Author's Note: It's my first story that I'm writing/typing down as I do not own anything as Godzilla is respectively owned by Toho and Evangelion is respectively owned by Hideaki Anno. I respect their ownership and property of their franchise as I do not own the characters of the series and Copyrights of the sources. Please and Thank You. Enjoy!
Story: Shinji awakens to the new world, a world he knows, right? Seeing familiar faces but feels quite different about the world around him, with meeting faces that he never met. Even at times what he can really remember at all whereas fragmented memories of the past are haunting him. No memories and no idea why he's here or what the reality is between himself and others around him. For the fate of the world faces the forces, appearing around the world with Angels and Kajius that threaten the whole world. Fate of humanity will face these greater threats, but one of the greatest of them all is the feared King of the Monsters, GODZILLA!
Prologue: The New Era
Pacific Ocean - 10:00 pm - 250 miles away from Tokyo
The calming night that covers the sea of the ocean while the moon lit the nightly skies. The sea water stayed calm as the abyss of the ocean lay ominous to the scenery seen by American freighter KING'S RETURN. There the crew of the ship minding the business around them as what has become of the world. The world has changed after the 2nd Impact with flooded lands, useless wars over resources and land, the death among billions as these change the natural balance.
On the freighter, two crew members are laughing and enjoying a deck of cards while enjoying the night. The crew of the cargo ship who are either sleeping, operating, maintaining, and navigating the whole ship, holding materials for a corporation in Japan. Much of their dismay towards the dangers after hearing the incident that happened at Tokyo-3. The two crew members who were enjoying their game spoke.
"Ha! Go Fish!" said from a bearded crew member, named Hank, placing four identical cards on the wooden crate, "Bet yet to come for you, Brad."
With a smile on Hank's face as he took a sip of his beer while a man named Brad smirks at his face as if know how it's gonna end. Unknownist to Hank, Brad holds a special surprise for his friend as it's not where he lets his best friend slowly win the game but something else.
Brad held his Card and spoke to his friend, "Well even this match can't beat my score, last time. For what I still got my tricks in my sleeves."
"Really? I bet that your 'Trick' would overturn the tide of our game. But I will beat your "
They look at each other as they have much to come for the future of their career with this game. Then Brad did the unexpected move for Hank as this to say, "Well, Hank. I can say that today is the day that you are going-"
About 15 miles ahead of the cargo ship, blue and white flashes lit the surface of the ocean as bubbles rapidly rose. With a sudden explosion of water, a dark figure emerges as it raises his head and unleashes his calling.
"SKKKKRREEEEOOOOOOOOOOONKKKKKKKK!"
Every crew member of the ship stops as Hank and Brad halted their card game as Brad walked to the window as he spoke, "What in GOD's name is that!?" All over the freighter, the crew members chatter and fear as soon the ship was 5 miles toward the dark figure. When a sudden blinding light flashes the crew of the upper deck as a blue beam struck the ship as inside the engine room, engineers and fellow crew of the lower deck were soon faced with the worst.
Leaking sea water, gushing out whereas sudden flames appearing and spreading as hot burning streams from pipes, spreaded around those who were unfortunate or not. Screams of pain and terror flood in each deck as KING'S RETURN burns while the changes of the chaotic outcome. Minor explosions affected by the flames as the crew are now entering the hellish nightmare where those will not see their family, even fearing death, and even more endure the suffering pain on KING'S RETURN.
The flames of KING'S RETURN, light up the sea with ashes of those unfortunate crew who are trapped or perish on that ship. On this night, the attacker roared on the cold dark sea, with the flames of the ship unveiling the figure as this was the night of Godzilla. Godzilla with his pale white eyes and fearsome fangs as his appearance looks otherworldly. He stares at the burning ship as his dorsal fins flicker then glowed brightly as he began to descend back into the abyssal sea.

Abandoned Site - 10:01 pm - UNKNOWN
The cold and barren ruins of a military site that lie lifeless and nothing but abandonment of no personnel are sighted. All that is left is tanks, fighter jets, weapons, and one military building sealed tight. Everything remains barren as only sounds are winds, blowing through this abandoned site that has no life among these lands. Haunting land as if nothing remains but a ghost of the past that echoes of the once place where bravery and honor lie alone, and forgotten. No power of this site left into darkness that no one would ever live nor take shelter here.
Center of the site, a sudden sparks began to strike the surrounding areas as buildings, vehicles, and a flag post were hit by this electric energy as it rapidly more sparks like a storm showing its presence. Then a large sphere appeared with the sparks of electricity while the winds whirled around the sphere as it slowly became an insane whirling sandstorm with electrical storm. When suddenly the energy sphere stops with everything halted back to normal as a very large giant falls on the earthly ground.
The full moon unveils the giant titan as the skin of metal with sudden damages around across its body as the metal titan lay motionless. The moment stood still as suddenly metal wires extended from the mech with its purpose scanning through the site. Then the wire suddenly began to spread as if finding something. That something is, vehicles and any metals around the area whereas then dragging the materials to the fallen titan. When one of the wires discovers the sealed military building as it approaches the military number pad while the wire breaks the number pad. The doors open as the wire enters the building as there inside were old military grade computers and other techs that remain untouched. More wires followed, when the the two wires attached themselves to the old computers as few began to take the prototypes techs then one wire override one special room.
Above the door, the name of the room shown with the painting is faint as the room's doors open with the wire entering it. Project Prometheus was the name of the room as so, the wire began to explore the room until scanning the objects around each table and shelves. Then, the objects began to glow brightly.

Mountainous range - 10:00 pm - 1300 miles of Tokyo 3
In the mountains of Japan, a land of beauty as the moon lit shines the surrounding forest as much has changed among these nights. The calming winds breezes through the forest of the mountains and soon the night of silence will be no more.
Suddenly, a blinding light shines in the area, when a large red horned creature falls down upon the open valley. With the bloom of earthly dust clouded the area with the breeze of the wind moved the trees.
The red creature shook off the dirt as it looked around the area with the look of curiosity with the moon light veiling the valley. With the moment of calm and silence set for the red monster as his skin is reddish-brown with a single large horned on his forehead.
"Graaaurrgh!" it cried as he began to dig with his large claws whereas the ground shook at its wake.

Sunken City of Tokyo 1 - 10:05 pm - "Unknown"
Tokyo was one of Japan's finest and its past was worth such a rich and diverse offering for locals and visitors alike. Japan's economic center is the seat of both the Japanese Government and Emperor of golden age of Japan, people can say of this city, who now lie in ruins by meaningless war. A nuclear bomb caused the once famous capital that left 500,000 dead as if Japan would endure fate yet again. Even what's more for the lives of people, died over the selfish wars that bring no meaning among the world, they once lived for the forsaken future that awaits.
Now, the submerged city lies silent as it was and always has been for these years as nations continue to exist while the Japanese government abandoned their hopes of restoring their old city.
Then a flash of light lit over the sunken city when an object fell through the center of the city while other buildings stood strong after the wave of the object.
The sunken city, for a moment, fell back into silence as if nothing happened from before until a series of bubbles began to surface. When above the city, a shadowy figure began to rise as a sudden disturbance of water burst. A dragonfly-like creature hovering over the city's waters as it's the night of the queen with her purple skin and greenish spikes all over her body as well a long tail with a sharp stinger.
"SKREEEEEEEET!"
The flying kaiju began to take flight as it left the ruined city, Tokyo while the force of her wings shattered the remaining windows and reduced buildings to rubble with her sonic waves.

Philippines Islands - 10:40 pm - 1908.94 miles away of Japan
The night on the Philippines islands stood well or even managed to have their remaining lands intact after the Second Impact. For what the lies for the people on these islands remain ambiguous, towards the state of everything after the outcomes between nations and the limited resources has brought upon them.
When up in the night of the sky, a shadowy figure soaring through the clouds with the gust of winds that blew the Philippines trees.
At the JSSDF Pacific air base, detection of an unknown flying object had the base at alert as the control room began to send out Three Jets to intercept their target.
"Alert! An unknown object on Radar."
"Sending all units. Stand by to intercept the Target."
Three jets followed their target as it was unseen by the pilots while pursuing it while one of the pilots began to make contact with the object. Pilot one was beside it and matching the speed of his target.
"Intercept. Three F-15s dispatched from JSSDF air base."
"Target sighted."
"Target now entering the southern Air Defense Zone."
"Going in."
"Commencing Pursue"
"Roger, Blue one"
Pilot one spoke, "You are violating Japanese airspace, you must change course immediately!"
With no reply, the pilot informs the other two, "It's ignoring all our warnings.," as Pilot one continued whereas spotting the flying figure, "Target in sight, cannot sight identify. Request to fire a warning shot."
"Confirm. Request Granted."
"Fire warning shot."
Soon, arrays of bullets were fired toward the flying figure as it was ineffective while it continued onwards. "Target still on Course," Pilot one spoke as the three jets began to take action, whereas soon over the JSSDF air base encountered something that they never expected. Even the three pilots who are pursuing it, began to hear a strange sound? Sound?
"What is that?" The Pilot Two spoke.
"Is that Singing?"
"That's just your imagination," the air base commander says to the female pilot.
Then the flying creature maneuvers over the clouds as the three jet fighters were taken by surprise while maintaining control over their jet. Then the unexpected has happened as sudden glowing light shines the night to day. For a second, back at the air base, the radar that was detecting the target. Vanish from view as it puzzled everyone, even the base commander, found it impossible for someone… or something to disappear.
Author's Notes
The story of this FanFic is set around a new Timeline (Note: this will be important) as it's after the Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time(fantastic movie). But this Godzilla is my own creation and will be a different incarnation as this Godzilla will act differently towards Chaotic and Neutral Anti-Hero
Godzilla of this fanfic story is different and my own design as I planned on making how he looks. He's based on Godzilla from 1954, 2001, 2000(1999-2000), KiryuGoji(2002-2003), FWGoji, SP Gojira, Godzilla Earth, Shin Godzilla, and Godzilla Minus one. He has digitigrade legs from Godzilla Minus one and SP Godzilla.
His personality is somewhat evil towards mankind and cares for the world around as he would defend his home planet from external threats.
Because I think of the movie GMK and one Godzilla Fanfic by Traitors of All Traitors as well the Evangelion series. I do enjoy them and wish to imagine how this story will begin.
