The dynamic between F!Shepard and Garrus iin my favorite fanfics always reminded me of the relationship between Chris and Annie in What Dreams May Come, so I wanted to put them in that story. Shepard dies on the Citadel and defeats the Reapers and Garrus follows soon after, but he ends up in hell and Shepard has to save him. Rated T for language.
