Five days later at Era, the Magic Council
"Eisenwald may have been destroyed, but the source of the problem still remains!" a council member exclaimed rather loudly as he looked at his colleagues. The Magic Council had gathered to discuss the recent events, mainly the destruction of Eisenwald, "The dark guild are still too many!"
"Then we must find a way to eradicate them all at once!" another one suggested making some of them sigh at his idiocy and the ridiculous idea.
"And how do you think we should do that?" Yajima asked his fellow Council member, wanting to know of how to do such a plan.
"Anyway, it'd be intolerable if Zeref's magic fell into their hands again!" Org said as he tapped the ground with his staff.
"How could they obtain such magic that easily in the first place?" Yajima asked in clear disbelief.
"Responsibility for it goes all the way up to the administration." Michello stated.
"In any case..." Every person in the room turned to the owner of the voice to see Siegrain who had a smile on his face, "It seems that this time, we were saved by that thorn in our side, Fairy Tail."
"They destroyed an entire dark guild with only 5 or 6 people. They are extremely powerful." Ultear added with a small smile, "although I heard that a certain someone is mostly responsible for the defeat of the Grim Reaper, Erigor, and Lullaby itself."
"I know you have trouble admitting it, but it's a fact. If Lullaby had killed the Guild Masters, the situation would've been very serious. It would've cost the heads of many of us here." Siegrain stated, eliciting growls from them.
"Nonsense! You're saying that the Council is also responsible?!" one of the nine members exclaimed angrily.
"I've heard enough! Their tendency for wanton destruction has once again given me a headache!" Org shouted with tick marks on his head, "We must do something about this!"
"In other words, we'll repay them Kindly..." Siegrain smirked.
Meanwhile at Magnolia. At a house by the local river stream. Lucy is found living in the room as she has rented it as her place to stay. The blonde is currently sitting by her table and is in the middle of scribbling down a letter with her quill pen.
"The incident with Eisenwald aiming for the Guild Masters during their regular meeting made big headlines in the newspapers and everyone in the country learned of it," Lucy writes down on a piece of paper as scribbled down her thoughts. "I never thought I'd find myself involved in such a huge event. But ultimately, it hasn't changed much in my life at all. Though sometimes I become quite excited when I think back on it. I heard that Erigor and his guild were arrested by the Magic Council as their guild was disbanded for good and also, I'm a part of one of the strongest teams in Fairy Tail! well, that's that. I'll be sure to tell you everything about my next adventure next time, Mama. So, don't worry about me while you're there. P.S. please don't tell Papa"
She then let out a sigh before folding her letter then seal it with a wax stamp.
"adventures are great but relaxing at home feels way better!" Lucy said with a relaxed sigh. She then smiles while looking at her surroundings. "staying at Natsu and Cana's place was nice and all, but having a place for yourself sure is nicer."
"you found a good pad, huh?" a voice spoke in the room as Lucy's eyes widen and she turned around to see who spoke and it was Gray. "looks like this is a good place to hang, Lucy!"
"INTRUDER!" Lucy exclaimed as she sent a kick to Gray's chest. "AND IT'S A PERVERT!"
"GUAAAAAHHH!" Gray was thrown off to the floor before he recovered himself as he held a hand to her. "Wait, Lucy! I was in my boxers before I got here!"
"I don't care! get out!" Lucy exclaimed, not getting used to Gray's striping antics.
"you sure?" Gray replied while turning to the side and crossing his arms on his chest. "and here I was nice enough to come and get you."
"Eh?" Lucy said confused "what do you mean?"
"come on, you will know when we arrive at the guild" Gray replied while reaching to the front door and then looks at Lucy. "we might miss it"
"Okay, But first…" Lucy replied before she points at him "PUT ON YOUR CLOTHES, YOU PERVERT!"
Gray looked down and saw that his cloth was still not on him "WHERE DID IT GO!?"
At Fairy Tail, everyone is outside the guild as they are all surrounding Natsu and Erza who stood in the middle. Lucy came running in as she went through the crowd and see the two.
"Natsu and Erza are going to fight!?" Lucy exclaimed in shock. "but why!?"
"it's more of a spar than a fight, Lucy" Lisanna said as she came near her.
"a spar?" Lucy said before seeing Elfman stand behind Lisanna
"you probably don't know this, but before Natsu became an S-Class. He always fights against Erza to match up against her." Elfman said to Lucy. "This becomes a usual thing between the two."
"you're saying that they always fight when they have a chance?" Lucy sweatdropped. "just for that they are fighting?"
"Wouldn't that be something normal to see?" Mira said, the She-devil is sitting by a betting board with Cana and Conny. The Majin carrying Conny while Cana is handling money from those who are betting on the fight's result. "those two always try to get the up on the other and it's been that way before either of them became S-Class mages." She then huffs a bit. "but even if they keep on fighting. I'm still far more stronger than that glutton redhead."
"in your dreams, Mirajane" Erza said, as she heard Mira's words. "you won't last a minute when against me!"
"What did you say!?" Mira exclaimed as she and Erza got near each other, both started glaring while butting heads. Conny being taken away by Levy who retreated from the possible cat fight.
"there they go again" Lisanna said with a sweatdrop behind her head in seeing the two's rivalry against one another.
"still, this is a fight that may be the clincher to their endless draws." Gray spoke out while coming into the scene, this time with his clothes on. "those two after all got a battle score about 99 times and they are all draws."
"99 times!? they've been fighting for that long!?" Lucy asks in shock.
"those two gets the ups on each other from time to time and it always ends with no winner." Elfman said before he grins. "But this might be Natsu's win considering that he's been training while Erza was away. He got a chance! He's a man after all!"
"isn't that obvious?" Lucy sweatdropped.
"let's end this draw of ours, Erza." Natsu said while punching a fist to an open palm which let out a spark of flames. "I've been getting stronger and I can finally get a win against you!"
"very well." Erza said, the scarlet knight finished butting heads with Mira as she went and faces Natsu while smiling. "I've been seeing your strength during the battle against Eisenwald and you have improved from back then." her armor glows and in a flash it was switched with a red armor and a large red great sword. "I'll be going all out!"
"that's the Flame Empress Armor!" "an Anti-fire armor, huh?" "guess it's defense against offense, huh?" the crowd chattered amongst one another.
"this is just a spar! No killing move allowed!" Makarov exclaimed as he sat on a barrel while having a mug of beer in hand. The old man being the judge for the battle as he would end it when he sees it fit. "ready!?" he raises a hand and this made Natsu and Erza got ready into a battle stance. "BEGIN!"
In an instant, Erza dashes straight for Natsu who grins at her coming. The Scarlet knight swung her sword to the right but it was a feint for her to attack from the left.
"so fast!" Lucy exclaimed as Natsu stayed in his place and sees the incoming attack which he dodges by crouching forward and closing the distance between him and Erza. "Natsu is the same as well!"
"raaah!" Natsu swung a fist upward and Erza dodges it as it went pass the side of her face. The young man didn't stop as he followed his attack by slamming his other hand to the ground and then swinging his legs up for a kick. "then this!"
Erza pulls her head back and dodges the kicks before she proceeds to do a few back flips to put some distance between her and Natsu who stands with one hand before he proceeds to spin and burst into flames.
"what's that!?" Lucy exclaimed in shock as many of the spectators wowed to see Natsu's moves when he became a flaming spinning top that went straight for Erza.
"He learned to do that when he and Cana went to safe a tribe west of Magnolia." Elfman said with a grin. "The place is known for their dancing magic and he learned how to do that by watching them."
"The technique was hard to watch, but it's damn effective as an offensive and defensive attack." Gray added in as everyone sees the flaming top barraging against Erza who defends with her sword that is getting pushed back.
"is this really a something that those two do?!" Lucy asks in shock as Natsu reappears from the flaming top, the Fire Dragon Slayer slams his fists and they ignited in flames. The Salamander grins before he dashes straight for Erza who returned the action in kind. "is this really a normal thing!?"
"just relax and enjoy it" Lisanna said while holding a tray of drinks for some of the guild members who had ordered the refreshments.
Everyone went and started to cheer as the fight was a blast for them to watch.
"Take this, Erza!" Natsu shouted as he raises the firepower of his right fist's flames that slowly turns blazing blue.
"Then have this!" Erza exclaimed, the scarlet knight readying her red sword that blazes in fire.
The two went straight for each other as they readied their attacks for a clash but just as they were about to close the distance and deliver their blows. A loud gong was heard as this made everyone stop and freeze.
"that is far enough!" a loud voice hollered out as everyone turns to the source of the voice and they see a Council Messenger frogman came walking in with the accompany of three Rune Soldiers.
"Why is a magic council messenger here?" Jet said in confusion.
"did someone in the guild broke a law again?" Droy added in, thinking of the reason why a messenger came.
"is that what you guys are commenting on!?" Lucy exclaimed in shock.
"is Master Makarov present?" the Council Messenger frog asks while looking around the area.
"I am here." Makarov replied as he sighs while going to the frogman with a bored looking face. "how can I help the council?"
"We are here regarding the capture of Eisenwald and Lullaby incident," the messenger frog said while turning to face everyone and showing a scroll that was opened. "for the eleven crimes committed during the recent Eisenwald incident, including the destruction of property." He then points a finger at Erza. "Fairy Tail Wizard; Erza Scarlet. You are hereby under arrest!"
"wha?" Erza made a confused noise.
"Eh!?" everyone exclaimed in shock and surprised.
"They're here to arrest Erza?! Why?!" Lucy said in surprise. "why!?"
Moments later, The once loud and cheerful guild was now in dead silence and worry. The mages of Fairy Tail were all inside sitting in front of tables, heads either laying on their hands or on the tables. None of them talked to each other. For the first time in a while, Fairy Tail, the guild that was said to be the loudest and carefree guild in the world, was silent.
"Something is really fishy here." Lucy said, sitting by a table with Gray, Levy, Jet, and Droy. "Can't we do anything?"
"No we can't!" Makarov said as he sat cross-legged on the bar counter. "no one do anything, alright?"
"What are you saying, Master? Once they reach the verdict, it will too late!" Lucy said as she tried convincing Makarov to help Erza.
"It doesn't matter how fast we are. We won't make it in time." Makarov replied.
"But can't we tell them?" Lucy said as she frowned.
"Don't be ridiculous. This is the council we're talking about." Gray responded. He sighed, placing his elbow on the table and resting his head on his hand. "Even if someone's innocent, once a council member says the opposite, then you're guilty."
"But why?" Elfman wondered out loud, "We've done many things in the past, so why this time?"
"Yeah...I just don't understand." Laki added, frowning in confusion.
By the bar with Makarov, Natsu and Cana were just sitting around as they also had the same looks with the others, but the Card Mage had to make herself look calm and smiling for her daughter who she is playing with on her lap.
"Mama!" Conny babbles out in giggles to Cana who smiles while caressing her child's head and then leaning down to give her a kiss on the forehead. "mama~!"
Natsu listens to his daughter's giggles, the Salamander glancing and seeing his wife doing her best to make sure that Conny doesn't cry because of Erza being missing. Him knowing that his child would cry whenever something didn't feel right for her. he stares at his wife and daughter before he looks up at the ceiling and breathes in the air then let out a quite loud exhale that got some people's attention.
"alright!" Natsu said as he got off the bar's seat and then stretched his arms up. "time to head home for the day!" he turns and looks at his wife and daughter. "let's go back home, Cana."
"wait a minute, Natsu! You're seriously not going to do anything!?" Lucy cried out to the Salamander who went and carried Conny who was passed into his arms by Cana. "Erza was taken away, you know!?"
"I know and what can I do?" Natsu asks while patting Conny's back, the little girl babbling while playing with his scarf. "Gramps told us that we can't do anything and therefore we should just stay back." he then raises an eyebrow while looking at Lucy. "also, I don't think I want to do anything since it'll make Conny cry."
"Still!" Lucy cried out but Gray went and stopped her. "Gray?"
"he's right, you know?" the ice maker wizard told her. "even if we could go and storm the Council to save Erza. It'll lead to some trouble coming for the guild."
"The guy not only worries for the guild, but he also got to worry for his own kid." Elfman added in while coming nearby. He along with Gray and Lucy and the rest of the guild watch Natsu and Cana leaving the guild through the front door. "Can't blame him for getting his priorities straight."
"still…" Lucy muttered out with a frown.
"We just got to wait and see what will happen, Lucy." Mira told the blonde while cleaning a glass mug behind the bar. "that's all we can do."
Lucy looks at Mira for a moment before she frowns and looks down.
At the Magic Council of the Fiore Branch.
Erza was walking in the hallway while being accompanied by the Council Messenger frogman. The scarlet knight was silent as she is being escorted to the trial room but she stops when she saw Siegrain appearing by the corner of her eye. The man leaning against the wall while having his arms crossed and seeming to be waiting for her after seeing that he smiled when he saw her.
"Siegrain!?" Erza exclaimed in surprise to see the man.
"Long time no see, Erza" Siegrain greeted her while walking to her. the council frogman quickly kneeling down after seeing the higher ranked member of the council appearing. "Been a while, hasn't it?"
Erza steps back and then glares at Siegrain who chuckles
"relax, Erza. it's just a thought projection" Siegrain said as his body went transparent from a passing moment. "my body is still at Era and so are the others at the court."
"state your business" Erza said to him while squinting her eyes.
Siegrain smiled to her as he walks over and stood at her side.
"don't be that harsh, I'm on Fairy Tail's side" Siegrain said as he smirks "the others however share different opinions though."
Siegrain then turns around to look at Erza
"they plan to make someone else take the fall with a scapegoat" Siegrain said as Erza just turns and glares at him.
"SHUT UP!" Erza growls.
"oh well" Siegrain said with a shrug "I just wanted to see you before the trial" he then leans his finger to Erza's chin as he lifts her face up a bit "to warn you" He then leans his face to her ear "don't say anything about the past to them" he squinted his eyes "for both our sakes"
Erza clicks her tongue before she pulled her head away from Siegrain who chuckles before he turns and begins walking to the door.
"I'll be waiting with the others at the other side" Siegrain said as he stops and turns to smile at Erza while slowly turning transparent. "as a member of the council"
Siegrain then disappears as he leaves Erza with the frogman messenger who slowly lifted his head up after seeing the man disappearing.
"y-you know some powerful people, don't you?" the council messenger asked with some sweat going down his face.
"he's evil" Erza said as the council messenger was confused.
The scene changes as Erza now stands on a podium while facing the council members who were sitting on the jury table. The scarlet knight still in cuffs as she just stood in silence with her eyes closed before opened when she tilts her head up and looks at the council members.
"the accused, Erza Scarlet" Gran Doma, the leader of the council members called out her name while sitting on top of the juries' table. "Regarding the recent incident with Eisenwald and Lullaby, you're accused of having caused the damage to Oshibana Station, the destruction of the Guild Master's meeting hall and the destruction of the town near it. You're accused of all these acts of destruction, as according to the witness report collected, it claims that the suspect was an Armored Mage!"
Erza nodded her head to his statement as she was about to speak before the door behind her suddenly exploded.
"What is this!?" Gran Doma exclaimed as everyone got surprised.
Erza looks behind and her eyes widen in surprise when she sees a figure walking in the smoking dust explosion. The scarlet knight kept watch as the figure revealed itself to be Natsu who is walking towards her while holding up his right hand that is outstretched before lowered.
"y-you are!" Gran Doma exclaimed. "Natsu Dragneel!"
"yo, council geezer leader or whatever your name is." Natsu said as he pocketed his hands into his pants while passing by Erza who watches and follows him. "looks like you guys are having fun doing all this stuff, huh?"
"Natsu…why are you!?" Erza tried to tell him to go back to the guild but she was stopped by him who just shushes her.
"state your business here!" Gran Doma exclaimed loudly.
"What do you think I want here?" Natsu said while scratching his right ear. "I came here to pick up Erza and get her back to the guild. Isn't it obvious, geezer?"
"that woman is convicted of several crimes! This is a jury to administer the punishment and!" a council member exclaimed loudly but Natsu just ignored it by yawning.
"and you do it by using Erza as a scapegoat, right?" Natsu said as he looks at the earwax he picked from scratching his ear before he flicks it off. "you guys wanted to show the world that you guys are still in power and you do it by using a scapegoat. It took me a while to understand why you guys picked her to be the scapegoat." He then looks at the council with a mocking look. "and you guys should've done a better reading cause the one who did most of the damage was me."
"then are you saying that you are…" Michello spoke.
"try saying that I'll be taking Erza's place, you're damn wrong." Natsu said with an annoyed face. "if I come back home late, Cana will tell me to sleep on the couch and do a week of mopping. I don't want to do that." He waves a hand side to side in saying no. he then pocketed his hands into his pants. "I just came here to get Erza back home before dinner time. Just that."
"if you think that you can just go and…" Gran Doma spoke out before Natsu held up a magic card. "wha?"
"you guys should know that over the years, I've got a lot of people contacting me for the treasure and precious stuff that I found on my adventurers with my wife, right?" Natsu said while waving the cards in between his fingers. "a few are nobles and a few are high ranked officials from the Kingdom itself. You know what that means right?"
"are you threatening us!?" Michello exclaimed.
"if that's what I need to do to get you guys off our backs, then yes." Natsu said as he held up the magic card that shows a telephone symbol. "so here's the deal, I'll help you guys make a story that you guys got the culprit who caused the destruction from Oshibana to Clover with a friend of mine on the newspaper making business. You'll leave us be and don't try to do anything stupid. Deal?"
"We will not do anything! We will!" Michello exclaimed angrily before Gran Doma slams the mallet twice on the table which surprised him. "wha?"
"very well." Gran Doma spoke out. "you may take Erza Scarlet back to your guild, but we shall be sending you the repair and compensation bill for all the destruction that you've caused from Oshibana to Clover along with the destroyed door. Shall that be satisfactory?"
"fine with me." Natsu said after shrugging his shoulders. "but don't you lot try to drain me dry cause I can still be troublesome even without money." he turns and waves a hand to the side. "well, I'll be off with Erza now."
"very well. This trial is dismissed." Gran Doma said as he slams the mallet to the table once again and announced the trial to be finished. The council members started to vanish as they were all mere Thought Projections.
"let's go, Erza." Natsu told the scarlet knight who watches him pass by her. "let's get back home before Conny learns that you're gone and all."
"but still.." Erza spoke before her handcuffs were destroyed in a burst of flames which happened when the Salamander snaps his fingers once.
"let's just go." Natsu said as he walks over the rubble of the destroyed door. "we can talk on the way home."
Erza was silent for a moment before she went and followed after Natsu.
outside and on their way back to Fairy Tail.
Natsu and Erza were walking down a path as they are heading down the street in the town of where the Council Branch building is located.
"so? how and when did you get here?" Erza spoke to Natsu who had yawned.
"I rode Catastoras here and I got in after beating some frog guys head." Natsu said while scratching the back of his head. "they wouldn't let me in, so I knocked some senses into them."
"You've just made more trouble for us all." Erza said after sighing and facepalming. She then looks back at Natsu. "but still, I'm surprised that Cana didn't come with you or try to stop you."
"oh, she didn't because I didn't tell her." Natsu said with a glance to Erza. "after I got her and Conny back to our house. I instantly went and got here with Catastoras' help."
"Why did I ever ask?" Erza facepalmed and shakes her head. "I have to make sure that Conny-chan doesn't grow up to be flamboyant and troublemaking like you."
"nah, Conny will grow up like Cana." Natsu said after scratching his nose. "after all, Conny got more attention with her mama instead of her papa." He then looks rather hurt. "sure sucks to have a daughter that doesn't love her papa that much."
Erza shakes her head after sighing before she smiles.
"even if she has more attachment to Cana, I still hope that Conny-chan inherit some of your good and kind nature." Erza said after chuckling a bit. "though not your denseness and stuff."
"is that a compliment or a damn insult?" Natsu said annoyed.
"both." Erza replied before smirking a bit. "albeit it's more of the latter."
"damn you! Who the hell calls me dense!? Was it Gray!?" Natsu shouted all angrily. "that jerk is going to get it once we get back!"
As Natsu goes on rambling about wanting to punch Gray's face and Erza laughing, the two keeps on walking as they goes straight for the path that leads to their town and home.
Sometime later, at Fairy Tail guild hall.
Everyone started to gather around Erza as they were all glad that she is back safe and sound.
"Seriously, the whole arrest just got pardoned when you got there? What is the council thinking?!" Lucy said, annoyed by the fact that the council got everyone scared that Erza got arrested and might be sent to prison for life.
"I'm sorry I worried you all." Erza said with an apologetic smile.
"don't be. It's the council who are shrewd and all." Gray said while crossing his arms. "and it's also that flamebreath's fault for taking in all the fun."
"that's what you're annoyed with as well?" Levy sweatdropped.
"still, where is Natsu now?" Elfman asks. "he came back with you, right?"
"he said that he went home to think of a way to get Cana's apology and all." Erza stated as everyone looks up to an imagination bubble showing a chibi Natsu going back to his house where an angry Chibi Cana is waiting for him. "without a doubt, Cana will be infuriated by his actions."
"definitely." Everyone nodded their heads in unison.
"being infuriated is one thing for Natsu, but we're also a bit infuriated that the redhead is the one getting picked." Mira said while cleaning up the mugs at the bar. "I guess they picked her because they know she is the most problematic member in the guild and the most annoyingly gluttonous one too. They should've kept her in jail for a day or two."
"what does that mean, Mirajane!?" Erza growls angrily. "they picked me because I am better than you who is a damn slut!"
"What did you say, bitch?!" Mira shouted before she and Erza went and started to brawl.
"and they started…" Lucy said as everyone went and got to safety. "won't they ever stopped?"
"I don't think so." Levy stated after shaking her head.
"looks like everything is a happy ending, right Master?" Lisanna said by the bar with Makarov who is nodding off which caught her attention. "Master?"
"He's back." Makarov muttered as he placed his mug down his lap.
Everyone started to feel drowsy as one by one, everyone started to fell asleep at where they are.
"T-That damn sandman..." Gray muttered before succumbing to slumber.
"Mys…togan" Erza said before falling asleep as well.
One by one everyone in the guild minus Makarov all fell asleep as several footsteps are heard coming from the front door. The Master of Fairy Tail looks up and sees someone in a hood and a cloak coming into the guild.
"Mystogan" Makarov spoke out in a mumble as the cloaked figure walks to the request board and takes a request paper
"I'll be going" Mystogan said as he showed the paper to Makarov.
"hey! undo your sleep spell on the others!" Makarov said as Mystogan turns around and started walking back to the front door..
"3…2…1" Mystogan counted down as he walks pass the front door and disappears. The mysterious man disappears and when he did, everyone who had fallen asleep started to wake up one by one.
"what was that?" Lucy said as she holds her head as she felt dizzy.
"was that Mystogan?" Elfman said while getting up from the floor.
"Mystogan?" Lucy said, not knowing who Mystogan is.
"one of the strongest in the guild" Levy replied. "he does this every time he comes back to the guild"
"and that's why no one has ever seen his face, except for Master" Gray added in while rubbing his forehead.
"isn't that suspicious!?" Lucy retorted.
"false" someone spoke out from the second floor as everyone looks up to see Laxus Dreyar who had a smirk down at everyone. "I know what Mystogan looks like"
"Laxus!?" Gray exclaimed.
"Since when did you get here?" Another guild mate asked.
"I pop in from time to time." Laxus replied
"Who's that?" Lucy whispered to Levy.
"Laxus Dreyar, one of the strongest Fairy Tail mage whose level goes beyond Erza and Mira" Levy replied as she narrowed his eyes up at the man.
"regarding that comment Gray, I HAVE seen Mystogan too." Laxus said with a smug look. "he's just shy, so stop nosing into his private business" He then saw Lucy who with the others "you must be the new recruit," he smirks a bit. "I don't care if Natsu invited you in, but this ain't no place for the likes of you"
"leave Lucy alone, Laxus! Or I'l-" Gray exclaimed before Laxus stopped him mid-sentence
"or what, Gray? You gonna fight me? How are you going to do that if you can't even beat Erza or even Natsu himself?" Laxus asked him. "he's an S-class unlike you and he's possibly going to be far stronger than Erza herself."
"what does that supposed to mean!?" Erza said with a glare with a red angry aura behind her.
"calm down, Erza!" Levy told the scarlet knight.
"it means that I'm stronger than you!" Laxus said with a smug grin "some of you got S-class tittles but I'm still the strongest!"
Everyone had hardened glares at Laxus as he is one mage who likes to provoke others who he claims to be weaker than him.
"well then, I'm going to another job." Laxus turns and walks away. "see ya later flies."
In a flash of lightning, Laxus disappears from the guild that is left with the members just commenting about the blonde man.
Makarov sighs as he then drinks his mug of beer by the bar.
"what am I going to do with that boy?" Makarov asked in his mind as he saw that everyone was a bit pissed at Laxus's comments, he took his drink of beer and coughs out to get everyone's attention. "that is enough, let's just put it aside"
Everyone looks at Makarov before they decided to follow his orders and just went with what they want to do.
At the Dragneel's Home.
Natsu went and returned home after getting Erza back. the Salamander is currently in his house's living room. The fire dragon slayer lies on a couch and looks at the ceiling while Happy is on the carpeted floor and playing wooden building blocks with Conny.
"I'm so going to be sore sleeping on the couch tonight." Natsu said in a lazy and tired voice. The Dragon Slayer just got an earful scolding from Cana who was fuming mad at him for going off and getting into trouble. Right now, the card mage went off to take a cold shower to cool off after telling her husband that he'll be sleeping on the couch at night. "should've tried to wait things out instead of making things worse, huh?"
"well, you did say that you didn't want Conny to cry when she realizes Erza is gone, right?" Happy asks as he picks up a wooden cube block and then place it on top of another then watches Conny look around for another building block to stack it. "and you said that you'll take on the whole scolding from Cana, right?"
"it sounded nice and all at first, but after getting that much scolding from Cana…" Natsu said as he turns and lies sideways on the couch. "I'm kinda regretting it already."
"but it's a good thing that Erza is back to the guild, right?" Happy said while watching Conny stack a triangle building block on top of the two first cubes. "and we're all back together, right?"
"I guess so.." Natsu said as he stares at the ceiling before sighing. "glad that things didn't end up with me getting another scolding from gramps and the others." he then gets up and then went to pick up Conny into his arms. "sure hope you grow up be like Cana, Conny. If you grow up like me, you'll get scolded by your Mama all day long."
"ba?" Conny let out a confused noise as she was confused as to what her father was telling her.
"Though if you grow up to be like your Mama, you might be a heavy drinker like her." Natsu said as he sat down and place his daughter on his lap. The salmon haired mage started to play with his daughter by gently and repeatedly pressing two fingers to her chubby baby cheeks and getting her to giggle in delight. "I got nothing on drinking, but they can really put some pounds on you if you drink too much."
"Natsu, you shouldn't really say that kind of stuff to girls, you know?" Happy said as the blue cat sprouted his wings and hovers near him. "especially to your own daughter."
"just giving her an advice." Natsu said as he lifted Conny up and down on his lap, the baby girl giggling and squealing in delight. "if she does become like Cana and is a drinker, I don't want her to drink too much cause she could become heavy and all."
"so you're saying that I'm fat, Natsu?" Cana's sweet and nice voice is heard as Natsu instantly turned pale white. "Is that it?"
"C-Cana…" Natsu slowly turns his head to the living room's doorway as he sees Cana standing there while only wearing a loose white bathrobe. The card mage surrounded in a purplish white aura that flares like fire that grew ominous. "y-you were listening?"
"to every single word." Cana said as she looks very angry at Natsu due to the fact that one of her eyebrow is twitching and a tick mark appearing on her forehead. "here I planned to forgive you for getting into trouble with the council just to get Erza back, but after hearing what you told Conny…" the card mage glares down at the Salamander who is now shaking in fear. "I changed my mind."
"w-well…that's…umm…" Natsu tried to explain himself but he is failing to do so considering that he is afraid of his angry wife. "I was just….you know…that…um…"
"Aye. He was just saying that you've gained weight from drinking too much." Happy said and Natsu snapped at him in shock and having a look of pure betrayal. "he told Conny not to become like you cause he doesn't want a daughter who is heavier than she looks."
'YOU DAMN BETRAYOR OF A CAT!' Natsu screams internally.
"ho? is that so?" Cana said as she had more tick marks appearing on her forehead. The card mage slowly coming closer to her husband as the aura around her body just grew large and fierce. "Happy, it's time for Conny's afternoon nap. Take her upstairs, will you?"
"aye!" Happy replied as the flying winged cat went and carried Conny out of Natsu's arms then floats pass Cana. "time for the Happy Express to Conny's bedroom~! Let's go~!"
"C-Cana! Let's talk about this! I was just saying that! You know! you started drinking when you were 12, right!? I'm just telling Conny that she should started drinking when she's 16! And!" Natsu cried out in a panic as he looks completely afraid of Cana who is getting closer and closer.
"Leave the whole drinking stuff to me cause I'm the only one in the family who can say the yes and no for it." Cana said as she held up her right hand and started to grip her fingers a few times. "you don't get to say a word, understand?"
"y-yes..i understand! So please!" Natsu tried to look for a way to escape but the moment he tried to shift to one side, Cana threw some cards to block his path. "giku!" the Dragon Slayer looks incredibly scared cause the cards got the picture of a grim reaper and Death drawn on it. he then raises his arms up in surrender to his wife. "w-wait, Cana! I understand! I won't say a word about drinking and stuff! So!"
"you say you understand, but you really don't learn a thing unless its through a lesson." Cana said as she smirks a bit. "and I just know the perfect lesson for you, Natsu." She grabs the string of her bathrobe and then pulls it to undo the tie. "I was planning for a good night with you, but I guess I should speed things up so I can get a nice nap and teach you a lesson."
"w-wait! If we do it here…" Natsu tried to give a good reason to his wife who stripped herself of her bathrobe. "how about we do it in the bedroom!? It's soundproof and all! and also!" he continues to give out excuses to Cana who got closer and closer to him. "C-Cana? Please? Weren't we…planning it on night?"
Cana grabs Natsu's outfit and then rips them apart, ignoring the fact that his husband just screams like a girl.
"W-Wait! Cana! Wait! I'm sorry! W-Wait! Why do you have that?! Where you get that belt!? What are you planning to use it for!?" Natsu cried out, the young man only wearing his boxers left as he tries to get away from Cana who is holding a leather belt in her hands. "Cana! Why do you have that?!"
"you'll find out soon enough!" Cana said as she went and did a whip of the belt that made Natsu yelp in pain after the object hit his ass. "come back here you!" Now the card mage is chasing after her husband who is running around in the living room. "come back and take it like a man!"
"hey! That's Elfman's line and no way! That thing hurts!" Natsu screams as he tried to run out of the living room and goes upstairs but Cana swings the belt which grabs his right leg and then tug it hard to the point the Salmon haired mage falls to the floor. "ow!" he winced in pain before he screams as Cana started to pull him back into the room. "wait! I'm sorry! Come on, Cana! Wait! Not like this!"
"NO EXCUSES! I'M GOING TO FUCK YOU TILL YOU LEARN YOUR LESSON AND TILL YOUR LEGS TURN INTO NOODLES!" Cana shouted as the scene zooms out of the Dragneel's house, but we could see the shadow of the card mage lunging down upon Natsu who is screaming. "STRIP THOSE BOXERS, GET THAT DRAGON UP HARD AND GOING! AND THEN GO IN MY CAVE! YOU WANTED TO HAVE MORE BABIES, RIGHT?! THEN START SHOOTING THOSE FIRE OF YOURS IN ME!"
"don't say that when you're trying to torture me~!" Natsu screams as he is not going to have a good time with his wife at this very moment.
Meanwhile in Conny's bedroom, the baby girl was fast asleep in her crib as she was lulled to sleep with a magic tool that produces a lullaby.
Happy watches over her by hovering above before the blue cat went and settled down on a rocking chair while making his wings disappear.
"that's done." Happy said as he grabs a piece of fish from his little bag sack on his back. "I guess I should wait a few hours for them to be done." he started to munch his fish. "and they said that they'll do it in their bedroom and nowhere else. Got to make sure to tell them to clean up after themselves later on."
Some hours later. night has come for Magnolia.
Our attention is at Fairy Tail. Everyone and everything is back to normal as if the talk with Laxus never happened.
Currently by a shared table, Lucy is with Gray and Erza. The three had spent the day conversing with one another in the guild.
"can we go on a quest tomorrow?" Lucy asked as she wanted to get her mind off what Laxus said to her previously. "I just don't feel like lazing off on the weekend."
"yeah" Gray said while leaning his cheek against an open palm. "can't stand the thought of not doing anything after what Laxus said."
"very well" Erza said as she gets up from her seat and smiled "let's prove how strong we are to Laxus!"
"you don't mean!" Gray said with a grin as Erza nodded.
"it's time for our first S-class team mission!" Erza said with a pumped-up fist.
"eh!?" Lucy said to her in surprised.
Erza then made her way to the second floor only to come back after a few minutes, the Armored Mage returned and slammed a paper on their table, "this shall be our first S-class team mission!" she said to them. The paper had an S-Class stamp on it. The words "Help Us!" written on it, its reward was of 7 million jewels which shocked Lucy to the core. "we shall rescue the citizens of the Galuna Island!"
"7 m-m-millions?!" Lucy stammered in shock while excitement pumped into her body as she thought about all things she could buy with her share of the money. But she was still a bit reluctant when she thought about it being an S-class request. "B-But I'm not an S-Class Mage!"
"Don't worry about that. If an S-Class Mage is with you, then it's fine." Gray said before he points to the reward section of the request. "Besides, the second reward of this quest is a Celestial Spirit Key."
"eh!? A celestial spirit key?!" Lucy's eyes sparkled as she jumped up and down in excitement, "YES! Let's go!"
"looks like both of you are in." Erza nodded before she looks around. "but still, considering that it's an S-class request and all. I'm still a bit hesitant to complete it only with three people." She looks side to side and spotted Natsu coming into the guild. "Natsu! Hey! Do you want to go on an S-class request with us!?"
"the reward is about 7 million jewels and…eh?" Lucy added in as she was about to tell Natsu about the rewards of the request's completion, but she instantly gawks and screams in fear when she sees the salmon haired mage is walking all lifelessly while looking white, dried, completely drained of his life force. "what happened to you!?"
"Cana…sucked…me…dry…and…i…can't…move…too much…" Natsu said word by word as he looks like a ghost. "I can barely feel my legs too."
"she really let you have it, didn't she?" Gray sweatdropped to see how drained Natsu is. "you look like you didn't get to eat for weeks."
"more like months…" Lucy added in.
A few minutes later, Natsu sat down with the group as he has been replenished of his life force after eating a bunch of fried meat and a large barrel of fire wine.
"so? what's this about an S-class request?" Natsu asks burping after drinking his fire wine. "what's this all about?"
"This." Lucy said as she slides the request paper to Natsu who reads it. "it's a job to rescue an island from some sort of danger."
"The quest doesn't give too much detail about what we must do, but considering that's its been legalized as an S-class request. It's legitimate." Erza added in. "well? Are you in on the job?"
"been a while since I last did one, so why not?" Natsu said with a grin while holding up the request paper. "I'm fired up!"
"since we got four, how about we ask Cana to join us as well?" Gray asks. "it'll do us good if we got three S-class mages joining us and…"
"DON'T ASK HER~!" Natsu shouted angrily at Gray.
"w-what's wrong!?" Lucy cried out in surprise to Natsu's outburst.
"She's sleeping! And I want her to stay that way!" Natsu said as he looks very scared. "I had to endure four hours with her! four damn hours! She drained me dry, and she can still drain me if she wakes up!" he imagines a very demonic looking Cana who has a very long reptile tongue and bull like horns. "I was screwed when she nagged at me and tortured me! you think I want to have another damn night of hell!? I can barely handle her after she trained her stamina, strength, and everything else! She's stronger than me now!" he then gets off his seat. "we'll go there first thing in the morning! for now, get your bags ready! Got it!?" he then runs off. "I'm going to an inn for the night! And don't you dare tell Cana about this!"
Everyone in the guild watches Natsu leave in confusion as they were wondering what was going on.
"I have no idea what he's saying but I guess Cana really screwed him up for what he did, huh?" Gray said and Lucy nodded her head twice.
"matters of that aside, I think we can do this job with us four." Erza said with a smile. "let's get ready, shall we?"
"roger." Gray and Lucy replied while nodding in unison.
The group then dispersed as everyone got ready for their upcoming team S-class mission.
