Chapter 1: The Beginning Of A Fantasy Story

What day is the saddest among the seven days? Practically almost everyone will answer Monday. A start of the week that many people who prefer weekends don't want to meet.

Hajime Nagumo was one of them. The teenager obviously didn't like this day because he had to go to school and was almost late.

If you ask what is the meaning of school for a teenager named Hajime Nagumo? The answer is hell.

Why? Maybe the story in this chapter can answer that. Maybe?

Alright, where did the story go?

Oh right! Almost late for school.

Yes! Nagumo was about to be late for school but luckily he made it at the last moment. With great difficulty he walked down the halls of the school to his class and as soon as he arrived at his class...

He was greeted by a series of irritated and scornful looks from the students in his class. Oh right! He also received disdainful looks from most of the female students in his class. Taking a deep breath, he then walked to his seat which was in the corner of his classroom.

"Yoo dirty otaku! Did you stay up late playing eroge!?"

"Wow staying up all night just to play eroge! You disgusting bastard!"

The insult had strangely succeeded in making the men laugh. The perpetrator of the bullying was Daisuke Hiyama. He was the one who always bullied Hajime from his first year in high school until now. Daisuke was not alone in bothering Hajime, he was accompanied by his three friends. They are Yoshiki Saito, Reichi Kondou, and Shinji Nakano.

Hajime is actually an otaku but he's not an extreme otaku, maybe? Appearance-wise he wasn't bad despite his short stature, he had short black hair that was neatly styled, he wasn't a gloomy person either. Hajime can also communicate with the people around him well, about the nature? Hajime was a quiet person and he was very interested in manga, video games, movies and novels. Oh right, Hajime also had academic grades that were quite above average, so he wasn't a fool.

Then why was Hajime hated by his classmates? Maybe because of this...

"Good morning Nagumo-kun! You're late again like before. You should have put in more effort to arrive earlier." Said a girl who came up to Hajime with a smile.

That girl was Shirasaki Kaori, one of the most popular girls in school, she had black hair that reached her waist, had a pair of big brown eyes, and the smile that was always plastered on her face became the absolute point of what is called beauty.

She is one of the most respected students.A kind-hearted girl who always has a smile on her face, Kaori is a girl who has a high sense of responsibility and always likes to help others. Kaori herself seems interested in Hajime and she always tries to be close to him, this is what makes Hajime hated by most of his classmates.

To male students they would scream "Why him and not me!?" Whereas the female students would think Hajime was a brute for not doing what Kaori said.

"A-Ah good morning, Shirasaki-san." Hajime replied awkwardly, he was filled with tension from the stares he received from his classmates. They're friends right?

Hearing her greeting answered by Hajime made Kaori happy and smiled happily. That obviously added to the hatred Hajime's classmates had towards him.

'Why are you approaching me? I wish you could realize that this action of yours is the reason why I am hated!' Hajime really couldn't understand why the most popular girl in school approached him of all people. He was simply a person of average appearance, academic and athletic grades. There are many men who are much better than him.

Then… the other three students who had been watching the conversation before came over.

"Good morning, Nagumo-kun. It's really bad staying up so late every day."

"Seeing him again, Kaori? You really are too good for your own good."

"Jeez. Talking to a failure like him, is just a waste of your precious time."

First was a girl with long black hair tied into a ponytail, her ruby eyes always gave a sharp look to add to her cool impression, she was one of the people who didn't treat Hajime badly, she was also another school idol known as the onee-sama. Shizuku Yaegashi, best friend of Kaori.

At 172 cm tall, taller than any other girl in her class, she has a toned and shapely body that makes her fit to be a model. In fact she once appeared for a magazine and earned the nickname the modern samurai beauty. Yep, she is the embodiment of the modern samurai, her family owns a dojo that teaches the Yaegashi Style. Shizuku herself had never been defeated in a kendo championship at any level and it was clear that just like Kaori she also had a lot of fans.

Next was the person who had greeted Kaori with somewhat corny words of kindness was Kouki Amanogawa. He is perfect in almost every way. Good at sports, good looking, and in addition has good grades. The name sounds heroic, written with the characters of "light" and "ray", it gives off a somewhat dazzling impression.

Brown hair, soft features, 180 centimeters tall, and though his slender form still shows his muscles. He is kind to everyone he meets, and has a strong sense of justice (or so he thinks.)

He is a student at the Yaegashi Dojo which makes him a childhood friend of Shizuku and has participated in tournaments all the way to the nationals. Kouki is always seen together with Kaori and Shizuku, it makes dozens of girls who fall in love with him not confident to approach him but there are still some girls who manage to work up the courage to confess their love to Kouki.

Basically he just might be the top student in this school. Just maybe ok?

Lastly, is Sakagami Ryutarou, Kouki's best friend. Ryutarou has short hair and tidy and a gaze that looks both cheerful and opaque. He is 190 centimeters tall, and has a large shape like a bear. As he suggested, he was a muscle man who didn't have much decency.

Because of his love for hard work and hot-blooded actions, he dislikes Hajime, who spent all of his time at school sleeping. Ryutarou gave Hajime nothing more than one sidelong glance before disdainfully ignoring him.

Including Kaori, they were actually four friends because they always hung out together.

"Good morning Yaegashi-san, Amanogawa-kun, and Sakagami-kun. Heh, alright, you know what they say, you reap what you sow. It's my own fault for always staying up late." Hajime smiled wryly as he greeted Shizuku and the others. Both of them glared fiercely at her, their eyes all screaming, "What gives you the right to talk to Yaegashi-san so casually, huh!?"

"If you are aware of that, don't you have to start fixing your attitude? Someone like you doesn't deserve to be spoiled by Kaori, she doesn't have time to always take care of you." Kouki said firmly, he clearly disliked Hajime and considered it a form of failure.

Actually Hajime's hobby wasn't bad either if he could manage his time well. His father worked as a game designer and his mother was a manga writer, Hajime also occasionally worked part time at their place. With the experience and interests he has, it shouldn't be difficult for him to get a job in that field. Yes, he already has good future plans.

If Kaori hadn't stepped into his high school life, he would have been able to graduate in peace.

"Yeah I guess. Ahaha…" That's why Hajime just tried to laugh at the remark Kouki. But, of course, the school goddess must have spoken up and dropped another bomb by accident.

"What are you talking about, Kouki-kun? I'm talking to Nagumo-kun because of me want." The whole class swarmed at the words.

If looks could kill, Hajime would have died a hundred times over from the glares he was getting from the students. They gritted their teeth as they glared at him, while Hiyama's crew stepped back and started discussing what would be the best place to pull Hajime over during their lunch break.

But Hajime wouldn't worry about Hiyama's group because he still had the class president he could always rely on.

"Huh...? Ah, I see. You're very kind, Kaori."

It seemed Kouki interpreted the moment Kaori was being nice so as not to hurt Hajime's feelings. Even though he's perfect in many ways, or maybe because that fact, he had one rather glaring weakness. He is a bit too convinced of his own truth and correcting it would be extremely annoying, Hajime instead chose to escape reality by staring out the window.

"I'm sorry about that. They didn't mean to hurt…" Shizuku apologized to Hajime quietly, since he was the only one who was smart enough to understand everyone's feelings. Hajime just shrugged his shoulders and smiled wryly.

Finally the school bell that signaled the start of class rang and a few moments later a teacher entered the classroom to start the first lesson on Monday for all students in the class. Leaving one student who doesn't seem to leave.

When class started, as usual Hajime would always be on the border between the real world and the dream realm.

Kaori smiled as she saw a sleepy Hajime. Shizuku stared at him, amazed, and...

pondered that Hajime was really famous in a sense. The men jeered at him while the girls stared, staring scornfully.

Time is running out and now we have entered the fourth learning period.

The classroom door opened to reveal the teacher for this period, Aiko Hatayama.

She was a social studies teacher in his mid-twenties, very popular with the students. She was 140 centimeters tall, with a baby face and neatly cut hair. Her childlike appearance, and her tendency to run around doing all he could for the benefit of her students, even when most of her efforts were in vain, had endeared er to much.

The gap between how hard she tried and how helpful she was she finally managed to make most of the students see her as a child who needed to be protected more than adults to respect.

Many of them had called her by the nickname Ai-chan, though she always was get mad when you do it. Because she wanted to be a respected teacher, she didn't like it called by a nickname.

"Well our lesson today is-"

Creeaak!!

The sound of the classroom door being opened in a hurry had cut off Aiko's sentence, before she could finish her sentence.

It had also caught the attention of everyone in the class including Hajime.

"Sorry sensei... I came late."

"Sengo-kun! You're late again! Do you know what time it is!? That's a behavior a class president shouldn't have!" Aiko said firmly.

The student that was being scolded by Aiko was Shirou Sengo, he was the class president for Hajime's class.

Natural red hair that was let loose but not exaggerated either, golden brown eyes like those of an eagle, only 167 cm tall, not as big as Ryutaro but he had a perfectly toned and muscular body.

To Hajime he was both a perfect and a balance breaker in this school.

He was a former ace of the archery club when he was in his first year because all his shots were always on target. Oh the reason he left the archery club was because he kept being forced to take part in the national championship even though he had refused it.

In his sophomore year he quit the archery club and joined the cooking club, his homemade cooking was really good. Hajime firmly believed that in the future Shirou would become one of the best chef in the world.

Oh right he also really likes to help people, be it students or teachers, he will help them sincerely. Hajime was one of the people he had helped.

Shirou was the only male student who treated Hajime normally and Hajime respected him a lot

In contrast to Kouki, Shirou can really be fair to anyone and won't look down on people. He is willing to accept the opinions of others and not just impose his own will.

On that basis he was also forced, ah meaning directly elected by the homeroom teacher to become class president.

He is liked by students in all academic years even the teachers like him(The majority of them are girls). Although he admits that he doesn't like being in the spotlight, his actions have caused him. to become very popular and perhaps even rival Kaori.

After finishing receiving the rebuke from Aiko. Shirou walked to his seat which was on Hajime's right.

"So you're working overtime again?" Hajime asked his class president.

"Well I see, there was one person who couldn't make it so I had to take his place." Shirou replied while looking for the textbook for the fourth period.

Shirou works part-time at a bar, a place a high school student shouldn't approach. It's not like his family has economic problems. It's just that Shirou refused the money his parents gave other than money for his school fees. He wanted to be self-taught so he started working at that bar and the various places that would accept him before.

Hajime learned about this from his father who accidentally found Shirou working at a bar. Why did Hajime's father know Shirou? It was because Shirou had been to Hajime's house and helped Hajime when his CPU failed.

Oh right, Shirou himself was no different from Hajime, many boys didn't like him because of the attention he got from girls.

It's just that almost no one dared to him. During his first year, he was taken in by some second year seniors who didn't like him because he was popular with the girls. Shirou is taken somewhere to be beaten up only for them to end up horribly in the hospital and Shirou emerges completely unharmed.

The news spread quickly and made him also feared by almost all the students who hated him. So that they only dare to insult him from behind or slander him with a lie.

How would Shirou respond to something like that? A simple "I don't have time to deal with stupid stuff like that but if it gets too much then I'll take care of it right then and there." Yes, that's the answer.

After a while, the class returned to normal and Hajime was back in between dreamland and the real world.

And finally the bell for recess rang.

Hajime then took out his lunch, a simple meal that could be finished in ten seconds, but still managed to find it.

The majority of people in Hajime's class usually brought their own lunch and only a few went to the cafeteria. But now none of the students have left the class, maybe they brought their lunch this time. In addition, it seems that some students have questions for the social studies teacher in the fourth period, Aiko and playing with the teacher's podium.

"Hajime, here eat this!" Shirou said as he offered one of the sandwiches he made to Hajime.

"Thanks but that's not necessary, I've had enough with what I ughfaa-" Hajime couldn't finish his sentence because Shirou had shoved the sandwich into Hajime's mouth.

After that he returned to focus on eating his lunch while copying the lesson notes for the first to third periods that he had missed.

So Hajime couldn't help but go back to lunch only now the menu was much healthier and tastier from the kind hearted class president.

So...

"Nagumo-kun you can also take half of mine!" Said Kaori who came while pulling a chair to approach him with a smile. It was clear he had witnessed the interaction between Hajime and Shirou.

"Thank you Shirasaki-san, but I've had enough of what Shirou gave me. So why don't you eat with Amonogawa-kun?" He showed Kaori the sandwich his class president had given him as he said that. The rest of his class would probably resent him for refusing too, but at least it was better than spending his lunch break walking on a nail.

However...

"Huh!? But that's not enough! It won't happen at all, you need to eat more food than that! Here, I'll give you a portion of mine!" And the stubborn girl still didn't give up either.

"Kaori, why don't you just sit by Hajime and eat your lunch? Then wouldn't it be the same as having lunch with Hajime?" Said the class president from beside Hajime's seat, he didn't see them but he heard their whole conversation while he was busy copying notes of one of the girls while stopping occasionally to eat his sandwich.

After all Shirou's seat was right next to Hajime.

'What do you mean this is Shirou!!' Hajime shouted internally.

"O-Oh! You're right Shirou-kun! Thanks for the suggestion!" Said Kaori who immediately dragged the chair she brought closer and Hajime and started to do as her class leader suggested.

"Kaori, let's have lunch together. Looks like Nagumo needs more sleep. And I wouldn't let someone eat Kaori's delicious handmade lunch while half asleep!" Kouki looked at Kaori with a dazzling smile as he said that pretentious line, but Kaori just looked confused. The Kouki was gone from him.

"Huh? Why do I need your permission to have lunch together, Kouki-kun?" Shizuku and Shirou burst out laughing when they heard Kaori ask that question in an earnest manner.

"He said that because he was jealous of Hajime, Kaori." Said the class president who was answered with confusion by Kaori.

"I-I'm not jealous!" Kouki answered awkwardly and tried to change the subject, but what mattered was that the four most famous people in the school sat with Hajime and the whole class is not happy about it. Hajime took a deep breath and continued to grumble to himself.

Oh Hajime took Shirou out of the count because his seat was indeed beside him.

I wish all these people would be summoned to another world or something. I mean, just look at them, they're the perfect party of four. It feels like them too the kind of group to be sent to another world. Can't a god, princess or priest or something summon them from here?

Trying to escape reality, Hajime turned his mind to any other world out there. He stood up and was about to give his usual evasive answer, when Shirou who was walking to return the book he borrowed suddenly stopped midway with a face filled with panic.

"Everyone hurry out of the classroom now!" Shirou snapped frantically as he felt magical energy start to fill the classroom

"What? Why are you screaming?" Said one of the students.

"Just get out quickly-" Before Shirou could finish the sentence a silver circle with various strange symbols appeared in front of Hajime.

The halo started to glow and expanded until it enveloped the entire classroom at an incredible speed

All the students saw a strange circle as well. Everyone froze in place, staring at the strange glowing pattern, for lack of a better word, more like a magic circle.

Everyone finally melted down and started shout. Aiko-sensei, who was staying in the classroom, shouted "Everyone! Get out of the classroom!"

Amidst the panic Hajime also noticed something strange other than that glowing circle...

Shirou had shot at an insane speed towards several people and threw them with such force that they shattered the windows leading to the classroom hallway.

He didn't care about the condition of his classmates who had been thrown. If they got injured he could treat them later, his first priority was getting as many people out of the class as possible.

At the same time the magic circle flared up in a brilliant bright explosion.

Shirou knew exactly what this circle meant. It was different from anything he had encountered in his previous life, but it was still of the same type so he recognized this sensation.

This was 2nd True Magic and 3rd True Magic. The moment the magic circle appeared, he could feel a strange sensation like the state of his soul being bound by something very strong.

'Tsk, if Rule Breaker can be used against True Magic..'

He managed to get a few people out of the classroom so they were quickly released from the effects and by the time he turned around to reach for the rest of his classmate... It was too late.

Shirou saw that all of his remaining friends had disappeared from the classroom and left him alone in the center of the magic circle.

His mind was running fast now.. he could jump out of this magic radius but that would mean he would lose his friends. So he decided to stand still and let the magic swallow him up too.

Wherever his friends moved he had to be there for them, after all he was the class president.

Whatever was waiting there he would deal with it and make sure to bring all of his classmates back.

Hello everyone how's the story? I hope you guys can be a little entertained by this simple story, hehehehe...

Yes, this is a simple crossover story about an alternate version of Shirou Emiya who has been reincarnated into Shirou Sengo and has been transported to another world with his classmates.

How did Shirou get the memories from his past life? Answers will come as the story progresses.

This story will also tell about other characters but still the focus will still be on Shirou.

Hajime will still have his own adventure according to Canon and his harem as well, it's just that I will modify it to suit my story.

This Shirou, is the reincarnation of an alternative version of Shirou Emiya who will be the MC of the Fate / stay night fanfic which I will be releasing soon.
