Avenia fell to the young Prince's uncle fifteen years ago. A single knight went looking. The knight has made their way to Camelot, where the Prince now resides. Injured while saving Arthur's life the knight finishes their journey to Camelot, only to run into trouble in the form of a shadow beast.

Merlin's clumsiness was legendary, but did he really have to keep kissing Arthur?

There were times when she really missed being an infamous high priestess of the old religion. Not always but... sometimes. Like now, for instance, as she was sat in an uncomfortable chair, bound into a tight corset and forced to pretend she cared about the latest scandal being discussed by two matrons about a thousand years younger than her who had invited themselves over for tea.

When Gaius first told Arthur his man-servant had been to the tavern, it had been a complete and utter lie. Every subsequent time, however, had been the truth.
