Hello everyone, I'm so sorry for the long wait. Things have been too busy for me. Anyway, many of you are wondering when I would have the people from Kumandra join the story, and many of you hope it'll be in season 4, but sorry to say, they won't get added until the end of season 5.
Now before you get too upset, know the reason for my choice is two things. 1, after watching season 4 and 5, I felt like there wasn't a good time to add the people from Kumandra with it feeling forced or out of the blue. 2, I have a subplot plan for Aaravos' prison, and that subplot will force everyone back to Kumandra, after that I'll have a couple OC chapters where everyone tries to get home with the people from Kumandra helping them, and when it's over, the people from Kumandra will stay as part of the story (AKA they'll be in season 6).
Also before we start, I'm going to add a lot of Pokemon, and to save time, I won't describe them.

Happy Rebirthday In A New Pokemon Age
The Cave Under The Storm Spire
In the cave under the Storm Spire Viren shoots open, his eyes widened, and gasping for air. "What…What-What's going on?" Viren asked, as he rubbed his face. Viren then looked at his hand, and noticed cracks all over his hand. Viren then looked at himself, noticing cracks all over his body and his clothes.
Then Viren turned his head, to see Claudia next to him, her eyes pitch black, the right half of her hair pure white. She was wearing her usual outfit, but it was now covered in burns and stitches.
Claudia then gasps, as her eyes turn back to normal. "You're alive!" Claudia said to Viren. Viren then noticed the shattered crown next to him. "Somehow I… I survived the Twins attack and the fall?" Viren asked Claudia.
"No. Y-You didn't." Claudia said to Viren, not looking at Viren in the eyes. That's when Viren looked at right hand, and wiggled his fingers, only to watch them fall off. This caused Viren's eyes to widen in fear.
Claudia then moved Viren's side, and put Viren's fingers back on his hands, and then placed a hand on the side of Viren's head, claiming Viren down. "But you're okay now." Claudia said to Viren, with tears in her eyes.
Then Viren realized he didn't have Aaravos' caterpillar on him. "Where is…" Viren asked Claudia, but she interrupted him, knowing what he was talking about. "Your creepy caterpillar friend?" Claudia asked Viren, before chuckling.
"Two days ago, it climbed up that wall, and spun itself… into that." Claudia said to Viren, before pointing to a glowing cocoon. "It's changing." Claudia said to Viren. Viren then looked at his cracked right hand and a realization hit him.
"Two days. I've been dead for two whole days?" Viren asked Claudia. "It's been two years, dad. Over two years have passed." Claudia said to Viren, making Viren's eyes widen his eyes so much it broke off his nose.
The Castle In Katolis
And indeed two years have passed, and the world has changed quite a lot in the last two years, and the reason for that change is from Drake and Allen becoming the leaders of the Black and White Dragonflights, and their biggest decision to let all races join the flights.
It was met with much resentment at first, but Drake and Allen remember what they learned on Kumandra and know that if they wish to make things better for everyone, they must show the world that Humans, Elves, and Dragon could co exist.
It was a slow process at first, but over time, Humans, Elves, and Dragon started to live together under the banner of the Black and White Dragonflights. This has caused a new era of inventing and justice to begin.
With Drake, his Black Dragonflight have been coming out with new ideas to make lives better for everyone and they even found a way to help other humans learn magic without the risk of using Dark Magic first.
With Allen, his White Dragonflight has been seeking truth about many things, and bringing justice to those who have been wrong by lies and old hatred. Allen even made it so that Rayla and her parents were no longer ghosted by their people. Allen hoped this would bring Rayla back to them, but she never came.
And on this day of Viren's return to the living, the Castle of Kaltolis, with many humans, Elves, Dragons, and Pokemon going about their daily lives, with smiles on their faces. But there was someone whose face wasn't smiling. And that was Callum, who had made Viren's old office his own, and was staring at Aaravos' mirror.
Callum had grown in the past two years, he had a new hairstyle, which was now brushed to the left side of his head in a messier fashion. His new outfit was a tightly fit, turtlenecked chest piece that separates into two sections at the front around the level of his hips, and is colored in a mix of blue, red, brown, and golden seams. The blue part of this chest piece sports a pattern in a slightly lighter hue. A brown belt with a golden buckle holds a sachet on its right side, as well as Callum's spellbook. And on the other side of his hips were six wooden Pokeballs in a round dist, with his Tera Orb in the middle of them all. His black sleeves fully cover his arms and are equipped with shoulder pads, as well as two golden bracelets around each wrist. He also wears a pair of high brown boots over black pants. His fingerless gloves and red scarf are also still part of his attire of choice, while the latter is not always worn.
Around the room, enjoying some Pokemon food. These Pokemon were Yanmega, Drifloon who was now a Drifblim, a Corviknight with a saddle on it, a female Unfezant, a Sigilyph, and Rayla's Gliscor was with them.
"What secrets are you hiding?" Callum asked the mirror as he touched the ruins. That's when Callum heard some knocking at the door. Callum then covered the mirror, and walked to the door.
When he opened the door, he was greeted by Abigail, who looked the same as she always had but now had an apron on with a black serpent dragon on it, and had a pocket in the middle of the apron with three wooden Pokeballs and her Tera Orb in it. Behind Abigail was Piplup who was now a Empoleon, a Indeede, and a Cinccino.
"Hello Callum. I came to remind you about the council meeting." Abigail said to Callum. "Come Abigail, I don't need a reminder. I learn all kinds of things after becoming the High Mage. And I take my duties as a member of the council very seriously." Callum said to Abigail, placing his hands on his hips.
"Then you should have no problem remembering the meeting is in 5 minutes." Abigail said to Callum. "Oh right. Come on everyone." Callum said to his Pokemon, before he started to run. "Yanmega." Yanmega said, sounding like "what am I going to do with him", before he and the other Pokemon in the room went after Callum.
A few minutes later, Callum and the Pokemon made it outside and saw it was raining. "Pluviam Praesidium." Callum said, as he drew a symbol of an umbrella, before drawing a circle around the umbrella.
This formed an air shield that made the water roll off it. But Callum didn't use it for himself, he made it for Corviknight, Unfezant, and Sigilyph, with Callum, Yanmega and Gliscor enjoying the rain, and thinking of their friends from Kumandra while they all walked through the rain.
While talking through the rain, many Humans, Elves, Pokemon, and a Dragon waved at them. A few minutes later, Callum entered the hallway outside the council room. And there they ran into Soren and Corvus, both of them with new looks.
For Corvus it was a little change, he cut his hair into a shorter length and tied them into dreads. He also has placed the crest of the Katolian Crownguard on the center of his leather armor, around his belt buckle was three wooden Pokeballs, and a Tera Orb on the right side of his hip.
Following Corvus from the ceiling was a Staraptor and a Ferrothorn, and behind him was a Kricketune.
For Soren, he chose to keep the lower part of his hair behind his ears shaven, and kept his general hair length slightly above ear height. His voluminous hair is split into two segments, with the right side growing significantly longer in a slight wave, past his ear. Maintaining the facial hair he had grown in a neat stubble, it is now styled as a short boxed beard. His armor has been switched out for a chest plate sporting the black and white colors of the Katolian Crownguard, as well as its crest on the center, and is decorated with Katolis's signature golden seams. This piece of armor leaves his stomach exposed while guarding his shoulders with several heavy plates. His arms and the tip of his black shoes enjoy additional protection from silver plated armor. Underneath this protective wear he is dressed in a red shirt with a black collar, as well as gray pants. A sword sits on the left side of his hip, attached to a black belt with golden buckles, attached to his right hip was a round disc with six wooden Pokeballs, and a tera orb in the middle.
Following Soren was Rhyhorn who was now a Rhyperior, a Hawlucha, a Aegislash, a Skarmory, a Garganacl, and a Ursaring.
"Morning, Soren! Corvus! Staraptor! Ferrothorn! Kricketune! Rhyperior! Hawlucha! Aegislash! Skarmory! Garganacl! and Ursaring!" Callum said to everyone, as Soren started to laugh a little.
"There he is, the step-mage and his birds, just finished another musical number in the rain?" Soren asked Callum. "Are you still holding that over us?" Callum asked Soren, as he and his Pokemon walked with Soren and the others.
"Come on step-mage, it's still funny." Soren said to Callum. "Gets a bit funnier every time. Ha-ha! That's how these things work. Nicknames, ha-ha!" Soren said to Corvus, putting an elbow on Corvus' shoulder.
That's when the Crow Master and Murkrow walked past them. "Hey, what if I called you-" Soren said to Corvus, but was interrupted by Corvus. "Don't." Corvus said to Soren. That's when Callum final noticed the Crow Master and Murkrow walked passed them
"Oh, hey!" Callum said, calling out to the Crow Master. "Uh, s-see you guys at the meeting in-in two minutes. O-One minute!" Callum said to Soren and Corvus, as he ran to the Crow Master, with his Pokemon staying where they were.
"Crow Master! Excuse me, Crow Master?" Callum asked the Crow Master as he ran up to him, and got his attention. 'Oh, sorry, were you talking to me? Because I'm actually not the Crow Master anymore since I got promoted." The Crow Master said to Callum.
"Uh, so…" Callum said to the Crow Master. "You are speaking with the Associate Crow Lord." The Crow Master, now the Associate Crow Lord said to Callum. "Not bad, not bad. So listen, anything comes for me, maybe from Xadia? Ancient tome, dusty and crusty and full of rare elven runes?" Callum asked the Associate Crow Lord.
"Oh, what is it, like a sell book?" The Associate Crow Lord asked Callum. "Not quite, it's called the Tome of Translation! I need it to translate some super-weird runes." Callum said to the Associate Crow Lord.
"Mm, usually as Associate Crow Lord, I don't get involved with things on an individual; package level. But for you, I'll keep an eye out!" The Associate Crow Lord said to Callum. "Thanks." Callum said to the Associate Crow Lord, before running to the meeting room. "Oh, and congratulations on the job thing!" Callum said to the Associate Crow Lord, as he ran past his Pokemon, before his Pokemon followed him.
Back in the meeting room, Soren and Corvus were talking to Opeli and Barius, who hadn't changed much in the two years, but now Opeli had two wooden Pokeballs and her Tera Orb on her belt, while Barius had three wooden pokeball and his Tera Orb in a pocket under his apron. Playing with Soren and Corvus Pokemon were Chimecho and Alcremie, with a Spoink next to Chimecho, and Alcremie was on the back of an Appletun with a Fidough next to her.
"Are you sure Prince Callum doesn't know that-" Opeli asked Soren and Corvus, but stopped talking when Callum and his Pokemon entered the room. "You ever get that feeling where…" Callum asked everyone, as he nervously walked into the room.
"Where you walk into a room and everyone suddenly shuts up and you're pretty sure they were talking about you?" Soren asked Callum, before forcing a laugh. "Yeah." Callum said to Soren.
That's when Corvus elbowed Soren in the arm. "Nope! You're-You-re way off, buddy." Soren said to Callum, before forcing another laugh. "Well, sorry I'm late everyone." Callum said to everyone, as he took his seat at the table.
"We haven't gotten started yet. We're still waiting for your brother, the King. And Master Drake." Opeli said to Callum. "I thought I told you, you don't have to call me that." A voice said to Opeli, as everyone noticed Drake walking into the room.
Drake long hair was now tired into a ponytail with multiple nots making it look like a thunderbolt, he was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants and black boots, with dark blue scale-like armor on his boots, legs, knees, chest, wrist and shoulders, with two dark blue serpent dragons traveling from his feet to his hands traveling thru his armor pieces sew into his cloths, and around his waist was a scally black belt, with the right side of the belt having 5 of his Pokeball, the left side having 5 wooden Pokeballs, and on the belt buckle was his Tera Orb and One of his normal Pokeballs. And in his hands was his staff.
Following Drake was 11 Pokemon, these Pokemon were Samurott, Accelgor, Busharp, Braviary, Gothitelle, and Musharna. And his new Pokemon were Darumaka who was now a Darmanitan, a Hydrigon, a Mienshao, a Zebstrika, and a Lilligant.
"I know it's the title those of the Black Dragonflight have given me. But I would prefer if my friends would just call me Drake." Drake said to everyone, as he walked to his set at the table, and placed his staff in a hole next to his set. "What kept you? Normally you're the first one to these meetings?" Corvus asked Drake.
"Sorry about that, once it started raining, some of our flight's young ones came to me and asked me to tell them the story of Kumandra. And I couldn't say no and lost track of time." Drake said to Corvus.
"The kids do love that fairy tail you guys made up." Corvus said to Drake. "How many times do I have to tell you, Kumandra is real. You've seen the proof." Drake said to Crovus. "Isn't it just stuff you guys made while you were on vacation as well to help make the story seem real?" Corvus said to Drake.
"In any case, now we just need the king." Opeli said to everyone. That's when they heard a trumpet playing, and noticed the guards opening the door to the room. That's when Ezran walked into the room.
Ezran had grown quite a bit in the last two years, looking like a fine young man. He was wearing a shirt and pants closely resembling that of his father Harrow, as well as a silver crown forged from Harrow's sword, and on his belt was 3 wooden pokeballs on both sides of his hips, with a Tera Orb in the belt buckle. His hair is no longer styled as voluminously, instead is combed back at the front and tied back into a pigtail.
Following Ezran was six Pokemon, one being Lycanroc, the second a was a Natural Form Furfrou, the third a Stoutland, the Fourth was a Emolga, the fifth was a Azumarill, and the last one was a mighty Salamence.
Everyone in the room slightly bowed to Ezran, as he walked to his set. "Welcome, King Ezran. It looks like we can start this council meeting." Opeli said to Ezran, as everyone turned most of their Pokemon to their Pokeballs. Leaving Samurott, Yanmega, Lycanroc, Rhyperior, Staraptor, Chimecho, and Alcremie out, as they all, human and Pokemon, took their sets at the table.
"Opeli, wait! We're not all here." Ezan said to Opeli. That's when Bait walked into the room. Then Bait walked to his set next to Ezran, and Opeli put him on his set. "Shall we begin, Bait?" Opeli asked Bait. Bait grunted at Opeli. "Sounds like a yes to me." Drake said to everyone.
Xadia Plains
Meanwhile, back in Xadia, after the Viren's dark magic, the Sunfie Elves weren't able to return to their home of Lux Aurea, and where forced to live in tents within a small ruined town, with banners of Lux Aurea and of the White Dragonflights.
At this moment, a group was riding off into a nearby red forest. This group was of Janai, Amaya, and Gren, with all of them riding horses. Gren's look hadn't changed much in two years, but he did have one wooden Pokeball and a Tera Orb on his right hip.
For Janai, her armor was now a brighter version of her old armor, with the addition of a crown to show to everyone that she's the queen, and in a disc on her left hip was six wooden Pokeballs, with a Tera Orb in the middle of it.
For Amaya, her look changed a bit. Her hairstyle was now a side undercut on the right, while the thicker part of her hair on the left has significantly grown longer, now reaching past her chin. She also got Lux Aurean plating added onto her armor, and the silver parts of her shield have taken on a shade of brown instead, and on her right hip was a round disc with six wooden Pokeballs in it around a Tera Orb.
Amaya then started to talk to Janai with her sign language. "What are we doing here, Janai? I understand the need for secret missions, but you shouldn't keep the secret from me." Gren said, translating for Amaya.
"I already explained this mission is need-to-know only. And it's safer for you not to know yet." Janai said to Amaya. But Amaya noticed Janai's lips were acting odd. "I promise you, Amaya, you will understand soon." Janai said to Amaya, before riding off. Amaya and Gren then went after her.
Janai then stopped in a clearing in the woods, and dismounted with Gren. "I need you to wait here." Janai said to Amaya, as she took a few steps away. But then Amaya then started to sign language to Gren. "Something's not right. We're not alone." Gren said, translating for Amaya.
"Trust me. It's safe." Janai said to Amaya with a smile on her face. "I need Commander Gren to come with me." Janai said to Amaya. Gren then took a few steps to Janai, as Amaya got off her horse. "I'll be right back." Janai said to Amaya, before leaving with Gren. This left Amaya alone, with a feeling of uneasiness around her.
The Castle In Katolis
Back in the Castle, Callum was presenting a badge to Barius. The badge was the symbol of Katolis, with a hand and mixing wand in it. "Our first order of business is welcoming our new council member to his first day. Welcome, Barius the Baker." Opeli said to everyone, as Callum pined the badge to Barius' chest.
"Barius, have you given any thought to the official titles I suggested?" Ezran asked Barius. "Hm, while I did appreciate the authoritative ring of "Baker-in-Chief" in the end, I would be humbled to accept the role as your Minister of Crusts and Jellies." Barius said to everyone, as they clapped for him.
"Our next topic: the King says that he has some news to share. It says here that it is "big new"." Opeli said to everyone, reading a piece of paper, as Callum started to dottle in his book. Ezran then stood up.
"I've planned a surprise for everyone. Katolis is going to have some special visitors…" Ezran said to everyone, but was interrupted by Soren mimicking a drum roll. Soren then noticed everyone looking at him, making him stop. "What? It builds anticipation." Soren said to everyone, only to get a disapproving head shake from Corvus and Opeli.
"Now I'm excited! And I already know what's happening. The Dragon Queen is coming to Katolis! And she's bringing Zym!" Ezran said to everyone, surprising everyone, but Drake. "Um, King Ezran, perhaps we should think this through. The Dragon Queen in Katolis, won't people be terrified?" Opeli asked Ezran.
"They might be, at first. But it will change when they meet her, just like they did when elves and dragons started to live with us here. Zubeida is gentle and kind and funny, and when people see that, they'll see there's nothing to fear from her. And that's sort of the point. This is a first step towards building trust and peace between the human kingdoms and Xadia, outside of the Dragonflights influence." Ezran said to everyone.
"And besides, she only eats three people a day. It's a small price to pay for peace." Callum said to everyone, before chucking a little. But that earned a slap on the back of the head from Drake, and a look from everyone else. "Sorry. Not funny. Bad joke." Callum said to everyone.
"In any case, Ezran ran with this idea but me, and I think it's a perfect opportunity for Queen Zubeia to see humans as normal people, not as the knights matching on her home. I asked Allen and Kali to deliver the message to Queen Zubeia, and she said she would be happy to join us with Zym. As such, I have asked Rihon, Kaliq, and Onosji to makes some changes to the the original festive plans." Drake said to everyone before grabbing his staff and banging it into the floor a couple times. That's when the doors opened, and two figures and two Pokemon walked into the room.
The first figure was a human, with a skinny build, white skin, brown eyes, short spiky black, wearing a black lab coat, goggles over his eyes, with the outline of the goggles being black like he just rubbed smoke off them, he was wearing thick brown pants that looked like they've been burned a little, and steel toe boots. And in his right lab coat pocket was a wooden Pokeball and a Tera Orb. The Pokemon following him was a Heliolisk.
The other figure was a male Skywing Elf, but like Ibis, he didn't have wings, but he did have the same pale blue skin, with white marks that go under his eyes and up to a wave line that went around his head, he had short sky blue hair, with his horns going up down the back of his head before splitting into two horns like it was a upside down Y, his outfit was thick dark blue cotton pants and long sleeve shirt, black steel toe boots, black leather armor all over his body with dark blue lines on it, he had a black leather belt around his waist, with a face shield strapped to his left hip, and a wooden Pokeball and Tera Orb on his right hip. Following him was a Flamigo.
"Well if it's two of the Drake three Dragon Heads, the Black Dragon, Human Head Rihon with his partner Heliolisk, and my best buddy the Back Dragon, Elf Head Kaliq and my Hawlucha's main rival Flamigo. But here is The Black Dragon, Dragon Head Onosij and his partner Turtonator?" Soren asked them.
"Come on Soren, you know Onosij doesn't like being wet." Kaliq said to Soren. "But it's nice and dry in this meeting room." Soren said to Kaliq. "But Onosij is a Sunfire Dragon, and when you invite him to these meetings, he generally can only stick his head in through the window. Meaning the rest of his body will be getting rained on." Kaliq said to Soren.
"In any case, we talked to him about this before coming, so we're ready." Rihon said to everyone. "Proceed then." Ezran said to Rihon. Rihon then pulled out a map of Katolis and the area around it.
"Now as many of you know, the festival we're about to have normally took place in the city, before heading to the Valley of Graves near the end of the day. But last year we had it out the city walls and it went well. But this year with Zubeia coming, we thought instead of hosting the festival here in Katolis, he held it outside the Valley of Graves. This way we have enough room for Zubeia, and we can have all kinds of fun until the last moment." Rohin said to everyone.
"We've also added a few things that Zubeia can take part of so she doesn't feel left out of the festivities." Kaliq said to everyone. "I love it. It sounds like a great way for all of us to have a great time." Ezran said to them. "Thank you." Rohin and Kaliq said, bowing to Ezran.
"Now does anyone have anything they want to add to the plan?" Drake asked everyone. "Well, uh, I suppose if the kingdom is having a guest, I ought to welcome her with a mage-sized jelly tart, one even bigger than I sell to the dragons in the flights." Barius said to everyone.
"Yes! And for tomorrow's council meeting, let's come up with ideas for making the visit amazing." Ezran said to everyone. "That means you two better let the vendors know about the change in plans. And that there may be another last minute change to the plan, and will be informed about it tomorrow." Drake said to Rihon and Kaliq.
"On it master." Rihon said to Drake. "Come on. If we hurry, me and Flamigo can make our work out session with Soren later." Kaliq said to Rihon, as he, Rihon, and their Pokemon left. "With that out of the way, the meeting adjourned." Opeli said to everyone, before they got up and started to leave the room.
"Hey, after Callum's gone, should we talk about, uh…" Soren said to Corvus, before he stopped talking. The reason was he noticed Callum looking at them. "Uh, the new dance craze! The-The one that's sweeping the castle? Ha-ha! Ooh! Ho-ho! All the kids are doing it." Soren said, before dancing.
But everyone in the room knew he was lying. Then Callum left the room with Yanmega. "Whew. I'm a master bluffer." Soren said to everyone. "Yep. Just like how an Onix is a master swimmer." Drake said to Soren, before everyone else left.
The Cave Under The Storm Spire
Back in the cave under the Storm Spire, after putting Viren's nose back on his face, Viren had calmed down by the news of him being dead for two years. "Seeing you now, I-I almost can't believe it's been over two years." Claudia said to Viren. "I have a lot to catch up on." Viren said to Claudia, as she helped Viren stand up. Only for Viren to lose his balance.
"Careful! You've got to get used to being alive again. And this time with a more fragile body." Claudia said to Viren, as she helped Viren stablies, and Viren painted. "Thank you, Claudia." Viren said to Claudia, making Claudia smile a little.
"Two years ago, after the battle ended, I searched for your pieces. There were so many pieces scattered all over the place. But the star caterpillar came to me and helped me find all the pieces. A-and that mysterious, deep voice spoke to me." Claudia said to Viren, as she took a couple steps away from Viren.
"Aaravos." Viren said, knowing exactly who she was talking about. "Yes. Aaravos told me I had to act fast. I gathered your pisces and brought you into this cave, where the star caterpillar spun a strange sparkly cocoon around you to preserve your body." Claudia said to Viren, as she walked to the cocoon.
"Then what?" Viren asked Claudia. "Then I had to go on a quest. A quest into Xadia: to find every strange and rare thing I would need to save you, to bring my father back from the dead." Claudia said to Viren, before inhaling.
"I had to do things… I never imagined I would be able to do it. All the while being hunted like an animal. Always on the run… Never being able to sleep for long before I was attacked… Running with all my strength after I got cut or burned by attacks… It was a living nightmare." Claudia said to Viren, not looking at Viren, and starting to cry. "I'm… I'm sorry." Viren said to Clauia.
The Red Forest In Xadia
Back in Xadia, Amaya was walking slowly away from the horses, looking for any sign of trouble. But that's when a twig broke, and the horse whinnied, before running away. Then Amaya noticed three, one female, two male, Sunfire elves wearing normal gold clothes, with whips in their hand, and flowers at the end of the hilt of the whip, and they had three Mienshao with them.
Then the whips and Mienshao's hands were encased in flames. Then the elves and Mienshao nodded to each other, before doing some fancy footwork circling around Amaya, and cracking their whips at her feet.
Amaya then grabbed a whip and pulled the Sunfire elve forward, headbutting the Sunfire Elf. Then Amaya opened 5 of her Pokeballs, letting out Falinks, an Armarouge, a Blaziken, A Lucario, and a Tinkaton.
Then as Amaya tossed the Sunfire Elf she had in her hands into the ground. At the same time Ararouge fired a beam of sparkly silver energy, and Lucario fired a blue sphere at a Mienshao, hitting the Mienshao hard, and sent it flying.
This surprised the Sunfire elves and Mienshao's. Then Amaya charged at the female Sunfire Elf in the group. The female Sunfire Elf tried to whip Amaya, at the same time the Mienshao next to her tried to smack her back.
But then Blaziken disappeared then reappeared, right beside the Mienshao, before kicking it in the side of the head. This confused the Mienshao, letting Blaziken jump back, as Tinkaton flung her massive hammer at the Mienshao sending it flying back a bit.
That's when Amaya wrapped the whip around her left arm and got close, and with a back spin, she slammed her elbow into the female Elf's chin knocking the female sunfire Elf down.
That's when Amaya's 6 Pokeball opened up and a Tyrogue came out of it, ready to fight. But Amaya pulled out her shield and used it to block Tyrogue, shaking her head in a way that said, "you're not ready for fighting". "Tyrogue." Tyrogue said, sounding like "you never let me have any fun".
Then Amaya looked at the last Sunfire Elf and Mienshao. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" The Sunfire Elf said, as he and Mienshao ran for their lives.
Amaya then tossed her shield, which hit the Sunfire Elf in the neck, and pinned him to a tree. "Mienshao!" Mienshao said, with a very worried tune its voice. That's when Flainks formed a single line, with the brass's horn glowing light green and becoming massive.
Flainks then charged at the Mienshao, ramming their horn into its side, and sending it flying into a nearby tree. Amaya then walked to the Sunfire Elf, and got ready to punch him in the face. "Oh, no!" the Sunfire Elf said, bracing for the punch to the face.
"What is going on?" Janai asked, as everyone turned to see Janai walking up, minus most of her armor, with Gren, Mizo, Thalia, Elwin and their Pokemon following her.
Mizo, Thalia, and Elwin looked the same as they did two years ago, only with one wooden Pokeball and Tera Orb on their right hips. But the biggest change was in Thalia arms. In her arms was a little Sunfire Elf baby girl, who was a little over a year old, with long messy bright red hair, stubby little horns, light brown eyes, and yellow marks on the upper part of her eyes that looked like a raisin sun.
Following them was Oricorio, Delphox, Torkoal, and Chatot. They also had Allen Escavalier, Bouffalant, Swanna, Reuniclus, and Leavanny with them.
Behind Janai was Volcarona, a Ceruledge, Infernape, Arcanine, A male Pyroar, and a Shiny Tyrogue. And all of them had flowers on them, with the Pokemon carrying flowers.
Amaya then started to sign language to Janai. "They ambushed me." Gren said, translating for Amaya. "Looks like Allen was right, again." Mizo said to everyone. "No, no. No, no, no." Janai said, looking at everything before groaning a little. "You don't understand. How could this happen?" Janai asked everyone.
"You left Amaya alone after leading her out here on a "secret mission". I told you inviting her to a picnic would have been a better idea." Thalia said to Janai, as Amaya removed her shield from the tree, freeing the Sunfire Elf.
The Castle In Katolis
Back in the Castle, under the setting sun, Soren and Kaliq were doing squats along the castle wall, with Hawlucha and Flamigo doing squats with them, and Soren holding his sword over his head and Kaliq holding a metal rod over his head.
"Ugh, yeah, feel the burn!" Soren said to Kaliq. "I'll feel the burn when you get serious about our workout. After all, we're only on 97 with our squats." Kaliq said to Soren. "All right then… 98… 99, and…" Soren said, as they kept squat, but stopped and yelled in surprise. The reason is Callum appeared in front of them looking at the horizon, with Yanmega on the edge of the wall next to him.
"What's going on, Soren?" Callum asked Soren. "Ah?" Soren said to Callum. "What are you talking about Callum?" Kaliq asked Callum. "The whispers and secrets and hush-hushy stuff in the council meeting? You're gonna tell me." Callum said to Soren.
"Oh, uh, it's just, uh… Kaliq a little help here?" Soren said to Callum and asked Kaliq. "Callum, it's nothing you need to worry about." Kaliq said to Callum. "Yeah it's just Crownguard stuff." Soren said to Callum.
"Crownguard? Soren, if Ezran's in danger, I need to know." Callum said to Soren, walking up to Soren, and grabbing Soren's shirt. "Is there a plot against the King?" Callum asked Soren.
"Whoa, jumping to conclouis a little there. You need to relax, Callum." Kalip said to Callum. "I will not relax until I figure out what's going on." Callum said to Kalip, as he let Soren go and walked away, with Yanmega following him.
"And a hundred!" Soren said, as he did a squat. "Uh, Soren, shouldn't you deal with that?" Kalip asked Soren. "Oh right. Callum, wait!" Soren called out to Callum, but it was too late, Callum was out of ear shot.
The Red Forest In Xadia
Back in Xadia, Janai was helping the Sunfire elves. "Amaya, this was no ambush, these are dancers!" Janai said to Amaya. Amaya then sign language a question to Janai. "Then why were they wielding fire whips?" Gren said, translating for Amaya.
"Those aren't whips. They're flame ribbons used in the dance." Janai said to Amaya, as she helped the female Sunfire Elf up and onto her feet, and Infernape helped up one of the Mienshao onto its feet.
"Go on, show her." Janai said to the female Sunfire Elf and the Mienshao. The female Sunfire Elf then picked up her ribbon, and set it on fire, as the Mienshao's hands became encased in fire. Then the two of them started to dance.
This made Amaya cover her mouth out of surprise about what she did. "This is a traditional Sunfire Elf Ceremony, with a new Pokemon style added to it." Janai said to Amaya. Amaya then sign language a question to Janai. "What kind of ceremony?" Gren said, translating for Amaya. "The most important kind." Mizo said to Amaya, sign language as well.
Then Amaya looked at Janai, and noticed a lovely look in her eyes. This made Amaya smile. Then as everyone stepped away from them, Janai got on one knee. This surprised Amaya. Then Janai asked Amaya one of the most important questions in life, in sign language. Amaya hugged Janai, which meant yes. This made everyone smile.
"How did I do? W-Was my signing okay?" Janai asked Gren and Mizo. "I-It was beautiful!" Gren said to Janai. "Yes, our secret lesions have started to play off." Mizo said to Gren.
"But it was slightly off. You asked her to wrestle with you." Gren said to Janai, making Janai slim nervously. "But that sounds like something you two would do. Isn't that right my little Sisu." Thalia said to Janai, and asked the baby in her hands, while tickling her a little.
Sisu giggled with joy, as Amaya stood up. Amaya then sign language to Thalia. "I still can't believe you named your baby girl after the Sisu from the story my nephews and their friends made up." Gren said, translating for Amaya. "Well it's a cute name. Plus I want her to be just as kind and as trusting of others as the Sisu in the story was." Thalia said to Amaya, as she held Sisu up in the air.
Amaya then sign language to Janai. "And Janai it was amazing." Gren said, translating for Amaya, as Amaya helped Janai up. Then the two of them kissed.
"This human she is marrying, she's a beast." one of the Sunfire Elf said to the other one. "I heard that…" Janai said to the Sunfire Elf, making both of the Sunfire elves gasp "And you're right. That's what I love about her." Janai said to the Sunfire Elves, before Amaya walked up to them.
Amaya then apologies to them in sign language before helping them up, at the same time, Blaziken and Lucario help the other Mienshao up.
The Cave Under The Storm Spire
Back in the cave under the Storm Spire. "After finding everything I needed, I came back to the cave. Aaravos gave me final instructions… and then the star caterpillar went into that chrysalis." Claudia said to Viren, as they looked at the cocoon.
"I had to complete the resurrection spell alone… and it worked." Claudia said to Viren before hugging him. "You're back!" Claudia said to Viren. "Huh, I-I'm here. I'm alive." Viren said to Claudia. That's when Claudia had a worried look on her face. "For now." Claudia said to Viren.
"What? Wh-What do you mean, "for now"?" Viren asked Claudia, as he broke the hug. Claudia then turned away from Viren. "The magic is only temporary. That's why parts of your body can fall off and can be reattached easily. Because it's not permanent." Claudia said to Viren, not looking at Viren.
"Ah. I see." Viren said to Claudia. "This spell will only bring you back for 30 days." Claudia said to Viren. This made Viren lower his head. "But dad, there is a way to make it permanent. Aaravos can do it. H-He told me he can save you!" Claudia said to Viren, as she got close to Viren, and placed a hand on his heart.
"And when do we expect our Startouch savior to emerge from that mystic chrysalis?" Viren asked Claudia, grabbing her shoulders. "N-Never. That's not Aaravos. Aaravos is trapped in a magical prison somewhere. Even he doesn't know where it is. All he knows is that his warden has been absent for some unknown reason for a while now, so now is his best chance for him to escape. We need to find him and free him." Claudia to Viren, walking to the cocoon.
"In 30 days." Viren said, before looking at the ground. "Yes." Claudia said to Viren, making Viren sigh and put a hand on his head. "It's… it's hopeless." Viren said to Claudia.
"There is one wired hope. The last thing Aaravos told me before the caterpillar went in there was… "The being that emerges from the chrysalis will guide you to one who has answers"." Claudia said to Viren, trying to sound like Aaravos. "Being?" Viren asked Claudia. "Being." Claudia said to Viren, still trying to sound like Aaravos.
The Castle In Katolis
Back in the Castle, Callum was walking through the Castle, still agitated from his talk with Soren, with Yanmega following him. "W-Wait up! Step-mage, let- let's talk!" Soren said to Callum, as he and Hawlucha ran after Callum.
That's when Soren noticed Corvus and Drake talking to some people, with Samurott and Staraptor out with them. Soren then forced a cough, getting their attention. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's the rush?" Corvus asked Callum, walking to Callum. But Callum walked past him. But Drake held out a hand and stopped Callum.
"What's bugging you?" Drake asked Callum. "Soren told me everything." Callum said to everyone. "Everything?" Corvus asked Soren. "Everything about the secret plot that the Crownguard is working to… thwart!" Soren said to everyone.
"R-Right. Callum, w-we need your help with the…" Corvus said to Callum, but lost his train of thought. "Th-The thwarting! The thwarting." Soren said to Callum. "Uh, maybe we can go somewhere quiet to talk about this…" Corvus said to Callum. "Plot. Against the King!" Soren said to Corvus, making Drake and Corvus slap a hand into their face.
"Just stop talking." Drake said to Soren. "I'll help any way I can. Let's go to the High Mage's Office, which is, uh, my office." Callum said to everyone. "Yes. Let's go there now." Drake said to Callum, as they moved to Callum's office.
Once they were in Callum's office, Corvus closed the door. "If Ezran is in danger, you need to tell me what's going on, now." Callum said to everyone. "Well, I'm not sure where to start." Soren said to Callum. "Yes, this is a very fragile situation." Drake said to Callum.
"You know who knows the most of the details? Corvus!" Soren said to Callum. "Uh, I have a quick question first. I've always wondered, uh…" Corvus said, before looking at the room, and noticed the mirror.
"What's under that cover?" Corvus asked Drake. "Oh, it's uh- It's something Lord-." Callum said to everyone, before sputtering a little. "The previous High Mage left behind. A mirror with ancient runes on it. I'm convinced there's a deeper secret here, if I can just figure out what it is or what it does." Callum said to everyone, as Soren and Corvus had a silent argument with each other.
"That does sound very interesting." Coruvs said to Callum, as Soren shook his head and mm-hm. "Yeah. Very interesting." Soren said to Callum. "My Aunt Amaya has managed to locate a rare book In Xadia, a Tome of Translation, and she's sent it, but I'm still waiting for it." Callum said to everyone.
"That book also sounds very interesting." Corvus said to Callum, as Soren played with Callum's cube. "Oh, uh, super. Super interesting." Soren said to Callum. "It is! As soon as it gets here, I'm gonna be able to- Wait, wait. Are you trying to stall me?" Callum asked everyone, as he moved to Soren.
"You know, I'm very passionate about this stuff." Callum said to everyone, as he took the cube from Soren. "And I'm happy for you Callum. You're doing amazing work. But I'm worried about you messing with things that should be left forgotten. Like that mirror for example." Drake said to Callum.
"But we don't even know what this thing is." Callum said to Drake. "But we found it in a creepy dark room in the back of the dungeon with a lot of strange or broken stuff and a chair to just sit there, like he just stared at that mirror in the dark. It's really creepy." Drake said to Callum. "So, Viren liked studying this thing in a private room, I don't see what's the problem with that." Callum said to Drake, before looking out the window.
Then Callum gasped. This made everyone move to the window. And they saw Ezran's room go dark and the door to his balcony close. "The King's Tower went dark! Ezran's in trouble!" Callum said to everyone, before jumping out the window. "Mana Pluma Volantus!" Callum said, as his arm turned into wings.
"Uh, did he just…" Soren asked everyone. "Yes. Take the long way. I'm going after him." Drake said, as he returned Samurott to the Pokeball in the middle of his belt, and jumped out the window as well, riding his staff, with Yanmega following Drake.
Callum then landed on Ezran's balcony before Drake and Yanmega could reach him. "Ezran, I'm coming!" Callum said, as he rushed to Ezran's room, and Drake landed on the balcony. "Callum, wait!" Drake said, as he rushed after Callum with Yanmage.
Callum then opened the door to Ezran's room, his lighting spell ready to go. "Ez? Are you there?" Callum asked, as he used his lighting spell as a ball of light in the pitch black room.
Then a bell ding, as Drake entered the room. "Callum, wait, it's not what you think." Drake said, as he and Yanmega ran into the room.
That's when the lights turned on, and a large number of humans, elves, and Pokemon, young and old, were in the room. "Surprise!" Everyone said to Callum, surprising Callum and making him zap the rug.
"What?" Callum asked everyone. "Happy birthday, big brother!" Ezran said to Callum, as Callum noticed Ezran next to him, with only Lycanroc out with him. Then Ezran hugged Callum.
"Did you forget today was your birthday?" Drake asked Callum, as he and Yanmega walked up to Callum, and Drake let out his Pokeball. "I can't believe this!" Callum said to everyone.
Then Ezran wiggled his finger and music started to play. "Have a mystical, magical birthday. Have a wonderful, whimsical birthday. Have a fun and fantastical birthday. With wishes and kisses. And laughing and love." Everyone sang to Callum.
That's when they heard heavy footsteps. Everyone turned their heads to see Soren running into the room. "Surpi- Oh. I missed it." Soren said to everyone. "Better luck next time Soren." Kaliq said to Soren, as he walked up to Soren, and pat Soren on the back.
The Cave Under The Storm Spire
Back in the cave under the Storm Spire, Viren was passing, understanding the plan. "So to refresh: we have one month to find a magical prison that's been hidden for centuries. And then, we have to figure out how to break out the ancient being trapped in that prison, or else, I will die?" Viren asked Claudia.
"Well, to be clear, it's 30 days. Just to make sure you don't think it's a 31-day month, because… we don't get the extra day." Claudia said to Viren, making Viren sighed. "It's hard to imagine things getting any worse." Viren said to Claudia, making Claudia groan.
"I know, right? Oh, wait! Uh, one more thing, I almost forgot." Claudia said to Viren, making Viren look at her. "I want you to meet my new boyfriend." Claudia said to Viren. "Terry!" Claudia called out, before giggling a little.
That's when a slim Earthblood Elf with brown skin and white, swirled markings stretching across his chest. His ears are long and are tilted upward, while his upward-curved horns are black with light green tips. Keeping it short and flowing towards the back of his head, his thick, green hair is brushed over sideways from the right side of his head, while strands frame his face. Thick in nature, his eyebrows match his hair in color, while his slim eyes are colored in a shade of brown. Terry's clothing of choice consists of a brown leather corset with long sleeves, topped by a lightly colored shirt decorated with symbols resembling his markings. A leather shoulder protection is attached to his right shoulder and connected to his chest piece. A dark green pair of pants is kept in place by a belt of vines with leaves attached to it, while his feet are covered by brown shoes, also adorned with leaves. Additionally, he wears a pair of glasses crafted from branches, and bandages around his ankles.
The sight of Claudia's made Viren's jaw drop, but the fact that he was an elf made Viren's jaw actually drop to the floor. "Yes, um, hello. The name Terry. Uh, like she said." Terry said to Viren, as he took off his glasses and walked towards them.
That's when Terry picked up Viren's jaw and put it back on Viren. "It's short for "Terrestrius"." Very traditional Earthblood Elf name. Bit old-fashioned, you know, but my friends call me Terry, and you… can call me Terry. May I call you Viren?" Terry asked Viren, as he held out for a hand shake.
But Viren just gave him a mean look instead of a hand shake. "Lord… Uh, sir… Claudia's dad?" Terry asked Viren. Viren said nothing and crossed his arms. "Very well. Anywho, your daughter's amazing. I mean, y-you know that, you're her dad. And, like, she brought you back from the dead. Wow! Right." Terry said to Viren, before cuckling.
But Viren kept giving him that mean look. "Well…" Terry said, before clearing his throat. "Trees to meet you." Terry said to Viren, as he bowed to Viren. Terry then moved back to Claudia. "I think it went well." Terry said to Claudia. "Still a idiot Terrestrius." A male voice said to Terry.
That's when everyone turned to the back of the cave to see Grav leaning against the back of the cave. He had the same hair and mark on his head, but the chimes hanging from his forms were gone, but he was also wearing a brown raggedy like robe with a single strap backpack on his back, and he still had his staff.
"I know you. Your Grav right?" Viren asked Grav. "Yes, and thanks to you failing so spectacularly. I lost everything." Grav said to Viren. "What is he talking about?" Viren asked Claudia.
"You didn't tell him?" Grav asked Claudia. Claudia shook her head. "After the Twins killed you. They turned the whole world upside down. They've spent the last two years bringing Humans, Elves, and Dragons together to throw Pokemon and their flights. And the worst thing they did was, they exposed my lies and took everything from me. Even turning my own son against me. But you know what it feels like to have your own son turn against you." Grav said to Viren, walking up to Viren.
"They have?" Viren said, as he processed what the Twins have been doing for the last two years. "But why are you here?" Viren asked Grav. "One of the things Claudia needed to bring you back was in my possession. I took a good number of important stuff as I fled. And Aaravos promised me the glory that was always meant for me if I help him. And now that you're here, we can finally free him and I can get extremely far away from you all." Grav said to Viren, as he turned his back to Viren.
"Come on Grav it hasn't been that bad." Terry said to Grav. "Well it has been for me. And if it wasn't for the fact we need a Dark Mage for any of this. And Claudia wasn't the last one. I would have let the beast finish her off and found someone else, Terrestrius. Instead I have to help keep her from getting mauled by those Pokemon beasts like a stupid bodyguard." Grav said to Terry.
"Wait? What do you mean the last one?" Viren asked Grav. "Drake's Black Dragonflight has figured out a way to give humans real magic, not your sick Dark Magic, so the need for Dark Mages was over. As a result of this, he outlawed anything related to Dark Magic. And if any Dark Mage didn't surrender to the authorities, they were to be killed on sight. This means, all the Dark Mages, minus Claudia, are either locked up in a prison or are dead. Now, you two are the only Dark mages left on the planet that can do what Aaravos wants." Grav said to Viren.
"What?" Viren said, processing Grav's words. "Okay everyone, let's focus on the task at hand. After all, we're going to be a team for the next 30 days. So let's all try and get along with each other. OK?" Claudia asked everyone. "The last thing I want is to get along with any of you." Grav said to everyone, before walking away.
"Okay, see you later Grav." Terry said to Grav. "I think he's warming up to us." Terry said to Claudia. "I'm not, Terrestrius!" Grav said to Terry from the other side of the cave.
The Castle In Katolis
Back in the Castle, everyone was enjoying Callum's surprise birthday party. Ezran, Drake, Corvus, Rihon, Opeli, and their Pokemon were watching some kid humans and elves doing the dance Soren did. "All the kids are doing it. Soren was right." Opeli said, groaning a little. "It's rare. You know what they say. A broken clock is right twice a day." Rihon said to Opeli.
Then they noticed the Associate Crow Lord chatting with a lady. "Oh, you hadn't heard? I just got promoted. Associate Crow Lord. Yeah, finally a little respect." The Associate Crow Lord said to the lady, not noticing the lady walking away in annoyance. \
"Yo- I'll talk to you later!" The Associate Crow Lord said to the lady. "And he still has no luck with the ladies." Rihon said to everyone, as Ezran, Drake, Lycanroc, and Samurott walked over to Bait, who was on the bed.
"Hey, Bait, have you seen the birthday mage? I haven't seen him in a while." Ezran asked Bait. "Yeah, he's missing his big party." Drake said to Bait. Bait turned gray and looked out at the balcony.
Ezran and Drake then turned their heads, and saw Callum on the balcony with Yanmega and Gliscor out of their Pokeballs. "Should have a guest." Drake said, before he, Ezran, Lycanroc, and Samurott walked out to them.
"You doing okay?" Ezran asked Callum, as they reached him. "Yeah." Callum said to Ezran. "You don't look okay." Drake said to Callum. "Why aren't you celebrating? Barius and Alcremie made your special birthday treat. Pineapple Right-side-up Cake!" Ezran asked Callum.
Callum then sighed. "It's not really my birthday anymore. Not to me. It'll never be the same." Callum said to everyone. "Because of Rayla." Ezran said to Callum. "To me, this will always just be the anniversary… of the day she left." Callum said to everyone.
"Gliscor." Gliscor said, as she hugged Callum. "I'm sure she never meant to hurt you like that." Drake said to Callum. "Maybe. But she did anyway." Callum said to Drake, as he looked away from everyone.
"Callum, you still love her, don't you?" Ezran asked Callum, making Callum look up at the. "I don't even if she's alive. Allen had people looking for her, but nothing." Callum said to everyone. "She's alive. And wherever she is… she loves you, too." Ezran said to Callum.
"I believe Ezran's right. She left to protect you. I'm sure one day she'll come home to you. For now all we can do is pray to Arceus, and hope that she comes home soon and is alright." Drake said to everyone. But then Callum started to cry a little, and everyone then hugged Callum, trying their best to make him feel better.

One when I mention Dragon Heads, it's a title Allen and Drake gave to one Human, Elf, and Dragon. They represent the other Humans, Elves, and Dragons in the Flights and act as Allen and Drake councilors and are in charge when Allen and Drake aren't around.
Two, I want you all to know, when I picked their characters' new Pokemon, my thought process was, something that they could ride in the sky or whatever I felt like, so every Pokemon I chose to give them was based on what I felt like giving them, no big or secret reason. (And as you might have figured it out, I also gave Allen and Drake 5 new pokemon as well, the reason was I felt like doing that. And in the next chapter you'll meet Allen 5 new Pokemon.)
