A new world below
The view was spectacular. Nothing I could have ever imagined. Even more impressive than what the Praxians had built. This looks incredible and more advanced than what Praxis had built.
It didn't stop there though, John Druitt joined us and he was as content as I have ever seen him. He explained that when he held open the rift for Helen to follow Adam into the past, his ever present energy elemental let go of him and followed into the rift just as it closed. So far the elemental hasn't made an appearance yet.
Even Biggie made it here. After Helen saw him lying on the ground and the abnormal Caleb invaded the mansion, he was picked up by Druitt and brought to the underground Sanctuary for healers to save his life. It was touch and go for a while, as he had a lot of internal injuries, but his thick skin saved his life.
Tesla and Henry are bickering as always, but getting the job done. They are improving so many devices and exploring so many possible energy sources, which could power the underground sanctuary and hollow earth more efficiently. The security couldn't be tighter with the two of them combining forces.
Helen says that her seclusion offered her the possibility to build this cavern under Oldcity as a new basis for the sanctuary. With its entry way into the human world highly guarded and only open to few authorized people.
Every Sanctuary head, every previous inhabitant had quarters at this underground Sanctuary Once the bullet rail system is connected to hollow earth, if anyone wanted to live there instead, that would be up to them. The construction there too is amazing, nothing as impressive as the underground sanctuary, but that is to be expected, as Praxis is so far beneath the earth's surface, that the building blocks have to be reused from previous buildings. There are many abnormals with powers to form rock therefore a helpful addition in rebuilding.
Kate lives with Garris in hollow earth and their wedding ceremony will be on hold until the rail system is complete, as travel between hollow earth and underground sanctuary isn't possible unless Druitt teleports every single person back and forth.
Our next concern is, finishing the bullet rail system to hollow earth and giving each earth dwelling abnormal the option and possibility to join us in either hollow earth or underground sanctuary.
We will rebuild the sanctuary in Oldcity but on a much smaller scale.
It will only be a waystation. For the foreseeable future, there will be no contact to the politicians that forced us underground.
In the near future, we will vet a camera and news team and guide them into our sanctuary for a demonstration of what the abnormal world has to offer. Of course with Magnus as the front person as she already went on camera and stated to the public, that humans are not alone. She wants to be radical with what happened and what the politicians under the guise of national security would have done, if they hadn't moved underground to save themselves.
But that is still in discussion with the head of houses.
I am still dazed. Underground waterfalls, underground UV light, underground seas, underground vegetables, everything needed to build a new civilization.
In this new world everything is possible.
