Claire is in her car racing back to the main area of the park, talking on her cell phone.

Claire:"We have an asset out of containment! Put ACU on alert! This is not a drill!"

Control Room

Lowery and Vivian are chatting.

Lowery:"Even though I didn't meet him until I was thirteen, I definitely considered Carl to be, like, more of a dad than my real dad..."

Everyone looked confused by their conversation.

They hear a beep. On the park map, a blinking red dot indicates trouble in the Restricted Area. The phone rings. Lowery answers it.

Lowery:"Yeah, hello?"

Claire:(over the phone)"Lowery...get me coordinates on the Indominus."

Control Room

Lowery and Vivian exchange confused glances.

Lowery:"Okay, yeah, uh..."

Masrani enters and looks up at the map.

Lowery:"...let me do... uh, I'm doin' it right now."

"Do it faster!"Ginny exclaimed.

Paddock 11

Alex and Nick enter the main area of the enclosure through a side door. Warily, they walk through the jungle to the back wall, where a worker, Ellis, is inspecting the claw marks. Alex is alert and Nick looks nervous, but they make it over to where Ellis is without incident. Alex feels the deep grooves with his bare hand and the three men stare up at the massive wall looming over them.

Nick:(skeptical)"That wall's forty feet high. You really think she could've climbed out?"

Alex:"Depends..."

"Depend on what?"Neville nervously asked.

Nick:"On what?"

Alex:"What kinda dinosaur they cooked up in that lab..."

Control Room

The tracking device indicates on the map that the dinosaur is still in Paddock 11.

Lowery:(confused)"Wait, what the hell? It's in the cage..."

Everyone gasped.

"What!?"

"How was the Indominus able to escape the thermal scan?"Ted wondered.

"Oh no no no no..."Lily shakes her head.

Driving

Claire:(dubious)"Well, that's impossible. I was just there!"

Control Room

Lowery:"Claire, I'm telling you, she's in the cage...!"

Masrani looks up and sees a video feed of the Paddock 11 interior showing Alex, Nick and Ellis still inspecting the claw marks. After a moment the others do, too.

Everyone tensed up,.

"Alex you need to get out of there now!"Lily yelled.

Harry and Rose stared at the screen in horror as their brother was in the cage with the Indominus...

Lowery:(dawning fear)"What? Wait a second, there are people in there..."

Driving

Claire:(gasps)"GET 'EM OUT OF THERE! NOW!"

Control Room

Vivian:(frantic)"Paddock 11, this is Control! You need to evacuate the containment..."

Paddock 11

Vivian's voice comes through Nick's radio all garbled.

Vivian:(through the radio)"...area... ...Paddock 11... ...dock 11, do you copy..."

"Wow, you really did have bad reception."Justin said.

"Like I say, we didn't have the best coverage since the paddock was in the restricted area. And it's why we chosen Verizon Wireless as a sponsor."Claire said.

"Not only that but hills and concrete would cause issues."Alex said.

Nick answers. He doesn't seem concerned, although Alex is already glancing around, suddenly uneasy.

Nick:(casual)"Yeah, what's the problem?"

Control Room

Vivian:(frantic)"It's in the cage! It's in there with you!"

Paddock 11

Nick looks confused. Alex springs into action.

Alex:"Go!"

Alex pushes past Nick and the three begin running for the door they entered through. Nick is slow and lags behind. Suddenly he stops,

"Why did he stop!?"Blaise exclaimed, alarmed.

"Run you idiot!"Michael yelled.

glimpsing the outline of Indominus rex through the trees.

"Oh god!"

"RUN!"

"She's beautiful."Hagrid said, all the professor raised an eyebrow at him making him blushed.

Turning, he runs back the other way. Alex and Ellis skid to a halt as the I. rex emerges from the jungle and blocks their escape. It bellows forth a mighty roar. The two turn and run back the way they came, but Ellis isn't fast enough. Indominus snatches him up in her clawed hands. He screams.

Everyone gasped in horror, as younger student covered their eyes.

Control Room

Masrani, Lowery and Vivian listen to Ellis' screams over the radio. We hear crunching sounds.

Driving

A horrified Claire can also hear the sounds of Ellis being eaten.

Paddock 11

Reaching the back door, Nick uses a handprint ID and a security code to override the door lock. The huge door begins to open. Running to it, he hesitates, looking back at Alex who is running towards him with Indominus rex right behind him.

"Run!"Rose cried out.

"Oh god, please let him escape."Lily prayed, clutching James tightly.

He sees Indominus with Ellis in her mouth. She rips off one of his legs. Nick screams and runs through the door.

Control Room

A video feed shows the paddock door opening with an alarm blaring "SECURITY BREACH."

Masrani:"Close the door."

"What!? Don't you fucking dare lock him there with that thing!"Lily yelled.

Lowery:"We can't lock him in there with that thing!"

Masrani:"Come on, close it now!"

Lowery doesn't react. Masrani leans over and presses the button himself.

Driving

Claire:(yelling into her phone)"Somebody talk to me! What is happening?"

Paddock 11

The door begins to slowly close as Alex runs towards it, with the huge predator gaining on him from behind.

Alex:"Shit!"

He runs through. Workers rush around in a wild panic, trying to escape, as Indominus gets halfway through before the door closes on her. Her head and one arm stick free and she snaps her jaws at Alex. He runs and slides underneath the crane, where he lies hiding on his stomach. Indominus pushes the door off of its track with the servos whining in protest and then steps out from inside the paddock, freed.

Everyone eyes widened in horror as the Indominus was freed.

"Oh fuck..."Sirius muttered.

Alex watches, wide-eyed, as Indominus stomps over to where Nick is sitting in front of a pickup truck. She walks around the left side as Nick, mustering his courage, peers around the right front bumper. He whimpers and sobs as he sees the huge tail disappearing around the rear of the truck, then turns back around, trying to hide. He clutches and kisses a crucifix.

Suddenly the truck is violently knocked aside, flying through the air and crashing noisily to the ground upside-down, leaving the supervisor sitting out in the open completely exposed. He and Alex look at one another for a long moment. Suddenly, the jaws snap down, grabbing Nick and lifting him up out of view.

The younger student covered their eyes again as some start to scream in horror.

Acting quickly, Alex draws a survival knife and rolls over onto his back. Reaching up, he grabs the crane's fuel line and hacks desperately at it with his blade until he finally slices through it, rupturing it and spewing gasoline down onto himself. Hurriedly, he smears it all over himself in an effort to mask his scent. Having finished eating Nick, Indominus now approaches the crane and crouches down on all fours, sniffing.

Everyone holds their breath. Lily holds on tightly to James's arm, while Harry and Rose hug each other, frightened for their big brother.

Alex lies back, perfectly still, as the dinosaur's bloodied, gore-encrusted jaws inch closer and closer... until finally she withdraws, rising up out of view, and walks away.

Slowly, Alex lifts his head, watching her go, her thudding footsteps retreating into the distance. Shivering, he lies back down and exhales in relief.

Everyone sighed in relief.

"Oh thank god he's safe."Lily sighed.

Control Room

Claire:"Everyone remain calm. The implant will shock it if it gets too close to a perimeter fence."

Lowery:"Okay, it's moving really fast."

Vivian:"This is control, put out a park-wide alert-"

Masrani:"Hang up the damn phone, please!"

"What!?"

"Why?"Rose asked.

Vivian:"Sorry, I'm getting new information. Everything is fine."

Masrani:"Let Asset Containment capture it quietly. The very existence of this park is predicated on our ability to handle incidents like this. It was an eventuality, okay?"

"Shouldn't they at the very least closed all the attraction that are close to the Indominus location?"Lily asked.

"We did..."Claire was in deep thought, if they had done it sooner maybe Zack and Gray wouldn't have been in danger but at the same time her and Alex might not have got closer.

Lowery:"You should put that in the brochure. Eventually, one of these things will eat somebody."

Claire:"That paddock is four miles from the closest attraction. ACU can handle this, no one else is gonna get-"

Lowery:"Eaten?"

Alex and Claire winced knowing what had happened.

ACU Headquarters

Troopers are seen locking and loading various weapons.

Automated Voice:"To all units. This is a non-lethal operation. Understood?"

"Non-lethal! Why?"Sirius asked.

"They wanted to capture it alive... I had an argument with their stupid idea of not going lethal."Alex said.

A trooper heads towards the camera, and a stun device in his hand is activated as he does, the blue bolt visible.

Raptor Research Arena

Barry and Hoskins watch the raptors.

"Not him again..."Rose groaned.

Hoskins:"How fast can they run?"

Barry:"Forty. Fifty when they're hungry."

Hoskins:"Ooh! You ever open them up, see what they can do?"

Barry:"No."

Hoskins:"Shit! That got me. It got me."

Barry:"What do you think? Want to take one home?"

"I would love to have a baby dino but not a raptor."Rose said.

"What dinosaur would you even want?"Harry asked.

"Hmm, I don't know maybe a baby Triceratops."Rose replied, Harry sighed, he should have known she'd say that since it's her favorite dinosaur.

Hoskins:"Hey, don't joke. When I was your age, I rescued a wolf pup. It was, like, two months old. It could barely walk. It used to sleep by my bed. Watch over me. My wife, she came at me with a steak knife. It took a chunk out of her arm."

Barry:"Did you put him down?"

Hoskins:"Hell, no. We had an unshakeable bond, you know? Just like you and... What's his name?"

"Delta is not a boy! That's Delta right?"Rose asked Alex.

"You got it right."Alex smile at his little sister.

Barry:"Delta. And she's a girl."

Hoskins:"Can I..."(pats Delta, who snarls insidiously) "Wow."

"Even Delta doesn't like him."Rose giggles.

Automated Voice:"Code 19!"

Barry:"That's the new one! They said we lost two guys!"

Hoskins:"What's a Code 19?"

Barry:"That's Indominus! Asset out of containment. These people, they never learn.

Hoskins:"They're gonna learn all kinds of things about their new asset now."(he takes a cell phone and dials a number) "Hey. Yeah, it's me. We might have an opportunity here."

Alex cursed under his breath at Hoskins.
