When Hunith gave birth to a son with magic, she sought the druids and found them. Merlin grew up as part of a druid clan and learnt to control his magic. He is also aware of his destiny as Emrys and has already saved Arthur's life with magic many times. Arthur knows that Emrys is a sorcerer. Merlin eventually goes to Camelot to apprentice under Court Physician Gaius.

It was actually happening. Arthur was doing it.

Merlin Watching had become one of Camelot's most favorite pastimes. Observers just couldn't help analyzing everything related to him. It seemed that everything down to even his most mundane habits were to be dissected in the search for dark secrets and magical meaning. When Arthur rises in the middle of the twenty-first century, its a shock, for there is no peril... on the surface. While, Arthur struggles to conform to modern-day society, and grieve the loss of all but one of his friends, the two must save Albion. Again.

Arthur puts the pieces together, and finally learns Merlin's secret. What will he do with Emrys now? Will he be able to ever trust his best friend? Magic reveal story that takes place at the end of season four, and goes through some of season 5 with an alternate ending.

Merlin's mother dies and it sends him down a dark path. Probs not slash, but I haven't decided yet. I'm not sure how graphic the story may go, but suicide will be a major theme so if that is in any way triggering for you, then his may not be the story for you. Mature. In the days after Camlann, Gwen had pondered how it was that she had such faith in Merlin bringing her husband home. It forced her to relive the moment she'd seen the Sorcerer on the hill, and the affect it had on Gaius. Only days later did she make the connection and realise the truth about her old friend Merlin.

Morgana and Merlin explain their relationship to Arthur and Gwen... but mostly Arthur, since he's Morgana's older brother. The way he found out about them didn't help whatsoever in making it easy. MERGANA! and mentions of Arwen.

In an Alternate Reality, Morgana is immediately distrustful of Morgause, and Merlin sees that Morgana and himself could be allies. In the Fires of Idirsholas, the two join forces, to defeat Uther, and Morgause.

Now two one-shots: Merlin gets hurt while out with Arthur and the Knights. And Merlin gets attacked by a lone wolf while out on his own. Basically, an excuse to show a rare side to our favorite royal prat.

Arthur is preparing for a battle with a knight from another kingdom, having travelled to the woods with Merlin, hoping to find a peaceful training ground... not all goes to plan. Merlin, being as non-compliant as ever, can't shake the feeling something strange is happening, and tests the water. Bromance, romance, humour!

Morgana manifests her powers as a child and Arthur learns to be a supportive brother. Now, the duo works behind Uther's back building the family they wanted and protecting those with magic. Because magic isn't the problem. Uther is. (gen, no smut)

Merlin is caught doing magic and Uther has him executed. At the execution a mysterious woman pronounces judgement upon Uther before disappearing. Now Arthur has a mission; he must find his destined allies without the help of Emrys. Begins between seasons one and two.

Merlin was married at a very early age to Will's sister. She died giving birth to Merlin's daughter. 10 years later Merlin talks about her when explaining what girl he was seeing when he got poisoned by Morgana. Disclaimer: I do not own Merlin.
