The hand was still moving along his thigh, he swallowed hard and look down. There was nothing to see, yet he clearly felt a hand moving up his leg, nearing the button of his breeches. He glanced back at Emrys and saw a smile on the Warlock's face. Mordred swore silently.

'As Merlin stood beside a flowing river and saw Arthur's body reflected back at him, he remembered the words of the sorcerer the night before.' Merlin had held the burden of secrecy for practically his whole life, until a mysterious sorcerer appeared and turned his (and Arthur's) life upside down in an instant. Set in 3x02. Merlin confronts Morgana in the crypt and tries to convince her to stop. They both realise that maybe there is another way but Merlin has to make a choice, will he repeat the same mistakes or try something new. And what will the repercussions be?
