While not one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Moai heads of Easter Island, are one of the world's most famous icons and tourist attractions. And, as is common with famous locations (in this universe), a capsule was in the area.

Somehow remaining hidden atop one of the heads for a few months now, a capsule finally broke its silence and fell from the top of one of the heads. It rolled down the hill and continued on going until it crashed into a rock and opened up. When it did, a gust of wind blew the cards away until they landed on a patch of dirt and activated.

A green armored back Nodosaurus with a turquoise underbelly appeared and let out a roar. Tourists and natives -who saw the dinosaur activate- ran away from the clubless ankylosaur before the Nodosaurus walked away. The first thing he noticed was the large head statues. Confused at the sight, the Nodosaurus wandered off to the coastline, learning about the island he's on.

At Zeta Point, the signal was already picked up and the trio were preparing to take off. In a bizarre moment of seriousness, they rode the elevator up to where Dr. Z was with their transport, a helicopter with the Alpha Gang logo.

The door to the elevator opened and the trio stepped out. They walked over to a bright light in the center of the dark room and stood at attention before saluting their leader. "Alpha Gang reporting for duty."

"Good. I see some training might have finally given you some discipline." Dr. Z said, actually impressed by his minions not complaining for once. The trio wanted to rebuttal to that insult, but they also didn't want to immediately make their boss retract his statement. They just had managed to get their new dinosaurs to respect them and were in the moment. So, they just lowered their hands and continued to stand silently at attention until he was done speaking.

"A new dinosaur has been spotted in some chain of islands." Dr. Z started. "I recently built this new Alpha-copter to help with getting back one of my dear dinosaurs. Unlike the Alpha Crafts -which I admit don't have the best craftsmanship- this Alpha-copter will get you there safe and sound… mostly."

"Mostly?" The trio questioned on edge.

"Well, there is a slim… teeny-tiny chance that the rotor malfunctions and you could crash. But that's semantics."

"Do you have utter fate in us?" Ed asked.

"I trust you that you can't disappoint me anymore or unless you do so then I'll have Hades eat you."

"Talk about no pressure." Ursula muttered. The trio entered their new mode of transportation and hurried off to secure the dinosaur.

At the D-Lab, it was currently a chore day for the D-Team.

"And there we go!" Max hit the floor, exhausted. He had finished scrubbing down Dozer's back with a deck scrub. The Ankylosaurus had some dirt in between his armor. Dozer rumbled a small thanks then went off to sleep, a habit the brown ankylosaur enjoyed too much.

"That really hurts." Max cringed, holding his wrist in pain.

"Well, we all have to play our part in caring for the dinosaurs." Dr. Taylor boldly stated.

"Dad, Dozer isn't a turtle. He's an Ankylosaurus." Max deadpanned, "I don't think his armor really needs buffing."

Zoe pressed a button and fresh prehistoric plant chow poured out a tube for the herbivores. Duke, Mia, Liliac, and Hissy were the first to arrive and munched happily. The prehistoric plant chow was similar to the custom dino chow the main dinosaurs ate, thanks to Reese's thinking.

The carnivores got their own source of meat composed of fish, small and large livestock. Pixel snacked on a chicken, Rebel had some lamb chops, and Pandora devoured about ten raw steaks. Anga took some fish into her beak before the Pteranodon trio joined in.

Elsewhere around the Sanctuary, the D-Team's herd was at their leisure.

Zeus and Bolt were engaged in a spar session with one another, Littlefoot taking an afternoon swim, Dory was sunbathing, and Ember was just roaming around.

Quill was cracking open some nuts that have started appearing recently in the forest. It seemed the Sanctuary reacted to the presence of a dinosaur's needs.

Rex placed down some bowls for their main partners, who dug in immediately.

The D-Team came together for a short break after their chores, Max was out of breath.

"I hope Reese gets that automated feeding system up and running in the future." Zoe admitted, despite just having to press a button.

"Yeah and maybe make a dino shower too." Max suggested, holding his sore wrist.

A faint blinking stopped their conversation and they all exclaimed, "A dinosaur!"

The kids and their partners ran to the teleportation pad while Reese typed in the coordinates.

"This time, you will be heading towards Easter Island. Good luck." She said as the kids teleported away.

Dr. Taylor entered the room right after his son and friends left. "Wait! Max! You forgot to scrub Hissy down!"

Noticing his son was gone, the paleontologist groaned. "Great, no worries. I can scrub Hissy down."

While he left, Reese raised an eyebrow before ignoring the antics. "Maybe I should get to work on that automated feeding system." She mused.

With the Alpha Gang, their chopper landed on Easter Island and the hatch opened. After landing, Ursula stood up in her seat and looked with a pair of binoculars. "Well, now comes the not so fun part. Finding that dang dinosaur."

"You don't make it sound like it'll be fun." Zander commented as he mimicked Ursula's actions in the opposite direction.

"Sarcasm is a foreign language to simpletons like you." Ursula muttered spitefully, resisting the urge to smack Zander and focused on searching for clues. "It's probably somewhere else."

"What's your first clue?" Zander sarcastically asked. This time he did get smacked for that comment.

"Ed, take us inland." Ursula commanded the short man while still growling at Zander.

"Roger that." Ed complimed and drove forward.

But as he did, Zander and Ursula forgot to sit back and were promptly knocked out of the vehicle, face-planting into the sand. Ursula pulled her head out, spit out the sand in her mouth, and saw the vehicle driving away. Immediately, she was on her feet running after it with Zander behind. "Hey, Ed, get back here!" She yelled at the driver.

"Don't leave us here!" Zander pleaded.

Ed did hear them but because of the speed he was going at he just assumed it was some bugs caught in the wind. It wasn't until he was about ten miles from where they arrived that he noticed something was off about his teammates. "Geez, you guys are really quiet back there." He assumed he was telling them. "I would've expected at least one insult about my driving now." When he got silence in return, this time he huffed in annoyance. "Hmph! If you're giving me the silent treatment because I ate all of those brownies, the last you could do is give me a simple-" He whirled around only to see the empty seats and finally put two-and-two together. "Oh snap!"

Immediately, his face paled and sweat came down like rain as he frantically checked the rear view mirror to make sure he hadn't gone too far without them.

Good news was that he could see them keeping with the vehicle.

Bad news was that had just chased after it for ten miles and were basically seconds away from collapsing.

"Huff! Huff! Ed, you turn that thing around right now if you know what's good for you!" Ursula threatened him while being out of breath.

Ed gulped heavily, swallowing a dinosaur egg-sized lump in his throat, before putting the machine in reverse. As the launcher slowly backed up, Ursula and Zander were able to stop and catch their breaths, relieved they wouldn't have to keep running.

The relief was short lived as they noticed Ed wasn't stopping, unable to see his teammates behind him or through the mirror. "No, wait! Ed, stop the tru-mmmmph!" Zander tried to plead, jumping up and down in a futile attempt to get the short man's attention before getting run over, Ursula jumping out of the way and into a sand dune.

Thankfully, Ed felt that he had ran something over and quickly stopped reversing and moved forward again. "Hang on, guys! I think I ran over something!" He called out to his teammates.

At least Zander would be thankful if he basically wasn't glued to the tries, moving along with the back left and still getting his face crushed every time it went around. When Ed felt that something was still stuck to the vehicle, he finally stopped it all altogether…

With his face underneath the tire.

Ed got out of his seat and went to see what was interfering with his rescue. "All right, what could possibly be stuck to- Zander!" Ed screamed when he saw his taller teammate's limb body. "Hang on, buddy! I'll save you!" He cried before quickly grabbing Zander's legs and pulling him from underneath the tire.

Once free, Zander breathed in on giant breath of air and recovered in a cartoon fashion. "Daylight! Sweet daylight!" He cried in relief.

While the two clowns were recovering, Ursula poked her head out of the sand. Immediately, she could feel all the particles stuck in her hair. "Oh, great." She groaned as she ran a hand through her green locks, removing some sand. "This will take forever to clean off."

Turning her frustration into anger, and directing it at the driver, she marched over to where Ed was and bashed his head in. "That's it, Ed! No more driving privileges for you! Zander, you take the wheel." She commanded.

Once the D-Team landed on Easter Island they looked at their Dino Holders. "The signal is still active." Rex commented.

"Which means the Alpha Gang hasn't beat it yet." Zoe said.

"Then let's make sure they don't." Max declared.

The D-Team began to search around for clues, Max even going up to a native to ask if they had seen a dinosaur. "Excuse me, Ms. Have you seen a dinosaur around here?"

"A dinosaur?" The native repeated.

"Yeah. Real big or about human height. Scaly. Can have claws, horns, or even spikes-"

"Max!" Rex interrupted before pulling the brunette back. "Sorry about that." He apologized before whispering, "What were you thinking?!"

"I was trying to get some help!" Max defended himself.

"By telling people we are looking for a dinosaur?!"

"It was only her! I didn't ask anyone else!"

"Max, not everyone is going to listen to us. We are just kids."

"Doesn't mean that we can't ask for help from the locals." Max reminded him.

The local, who had been pondering, spoke up. "Come to think of it, I overheard some people talking about this really big reptile that randomly appeared."

"You did?!" The two boys exclaimed.

"Yeah. I think something about the back being spiky or something."

"Do you know where it went?" Rex asked hopefully.

The local shook his head but answered, "It was over near some stands and wandered into the jungle."

"Thank you, Ms." The boys thanked and went to find Zoe. They hoped these hints could help with the dinosaur.

The Nodosaurus was still roaming Easter Island, now in the grasslands. He was puzzled by all the Moai heads but paid no attention to them. He didn't have a goal or mission, just aimlessly walking through the ecosystem.

Unknown to the clubless ankylosaur, the A-trio was rolling through the same biome. In fact they were about to collide.

"Ugh are we any closer to finding this dinosaur?" Ursula groaned.

"Well, it's not like a dinosaur can just hide." Zander answered. He wasn't keeping his eyes on the road.

"Unless it has some camouflage ability." Ed mentioned. He shuddered at the thought of a dinosaur using camouflage and attacking them.

"Oh, grow up, Ed." Ursula dismissed and closed her eyes. "We'll find that dinosaur soon enough. It's not like we'll just crash into it."

Like many times before -and more to come- the universe provided them wrong. The A-trio's vehicle collided head-on with the Nodosaurus. The ankylosaur managed to not take much damage, thanks to his armor, but was mildly disoriented. The Alpha Gang, however, landed face first in the ground.

"Hey, look at that!" Ed said, muffled in the ground.

"What? You're a cat?" Zander repeated, also muffled in the ground.

Ursula pulled her head out and got her two lackeys heads out next before pointing at the Nodosaurus. "No, he said there's our dinosaur!" She exclaimed.

"Guess we can crash into it." Zander optimistically said. He prepared an Alpha Scanner before Ursula clocked him in the head. "Ursula? What was that for?!"

"Maybe we should try a different approach this time." The greenette decided.

"Like what? Being friends?" Zander joked, trying sarcasm.

This was taken seriously by Ursula as she clapped her hands together. "Of course! Being friends! The brats do it all the time! How hard can it be?" With that said, she walked over to the Nodosaurus.

"Ursula!" The men cried out in fear.

"Oh, Nodosaurus!"

The teal-colored ankylosaur's disorientation had worn off and was about to walk off before hearing someone call to him. The Nodosaurus turned around and saw Ursula approaching him with a big smile and cheery expression.

If Ed and Zander weren't already horrified by their leader's plan, their pale meme faces were the nail in the coffin. She approached a wild dinosaur and called out to it like her own pet. Even if the Nodosaurus didn't have a club, the ankylosaur would still be a force to reckon with.

"I have to say, you are a big, strong, mighty dinosaur." Ursula praised the ankylosaur. "We could use a dino like on our side! We'll give you food, water, um… shelter, and let you do whatever you want!"

The Nodosaurus looked confused at what she said, not fully processing the offer.

Ursula saw this and tried again. "Come on~ You will get everything you need and more!"

The Nodosaurus still was confused and was about to be on his merry way but Ursula blocked his way. "Um, hello? You have a brain right?"

The Nodosaurus continued to look at her aloof and Ursula felt a tick-mark growing at the stupidity of the dinosaur.

"Ok, look pal." Ursula said, her tone now threatening. "You can either go with some snot-nosed brats who don't have a clue about what they are doing or you could join the Alpha Gang and be a better fit for our Earth representative. Deal?"

And she got her answer.

The Nodosaurus just walked past her. Whether it was because A. he didn't understand her or B. he was clueless was anyone's guess.

But he certainly made a grave mistake since Ursula had been fed up with the amount of stupidity and aloofness this entire day.

"If you won't listen to reason, then how about you listen to this?!" Ursula angrily said and pulled out an Alpha Scanner.

"ALPHA SLASH! BURN 'EM DOWN, TYRANNOTITAN!"

Hades arrived and let out a roar. The Nodosaurus turned around and pawed the ground, responding with his own call as a Battlefield appeared.

"Hades! Tear that Nodosaurus to shreds!" Ursula ordered.

"I think Dr. Z wants the dinosaur alive." Zander reminded her.

"He should have been specific then!" Ursula barked. She was about done with the amount of idiotic comments and how her two teammates can't do anything right this entire mission.

Hades charged in and the Nodosaurus swatted his tail, catching the auburn theropod in the face. The clubless ankylosaur followed up by tackling Hades to the ground. The Nodosaurus begins to slap his tail onto Hades' stomach but before his fourth one, Hades kicks the ankylosaur away. The theropod got back up and roared.

The D-Team perked up at the roar. "Hear that?" Max asked his friends.

"Sounds like a dinosaur to me." Zoe commented.

"Let's go!" Rex said and took off towards the roar.

Hades rammed his head into the Nodosaurus' flank, sending him tumbling and destroying a Moai head.

"Ah!" Zander and Ed shrieked, knowing they destroyed a piece of this island's culture.

"Oh please, will you two relax?" Ursula dismissed, "It's just a head."

"But what if they are… cursed?" The two men said and held each other.

"Ugh, you boys will believe in anything haunted." Ursula said with an eye roll and went back to commanding, "Hades! I don't care how many heads you destroy, just make sure the Nodosaurus is down for the count!"

The auburn tyrannosaur roared and charged towards the Nodosaurus again, the herbivore had just recovered.

Seeing his position, the Nodosaurus glowed purple, activating his Move Card. He reared up and slammed down, causing four large purple crystals to emerge, two on each side. The crystals shifted forward and the Nodosaurus charged into Hades. Upon colliding, Hades was sent flying towards another set of Moai heads, nearly destroying them.

"Hey, the Nodosaurus has the Crystal Crusher Move Card!" Ed exclaimed.

"We definitely need that Move Card!" Zander proclaimed.

"And with Hades, we'll be getting a two for one special." Ursula smugly said.

By then, the D-Team had arrived on the scene.

"Look at that! Is that an Edmontonia?" Max said.

"No, it looks like a Nodosaurus." Zoe mentioned, "It has less spikes and more of a flat armored back."

Hades recovered and growled as Nodosaurus came charging in and jumped. Hades avoided the blow as the Nodosaurus rammed into the Moai heads, much to the horror of the D-Team.

"If they don't stop soon, all the heads will be destroyed!" Rex commented.

"Hey, knock it off! You're destroying this islands' monuments!" Max urged the Alpha Gang.

"Ugh, not you brats too." Ursula groaned, seeing how her mortal enemies decided to join the party. "They are just some rusty old heads. Not like they mean much." She dismissed and pulled out a Fire Move Card. "Go! Burning Lava Mandala!"

Hades was outlined in red and roared loudly. The Nodosaurus braced himself but then found the ground beneath him getting hotter and hotter. Five seconds later, a geyser of lava engulfed the Nodosaurus. The clubless ankylosaur roared in pain as the ring of lava consumed him fully. Once the lava geyser ended, the Nodosaurus stumbled forward in pain.

The D-Team, both kids and dinos, growled at the sight of the new Move Card. "Those creeps… they nearly burned Nodosaurus to a crisp!" Zoe cried out.

"Well, I'm putting a stop to it!" Max declared and activated his Dino Holder.

"Right behind you, Max!" Rex agreed and did the same.

"DINO SLASH! FLAME UP, TYRANNOSAURUS REX!"

"DINO SLASH! CARNOTAURUS, BLOW THEM AWAY!"

Terry and Ace landed and ran towards the battle.

"Terry, take on Hades!" Max insisted.

"Ace, protect Nodosaurus for now!" Rex urged.

Terry swung his head into Hades and knocked him away from the ankylosaur. Ace sprinted over and got in front of the weakened wild dinosaur. Facing his back, Ace planned to defend the Nodosaurus.

"Zander, bring out another dinosaur to take out the Carnotaurus and the Nodosaurus." Ursula ordered. Zander fumbled the Alpha Scanner for a second then slashed a card.

"ALPHA SLASH! WRECKING TIME, HUAYANGOSAURUS!"

With Huey on the field, the stegosaur bellowed then charged at Ace. The carnosaur saw this and engaged in a small headlock with Huey. The Nodosaurus was still stirring but weak from Burning Lava Mandala

Terry tried to bite down on Hades only for the auburn theropod to give a tail slap. Terry recovered as Hades rammed him in the flank. The t-rex was pushed back and almost into a Moai head but Terry managed to overpower the auburn theropod and bash him away.

"Terry! Be careful! We don't want to wreck any monuments!" Max heeded. Terry heard him and tried his best not to do any collateral damage.

Ace and Huey's headlock had reached its end with the carnosaur flipping the stegosaur from underneath. Huey landed, making the ground shake as Ace continued his assault with ramming into the Huayangosaurus. However, Huey threw his tail and hit Ace in his gut, leaving him open to a body check. With Ace currently reeling, Huey proceeded to engage the Nodosaurus, who had recovered.

Seeing his approaching adversary, the Nodosaurus brought his tail around and landed a blow on Huey. The Nodosaurus rammed into the Huayangosaurus with his own armored back but the stegosaur threw his side spike and clashed hard into the ankylosaur. Ace recovered and jumped back into the fray, ramming his horns into Huey.

The two tyrannosaurs' fight had escalated with Terry gaining the upper hand against Hades. Terry bit down on Hades' neck, dragging the Tyrannotitan around before throwing Hades into the ground. The auburn tyrannosaur rose and bellowed.

The Nodosaurus was sent flying by a lucky hit from Huey and sent tumbling across the grassland, destroying a few more Moai heads that made the D-Team flinch. After the ankylosaur came to a stop, he bellowed in pain and returned to his card with his Move Card.

"Finally!" Ursula cheered, "Ed! Grab that Nodosaurus while Hades and Huey have the brats distracted!" She ordered.

Ed was about to go off and retrieve the cards but Zoe beat him as she held it smugly. "You mean this Nodosaurus card?" She taunted.

"Oh no." Ed bemoaned, knowing that Ursula and Dr. Z would chew him out. Though to be frank, Dr. Z will chew him, Zander, and Ursula about their failure.

"Time to finish this!" Max declared, seeing the Nodosaurus card was safe. He pulled out a Fire Move Card and asked his blonde friend. "Rex?"

"Right." Rex replied and pulled out a Wind Move Card.

"Go! Blue Volcano!" Max shouted and swiped his Move Card.

Terry's eyes ignited with blue flames before swinging his head around. A circle of blue fireballs surrounded the red tyrannosaur before he gave a roar, signaling for the fireballs to attack. Hades took it head on but was soon overwhelmed and collapsed, reverting back to a card.

"Wind Rider!" Rex yelled and swiped the Move Card.

Outlined in white, Ace roared to the sky. A current manifested beside the carnosaur who jumped onto the current as if he was riding a rail. Huey prepared to attack but the current was stronger than it appeared and blew the Huayangosaurus off course. Ace then came by and the current circled the stegosaur to the point Huey was in the air. Ace came in and landed a dropkick into Huey that resulted in plummeting to the ground. Huey roared in pain before returning back to his card.

"Oh yeah!" Max cheered.

"Grrrr!" Ursula growled, "You'll pay for that!" She was about to send Gaia before she felt her hair getting wet. Looking up, Terry was above and dripping saliva dangerously with a fierce look. She saw in the corner of her eye that Ace shared a similar look, just honed on Ed and Zander.

"Or maybe not." Ursula meekly said. The A-trio left dust outlines of themselves, escaping the two carnivores.

Terry and Ace let out triumphant roars as their enemies ran away before returning back to their cards per their summoners' instructions. With a swipe, Max and Rex returned them back to their chibi size and pet them on the snout.

"Great job out there, you two." Rex congratulated them. Zoe walked up with the Nodosaurus and Crystal Crusher Move Card.

"And I got the cards." Zoe cheered, feeling proud. She showed them off to the boys who were glad to have saved the teal ankylosaur.

"Way to go Zoe!" Max cheered.

Having saved Flint the Nodosaurus, the teal ankylosaur spent his time just wandering around the Sanctuary. He was generally oblivious to most of the other herd members, like accidentally running into Bolt, Hissy, and almost trampling Pixel.

"Man, Flint is…" Dr. Taylor started, trying to find the right words for their newest addition.

"Not the sharpest tool in the shed?" The kids offered.

"Well… yes." Dr. Taylor sighed, "I remember how some dinosaurs don't have the biggest brains. That goes to Pixel and the raptors."

"Well, he still must be a force to be reckoned with when battling." Max admitted.

A roar was heard and caused the D-Team to turn their attention to it. Flint had just bumped into Pandora, who lunged with her jaws at the ankylosaur. However, Flint was quick to react and used his armor to deflect the jaws.

"Well, goes to show that despite their brain size, dinosaurs are still capable fighters." Dr. Taylor declared.

"Yeah but we should probably break that up before Pandora or Flint end up hurting each other." Rex admitted.

It took the main dinosaurs, Hissy, Dozer, Littlefoot, and Chloe to intervene between Pandora and Flint before the fight escalated. Maybe they should have their main dinosaurs to prevent any potential conflict for the night. Flint was definitely aloof to anything but a good fight.

"One reason. One reason. ONE REASON!" Dr. Z shouted to the top of his lungs at the A-trio. "ONE REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T FEED YOU TO HADES FOR YOUR FAILURE!?"

Zander and Ed shivered in fear from the outburst but Ursula, irritated with how her day had been, just glared back.

"Well, frankly the Nodosaurus didn't seem too bright." Ursula replied.

"I DON'T CARE IF IT WASN'T THE SHARPEST DINOSAUR IN THE TOOLSHED! ANY DINOSAUR WILL DO AT THIS POINT TO EXPAND MY DINOSAUR KINGDOM!" Dr. Z yelled at the trio.

"Dr. Z!" Helga said, entering the room, and the 'dictator' stiffened where he stood. "Your shouting is getting very distracting. Rod and Laura are trying to study and your shouting is not helping."

Dr. Z flinched, knowing that an irritated Helga is a force to be reckoned with and conceded. "Yes, Helga."

"Good. And tonight we are having wonton soup. Your shouting is also straining your voice and it is not good for you." Helga advised and left the room.

Zander and Ed let out breaths of relief while Ursula rolled her eyes in mild amusement. Seeing Dr. Z cower made her day somewhat better but she was still irritated with Flint the dumb-as-bricks Nodosaurus. In her opinion, they didn't need a dumb dinosaur on the team.

Ed and Zander clearly fit that bill as of right now and they aren't even dinosaurs.

Elsewhere on Zeta Point, Seth looked back at his Alpha craft and smiled. "Excellent. Now to make sure its functioning." He pressed a few buttons and aircraft started up, much to his delight. "Perfect." He said to himself and pulled out a replicate Alpha Scanner with the same function that brought the new Alpha Gang's dinosaurs as cards. The craft began to surge and warp out of the time period and head back to the time of the dinosaurs. Whatever Seth had in mind, he had big plans in store.

Next Time on Dinosaur King: The Complete Collection:

Rex: Ace, it will be good for you.

Ed: Why did it have to be a quick one?

Zander: Why not try this!

(An Eustreptospondylus backflips away from Kronos)

Max: Zoe, look out!

(A full-sized Spiny cradles Zoe as they fall from a cliff)

A/N: At last, a new chapter. Had writer's block, classes, and procrastination to keep me away from writing. Always a real downer.

But as you can see, I get it done. Give or take a month.

Took a few cues from Drew's "Art of Crystal." Ironic since the Move Card is Crystal Crusher. It would have been amazing to see it in the cartoon.

Flint's personality is basically oblivious to many things like a deal or other dinosaurs but a pretty good fighter. I got the idea from Ian's Torterra in "Pokémon Tales."
