Several years after the day the Archivests arrived, Luz was walking into her and Amity's new house after a long day of work.
"Sweet potato, I'm home," said Luz.
"Welcome back," said Amity who walked up with a baby in her arms.
"How has Azura been today?" asked Luz.
"Just great, she missed you though," said Amity as Azura reached out for Luz and giggled at her.
"Sorry about that, mami had to go to work today," said Luz while taking Azura into her own arms before rubbing their noses together, getting even more giggles out of the little one.
"Speaking of work, how did things go over in the human world?" asked Amity.
"We're slowly getting through to people who will be good to bring over, I talked to those twins who went against that demon a while back and they're interested," said Luz.
"The biggest problem is keeping all of this low key so the governments over there don't find out, if they know about the Boiling Isles then things will only get worse for us," she said.
"I'm sure you and Gus can pull it off," said Amity while wrapping her arms around Luz's shoulders before giving her a kiss.
