( 4 weeks after the events of The Gallery . Officer Doggy in casual clothing and The Detective are in the Forest Huddling around a campfire. Both extremely tired. The Detective had a comment.)
Detective:
" I think those Monsters … they were our friends. "
Officer Doggy:
"It's getting late, maybe we should get some rest."
Detective:
Falling asleep, not knowing how things were going to go south quickly.
I heard a dog bark. Was that Officer Doggy? It sounded like he was drinking something. Then I heard glass shatter.
I woke up later. I looked at my watch. Only a couple hours. Still dark out and campfire still going strong. A broken bottle was next to the campfire. Looking around I noticed something. Someone was missing.
I looked down the path, I breathed a sigh of relief. There was Doggy halfway down the path. As I approached I saw something wrong. I have known Doggy since The Alley day. He did not look all there. He also was not holding his favorite Taser, but he was holding an axe instead.
" Doggy??? What happened to you? "
He turned and I saw his eye's. They were glossed over. Just like what I saw in Father's eyes back at The Gallery. He started to growl and raise his Axe. I took off down the path, silently vowing to avenge my best Friend.
Doggy:
The Detective and I layed down. Both extremely tired. But I thought I caught a wiff of something… odd. I then fell asleep. Until…
Pony:
I can't believe Willow sent me with 2 bottles of Substance 128. She wanted revenge on Officer Doggy and The Detective. I kept an eye on them, until it was the right moment. As I saw them both fall asleep, I knew it was time. I was going to poison the Detective first, but Doggy acted like he knew I was there. So I quietly grabbed his head, he let out a surprise bark. I forced the bottle into his mouth and he swallowed the contents, I then layed down the empty bottle. His eyes glossed over. He was infected. That was quick. I better run before he comes to. In my panic I dropped the other bottle and it broke. So I ran off, never to work with Silver Paws again. Willow was out of her mind.
Detective:
I ran back towards the campfire. I saw a broken bottle and a unbroken bottle. The unbroken bottle was empty. Heck I would not have been able to determine what was in it anyway. I ran past the Campfire and found a set of buildings. The first building had a Green Lock. Sadly I remember throwing the Green Key to Officer Doggy so he could open the Green Lock, at the Gallery. I hope I am able to cure him before its too late. I made a left and ran into another set of cabins. This one seemed to have been used. The ground looks as if there was a scuffle. And what looks like a broken Cell Phone with Blood all over the pieces.
Camping Couple:
Male:
"I can't believe those cops arrested us. There was no R.A.S. ( Reasonable Articulable Suspicion.), and when they showed us the paperwork, that was all about their rules, not our law."
Female:
"Cras, heck with that, I can't believe when they brought out the handcuffs, you manhandled me and threw me into the cops. All the while you proved what a coward you are by running away."
"Good thing I started seeing Rage, she said that some homeless have gone missing around here. Knowing her, she probably caused most of it herself."
"You should get a real job Cras. This fake Journalism crap won't take you very far."
Male:
"Just cause you named yourself out of a Popular Southern Drink, does not make you the Belle of the ball."
They both heard the handle trying to turn. Cras opened the cabin door. And see's….. nothing. They were about to go back in when they saw a glint in the center of where all cabins met. He and Mint Julip explored the center of the cabins. Then take the forever sleep as they are hit from behind.
Sheepy was walking around when she noticed 2 campers entering a cabin. She noticed they locked the door when she tried the handle. It also seemed to stir a nest of some type. As she walked around, she dropped the Green Key in the middle of the cabin ground. She hid behind the cabin and saw them exit. As they moved towards the Green Key, she walked behind them. She swung her sledgehammer and took them both out in 1 swing. She saw an open cabin across from the door with the Red Lock on it. She took the Green Key and put it in there. And shut the door. She went to use the hammer on the Red Lock when she heard moaning from the couple she hit. So she walked to them, and drug them off into the woods. Never to be heard from again.
Detective:
Looking at what was obviously a struggle, probably even death. I knew I had to have help. And the best partner I ever had us now one of these things. I just hope he does nothing he can't go back from. But it was too late. I just didn't know.
Narrator:
The hunt was on for the elusive Samsquatch. Last seen in the forest of Lucella Island. 2 Hunters were walking around. J. Latho and his best friend Sean Paula. They went to lock the gate by their tent. J. Handed the Orange Key to Sean Paula and told her to hide it. She returned and he used the Orange Lock to lock the gate. They went into the tent to fall asleep. 1 hour later they heard a noise outside. They got up and got dressed, J. opened the tent, shotgun at the ready. As he went around the tent He saw it. The Samsquatch was just outside the fence. He took aim and fired. The shotgun was powerful, knocked out his dentures. Also the Yellow Key he found earlier out of his pocket. The sound of the shotgun had awoken a beast.
Doggy:
A loud noise echoed throughout The Forest. The husk that was once Doggy followed it to the source. He saw two shapes trying to leave a fenced area. The one shape lifted a long metal tube at Doggy. And a clicking sound came out. But if it was supposed to do anything to Doggy, it did not. It was then Doggy took aim with the Axe he was carrying. Destroying the Tube. The shapes threw the 2 pieces away. The one shape lifted a smaller box and seemed to be making other noises. Doggy did not understand their questions about jurisdiction and he slashed at their shapes with his axe. A small part was knocked off the one holding making the noise. The noise ended. Placing his axe into the other shape He dragged the lifeless bodies into the woods and took Samsquatches' body deep into the woods.
Detective:
I heard the gunshot, it sounded louder than the pistol. I walked in the direction but only saw a shotgun that was destroyed, behind a gate that had an Orange Lock. Again a lot of blood and drag marks heading into the woods. I looked around and saw no Orange Key. But there was a Yellow Key behind the gate. Just out of reach. I saw a cabin near the gate. I opened the door and saw the Orange Key. I grabbed it and went back to the gate. I opened the gate and traded the Orange Key for the Yellow Key. I also looked in the tent and saw nothing that I needed. Looking around I saw a Watchtower in the distance. A new destination. I started towards it, and tripped over a wooden plank. I dropped the Yellow Key and grabbed that plank. I looked next to me and it was a Cabin with a Blue Lock. I am tired of these color coded locks and keys. Carrying the plank I started back towards the Watchtower. As I got near the Watchtower I noticed a large gate with boards and Panel Locks with 3 red lights, and another White Lock. I started heading up the stairs to the tower. I was still holding the plank incase Doggy showed up to protect myself. As I neared the top I saw a plank was missing to reach the top. The Plank I carried was a perfect fit. There goes the protection. As I placed it I heard a sound below me. I looked down and saw an old friend Sheepy. Moving like Doggy and Father. I am not happy. All my friends are turning into these… things. So I went to the top and saw, a safe with the Yellow Lock, and a Hammer. I grabbed the Hammer and saw a hole in the floor. I looked down and saw Sheepy walk by. As I saw her entering the tower I dropped down the hole and landed on the plank below. I started down fast. Jumping the last story to the ground. I ran towards the gate and used the Hammer to tear down the boards. I started looking for where I dropped the Yellow Key. But saw Sheepy landed on the ground. So I took off to the left. Running around the corner I noticed a seating area next to a big rock that would make a nice Cave. As I ran past, I saw it looked like a Cave that was boarded up. Looking behind me I saw nothing. So I tore down the boards quickly. And saw some wood in a campfire scenario next to a block of Ice. I looked at the Ice and saw what looked like a White Key inside. Great they want to make this tougher. Hearing a noise behind me I saw Sheepy blocking the entrance. I saw nothing to use so I threw the Hammer at my old friend. Hitting her directly in the forehead. She fell back, and I escaped. I ran back towards the Watchtower and looked for the Yellow Key. I found it where I tripped over the Plank. I then ran up the Watchtower and used the Yellow Key on the safe. As I went to take the Yellow Key out I found it was stuck . I did not want to fight the situation so I looked in the safe. In there I found a Wrench. Looking down I saw No-one. So I started back down. As I arrived at the gate I used the Wrench on the Panel Locks like before. It did not work. To the right I heard a alarming Bark. I looked over and saw Doggy. He had blood on him. I knew then it may have been too late. I hope I was wrong. So I took off to the left. Before I turned the corner I looked at the building next to me and saw a Panel Lock. I tried the Wrench on this lock. It went from Red to Green. But nothing opened. So I took off again. I went around past the Cave area. Sheepy was gone. Did she get up? Or did Doggy take her? I looked and saw no drag marks. So I guessed she got up. Going back in the area of the first set of Cabins I saw an cabin with a Red Lock on it and a Cabin without a lock on it. So I opened that door. In it I found a Green Key. I remembered passing a Green Lock earlier. So I took the Green Key. As I stood up I dropped the Wrench. I would come back and get it later. I ran back to the Green Lock. I unlocked the Green Lock and went into the cabin and found a Red Key. OK this is interesting. I took the Red Key and headed back to the Red Lock. I unlocked the Red Lock, and saw another Panel Lock. I ran back to where I got the Green Key. I grabbed the Wrench I left there. And went back to the Panel Lock. I used the Wrench and the light went from Red to Green. I wonder. So I ran back to the gate. As I arrived I saw what I suspected. 2 of the red lights were now Green. Just had to find the third Panel Lock. As I turned to my left I saw Sheepy. Head still had an indent in her head from where the Hammer hit. I started backing up when I heard a familiar Bark. I turned around and saw Doggy. He started towards me as did Sheepy. I looked around, and was able to run around Sheepy. I felt wind by my face as she swung her Sledgehammer at me missing me by inches. I ran back to the Cave and explored it a little more. I found a Torch. I grabbed it dropping the Wrench, and headed back to where I slept. I used the Torch on the Campfire to relight the Torch. Taking the relit torch I ran back to the Cave. I lit the Campfire and the Ice block started melting. I was correct. The Ice Block held the White Key. And with the fire burning I saw some Pistol ammo. I grabbed the cold White Key, and headed back to the gate. I saw Doggy still looking around the area, and I unlocked the White Lock. The White Key was still cold so it got stuck in the White Lock. As the White Lock hit the ground I saw Doggy turn around and let out his Warning Bark. I then took off back to the Cave to get the Wrench. There was 1 more cabin I wanted to look into. As I got to the cabin I opened the door. I saw a safe with a Purple Lock on it and the third Panel Lock. I used the Wrench on the Panel and as it went from Red to Green it shocked me. I dropped the Wrench. It's ok I do not think I needed it again. Heading back toward the Gate I noticed a glint coming from a sleeping bag near a busted cabin. I went over and saw a Purple Key. What the heck? So I took the Purple Key over to the safe and opened it. Inside was my gun. I need to stop losing this. I held the gun and saw some ammo near the Cabin across the way so I grabbed it and loaded it into the gun. I then started heading back to the gate. I grabbed the ammo in the cave loading it into my gun and rounded the corner and saw a scary sight. Sheepy and Doggy were both guarding the gate. I knew what I had to do. No matter how much it hurt. These were both friends of mine. I aimed and shot Sheepy in the head and she went down. Doggy looked at Sheepy and then looked at me growling. With tears in my eyes I shot Doggy in the head. As I watched him fall I ran between them. As I exited the Gate I turned around and said my last goodbyes.
Walking down the path away from the forest I heard a voice. Running that way I found a bench with a walkie-talkie. From the Talkie I heard the voice speaking again.
Mysterious Voice:
"Hello? Is anyone out there?"
The Detective picked up the Walkie-talkie and raised it to his mouth to respond.
