A/N: I am so so so sorry, to everyone actually interested in this. I started my bachelor's programme and then got sucked into really dark HP-verse stuff. And I forgot that I don't know how to come back from that hellhole. And thank you to those who favorited to keep an eye on it. And to my single reviewer (bless your heart, and again I'm sorry).

Snippet 5 – One Plus One Equals 1-A at UA

No one spoke a word. What could they say? Location hopping via portal, fine. Bug communication and weird body parts that flew off and regrew, okay as well. Super speed and flying, peachy. But alternate realities? That was a kind of a stretch they'd never heard of. "Ka-Kagome, maybe you should stay home today?"

"Izuku-nii, I think Grammy needs to see her," Souta intervened as quickly as possible. The blond mumbled something and looked away, hands in his uniform pockets. The dark-haired one that Kagome realized was called Izuku flailed his hands around, startled.

"But if she's at the campus, the teachers will expect her in class!"

"I'm not powerful enough to heal her, and that doesn't explain the dirt, or the dimensions talk. What if she has brain damage? That needs a Pro. Grandma's a Pro, even if Gramps thinks it's time for her to retire," he quipped back, rolling his eyes. He looked back at Kagome and realized she had a more firm grip on his sweater sleeve again. She was going to stretch it out, and then what would he tell their mom.

"I don't think Recovery Girl can fix all of that. Maybe Principal Nezu or Aizawa-Sensei will know… but still, I don't think it'd be a good idea to take her to school yet. Let's get her cleaned, changed, and with a cup of tea first. We can game plan."

Kagome had briefly watched as the dark-haired teen conferred with her brother, then swiveled her gaze to the grumpy blond boy. He was watching her; moreover, the scowl had not left his face. His eyes widened when he realized he was caught staring. She came to the startling conclusion that his eyes were a vibrant crimson-red. What the-? He's a demon? Blond hair and red eyes would definitely be a thing in the Feudal Era.

"-Sneak…. Distract – your mom," were more snippets of the conversation.

She was currently more interested in studying the blond teen across from her. He was in a very defensive position, though Souta sounded extremely familiar with them both by the casual address. Without realizing it, she had released her brother's sleeve and had shuffled a few tiny steps toward the silent figure to the side. If it was possible, his eyes widened more. The unpleasant expression had fled a while ago. The boy's right arm spasmed with his hand still in his pocket, before he pulled the appendage free.

In his hand was a felt-covered black rectangular box, wrapped in a bright teal silky bow.

Her eyes widened, mirroring his earlier startled expression. The young woman faltered, tilting her head to the side in confusion. Unconsciously, one of her hands lifted to point at herself as she locked eyes with him. The blond with the box in hand was looking at her from under his crazy bangs while his arm raised out toward her form. When Kagome made no move, he angled the box at her and gave it a slight shake. Not enough to jar the contents of the box or make a noise, only enough to pull her attention.

"Kacchan, I thought we were gonna wait to give her our gifts at the same time!" a voice to their side startled the silent two in a staring match. Izuku looked a bit flustered even with the determination present.

"Shut up, Deku!" the blond – Kacchan? – growled. "I can give Kagome my gift whenever I want!" At that, he turned back to her and moved forward, deceptively gently pushing the box into her trembling hands.

"But Kacchan…" Izuku – Deku? – mumbled with hunched shoulders. Souta mumbled something that sounded like "just give up" to her ears, a small grin on his face.

The time-traveling priestess did not know what else to do other than whisper "thank you" and grasp the fuzzy box firmly. She was pretty sure her face was a splotchy red.

"Let's just sort everything out so we can get you all to UA," Souta began herding them toward the house. "I don't even have a valid excuse for being late, and they don't cut us primary students any slack!"

"What's UA?" Kagome asked over her shoulder as she led the way across the shrine grounds, her present clutched in dirt smudged fingers, her stormy eyes peering around the property to make sure everything else looked the same.

As the males were trailing behind her, the young woman failed to realize that all three had stopped suddenly, comical poses be damned. Izuku's eyes had bugged, Souta tripped, and Katsuki wavered.

"Are you serious, Nee-chan?" Souta sputtered.

A/N: As I mentioned, I'm not totally happy with these, but this is me working on my writing skills. Which are massively flawed. lmk what ya'll think - flow, syntax, concept. I have ideas floating, HP does inspire, but it's a massive undertaking. I have 2 more chapters written that I'm not sure of, but will probably still post like this. And when the heck did they get rid of the line break feature? I keep forgetting to ask.
