Happy Our Flag Means Death October! I want to write a couple of these but I thought I'd start short and sweet with a bit of my Lucius and Jim friendship agenda.
The others will be much of the same probably lol. I also have a modern-day AU and if I don't get to publish any of that this month then you should read "Matching Costumes" which is my modern Halloween fic.
Lucius hadn't wasted any time getting back on Jim's good side and he intended to stay there. The knife thing had just been a stab in the dark, so to speak, but now that Jim was no longer threatening to kill him he had another idea that was sure to work.
His plan was simple, he didn't even need to do anything to prepare. All he had to do was wait for someone to ask where he'd been.
Black Pete, the adorable fool that he was, was the first to take the bait.
"Hey, I haven't seen you around lately, are you okay?" Lucius thought it was sweet he was asking.
"Oh, wonderful. I was just getting to know Jim better. He's not a great conversationalist, but he's got the body of a Greek god… Do you want to see the sketch I did of him?"
Black Pete nodded without hesitation.
Lucius produced a picture, allowing Black Pete and a few other stragglers to ooh and ah.
The rumor, that Silent Jim had a massive dick, spread itself from there.
Which meant, of course, that it eventually got right back to Jim.
Jim didn't get a chance to confront Lucius right away, though, because the ship was too busy being attacked. After that, the rumors and the very convincing sketch didn't do much good. The truth was out.
Once the crew was fairly confident that they weren't going to die, Jim cornered Lucius.
"Did you tell people I have a big dick?"
"No. I showed them a picture and let them infer the rest. I did say you have a body like a Greek god, but I stand by that one."
"So you drew a fake, realistic penis just to convince the others I was a man?"
"No, of course not. I showed them a picture of my ex's penis. That thing was bigger than his brain," Lucius chuckled.
"And you just keep a sketch of it with you at all times?"
"Think of it as an advertisement for my services. Pete has already requested a private sketching. You're welcome, by the way."
Jim just stared at him, before turning and walking away. And since Jim wasn't trying to kill him, Lucius was pretty sure he'd succeeded in staying on their good side.
