Chapter 16 The aftermath
Melissa's point of view
Jill, Cathy, Christi, Holly, Kristie and I went to see Abi in the infirmary. She confessed everything.
Abi's point of view
My parents arrived. I confessed everything to my mother.
"We're pulling you out of school early." she said "I've closed the studio for a week, we're going to Florida… the girl who did this to you is going to receive a consequence. She's about to find out about it."
"Mom, Can I homeschool next year?"
"We'll see honey. I know this year has been rough on you, but you pulled your grades up, and you've been working hard."
I didn't deal with the mental aftermath of the attack. I had nightmares and flashbacks. Finally, I collapsed. My parents took me to the hospital where I was diagnosed with severe PTSD.
Ginny's point of view
After meeting with Abi's friends and deciding to pay her attacker back (With legal and physical repercussions)
We met with the teachers. Little did I know that I would be experiencing something similar to what Abi had experienced. I also had no idea that there was a bigger consequence of the girl's attack.
