Now that I've seen the finale, this is a brief one-shot of Runya and Merlin after the events of the final episode. SPOILERS if you have yet to see the last season of the show, especially the finale.

The last night the knights, Arthur, and Merlin spent at the tavern together before the final battle. Merlin gets drunk and remembers Freya. A short Hurt/Comfort between Merlin and Arthur (and some of the knights).

When A great snake once thought extinct attacks Arthur and merlin while out on a hunting trip. It manged to bite merlin. And in desperation the snake injects merlin with a venom into merlin. The venom will slowly turn merlins magic against him. Transforming his body. Will arthur and the knight be able to stop the transformation in time?

Last words are hard to come by.

Arthur and Merlin are best friends, have grown up together and are now fifteen. While Arthur spends time perfecting his polo and ladies man strategies, Merlin starts to see him in a different way. A story starting from age eleven and growing up... Beside them, I suppose.
