"H-HELP!"

A civilian yelled for help as the Time Eater is terrorizing the city once more. Its sudden reappearance shook the whole city and scared people into running for the hills. Only the Huntress in Black is around to stop its rampage, blasting it relentlessly with her rifle axe from a rooftop. Her attacks did nothing to harm it, just earn its roaring wrath and force her to leap toward another rooftop mere seconds before the temporal terror obliterated her old building with a simple claw swipe.

"HEADS UP!"

Coming to aid the Huntress are both Amazing Spider-Man and Modern Sonic. The Web Warrior zips through the air whilst extending a webline holding a spinballing Sonic far behind him. He then snaps him back, launching the Blue Blur as a spectacular speed bullet that startles the Time Eater into fleeing through a Time Hole instead of tanking the combo attack.

"Thanks, Spider-Man…" A grateful civilian said to his savior before watching him swing away.

Both Sonic and Spidey reunite with the Hooded Huntress on the rooftop, while the hedgehog jokes, "Slippery guy, isn't he. Always having enough time to run away." The Huntress decides to leave her new friends again without uttering a word, only this time she is halted by Sonic casually calling her out, "Hold up there, Summer. Guess it's true you have a habit of leaving without saying goodbye."

Exposed, the Huntress in Black is left with no choice but to come clean with her true identity. She removes her hood and cloak, revealing herself to be Summer Rose in a red dress. Ruby's Mother. The time-displaced Former Leader of Team STRQ. "I suppose it was only a matter of time 'til I was figured out. Didn't think it'd be you two first." Summer admitted to the dimensional duo.

"We are good friends with your daughters. They told us stories about you." Peter said.

"Do they know?" Summer sternly asked, wondering if they told her daughters about her presence here.

"Not yet. We were on our way to that Gate over there." Peter answered, pointing at the locked Boss Gate nearby. "Why haven't you talked to them yet? You've been helping around the city for a while." He then asked.

"I was afraid our meeting would ruin the timeline more than it already is." Summer claimed.

"No way you can make it any worse. They've already made friends with themselves." Sonic quipped. "There's more to this secrecy, is there? Has something to do with your final mission?" He asked, sensing Summer is hiding a big secret from them, friends and family alike.

BGM-Tekken 5 OST- Destined Interlude ~ Sad Conclusion

Summer looks down with a face filled with sombering guilt as her way of admitting the hedgehog is right. With a melancholy vocal tone, she finally decides to explain her past, "…I lied to my family. Left my kids while they were asleep and told Tai it'd be just a typical mission. I was on my way to meet someone when I got dragged here, waking up from being a statue to find my kids all grown up. I knew if we talked, they'd start asking questions. Questions I can't answer."

"Can't? Or won't?" Sonic remarked sternly.

"Same thing." Summer responded, before continuing, "I hid my identity to watch them from afar and protect them if they're in danger. I know it's not enough to make up for abandoning them when they needed me the most."

"I know what you mean. All too well." Peter sympathized, since his secret life as a superhero jeopardizes his relationships with friends and family alike. "And sometimes we have to face the consequences of our actions. You left your family heartbroken. They think you're dead. No one knows what really happened to Summer Rose in our time." He informed her of her future.

"I had no intention of leaving them for years. Guess some things didn't go as planned." Summer frowned.

"Were you planning to fight Salem? We know Ozpin told Team STRQ all about her." Sonic asked her another question.

Scowling just from hearing that witch's name, Summer retorts, "She's definitely on my bucket list of things I want to take care of. But sorry, I can't say any more of my secret mission. Don't get me wrong, it's not because I don't trust you two. It's just…"

"It's okay. We respect your privacy." Peter intervened, kindly gesturing her to stop talking.

"'Sides, this is an issue you have to resolve with your family. The two of us have our hands full with the Time Eater." Sonic grinned.

"That's right. I heard from the Future Venom that the Time Eater isn't perfect yet. Apparently it's been using the Time Breakers to buy itself time to grow stronger." Summer told them of what she learned during her fight with Venom 2099.

BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Proof of Strength

"It's not even in its final form? Then we NEED to hustle! Wanna help out, Grandma?" Peter teased the senior huntress.

Summer chuckles at his smart mouth, "Nah. It would get tiring taking the hits for you kids. Figure this is something you gotta do for yourself." She then gives them some words of wisdom, Time catches up to us all and we won't be as amazing as we were. Whether I'm dead or alive in your time doesn't matter. It's the duty of all seniors to entrust the new era to the next generation. I'm counting on you. Please protect my family."

"Got it! At least say hi to them before we wrap things up." Peter retorted, promising her with a thumbs up.

"We'll see." Summer smiled, returning a thumbs up of her own.

Dimensions' Finest then leave Summer to activate the Boss Gate using the three Keys they earned from the last Time Breakers. "Let's see what's behind door number two!" Sonic smiled, eager for some fun. The Gate fully opens, allowing the two heroes to jump right through it while being watched by Summer from her roof.

'Ruby. Yang. You two have made wonderful friends. I have nothing to worry about anymore.' Summer thought with a pleasant smile, putting on back her hooded black cloak before leaving to continue patrolling the city from the shadows.

Crisis City Zone.

The Boss Gate transported Sonic and Spider-Man back to Crisis City, where the two travel along a lengthy highway road and observe the familiar territory. "Back here again. Wonder who we'll meet here." Modern Sonic wondered.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST- Rival Battle: Silver the Hedgehog

Just in the nick of time, both heroes sense a car thrown at their backs that forces them to evade. Dozen more cars are hurled at them by a powerful psychic force, all of them just narrowly missing the heroes possessing insane reflexes to dodge them before stylishly continuing their run. Sonic looks at their assailant and is surprised to realize it is, "Silver?!" The psychic time-traveling hero from the future, Silver the Hedgehog, is their latest rival to face. And just like others, this rival has a partner.

Out of nowhere, a blitzing punch sends Spider-Man flying into a ruined building. He comes to in time to defend himself from a furious assault of another Spider. Scarlet Spider. The Strongest Spider-Clone with a bad attitude. "Scarlet Spider?! Why are you and Silver trying to kill us? Have you lost your minds?" Peter asked, receiving nothing but a brutal uppercut that smashes him through ceilings, until he's high above the building while Scarlet ricochets off the falling debris to follow him.

"Shut up, you imposter!" roared Scarlet Spider, delivering another brutal attack in the form of a dropkick that flings Peter through multiple buildings at vicious speeds.

"Imposter? Last I check, you're the clone!" snarked Spidey, recovering in midair in time to web throw his approaching clone onto the highway, where he avoids being run over by Sonic and regroups with the flying Silver holding a car with his Psychokinesis.

"Silver! Is that really you?" Sonic asked the time traveler.

"I should be asking you the same thing. Are you another fake sent to destroy us?!" Silver interrogated.

"A fake? How gullible. You two must've been fighting evil variants of us sent by the Time Eater to trick you." Sonic said, quickly deducing the Time Eater orchestrated this rival battle.

"Shut up with your nonsense! You'll go down the same way we destroyed the others! Don't expect any mercy!" Scarlet angrily threatened the heroes.

"Oh brother. Kaine's impossible to reason with when he's this mad and Silver is as naïve as ever." Peter sweatdropped.

"We'll just have to prove ourselves by beating them!" Sonic declared.

The rival battle against Silver and Scarlet Spider, with the former flying ahead and the latter swinging around. The psychic hedgehog starts things up by picking up a broken cab and throwing it at Sonic, who sidesteps away from it. Silver tries the tactic again, this time lifting several objects one at a time. Before they are launched at him, Sonic bounces off of them using his Homing Attack to reach and hit his rival. Silver skims the road before teleporting himself to somewhere Sonic can't find him readying another attack. A shadow casts over the blue hedgehog who quickly dodges the object manipulated to crush him. Then he dodges another of the same caliber. Silver reappears throwing a large Psychic Knife that Sonic also avoids, but that was to trick him into being crushed by the third and hidden debris object.

"Can't keep me crushed for long!" taunted Sonic, unleashing explosive power to free himself from that predicament.

"Then I'll just ram you off the road!" retorted Silver, manipulating the surrounding debris into creating a large makeshift ram that charges at his blue rival. Sonic manages to jump onto it and boost forward, getting close enough to Silver in order to Spin Attack him and frustrating him to fight harder.

Meanwhile, the Spider-Brothers have taken their sibling showdown to the walls of a ruined skyscraper. Kaine is basically a dark reflection of Peter that matches him in both abilities and skill, with none of their attacks being any effective on each other. "Just like you to give me a workout. But I'm on a schedule, so let's wrap this up with a little Spider-Fu." joked Peter, utilizing his Way of the Spider karate moves in hopes of ending this fight with his dark clone.

Attacking his pressure points with the full power of a spider doesn't seem to be working on Kaine as he easily catches a kick and throws him across the street, causing him to crash into an office building. "The REAL Spider-Man loved showing that off to the point it was hard NOT to pay attention." snarked Kaine, zipping into the building with a flying punch that his brother just barely avoids by clinging to a wall.

"Then lemme try something else and see if you'll love it." Spidey taps into his blue X-Aura to empower his Maximum Spider technique. He strikes his bro with a diving kick, bouncing from wall to wall while ensnaring him in webbing caused by his flying punches and kicks. Before his powerful stomp connects however, Kaine frees himself with an explosion of his own crimson X-Aura that repels his annoying brother and targets him with a hellish fireball barrage thanks to his Hellweb X-Semblance. His flames burn the building around them, with one fireball countered by Peter's web shield that seamlessly morphs into a web ball to restrain Kaine. But as the Hero-Spider goes to pummel him, the Shadow Arachnid once again unbinds him with four organic spider-arms erupting from his back to stab his rival in various painful places, causing him to scream in agony.

'Too strong…Need to use the environment against him.' X-Aura Peter realized, noting his brother is stronger, faster, and more ruthless than him.

Quickly, Peter throws a large office table at his clone, who had no trouble smashing it to pieces. "Was that your best, weakling?" Kaine mocked him.

"No." Peter then attaches weblines to the floor underneath his brother, stating, "This is!", before ripping it apart and causing him to fall down from the top floor of this skyscraper. Peter goes the extra mile by stomping on Kaine to make certain he crashes through every floor while the building around them collapses. When it looks like his bro had enough, Spidey swings out of the building to reunite with Sonic just after he pushed Silver to his limit.

"You almost done with Silver?" Spidey asked his friend.

"Almost. Did you really have to drop a building on Kaine?" Sonic asked.

"Have you met him? Did that to just give myself a breather. He's not gonna go down that easy." Peter snarked.

Spidey is right. That outmaneuvering only served to make Scarlet Spider reach his boiling point. From beneath the rubble erupts a massive flaming pillar that scatters the skyscraper debris, shooting out one large fireball that crashes at the end of the highway the heroes are traveling on. Where there was once smoke was dispersed ferociously by the roar of a hooded Man-Spider in Kaine's costume. This is Scarlet Tarantula. Kaine's mutated form caused by the second power of his X-Semblance, his Spider-Out power. "RRROOOAAAAAAWWWWWR!" Scarlet Tarantula roared monstrously at the dimensional heroes.

"See? Quod erat demonstrandum! Sometimes I wonder if that power really is from his Semblance." Spidey quipped at Sonic.

Scarlet Tarantula spits out large fireballs that the heroes struggle to avoid, with one attack burning Spidey's webline and forcing him to run alongside Sonic. Not made easy when they're distracted by numerous debris being gathered behind them, startled to see it is Silver using his psychokinetic powers to mash them all into a colossal sphere of wreckage. "This will finish you! METEOR SMASH!" shouted Silver, throwing the ball as it rolls after his enemies.

"YOU'RE GOING STRAIGHT TO HELL!" Scarlet threatened, rampaging toward his enemies like a wild animal caught aflame while being aided by Silver trying to crush the heroes with a large container.

"Talk about being caught between a rock and a hard place!" joked Sonic, knowing they have moments to figure out a way to counter all these insane attacks from multiple directions.

"This'll be close! Let's trip 'em up!" Spidey suggested his final plan.

"Got it!" Sonic complied.

Just as Silver is ready to crush them to defeat, Peter webs his face to not just blind him but disrupt his concentration on his container. He accidently tosses it aside and leaves himself open to being Homing Attacked by Sonic. The psychic hedgehog falls to the ground, with Kaine too blinded by fury to notice that he's in the way. "Watch your step!" Sonic playfully warned him. The Spider-Clone didn't listen, and as punishment, humorously trips on Silver and gets crushed by his partner's own Meteor Smash that collapses immediately after. The heroes stop running to see their rivals have fallen. Once again, they have claimed an awesome victory in a rival battle, certified by sharing a laughing bro-fist.

Took a moment for Silver to peel the webbing off his face while Kaine groans beneath the massive pile of rubble of that Meteor Smash. His body returned to its human form, smashing a hand out of the rubble for Spider-Man to hold so he may pull him out. "Real enough for you now?" Peter teased his brotherly clone.

"I guess. Only the real Sonic and Spider-Man can be THIS annoying." Scarlet Spider snarked, finally believing they are the real deal.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Hub: Silver

"Sorry about that, guys. It's like Sonic said. We've been fighting evil fakes of you ever since we got trapped here. Some of them were very convincing." said Silver, sheepishly apologizing to the friends they were tricked to fight.

"It's okay. We're just glad you're safe. The Time Eater is getting desperate if it's staging fights against us." Sonic brushed off his apology.

"The timeline isn't going to last much longer. How can we help?" Silver asked.

And just like in the previous rival battle, a Time Hole cracks open before them because of their intense battling weakening the barrier between dimensions. "Right on cue. Use this portal to head back to New York. Protect it while Sonic and I get to the bottom of this." Spidey tasked their rivals.

"Alright! Good luck!" Silver nodded, before jumping through the portal.

"This is my punishment for coming to your party." Scarlet said stoically, revealing he was also invited to Peter's birthday party.

"I didn't see you there." Peter responded.

"I was running late. Was hoping it wasn't too late to trade for a lamer present." Kaine snarked.

"You got me a gift! You really DO like me!" Peter retorted, happily hugging his clone.

Feeling embarrassed, Kaine pushes his brother away and snaps at him, "Go save the day already, punk!", before exiting through the portal himself. Peter chuckles, glad to know his clone cares about him in his own way, before both he and Sonic go through the portal that will transport them to their next destination.

Manhattan, White Space.

Silver and Scarlet Spider emerge from the Boss Gate and arrive in Manhattan safe and sound. "The timestream is in worse shape than I thought. I can't believe the city has been trapped in this world." said Silver, looking at the sky to see the city is trapped in White Space.

"Won't stay like this for long. Not with those two on the job." Scarlet Spider assured him, cross-armed and confident in Sonic and Spidey's abilities to save the timeline.

"Right. At this point, they're our best hope in saving history." Silver wholeheartedly agreed with him.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Cutscene 5

Nearby, a dimensional group consisting of Spider-Man 2099, Classic Sonic, Blaze, Tiki, and Hummingbird are yet seen approaching the new arrivals. "I knew that was him I felt! SCARLET SPIDER!" The psychic Hummingbird shouted, happily running to greet her guardian.

"Aracely! Tiki!" Kaine noticed them with a relieved expression, accepting his friend's hug without argue.

"Welcome back, my love. We were so worried about you." Tiki smiled warmly at her boyfriend.

"I'm sorry." Kaine solemnly apologized for his long absence.

"It is alright. We are together again and that is all that matters." Tiki said, as the spider-dragon couple embrace with a heartwarming hug.

"Good to see you are unharmed, Silver." Blaze smiles at her good friend from the future.

"Thanks, Blaze. It's so good to see you again." Silver retorted, sharing the smile.

"Wish it was under better circumstances." Blaze frowned.

"Any reunion is best reunion." Classic Sonic quipped, surprising the silver hedgehog with his presence.

"Huh? Sonic and Spider-Man? You're back already?" The naïve Silver thought.

"No. These two are our allies from different time periods. This Sonic is from the past and this Spider-Man is from the future." Blaze introduced the new arrivals to the other two members of Team SSSS.

"200 years in the future?" Silver questioned his fellow time traveler.

"About a century less than that." Spider-Man 2099 quipped.

"A Spider-Man from the future, huh. Who would've thought someone else would wear the mask." Kaine commented.

"I've heard about you. You're the Scarlet Spider Successor. History claims you're the Strongest Spider possessing the strength of demons." Miguel said to his fellow spider.

"Sounds accurate." Kaine remarked dryly.

"It's an honor to meet you. You're the perfect person to ask this." Miguel said, wanting to get something off his chest.

"What is it?" The stoic Scarlet responded.

"The original Scarlet Spider is just as much a legend in my time as Spider-Man. Who was once created to be a weapon of revenge became a true hero then died as one. Do you find it difficult living up to his legacy?" asked Miguel, subtly expressing his own doubts of living up to the legend of Spider-Man.

"Every damn day. This hero shit is the worst job in the world. Always gotta make sacrifices and endure the criminals that refuse to stay down." Kaine answered with typical apathy.

"Then why do you bother if it's too much to handle? Why did you become Scarlet Spider?" Miguel then asked.

"Because I had to! Part of the reason is redemption. I've done things I'm not proud of and I doubt my sins will ever be absolved. It's also because that without me, people would lose their lives, and I've seen my share of death. Whether I like it or not, my time needs a Scarlet Spider. Just like your time needs a Spider-Man. If we give up, those legends end. We disgrace the memory of our predecessors and everyone lose hope." Kaine explained wisely to his brother's successor.

Miguel takes a moment to process his words, before stating, "…Your era will definitely be fine as long as you two Spider-Brothers are around. You have heart."

"I don't know about that." The humble Kaine scoffed, before asking him a question, "Why did you become Spider-Man anyway?"

"Same general reason as you. And…because of your brother." Miguel answered.

"Nice to know some things don't change." Kaine smiled, respecting this future webslinger.

"How were our counterparts doing anyway?" Classic asked Silver.

"Fine. They should be close to a clue where the Time Eater is." Silver replied.

"They could use backup if that's the case. I'll contact the Tailses and Team RWBY and see if they can lend a hand." Miguel responded, filled with greater determination to be the best Spider-Man the future needs.

BGM-Sonic Generations OST-Boss Battle: Egg Dragoon

After leaving Crisis City, the portal warped Modern Sonic and Amazing Spider-Man to a long circular tunnel underneath a devilish theme park that the hedgehog should be familiar with. "I have a bad feeling about this place." Amazing Spider-Man expressed.

"I think this is Eggmanland. Eggman's dream city that he made using Dark Gaia." Modern Sonic remembered. "Be careful. There's trouble around every corner." He said this, right before a fire beam cuts past him that gets him joking, "Or just right behind us."

Both heroes look back to find themselves being chased by a large mechanical dragon. Piloted by one very familiar Doctor Eggman. This is his Egg Dragoon, designed specifically to destroy Sonic the Hedgehog. The giant mech goes to fly in front of the heroes, distracting them away from his partner in this battle. Doctor Octopus from the main timeline, nearly ambushing them with a tentacle whip that Spidey sensed and swings Sonic away from, only for Eggman to cut the webline with his missile drill. The two fell back to the ground, running while now pursuing Ock joining Eggman's sinister front.

"Well, well, if it isn't our old friends that left us to rot in space. Sonic and Spider-Man." Doctor Octopus coldly greeted his enemies.

"Sorry kids, but the park is closed for demolition of some wannabe do-gooders." Eggman sinisterly threatened from within the safety of his Egg Dragoon.

"Eggman and Ock. Comes at no shock that you two would be lastminute Time Breakers." Sonic mocked his returning nemeses.

"Time Breakers? What the devil are you talking about?" Eggman retorted, expressing ignorance.

"Weren't you kidnapped to work for the Time Eater?" The confused Sonic questioned.

"I don't work for anyone! That beast's power will be ours! As soon as you two are squashed!" Eggman threatened, toggling from the body to the tail cockpit.

Doc Ock jumps in time for the Egg Dragoon to fire harmful ice waves at the heroic runners. Both jump over it, with Spidey returning to his web swinging fun as he closes in to attack Eggman. That attempt was neutralized by Ock, crawling on the ceiling above his partner and firing a tentacle laser that cuts the Webslinger's webline. "No web swinging for you. Our coordination has strengthened since you last fought us." Ock mocked him.

"Don't think you're special in that department." Spidey quipped, landing on grind rails and webbing Ock's defensive tentacles so his Web Strike could land on his chest. And while he falls, he dodges another Drill Attack from Eggman, retaliating with a web-thrown Sonic that damages his mech.

"Something's not right. We know Eggman was kidnapped, but not you, Octavius. Start babbling!" Spidey demanded.

"About what? You accuse me of the Time Eater's rampage across time?" Ock remarked, removing the webbing from his tentacles so they can bombard the arena with powerful shockwaves.

"It's been attacking our personal histories and we have proof it's being controlled and on its way into being perfected! Only you two would be crazy enough to pull off a scheme like this!" Spidey accused, while the heroes stylishly dodge his shockwaves.

"I'm flattered. Unfortunately, that creature is a mystery to us as well." retorted Ock, while his partner fires another Drill Attack.

"You're kidding." Sonic refuses to believe him, whilst sidestepping away from the missile drill.

"We're not clowns, unlike the both of you." Ock then catches the drill with a tentacle, "Even our combined genius is not enough to perfect its form. But we have been using our time here to track its movements.", before throwing the explosive weapon at the heroes' back that knocks them into the air.

"You know where it's hiding?" Spidey counters their combo by using Sonic as a jumping box, so both could dodge the next Drill Attack and Spidey can reflect it with a swift Web Throw that further damages the Egg Dragoon.

Irritated, Eggman growls, "I suppose we can tell you this much. It is hiding in a cross-dimensional gateway that has access to every era. A Nexus of All Realities, you can call it. From there, no timeline is beyond its reach. We just located the entrance to its dimension when you so rudely interrupted us."

"Tell us where it is! If you AREN'T working for the Time Eater, help us stop it! Your histories are in danger too!" Sonic argued, wanting to call a temporary truce.

"We have enough help, thank you! The Time Eater is OURS to conquer!" Eggman claimed ominously, before proclaiming, "Time for a change of pace!"

The Doctors change position. While Eggman moves to the side, Ock jumps down from the ceiling to confront the heroes personally this time. He strikes with tentacles that keep up with their speed, but not enough to land decent hits on them. This is where Eggman acts as his support. "Freeze!" He fires ice blasts that freeze Sonic but not Spidey, who instead gets smashed through the frozen hedgehog by Ock's brutal tentacles.

Both heroes then collapse between two walls that Eggman materialized, prompting Ock to proclaim, "Be crushed by our superiority!" They want to wall jump out but couldn't because of Ock pinning them down, pummeling them until Eggman crushes them with his walls.

The Docs laugh. A little too soon as this battle isn't over yet. Their nerves are struck with horrific surprise when the walls are being pushed aside by a still alive Spider-Man using all of his amazing strength. "HUUUURRRAAAAAAAAGH!" He roared, giving Sonic enough space to bounce off the walls to strike doctors in quick succession.

"You're a troublesome duo!" Ock grunted angrily, with the docs forced to being pursued again in their original positions.

"Replace troublesome with dynamic!" Sonic quipped.

"Not a bad idea. I should follow suit. Separation Attack!" Eggman proclaimed, pressing a button that causes his mech's body and tail to detach and attack simultaneously.

"Hah! You're not half the Egg you were." Spidey snarked.

"Half is enough to ruin your whole life!" Eggman retorted with an evil grin.

This Separation Attack is easily the Doc's deadliest combo. The Egg Dragoon's top half keeps launching a network of fire beams that is making it difficult for Spidey to stay in the air. At the same time, its bottom half unleashes ice waves that keeps giving Sonic seconds to dodge. Such a wonderful strategy aids Ock in striking their foes with unpredictable tentacles that ricochet off walls and the floor. A counterattack is needed and fast. Upon watching a tentacle retract, Sonic gets the idea to run on it toward Ock and hit him with a surprise Spin Attack, knocking him down. The fire beams then target the falling hedgehog, almost blasting him to kingdom come if Spidey didn't web him away before throwing him at the Egg Dragoon's belly with spacetime-cracking force to open a massive portal behind all four combatants.

"No! A portal!" Eggman exclaimed with worry.

Everyone is swallowed up by the portal that sends them falling down a long vertical tunnel. "Dammit! This battle is getting too intense for this timespace to endure! We must end this quickly, Ivo!" Ock frowned, standing on the reattached Egg Dragoon that is on the verge of destruction.

"I know that! You focus!" Eggman retorted angrily.

The battle is at its climax as the Docs are left with nothing but desperation to attack the skydiving heroes with. Ock thrusts all four tentacles at Sonic, who dodges all but one so he can grind down on it. "You're losing steam, Docs! This is where it ends!" Sonic declared.

Eggman launches his fastest Drill Attack that Spidey evades by bouncing across falling debris, grabbing it with a webline and pulling it while his feet grind along the walls of the tunnel. "Hasta la bye bye, suckers!" With his maximum effort, Spidey hurls the drill as the final blow to the Egg Dragoon that gets Eggman screaming in terror. The exploding mech distracts Ock, leaving him wide open to a Sonic kick that knocks him off the machine. Ock crashes at the bottom of the tunnel seconds before being crushed by the destroyed Egg Dragoon. As for Sonic and Spidey, they simply land there unscathed, brushing aside the large drill that crashes right behind them.

The defeated Eggman crashes to the ground in front of his wrecked Egg Dragoon while the equally-beaten Ock struggles to crawl out of the wreckage. Such a sensational victory over incredible foes must be rewarded. A turquoise light from above grabs the heroes' attention as they find a colorless Chaos Emerald has appeared regaining its luster. It descends into Sonic's hand, smiling, "We did it, partner! The final Emerald!", at Spider-Man who is just as happy they found all seven Chaos Emeralds.

"Sonic! Spider-Man!"

Modern Tails shouted from above as he flies down to regroup with the duo. He also brought along Classic Tails flying down Classic Sonic, Team RWBY sliding down the tunnel, and Spider-Man 2099 gliding down while carrying the RWBY Kids. "Aw man. We missed it. Can't believe you didn't save some for us." Kid Yang whined for arriving too late to the fight.

"Let's just be grateful they won." Kid Blake calmed her down.

"Ooooh…I can't believe this! We were supposed to beat you this time." Eggman whined at his latest defeat.

"Aw, I'm sorry! We didn't get that memo. We beat you every time!" Modern Sonic snarked, before turning to his past self saying, "No seriously, we beat these guys every time. It's like it's our job or something!", which gets a laugh out of both him and Kid Ruby.

"What's Eggman and Ock even doing here? I thought you said they'd been kidnapped by that big weird thing that sent us all to this place!" Adult Weiss questioned Miguel.

"Eggman was, but not this Ock. Tell us everything you know!" Spider-Man 2099 interrogated Octavius.

"I already told your counterpart about the Nexus of All Realities! There's nothing more I know!" Ock claimed angrily.

"Is that where the Time Eater is hiding? How do we get there?" Teen Ruby questioned next.

Before any more questions can be possibly answered, the Time Eater suddenly appears in this timespace. It's not here to fight, instead capture the doctors before disappearing with them. "You've gotta be kidding me…" Peter remarked tiredly, convinced that the doctors were not behind the Time Eater's actions.

"So they were kidnapped. This is getting stranger all the time." Classic Tails commented, with the heroes left more confused than ever before, while time is on the verge of running out permanently.
