I have returned bc I was bored. How noble.

Sooo… yeah. I wrote FFs in other fandoms, got lazy, then used AI to help me, then lost the passion. How dramatic. Actually, I do have a chapter 5 written by AI but I forgot the content bc it was from long time ago. Well now I try to write without AI. Ugh, I have to resist the urge to use AI… as if I'm addicted to it. *Me from a bit later: uses AI for inspiration. hey! That's allowed."

What happened prior: Lukas, a 18 year old Highschool graduate, accidentally got involved in Naofumi's summoning process while in vacation in Japan. Finding himself in another world, Lukas was excited to live to his fullest, outside the productivity obsessed society of his former world. Despite being isekaid, he was denied the blessing of a cardinal weapon, unlike his peers. Equipped with his mind of the modern 21st century (and a little bit of common sense), how will he deal with the web of conspiracies he was trapped in? (Ok, this was just the premise)

Naofumi's brain was working on full capacity. He was surrounded by multiple ballon monsters trying to bite him at every opportune moment.

But what really caused his determination to falter were the two uni rabbits who can pierce his over levelled defense stat with a thrust with their horn.

Weaponless and without help, would Naofumi really engage in his lonesome?

He would. Why? Because he didn't care.

Being stripped of all his money, belongings, reputation and even his hopes and dreams, why would he care about nobody helping him? Would he even dare to accept help and risk being backstabbed again?

No… He charged at his enemies, disregarding his defence, only with one goal in his mind:

Channeling all his frustrations into physical violence, trying to release his rage from within.

The ballon monsters were hindering his mobility by sticking on all parts of his body. But Naofumi has only one thing in mind… to inflict the suffering he himself was put through on someone other.

And this someone was the uni rabbit.

In its frenzy, the uni rabbit screeched, jumping straight at Naofumi, with its horn as the spear head.

With all his focus on the uni rabbit, he managed to smack it to the ground using his shield.

He growled at the low low damage number but then cackled when noticing that the rabbit was stunned by the impact.

However, his triumph was short lived. Just as he intended to crush it in a follow up stomp, the second uni rabbit dashed at the by ballon monster covered shield hero.

Naofumi was too late to react and had to tank the following assault.

He twisted his body in an attempt to dodge, yet merely avoided to get pieced through a vital spot by a hunch.

He felt his flank, just below his ribcage, burn as he grabbed the uni rabbit by its horn and slammed it against a massive tree.

His pain was temporarily replaced with glee when he heard its bones crack upon contact.

Suddenly a voice dragged him out of his rampage.

"Really? And you said that you don't need help."

He recognised this voice. It was Lukas, the only guy who defended him at the trail.

"Get away from me!" Naofumi didn't trust him. Why would someone help a broke and despised looser like him, who even failed in his role as a hero?

Lukas pretended to not hear that and made held his sword in his hand, ready to strike down the first uni rabbit on the ground, which was recovering from its dizziness from prior.

When the deed was finished, his eyes shifted to Naofumi's left hand. To be exact, to the uni rabbit struggling to free itself.

"Going to let me kill it?" Lukas pointed at the beast.

Naofumi remained silent. After a moment, he threw the uni rabbit to the feet of Lukas, earning a small squeak from the latter.

After ending the bloody business, Lukas said mildly annoyed: "We can talk now."

Naofumi was about to walk away prepared to throw ballon monsters at Lukas if he still followed him, but his blood loss from that one uni rabbit suggested otherwise.

Pressing a hand against the wound he mumbled: "Fine."
