AN: I wanted to do a scene with Dumbledore, and Snape, talking to them, where the last chapter left off, but was unable to get it to fit together, which is what took me so long to upload this chapter, I was trying to get it right, unfortunately, I wasn't so I just skipped it, and wrote the action part with filling at a places on what they talked about. Hopefully this chapter is good. Warning, there is a little violence, gun use, and bad language in this chapter.

Chapter 44: The Red Guardian.
"Out of all the things I thought I would do after having my name cleared, helping break a muggle out of prison didn't even make the list," Sirius said in a low voice as he walked through the woods.
"Yeah, well, I don't think any of us imagined us doing this," Remus replied. He and Sirius were walking on either side of Natasha, who looked up at the clouds gathering in the sky and then pulled her hood up on her head when it started to drizzle. She hadn't said anything since getting off the Quinjet.
A week has passed since Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape showed up at Grimmauld Place with a problem. A couple of weeks ago, Voldemort had given Snape a mission. He ordered him to go to the Seventh Circle Prison in Russia and kill one Alexi Shostakov, AKA The Red Guardian, who has earned Voldemort's ire by merely existing. Dumbledore had given them a problem to solve; he needed Voldemort to think Snape fulfilled his mission without Shostakov dying, and the only way to accomplish that was by making everyone think Shostakov was dead, which required a lot of planning, good timing, a storm, breaking Shostaokv out of prison and an illusion, Loki was the one who came up with the plan, and Sirius thought it was a good one, even if it did take them a while to convince the Avengers to go with Loki's idea. This meant he was in charge of this mission, a fact the Avengers hated, and Sirius was positive they were only going along with it because of Thor.
Natasha stopped at the edge of the woods and held her arms out to stop Sirius and Remus from walking any further; then the three of them found a tree to duck behind, Sirius on one side, Remus and Natasha on the other, they had to wait for a few minutes before going on. More thunder rumbled overhead, and lightning flashed across the sky; there was a slight breeze as they watched the prison silently.
It was almost time for Thor to land on the roof and cause a lightning bolt to strike the building to knock out the power. Afterward, Loki would teleport Bucky onto the roof, whose job was to take out the guards in the watch towers. Sirius, Remus, and Natasha were all under a Disillusionment Charm, put on them by Sirius, so they were campflughed into the background. They wouldn't be noticeable to others, but since they were under the same charm, they could still see each other. Sirius glanced at Natasha; she had been acting weird since Snape mentioned Alexi Shostakvo. Sirius was sure she knew him somehow and had been battling with herself on whether or not he was worth the trouble to save. Natasha volunteered to be one that went into the prison to get him. Sirius guessed she decided he was, at least, somewhat worth it. Sirius turned from Natasha and pulled out his pocket watch.
"It's almost time," Sirius whispered. Their job was to go in and try to locate Shostakvo, grab him, and get out before the Death Eaters saw the real one. Loki would then take his place and act like him when the Death Eaters find him, he will make them think Snape killed Shostakvo using an illusion and trickery, and then Loki would teleport out of there. They would then take the Red Guardian to Grimmauld Place, where he'd stay until Tony could contact Nick Fury and arrange for S.H.E.I.L.D. to pick him up and stash him somewhere safe. Tony figured they'd be taking him to their special prison since he was a criminal and was supposed to be locked up, even if he was about to be declared legally dead. Sirius couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy. He couldn't imagine how horrible it would be if someone locked him up in Azkaban again right after he had escaped.
Out of curiosity and concern, while making this plan, Tony had asked Loki how he would get everyone to believe Shostakvo was dead when there wouldn't be a body left behind. Loki told them not to worry. He'd take care of it. Then he gave Sirius a wink, and Sirius knew what Loki was planning. Three days later, Loki teleported Sirius to a certain prison and let him kill a certain traitor and transfigure his body into a copy of Alexi Shostakvo so they could leave it behind as proof that Shostakvo was dead. Finally, getting his revenge on the rat was almost worth letting Loki allow Lucius Malfoy to break the rest of the Death Eaters out of Azkaban. At least Voldemort had one less supporter they had to worry about., Now they just need to take out Bellatrix.
"There's Thor," Remus said. Sirius watched as his lover's brother landed on the roof of the prison and held up Mjolnir and a large strike of lighting came from the sky and struck the building, and they could hear the sizzle of electricity from where they stood. It lasted for three minutes before knocking the power out in the prison; immediately, an alarm sounded, and most of the guards at the gate turned and ran toward the jail.
Sirius saw Loki's green magic appear on the roof as he teleported Bucky there, who immediately aimed his gun and shot the two guards in one watch tower, then pointed it at the second tower and got them too, putting all four out, but not killing them; since their goal wasn't to kill anyone, especially the guards who were just be doing their jobs, Bucky's gun was loaded with tranquilizers and not actual bullets, it will still hurt like hell to be shot with them. But, it will only cause the unlucky person to sleep for a few hours.
"Come on," Natasha said, hurrying towards the gate. By the time they reached it, Bucky had taken out the guards that had stayed behind and Sirius used magic to get the gate to pop open then when they entered through them, Remus pulled out his wand and quickly put the unconscious guards under the Disillusionment Charm so they wouldn't immediately be found by other guards; then Sirius used magic to open the door, and they entered the prison. Natasha touched her earpiece, and said."Alright, we're in."
"There should be a long hall to your right. Go that way." Tony Stark's voice told her, and Natasha led Sirius and Remus down that Hall, "Go halfway down, then take a left, and keep going, another left, then turn right. You should come upon where the prisoners are kept soon after that."
Sirius followed Remus, who was following Natasha, while Tony Stark spoke directions to her ear from his place on the Quinjet. Thor kept the storm going outside, the alarm still blurred, and they passed guards running down the hall shouting as they panicked, hurrying to get the lights back on before a prisoner could take advantage of the situation and escape. When they reached the turn that Tony said led to the prisoners. They had to stop and flatten themselves against the wall so no one would bump into them or knock them down as a group of armed guards led the inmates in another direction. Once the last inmate passed, the three followed them and were led into the cafeteria, where the guards made all the inmates enter, along with five armed guards with flashlights, then quickly closed the double doors and put a chain around the handles, and put a padlock on it, locking them all in.
"Now what?" Sirius demanded as they pushed their way through the inmates.
"Now we find Alexi and get out of here," Natasha whispered.
"They chained the doors closed." Sirius pointed out. Natasha sighed, and Sirius could imagine her rolling her eyes.
"You two have magic, and Alexi is a Super Soldier," Natasha said, looking around. "We'll be able to get out of here."
The trio spent five minutes pushing through the criminals, trying to see in the dark when they heard a loud voice coming from the other side of the room that was going on about the time he faught Captain America. Natasha groaned and went in the direction of the voice. The two wizards followed.
"That's him," Natasha said, stopping a few feet from a long table with a group of inmates sitting on it or at it. In the middle telling the story was an overweight man with a long, shaggy beard, and shaggy greasy hair. Since it was cloudy outside due to Thor's storm, there wasn't much light shining in the small windows, and Alexi Shostakvo wasn't much more than a shape in the semi-darkness.
"This is stupid. I can hardly see a bloody thing," Sirius whispered. He held his hand up and made yellow light appear in his hand, tapping into the power the mind stone gave him instead of his wizard magic.
"Sirius." Remus snapped, "Someone is going to see that."
"Relax, Moony, we are still under the Disillusionment Charm, and if anyone sees it, they'll just think it's one of the guard's flashlights," Sirius said, but he put out the light anyway. "And don't shout our names, we might not be visible, but they can still hear us."
"We need to cause a distraction to get those prisoners away from Alexi." Natasha said, "So we can grab him and get out."
"He let himself go," Sirius commented. Hoping Loki could fix Pettigew's body to look like Shostakvo does now. He would have to find Loki and alert him to Shostakvo's new looks, he'll need to be accurate when shifting into him, Sirius cringed at the thought, Loki wasn't going like having to look like Shostakvo does now.
"Well, the picture Pierce gave Snape was from a long time ago," Natasha said, her expression unreadable as she watched Shostakov. Sirius still found it odd someone could gain so much weight in prison when he was a skeleton when he escaped Azkaban.
"That story he's telling, that's not true, is it?" Remus asked as they tried to figure out a way to make a distraction.
"Unless Shostakov is over seventy, then no, that never happened," Sirius said.
"Are you calling me a liar?" Alexi suddenly yelled at another inmate for saying that Captain America was still on ice the year he claimed this fight happened. The inmate backed down, but it gave Sirius an idea, and he looked around for a way to make it happen. Then lightning let up the room, shining in from a window. Sirius noticed a rack of food trays against the wall and raised his hand, causing a tray to float in the air. Sirius waved his hand, and the tray hit the nearest prisoner on the back of his head. Then Sirius made it fly to a prisoner standing behind him, who caught it to stop it from hitting his face.
The first prisoner turned around to see what had hit him and saw the guy behind him still holding the tray and started yelling. The other guy dropped the tray, denying hitting him, then with an angry shout, the first prisoner attacked the second, which knocked over more prisoners, who didn't take kindly to it and joined in on their fight, and soon a brawl erupted in the cafeteria, everyone fighting someone, there was shouting and yelling. At the same time, the guards ran around, trying to stop the brawl.
"Padfoot, what did you do?" Remus demanded, ducking as a chair went flying over his head.
"I caused a distraction," Sirius said. Just as someone shoved into him, he pushed the person back. "Come on, let's gab Shostakvo and go."
Sirius dropped the Disillusionment Charm on them and pushed through the fighting prisoners, leading them towards Shostakvo; Remus was walking close to Natasha while he cast a Sheild Charm to keep anything or anyone from hitting them. It took them a while to reach Shostakvo, who was fighting four guys and winning when the last guy fell. Sirius walked up and laid his hand on his shoulder. Shostakvo spun around, fist raised, ready to punch the wizard. Remus appeared on his other side and grabbed his arm, stopping the punch and probably saving Shostakvo's life because if he gave Sirius a black eye or broke his jaw, Loki would likely kill him.
"Who are you?" Alexi demanded, his face full of surprise as he tried to move his arm but couldn't.
"Alexi," Natasha said, taking off her hood. He looked surprised to see her.
"Natasha?" Alexi asked, confirming that Sirius's guess was correct. They knew each other, but there was no time to dwell on that fact; deciding it could wait until later, Sirius put his hand back on Alexi's shoulder.
"Come with us," Sirius said, his eyes glowing yellow.
"Okay." Alexi agreed; Remus let go of his arm to allow Sirius to lead him through the crowd to the exit, Natasha and Remus following behind them.
"Bombarda."
Sirius yelled as he conjured up a large ball of magic, and threw it, the spell hit the double doors so hard they were blasted off the hinges and hit the wall with a loud echoing bang, and scared the hell out of the guards standing on either side of them, who still quickly jumped into action as they ran out of the cafeteria and tried to stop them. Alexi grabbed one by the collar and tossed him down the hall, Natasha took down another one, Remus took down one, and Sirius grabbed hold of the gun one guard was holding, careful to keep it pointed up, and no finger touching the trigger, as he turned in word, and elbowed the guy in the face, causing him to let go of the gun, Sirius then reached up grabbed the back of his head and whispered the stunning spell, the guard fell to the ground unconscious. Sirius took the bullets out of the weapon, dropped them to the floor, and tossed the gun down the hall. He's hated guns ever since that asshole Rumlow shot Harry in the leg.
"We could have used that," Alexi said.
"We're not here to kill anyone," Sirius told him, heading down the hall. He turned and bumped into another guard, who immediately pointed his gun at him.
"Who-" he didn't get to finish that question. Remus quickly pulled Sirius behind him and punched the guard on the side of the head, and he crumbled to the ground.
"Sorry," Remus yelped, looking guilty, he hadn't meant to hit him that hard.
"Don't worry about it," Natasha said, grabbing his hand and pulling him down the hall. Alexi followed, and Sirius knelt and touched the guard's throat, sighing when he felt a pulse, then jumped up and hurried to catch up with the others. He reached them as they turned a corner and the lights came back on just as Loki appeared in front of them.
"The Death Eaters are here. You guys get him back to the jet before he's seen. I'll take it from gere" Loki said, looking at Alexi. The serious expression he wore on his face turned to one of disgust.
"I'm coming with you; Natty and Moony can get Shostakov to the jet," Sirius said.
"No need, I'm not going to fight them, just a little illusion, that's all, and if you're there, you could get hurt," Loki said. Sirius opened his mouth to argue, but Alexi talked over him.
"You're that guy from the news, the one who blew up New York, " Alexi said.
"Invaded, actually," Loki replied, his eyes looking Alexi over as his lip curled up ward. "This is him? The Super Soldier? He's fat." Loki made a face. "I do not want to look like this." He waved his hand at Alexi, making a face. Just as shouts and gunfire could be heard.
"We are running out of time," Remus said. "Loki, this was your idea, you saw his picture you knew-"
"But in that picture, he was just unpleasant to look at," Loki complained, "Now, he's disgusting."
"Hey," Alexi said. He was ignored as Remus and Loki kept arguing.
"Just go do it while we get him out of here," Remus ordered, and Loki sighed.
"Fine," Loki glared at Remus but shifted into Shostakvo (causing him to yelp). "But now I'm going to have to change the body a bit, which will take a little time."
"What body?" Natasha asked. Loki didn't answer. He looked down at himself with a look of disgust on his face, then disappeared in a swirl of green magic, leaving Sirius feeling annoyed that Loki wouldn't let him go with him.
"Come on," Remus said, continuing down the hall. They could hear the chaos that was going on inside the prison, and Sirius didn't budge, a look of worry on his face, even though he knew Loki could take care of himself.
"Sirius, you heard Loki. You'll just be in his way," Natasha said, laying her hand on his shoulder. "He'll be fine. He survived a fight with six Avengers, including the Hulk, with just a few scratches."
Natasha couldn't care less if Loki was fine, but she wanted a friendship with Sirius, and for some reason, Sirius had feelings for the God of Mischief, and she felt she needed to comfort her friend; plus, she didn't want him running after Loki to get caught or killed. After a moment, Sirius reluctantly again and followed them as they continued down the hall. They turned right to find two guards with guns pointing at them.
"Stop right there." One guard said, speaking in Russian, but since Sirius could speak Russian, along with French and German, thanks to Walburga forcing him and Regulus to learn other languages, he could understand him. There was an explosion on the other side of the prison that shook the whole building—followed by shouts and more gunfire.
"What did you do?" Another guard demanded, also speaking in Russian, his finger going on the trigger.
"We didn't do that." Remus denied it, though he didn't know if the guards could understand English.
"Drop the guns and kick them to me," Sirius ordered, speaking in Russian, his eyes turning yellow again, but the only one who did was the guard standing in front of Sirius, his mind control power not being strong enough to affect more than one person yet.
"What are you doing?" The other guard demanded, looking fearful. He was younger and nervous, possibly new on the job.
"He told me to." The other guard defended. The nervous one glanced at Sirius, who had kicked the dropped gun further down the hall and stepped toward him his eyes glowing yellow again, but before he could voice his command, the guard panicked.
"No!" He cried, trying to back up, and his finger slipped and pulled the trigger. A loud pop echoed down the hall, and Sirius cried out in shock and pain as he got knocked into the wall and sled to the ground, his hand on his shoulder. He pulled it back to look at it and saw blood on his hand.
"Fuck." Sirius cursed, gripping his shoulder again and throwing his head back. He didn't know what hurt worse, getting shot or the Cruciatus Curse his mother used to put him under when he got too mouthy for her liking.
"Sirius!" Remus cried, getting over his shock. He looked to the guard. "You shot Sirius."
"Sor..sorry." the guard stumbled, dropped his gun, and backed up, looking terrified at the mad look on Remus's face, and with an animalistic growl, Remus rushed forward, grabbed the guard by the shirt, lifted him, and threw him down the hall, he landed hard on his back, rolled two times, then laid there face down and didn't move. Remus turned to the second guard, who screamed and ran.
"Padfoot." Remus dropped to his knees next to his honorary brother. He moved Sirius's hand and pulled the collar of his jacket aside to look. The top of Sirius' shirt was already soaked in blood, Remus grabbed the collar of the shirt and pulled it down to see if he could see how bad it was, Natasha stood over him watching. Sirius had a small hole on the front of his shoulder, and when he made Sirius lean forward he saw a hole in the back of his leather jacket, where the bullet must have existed, meaning Sirius likely had a wound that was bleeding there too. Remus flet of it, Sirius flinched, that, and the fact Remus now had blood on his hands confirmed his suspicion.
"That bastard ruined my jacket," Sirius said. "Look, there's a hole in it."
"I think you should be more worried about the holes that are in you," Remus said, worry in his voice.
"Ah, Reigny will heal me. "Sirius said, "It's nothing to worry about. Hurts like hell though."
"You have two wounds in your body that's bleeding everywhere. That's plenty to worry about," Remus said, "We need to get to the jet."
Remus stood and reached down to help Sirius up, then paused as they heard footsteps running their way and looked to see three more armed guards running towards them, but then there were three loud pops, and the guards fell to the ground, revealing Bucky standing behind them.
"The Winter Soldier," Alexi said, staring at Bucky with wide eyes.
"It's Bucky," Bucky said in an annoyed tone, then turned to Sirius and Remus. "I just spoke to Loki, who I thought was him at first." he chuckled. "He sure isn't happy about impersonating him." he nodded his chin towards Alexi. "Anyway, he wants everyone back on the Quinjet before he gets there."
"Help me up, Moony," Sirius said, and Remus grabbed Sirius's hand and pulled him to his feet. He groaned as the movement caused him more pain, and he held his arm to him. "Let's get the fuck out of here."
"There is no need for the colorful language," Remus said.
"No need?" Sirius demanded, "Moony, I feel like my shoulder was blown up."
"Were you shot?" Bucky asked, walking closer and looking at Sirius's shoulder.
"Yes, and it fucking hurts," Sirius answered.
Before Remus could reprimand Sirius's language again, there were shouts, gunfire, and flashing lights; some Death Eaters were battling guards, and they were all heading their way.
"Fuck this," Sirius said, "Moony, bring Natty and the idiot." with that, Sirius grabbed Bucky's arm and apparated outside, where he let go of him and stumbled into a building, holding his shoulder.
"Are you alright?" Bucky asked, pushing Sirius's jacket away to look at the wound. "You have an exit and entry wound. The bullet must have gone straight through."
"Oh, that makes me feel so much better," Sirius mumbled, and Bucky snorted.
"You've been with Loki too long," Bucky told him. "His sarcasm has rubbed off on you." Sirius started to laugh, then immediately stopped.
"Don't make me laugh." he said, "it hurts," Sirius smiled despite being in pain. Bucky chuckled and stepped back from him. Just as Remus appeared with Natasha and Alexi, the latter of the three doubled over and gagged as if he was about to vomit. Sirius made a face.
"Do that in front of me, and I'll hex you." Sirius threatened, then groaned in pain. "When Harry got shot in the leg, he didn't act like it hurt, he was even walking on it. How? When I can barely move without causing myself horrible pain."
"Harry was likely in shock." Remus reasoned. "Come on, we'll get you back to the jet and fix you up."
"How where we in there, and then suddenly out here" Alexi demanded, he turned to Sirius. "What was that ball of light you threw at the cafeteria doors? Why would you break me out?" He looked at Bucky. "Did Hydra send you?" The question caused Bucky to flinch.
"Relax, we are here to save your life," Remus said, turning towards him.
"What?" Alexi asked, frowning.
"As Remus told you, we are here to save your life," Natasha said. "We'll explain everything when we get out of here."
"Natasha." He said. "I appreciate you were coming for me, but…." he was cut off when something flew overhead. They all looked up. "Those are people on brooms…what.."
"Come on," Remus said, "We need to go before we are seen." He grabbed Shostakvo's arm and started dragging him towards the woods, and Natasha followed, but Sirius looked behind him at the prison.
"Loki will be fine," Bucky said. Sirius turned forward and then winched as pain shot through his arm, and he held it closer to him. "Do you need help? I could carry you."
Bucky asked the last part in a voice that suggested he rather not have to carry Sirius, but would if he needed him too, but Sirius shook his head.
"No, I can walk," Sirius said as he looked at the prison one last time before heading towards the woods, Bucky walking beside him. By the time they reached the clearing in the middle where the Quinjet was parked, Sirius was in so much pain and lost so much blood that Bucky had to help him walk, thankfully, he didn't have to carry him, though Bucky secretly thought it was a miracle Sirius was still conscious.
"What happened?" Tony asked, watching as Bucky helped a pale Sirius into a seat and then helped him take his leather jacket off, tossed it into the seat next to him, and demanded the first aid kit.
"A guard shot him." Remus explained, immediately going to Sirius to have a look, now that his jacket was off, he could see how bad it really was.
"The bullet went right through and didn't hit anything important, I don't think." Bucky said, "he got lucky."
"Lucky?" Sirius demanded, "Yeah, I feel real fucking lucky."
"Sirius, watch your mouth," Remus said. Clint got out of the pilot seat, reached under a passenger seat and pulled out a bag, and handed it to Remus. "Thanks….Padfoot, take off your shirt."
Remus sat the bag in the seat next to Sirius and started rummaging through it while Bucky helped Sirius take off his t-shirt. Remus pulled a wooden box out of the bag and opened it. The wooden box was full of potions; Remus pulled one out and handed it to Sirius.
"A pain potion," Remus explained. Sirius popped the cork off and downed it, then handed the vial back to Remus, who gave him another one. "It's a Blood Replenishing Potion. You look like you're about to faint."
"Nah, my magic is holding me up," Sirius assured him, popping the cork on the second Vial and downed it too, before handing it back to Remus, and immediately his color started to return.
"You know, doing that is dangerous," Remus said, putting the wooden box back in the bag.
"You sound like Reigny," Sirius told him.
"I do not." Remus denied, pulling out gauze and bandages. Bucky stepped out of the way so that Remus could get to Sirius. At that moment, Thor climbed onto the jet.
"Loki did it," Thor announced, "He told me to return to the jet. He just wanted to make sure guards found the body."
"I'd like to know where the hell Loki got a body to turn into Shostakvo," Clint said, climbing back in the pilot seat. "He better not have killed some innocent person."
"He didn't," Sirius said, feeling annoyed. Thor glanced at him, about to demand answers, but he saw all the blood on Sirius and his eyes widened.
"What happened?" Thor said, walking over to Sirius. he pulled back the bandages to look, and Remus smacked his hand away.
"A guard shot him," Tony said, "Bullet went right through."
"My brother will not be happy about this," Thor warned. Sirius snorted.
"He won't be happy?" Sirius demanded. "I'm the one with a hole in my shoulder, I'm covered in blood, and my jacket is ruined."
"And you're cranky," Thor observed. Sirius glared at him.
"Loki will heal you when he gets here, Padfoot." Remus soothed, "And a repair charm should fix your jacket."
"Where is your pocket watch?" Thor asked.
"In my jacket pocket," Sirius said, "Why?" He watched Thor, suspiciously as he started going through his jacket pockets.
"Tony Stark," Alexi said, who up until then had been watching them quietly. "Thor and the Hawkguy."
"Hawkeye," Natasha said, and Alexi stepped over to her and put his hands on either side of her face.
"Natasha, you came for me at last." Alexi said, "And you got your new friends, the Avengers, to help me. I knew I could count on you."
"You two know each other?" Tony asked as Natasha pushed away from Alexi and walked toward the front of the jet.
"Of course we do," Alexi said, "Natasha, she's my oldest."
"I'm sorry, what?" Sirius asked. "Are you saying you're Natty's dad?"
"That was fake," Natasha said, "All pretend."
"Ah, don't be like that, Natasha," Alexi said, flopping down in a seat, "We should be going, no? Before the guards discover I am gone and come looking for me."
"We're not going any damn where until Loki gets here," Sirius snapped, glaring at the Super Soldier. He had no idea what Natasha meant by him being her dad's pretend, but later once he wasn't in pain, he planned to ask her.
"Why isn't he here?" Alexi asked, looking around the jet.
"Who?" Natasha asked, frowning at Alexi.
"My great adversary," Alexi said, "Captain America."
"You're great adversary?" Tony asked, looking amused.
"Yes, that is what we should have been," Alexi said, "I am Russia's first and only Super Soldier. I should have been more famous than Captain American."
"Sure," Tony said. At that moment, Thor found Sirius's pocket watch and flipped it up.
"Don't call, Reigny, you'll just worry him, I can wait until he gets-"
"Brother," Thor called, ignoring Sirius's plea of not calling him and after a minute a miniature hologram of Loki appeared, hovering over the watch's face.
"Thor, why do you have-"
"Brother." Thor interrupted. "You must get to the jet quickly. A guard shot Sirius."
"What!" Loki screamed in panic, and a second later, he appeared on the jet with a frightened look on his facs, but the moment he saw Sirius sitting there, not looking close to death, relief flooded his face as he shoved Thor out of his way to get to Sirius.
"Thor, I'm going to kill you; you scared me to death," Loki said, gently removing the bandages on Sirius' shoulder so he could see how bad it was and heal him.
"I may not be dying, but it still hurts like a son of a bitch." Sirius said, "Would you please-"
"Of course, darling." Loki laid a hand on both Sirius's wounds, green light flowed from his fingers, and within a minute, Sirius was already feeling relief as the wound closed up, healing itself. "There, all better, now, I'll just go kill me a guard."
"He's already been taken care of him," Sirius said, grabbing Loki's arm and pulling him into the seat next to him. Remus handed him a clean shirt he found in the bag, before zipping it up and putting it back under the seat. Loki used magic to clean the blood off Sirius, and he put on the clean shirt. Then Thor handed Sirius his watch.
"Everyone ready?" Clint asked, closing the jet door. A moment later, he had it in the sky, heading back towards England.
"Hey, Rudolph, how did you get the Death Eaters to think Shostakvo is dead?" Tony asked; he was now sitting across from Loki in a seat next to Alexi.
"I shifted into Shostakvo and went to his cell to wait. All the prisoners were removed, so I had to cast an illusion to make it look like the cells were full when Snape showed up with three other Death Eaters. I allowed him to cast the Killing Curse at me, but before it hit, I concealed my magic as I teleported away while teleporting a body that Sirius and I transfigured into a copy of Shostakvo when he hit the ground. They fled, so I put the body in one of the bunks, shifted into one of the guards, and alerted others to "Shostakvo's body." Hopefully, they'll believe he died of natural causes."
"Where the hell did you get a body?" Clint demanded. "Who did you kill?"
"Nobody that'll be missed," Loki replied. He glanced at Sirius, smiling, and Sirius winked at him. "By the way, I will never shift into anything as disgusting as that again." He motioned towards Alexi.
"Hey, what's with all the insults?" Alexi demanded, "You and I, we can be partners, both great adversaries of the Avengers."
"I beg your pardon?" Loki asked, raising an eyebrow.
"You and I," Alexi said, "Along with the Winter Soldier and you." He looked at Sirius, "Padfoot."
"It's Sirius," Sirius replied. Only those close to him can call him Padfoot.
"I'm not an it," Alexi replied. "And, of course, I'm serious." Sirius and Loki looked at each other with their eyebrows raised. "You, Loki, The Winter Soldier, and I, we can form a team, be the Anti-Avengers."
"No, thank you," Loki replied. Then, he turned his focus on Sirius. "How do you feel?"
"I'm fine," Sirius said, slipping his fingers between Loki's and holding his hand.
"Unfortunately, I could not avoid the injuries leaving scars," Loki said. Sirius frowned for a moment, then shrugged.
"Ah well, maybe I'll get a couple tattoos to cover them up," Sirius mumbled, eyebrows narrowing in thought.
"You have enough tattoos," Loki told him. Sirius just grinned, and realizing they were no longer paying attention to him, Alexi turned his attention to Remus.
"You scrawny man, you can join our team," Alexi said. "How did you stop my punch? Are you a Super Soldier?"
"No," Remus said, looking offended at being called a scrawny man.
"Then how are you so strong," Alexi said. Remus looked at him. He might as well be truthful; they would have to tell him about the wizarding world to explain who wanted him dead, plus they had been using magic in front of him, and he'd be staying at Grimmauld Place for a while, and Remus hated to admit it, but Loki was right. He shouldn't be ashamed of who he was. After all, he's never killed anyone as a werewolf or turned anyone into a werewolf, and he should be proud of that, at least.
"You probably wouldn't believe him if he told you," Natasha said.
"Why?" Alexi demanded. "What is he?"
"Werewolf," Remus answered.
AN: About Sirius knowing a few different languages, I figured it wasn't out of the realm of possibilities that Walburga would force her sons to learn a few so they could interact with pure-blood wizards and witches from other countries, or in case she decided to arrange a marriage for one of her sons to a witch from another country.
The Red Guardian won't be involved with the war with Voldemort, he'll be taken away by SHEILD but will likely play a role even if a small one later in the story. This chapter mainly was to have a little action and show how well Sirius, Remus, and Loki can work with the Avengers.
It may not have been mentioned, but Loki is still helping Sirius learn to control and evolve his mind-stone powers, at least whenever they can find the time, his mind control isn't like using the scepter on someone or even anything like Loki's own mind enchantment abilities. At the moment it's only strong enough to for one person to be under and only for a couple of minutes, just long enough for someone to do what Sirius tells them. And Sirius doesn't care tbh, he doesn't like doing it anyway but will when necessary. So he's not really trying that hard to make it stronger.
I'm trying not to overpower Sirius too much, but he will down the lane and get more abilities, where his are evolving. There is a reason I want characters like Sirius, Remus, and Harry to be more powerful than cannon, while trying to not overpower them too much.
