Slight AU surrounding the friendship of Merlin and Kilgharrah. I just wanted them to be buddies, alright? Merlin thinks that The Great Dragon must be lonely after so long alone, and resolves to keep him company whenever he can. The visits lead to story times, magic lessons, philosophical discussions, and arguments. Sometimes they're companionable kin, other times... not so much.

That's the thing about sexual tension that can be cut with a knife, if you have a knife you can just cut through it, right? Since Arthur doesn't allow Merlin around sharp objects, Arthur is taking it upon himself to find out for the both of them.

Arthur and Morgana caused enough havoc in the series but they were much worse when they were younger! From stealing the Uthur's crown to risking theit own health by daring each other to jump out of windows, the 5 and 7 year old are just nothing but trouble makers... and royal ones at that!

A hunting trip with Arthur turns horribly wrong, and Merlin must find a way to reverse the events that take place.

Possible back story for some of the main characters- narrated by Merlin, Gwen, Arthur, and Morgana. I wrote this ages ago and am just now publishing it.
