Sequel of sorts to 'Dear Arthur'. Merlin has almost given up hope on Arthur ever returning, in fact he has pretty much given up hope in everything. But then Arthur returns, and things can only get better... Can't they? Rated 'T' for mentions of self-harm, attempted suicide, and possible violence.

This story is based on the picture of Merlin in a hollow tree, and on the myths, where Merlin is imprisoned in a tree. / After Arthur has died, Merlin doesn't know what to do. So he waits.
