol as Eggsy executes the first guard, then another with a headshot.
"Go Eggsy!" Ruby cheered,
"Show'em how a Kingsman can do!" Weiss added,
Yang and Winter dismiss this behavior as they eagerly join them in the excitement.
Penny, Ironwood, and even Glynda were taking notes on Eggsy's fighting style. For it may prove useful for training sessions. As for the rest of the audience, they were enjoying the action...
When two guards appear, the scene goes into slow motion as Eggsy cartwheels in the air while still locking his arm onto the guard and shoots the pipe which releases steam into the guards' faces.
Merlin is then seen turning to Roxy's screen, "Lancelot, release now!"
Roxy unlatches herself from the device and falls down fast. Meanwhile, Eggsy continues to navigate his way through the tunnels, "Eggsy, straight ahead then turn right,"
Eggsy kills a guard from his right, and jumps over to avoid tripping, "There's two more,"
Two guards appeared, and open-fired. Eggsy kills the one at the back, then the one in front of him, carries the latter onto his shoulders and uses him as a shield as he rolls on the floor and shoots both oncoming guards with headshots.
"Alright, everybody. Welcome to V-Day! Welcome to the New Age!" Valentine announced through his microphone, then a brief shot of the White Houe officials sitting down as the countdown is closing in.
Merlin is eyeing the cameras, the missile is closing in on Valentine's satellite, Roxy still descending and spinning fast towards the earth, and Eggsy shooting in 1st POV. As two guards fall dead, Eggsy continues to run while constantly avoiding gunfire and firing back at them.
The view changes to Eggsy's glasses as they're transmitting feed to Merlin's computer from running through narrow tunnels to shooting guards down.
"I'm not going to lie, but seeing him shoot reminds me of those shooter games," Jaune remarked,
"Except these people don't respawn and the danger of dying is real," Ren pointed out,
"Who cares! It's still awesome to watch!" Ruby said,
"Eggsy, Next Left! Down the narrow tunnel," Merlin instructed and Eggsy followed with a pistol at the ready,
As he reached the tunnel, he shot four guards dead, performed a wall jump, and then dropped down on the fifth before running once more.
"Wow," Blake expressed,
"Despite minimal space in that tunnel. Eggsy used the walls to go higher and executed that drop perfectly on that guard," Winter remarked,
"I'm definitely practicing that when we get back," Neo declared,
"So do I," Ren added,
As Valentine counts down the seconds, Eggsy performs a backflip while grabbing a guard shoots another guard through the shoulder, rolls on the ground to close in the distance with the third guard, performs a suplex on him, and then straightens his body to finish off the second guard while upside down.
Roxy deploys his chute, the missiles close in on Valentine's satellite, and Valentine finishes the countdown before pressing his hand on his desk. As his satellites go active, the chain is soon broken when the missile hits its mark and destroys the satellite. Displaying system failure on Valentine's desk.
"Nice! Well done, both of you," Merlin praised while Eggsy grabbed a guard's submachine
"It's not working! It's supposed to be working, what the fuck!" Valentine yelled, while Gazelle stammered,
Roxy was safely descending from the skies with a parachute and expressed relief at her safety and for completing her task.
"Yes! Well done, Roxy! Good girl!" Eggsy praised, while Merlin goes into the plane's cabin,
Gazelle checks the problem, then reports it to Valentine immediately, "We've lost one of our satellites,"
"And with that taken care of, all that's left is for Merlin to shut it down!" Ruby said,
"Even if he couldn't shut it down, replacing that satellite will take time," Blake remarked,
"That gives them enough time to handle Valentine personally!" Nora added,
"Oh, I can't wait to see what Eggsy does to him," Neo presumed,
Though it may sound evil, they wanted to know what would happen should Eggsy confront Valentine in the movie.
Back at the plane, Merlin's computer had finished analyzing Valentine's systems while he himself is armed with an assault rifle and a dual magazine. When he glanced at his computer, he leaned closer to learn Valentine's Biometric Security, "Oh no, no. There's no way I can hack past that,"
"Valentine's Biometric Scan!" Weiss exclaimed,
"How did we miss that," Velvet inquired,
"We didn't," Pyrrha said, along with a few others that haven't forgotten about this fact, "We just thought that Merlin's skilled enough to go past that,"
"Now that we know he doesn't. I'm afraid that they're going to have to settle with another alternative," Crim remarked,
"Which is...?" Ruby questioned,
"If Valentine's the only one who can use this machine. Then he has to be eliminated before he activates the machine himself," Ironwood said,
"Are you saying that he has to go back there and kill Valentine!" Coco remarked,
"As bad as it sounds, I'm afraid so," Qrow said, "Man, this has turned out bad for them..."
Everyone expresses concern for Eggsy due to his immediate struggle against Valentine's guards. But to go back and stop Valentine from touching his desk, that's almost close to a suicide mission...
Just outside of Merlin's plane, there were four guards standing out with weapons at the ready. Merlin would calmly exit the plane with his gun hidden behind his leg, "What's going on? Is there a problem? Come on. There's no need for guns. I'm just a pilot,"
Mostly snickered while others smirked at Merlin's claim.
"A Pilot, you say," Yang jokingly remarked,
As the four guards lowered their rifles, Eggsy appeared and attempted to shoot. But his gun was clicking which meant that he run out of ammo and the guards took notice of the noise, "Fuck, Merlin!"
With the guards turning their backs on Merlin, the latter pulls out his rifle and shoots the four guards dead, "Get in here!"
Eggsy makes a run for the plane, and another guard appears behind him. With Merlin's quick draw, he shot the guard dead as Eggsy made his way to the plane, "Come on!"
As soon as Eggsy was in, he slouches on the chair, "Let's get the fuck out of here!"
"Can't," Merlin denied, "Can't get into Valentine's machine. He's got biometric security. You're going to have to go back in there and make sure his hand never touches that desk,"
"Are you taking a fucking piss?" Eggsy irritatingly questioned,
"I'm afraid not," Merlin responded much to Eggsy's frustration,
He then stands up from the chair, and asks for Merlin's gun, "Let's have that then,"
"Ah ah, this is mine," Merlin denied, "I'll show you yours,"
Merlin escorts Eggsy to the back of the plane and then tilts a picture frame. A panel opens and it reveals the arsenal that Eggsy has in his disposal. Which hyped a particular Weapons Nut in the audience.
Eggsy browses through the arsenal and then he picks the standard umbrella.
"Good choice," Merlin commented and went out of the room while Eggsy selected a few more gadgets he could use...
When the movie pauses, Crest stands from his chair, "Alright, folks. Before we continue with the last part of this movie. Does anyone here have any questions that you'd like to ask today?"
Everyone glances at each other for a moment, and they all seem to nod at each other. Ruby would be the first to stand, and provide that question, "I've got one, and it's not about Crim,"
"Oh? Then do tell, Ms. Rose," Crest insisted,
"Well, What we want to know is... What's your story?" Ruby inquired and brought curiosity to everyone in the room. Even Katana herself seems inclined to know Crest's story.
The latter just chuckled, then smiled at Ruby, "Do you really want to know?"
Ruby nods, and Crest shrugs his shoulder, "Alright then. But instead of the very beginning, let's start with the middle,"
"The middle? Why the middle?" Yang questioned,
"Are you willing to listen to my entire life story instead, Miss Xiao Long?" Crest inquired,
"No..." Yang replied,
"Good, now let's get on with the explanation," Crest declared, "Years ago, I used to be a human psychologist. I don't recall much of my full name, but I believe the name Ryder is what truly stuck in my mind. As for my work, there is only one word that describes my experience; Excellency!"
"You've talked to people out of their problems?" Katana said,
"Why of course, I have! I even recall providing my services to people who couldn't afford me. For their lives are worth more in life than in death. As life goes on and all that, you could say I had it all" Crest explained, then he let out a dejected sigh, "Until tragedy struck in the worst possible time,"
"What kind of tragedy," Blake inquired, though she felt uneased in asking this question,
"Why a tumor, of course," Crest bluntly revealed, "One that's found in the very depths of my brain, Inoperable, as they say,"
Everyone expresses shock upon this reveal, even Katana since Crest seemed calm about the reveal.
"What happened after your diagnosis?" Winter inquired,
"I started losing it all. My so-called friends abandoned me, my job and reputation tossed aside, and I was also forced to part ways with my family as I insisted that I didn't want to burden them with my oncoming demise," Crest revealed, "After all, I only had like three months to live since the tumor causes intense seizures should I miss my medication,"
"That's just..." Velvet tries to say, but gets cut off in the end,
"Horrible? I know," Crest said, "And as I said to myself, better to suffer than let people learn of my suffering. I even refused therapeutic help just to prove that point across"
"But why?" Weiss questioned,
"Because talking my problems out won't make the situation any better for me than it is for them," Crest said, "And look how it all turned out in the end,"
"But if you're dying that time, then why are you here? How did you become who you are today?" Ruby inquired,
"Physically speaking, I died a human. My remains may as well be at the bottom of the sea," Crest revealed, "Spiritually, my soul didn't reach the afterlife or purgatory. Instead, I met... something, struck a deal, and here I am. Eternally bound with powers beyond human comprehension,"
"You said 'something', Not someone?" Weiss noted,
"Had I seen someone, I would said so. Since I didn't see anyone, I said 'something'," Crest said, "It's an indiscriminate term people use for things you can't verify as a person,"
"Okay... I think I'm beyond confused," Nora remarked while rubbing her temples,
"Then let's stop right there," Crest said, "For what I've said is enough,"
Crest then sat down on his chair, "Now let's return to the movie, for what you're about to see will be the Grand Finale of the movie,"
Everyone decided to take their respective and finish the movie. While some are hyped for the end, some are nervous about what Crest has said to them.
Sorry for the long wait! I've been busy with a lot of stories. Especially the ones in A03 (Those who dare to read there, Find TheRisingDryad). But I promise that I'll see through this to the end!
But should I finish this, maybe I'll work on the next RWBY Reaction Fic in the future and it'll be a series instead of a movie. As for the Audience, It'll be large.
And speaking of Reaction Fic, There's this Reaction Fic I've made. It's called Land of Monsters, an inspiration of Katana of the Blade's Monstrous Education. But instead of a cinema, I've settled for a different kind of reaction. So far I've covered the Velocidrome, the Weapons, and the Yian Garuga. Right now, I'm working on the Rathian and Rathalos.
