Link woke up to find himself on a straw mat on the floor. He slowly got up and saw he was in a bedroom. It was a really nice room with a large soft bed, a hand carved wooden dresser, and a window looking outside. He found his sword and shield still on his back, which must have been the reason his back was hurting so much. He looked down at his hand which had been burning with pain before he lost consciousness. He was surprised to find the familiar mark of the Triforce, which he had seen on most ruins connected to the Hylian Royal family. Luckily, it no longer burned. He glanced out the window and saw that it was night. He walked over to the window and saw that he was inside one of the towers he had seen when he was falling. Then he looked up to the moon, but gasped as instead of one, there were two. One was blue and the other was pink. He turned away from the window as he heard the door begin the creak open. He dived behind the door and silently drew his sword. It turned out to be the Zelda look-alike from before. He pointed his sword at her throat and she froze.

"You have an explanation to give me," he said, trying to be intimidating.

She slowly opened her eyes and they filled with terror as she saw him. It seemed that she still didn't understand the Hylian language.

So, he tried to use pantomiming to explain. He pointed to her, then to her mouth, and to himself. She still looked confused and her face started to turn red. He realized his mistake and put his sword away. He instead sat down on the straw mat and patted the bed next to him for her to sit on. She seemed to understand that and she sat down. Her nose appeared to be smashed and she tried to cover it, but he already had noticed it. He pointed to his nose and then at her. She pointed to the door and then her face. He tried to keep himself from laughing, but he let a small smirk slip through. He spotted her repeatedly glancing at the pair of white gloves that she had been wearing earlier that day. He motioned that she could get the gloves, and so she did. She began whispering something as soon as she put them on and something underneath one of her gloves began to glow. Then, there was a flash of brilliant light.

As the light subsided, she took her gloves off and put them back where they were before.

"Can you understand me know"? She asked.

He then realized that the girl now seemed to be speaking Hylian. He gasped as he started to speak.

"Where am I? Who are you? Why did you kiss me? What are those gloves? Why do you.." As he frantically started asking questions, she placed her hand over his mouth to shut him up.

"Let's start over. My name is Zelda Harkinian, and I am a noble second year mage at Tristan academy of Magic" she said with a slight hint of smugness in her tone of voice.

"Wait, your name IS Zelda"? He asked in surprise.

"Yes, why do you ask"? Zelda asked suspiciously.

"Well, I guess I have a lot of explaining to do," he said sheepishly while scratching the back of his head.

He took in a deep breath and began his story.

"My name is Link. I come from the Kingdom of Hyrule, and am a hero and champion of the Hyrulean Royal Family. I have many titles that I don't like to mention, but one is The Knight that Seals the Darkness. 100 years ago, I was appointed as the Princess's appointed knight after I had protected her countless times and had drawn the Master Sword. The Master Sword can only be drawn by the destined Hero of Hyrule. The Princess, some other Champions, and I worked our way to try and prevent the prophesied return of an evil entity called The Great Calamity. However, we were unsuccessful and the other Champions perished in battle. I was greatly wounded and almost died if it hadn't been for the Princess. She took me to an ancient healing structure called The Shrine of Resurrection. She then went alone to face the beast herself, and I haven't seen her since. A few months ago, my body was finally healed after being asleep for 100 years. However, the healing process had a cost, I lost all of my memories. I then began to work my way to regain my strength, stamina, memories, and to take Hyrule's control back from the beast. After I redrew the Master Sword, I was called to take on the Trial of the Sword. However, as soon as I was about to begin, I got sucked into a portal that brought me here. That's the basics of my story" Link explained.

Zelda listened intently as he spoke, but was in disbelief about his story. It seemed almost impossible, and she began to get frustrated.

"That was a very nice story, Link, but you didn't answer my question. Why did you ask about my name?" Zelda asked with irritation.

"Oh, sorry I forgot to mention that the Princess is Princess Zelda and she looks almost exactly like you" Link said.

Zelda's mouth dropped open.

"Ok, I've had enough for tonight, I'm going to bed. You can sleep on that mat, and don't get any weird or creepy ideas" Zelda said with a commanding tone.

Link obliged and turned away from her as she changed into her nightgown. The last thing he could remember before he fell asleep was that he thought he heard screaming coming from outside the window.
