Location: Themyscira Dungeon

Sora's eyes slowly opened and he let out a long yet soft yawn. He wanted to stretch her arms, but he couldn't for some reason. He then tried to move his legs and found that he couldn't do that either. Sora shook his head a few times to shake off the grogginess and he finally took in his surroundings. He was in what looked like a jail cell and his arms and legs were tied up.

"Hey… what's going on?" Sora asked softly.

"Finally awake I see!" Sora looked up to see a tall redheaded woman behind the cell door.

"Um… Hi?" He said awkwardly. Artemis could tell the boy was confused and she decided not to give him the bad news…yet.

"I am Artemis, an Amazon Warrior." She introduced in a sharp tone. Sora's eyes widened in shock.

"An Amazon, that's so cool!" He said with a massive smile. That wasn't the reaction Artemis was expecting from the boy considering his position.

"Yes… well as you've already realized you're our prisoner at the moment." Sora quickly sat up and tilted his head.

"Have I done something wrong?" He asked in an innocent tone. Artemis really wasn't used to this. Anyone else in this situation would be frightened or anxious, but this boy seemed quite calm.

"First things first, who are you?" She asked sharply. Sora then gave the Amazon a toothy smile.

"I'm Sora, nice to meet you." Artemis tilted her head in confusion, while it had been quite a while since she'd seen or spoken to a man, Sora being so bright and happy threw her for a loop.

"Alright Sora, you're being held prisoner because you set foot on our sacred island. No man is allowed here." She explained. Sora nodded his head.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to break a rule." He said in a genuine apologetic tone. The surprises didn't cease for Artemis today, never had a man apologized to her and it sounded so genuine. "Um… can I ask how long I've been here and where 'here' is exactly?" Artemis snapped out of her thoughts and she nodded to him.

"You've been out for about three days, and you're in Themyscira, home of all Amazons." Sora nodded.

"So it hasn't been too long, I thought after Yozora knocked me out I'd be out for a few weeks." Sora then put his attention back on Artemis.

"Alright, so when can I leave? You said I broke a rule and I don't wanna cause any trouble." Artemis had always viewed herself as a stone cold warrior who barely showed any emotion, but after Sora had asked that question, she looked a tad uncomfortable. That wasn't going to stop her from doing her job or being brutally honest with the boy.

"You won't be leaving." Sora had a look of confusion on his face.

"But you said-" "I said that no man is to set foot on the island, yes, but that doesn't mean you can leave here alive." Artemis said, cutting the boy off. Sora looked at the redhead with wide eyes.

"What, but I got here by accident. I didn't mean to come here!" He pleaded. Normally, Artemis would have relished in the fact that a man was begging for his life but right now… all she felt was pity.

"By choice or not, our rules are absolute. You will die by the hands of an Amazon warrior in combat, that is the will of our Queen and the Gods." With that, Artemis left the dungeon to inform Hippolyta of the boy's awakening. Sora was left alone and he fell onto his back with a worried look on his face.

"Why do I always end up finding trouble?"

"He's awake?" Hippolyta asked. Artemis nodded her head to the Queen and her daughter.

"Yes, he awoke a few moments ago. I have spoken with him and he says his name is Sora and that he didn't come here willingly." Diana was intrigued by the boy's name, she had never heard of a man having such a feminine name.

"I see, nonetheless he will face punishment for his crime. Artemis, summon the Amazons to the grand arena and select a warrior to do combat with the boy." Artemis bowed and walked out of the throne room. Hippolyta got us from her throne and began walking to the dungeon with her daughter behind her.

"We are bringing him ourselves?" Hippolyta nodded.

"I would like to see what this boy is like, considering what Artemis told us the first night he showed up." Diana recalled what Artemis had told them about the boy and words he spoke that day.

"They can take your world, they can take your heart, cut you loose from all you know. But if it's your fate, then every step forward will always be a step closer to home." She said softly, but loud enough for her mother to hear.

"Such strange words, I still don't understand what they could mean. Perhaps a prayer of some sort?" Hippolyta thought aloud.

"That's a possibility, but remember what Artemis said, the boy was covered in a white aura and speaking as if he was possessed. He then fell unconscious again, maybe he doesn't know what he said." Diana said. Hippolyta sighed and put her mind back to the task at hand.

"For now it doesn't matter, right now we must retrieve the boy and bring him to the colosseum." She said hastening her walk to Sora. Diana knew that they would have to continue eventually, but the words that Sora spoke had truly intrigued her and she wanted to know more. Her curiosity of the world beyond Themyscira had flared up ever since Sora arrived on the island, but her mother forbade anyone other than Artemis in the Dungeon so she couldn't ask questions. Now that he was awake, he was immediately being sent to death by a warrior selected by Artemis and she wouldn't get the chance to ask him anything.

Sora was still laying on his back looking up at the dungeon ceiling, wondering how he was going to get out of this predicament.

"I could just leave, I mean I could just burn the ropes… but that would probably make me look worse. Artemis said I had to fight an Amazon like her to the death, so if I want to live I have to win the fight? I don't wanna take a life, especially of someone that hasn't done me any wrong." Sora was brought out of his thoughts as he heard footsteps coming from the hallway.

"Artemis?" He asked.

"No young one." An unfamiliar voice said. Sora lifted himself once again and saw Hippolyta and Diana standing in front of the cell door.

"Uh, hi? Are you both Amazons like Artemis?" Hippolyta nodded to the boy and stepped forward.

"That we are, I am Queen Hippolyta and this is my daughter Diana." She gestured to Diana who gave a small nod. Sora heard this and straightened himself.

"Oh I'm sorry, it's nice to meet you, your majesty. My name is Sora" He said with a bow of his head. Hippolyta and Diana were shocked by this, they didn't expect him to be so polite and so willing to bow his head.

"Yes… Well Sora, Artemis has told you of your situation, correct?" Hippolyta asked. Sora nodded his head.

"Yea, apparently no man is allowed here and that I'm being put to death because I broke that rule." Hippolyta gave a small nod while Diana gave a sigh. "Can't we just talk about this, why does someone have to die. Violence is not the only way to solve a problem." Said the Keyblade Wielder to the Two Amazon Warriors. Diana's interest in the boy increased, he wanted to talk instead of fight. Hippolyta was also curious, but she didn't waver.

"I'm sorry but no, you broke a sacred law and must face the consequences. It is the will of the Gods."

"Why!? Why does someone have to get hurt!?" The two Amazons were surprised by his outburst. "Look I get it, I broke a rule but having two people fight to the death for breaking it is very excessive." Sora stared at the two with pleading eyes. Hippolyta could tell the boy didn't want to get hurt or possibly vice-versa. She could also see the logic in his word, it is a bit excessive to kill someone for breaking one rule, but she as well as her fellow Amazons had no choice in the matter.

"I understand, you seem quite different from any man that I've met but our rules are absolute. I truly am sorry." Diana wanted to speak up for the boy but knew her mother would only tell her the same words she had told Sora. Sora could only slump in defeat at her words and sighed.

"Fine, if that's what I have to do, then I will fight. Are there any rules to this fight?"

"To fight until one of you is dealt a killing blow." Sora paled at this and it didn't go unnoticed by Diana.

"I'm sorry, I wish there was something we could do." She said in an apologetic tone. Sora sighed again and looked back up to them.

"When is it?" He asked quietly.

"We're going to escort you to our Arena, once all the amazons have been assembled. Your battle will begin." Sora nodded slowly. Hippolyta then walked into the cell and untied the ropes on the boy's leg so he could walk.

"Follow us."

"Ok."

Location: Themyscira Grande Arena

The Amazons of Paradise Island had all gathered, cheering for the execution that was going to take place. Artemis and her chosen warrior and Twin Sister Aleka.

"I'm honored you picked me for this sister." Aleka said in an excited tone. Artemis shook her head sister's excitement.

"Aleka contain yourself, it's not that big a deal." She said in a passive tone. Aleka looked at her older sister (By five minutes) with a look of shock.

"Not a big deal, I have the honor of taking part in this execution match. The whole island as well as the Queen and Princess will be watching. How can you be so calm at a time like this?" Artemis was wondering the same thing, she was happy her sister got a chance to prove herself to the Queen but at the same time she felt a pit in her stomach. As if something was telling her this whole thing was going to end badly.

"Forgive me, it's just the man we found, he-" "WHAT!? Did he say something crass to you, did he offend you, tell me and I'll make sure to make him suffer for it before he dies!" Aleka said, cutting her sister off. Artemis sighed at her sister's outburst, she loved her little sister dearly but she could be so protective and a tad crazy.

"No no, he didn't say or do anything like that. Believe it or not, he was quite respectful towards me and he was even fascinated by the fact that I was an Amazon." She explained. Aleka calmed down when she heard this and tilted her head.

"Fascinated, like he was fond of you?" Artemis shook her head.

"No, it was like how a child would look at something amazing for the first time."

"Childlike wonder, interesting." Aleka said, putting a hand on her chin. "So you've spoken to him Briefly?"

"Yes, his name is Sora." Artemis answered. Aleka chuckled a bit.

"Such a feminine name for a man." Artemis also thought it was a tad amusing.

"He's… strange. Not like any man I've met before… of course that was a very long time ago." Aleka took in her sister's words and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Well, strange or not he won't be here much longer. So I suggest you not worry so much about him." Artemis took a breath and looked upon her sister with a proud smile.

"You're right, come along, the Queen and the Princess are waiting for-" "Artemis!" The elder redhead heard her name and turned to see Sora walking behind Hippolyta and Diana. Artemis and Aleka bowed to their Queen and Princess before speaking.

"My Queen, the Amazons are all assembled and Aleka is my warrior of choice for the battle." Hippolyta smiled at the two sisters.

"Allowing your sister to prove herself in a serious situation. I approve of your choice." Hippolyta then looked to Sora who was looking between Artemis and her sister with wonder. "Sora, this will be your opponent, Aleka." The Keyblade Wielder and the sister of Artemis looked at one another with differing opinions. Sora just thought she was another cool looking Amazon, while Aleka thought about how easy her victory would be against the boy.

Hippolyta then untied Sora's hand allowing him to finally stretch his whole body.

"Finally, I can move again. Thanks." He said in a grateful tone. Aleka tilted her head slightly at Sora's 'Thank You' to the Queen. She thought he would say something sarcastic, Artemis did say he was strange.

"I wouldn't thank me Sora, you're about to be executed." Hippolyta said in a neutral tone. Sora nodded his head, but looked to her with determination.

"I know and I'll fight, but I'm not going to die today." The four Amazons looked at the boy with wide eyes and Aleka glared at the boy.

"Not going to die, you must be in denial if you think you're going to win against me boy!" Sora looked at the redhead and he smiled.

"I said I wouldn't die, I didn't say I wouldn't lose, but I'll try not to. Let's have a good fight." Sora then put his hand out to Aleka. The younger sister of Artemis didn't know what to do in this situation, so she turned away from him.

"I'll win, just know that." She then walked off leaving Sora with a pout on his face.

"Just trying to be nice." He said, crossing his arms. Artemis looked at the boy and sighed.

"We aren't exactly fond of men here Sora, so understand if we all aren't too thrilled with you being here." Sora nodded to the elder redhead.

"I get it, you said no men were allowed on this island. You must have a good reason for that, right?" He asked. Hippolyta, Diana and Artemis all looked away from the boy once he asked that question. Sora sensed that what he asked was a sensitive topic. "I'm sorry." Diana turned back to the boy and gave a small smile at his apology, Hippolyta and Artemis just sighed.

"Let's just proceed." Hippolyta said walking away. "Artemis, take the boy down to the battlefield." Artemis bowed to her queen and turned to Sora.

"Come with me." Sora nodded and as the two made their way to the battlefield, Sora took a final look at Diana and he waved to with a friendly smile on his face. Diana waved back at him and once again hoped that the Gods would be kind to the boy.

Artemis had led Sora to the middle of the battlefield where the boy was met with harsh words filled with hate and detest.

"You'll get what you deserve for coming here!"

"I'm surprised he's not begging for his life yet."

"Show him what a true Amazon can do." Sora was rather uncomfortable with all the insults thrown at him, but he couldn't really blame them, he did break a rule.

"Be ready, the fight will begin once Aleka arrives." Artemis said.

"Got it, thanks Artemis." Sora said with a smile. The redhead just sighed and walked away. Sora then took a deep breath and began to focus. "I need to keep my guard up, I've never fought an amazon before so I should be ready for anything.

Hippolyta and Diana were in the highest point of the colosseum watching the battle from a private booth.

"It's time." Hippolyta said, standing up and walking forward. Diana also stood up and walked towards her mother. Aleka arrived on the battlefield with a sword and shield in hand.

"My fellow Amazons, we gather today to witness the execution of this man who has broken our most sacred law!" Hippolyta said, causing the Amazon to cheer in excitement. "The warrior chosen for this honor is the sister of my precious daughter's Aid, the sister of Artemis, Aleka!" The Amazons began to cheer even louder as Aleka raised her sword in the air showing she was ready.

"Both have been told the rules of engagement, a fight to the death and and will end when the killing blow is struck. Do you both understand?" Hippolyta asked. Sora and Aleka nodded and the latter got into a battle stance.

"I hope you know, this won't take long." She said with a smirk. Sora smirked back at her.

"We'll see about that." Sora extended his hand, summoned his Kingdom Key and got into his battle stance. Hippolyta, Diana and Artemis all widened their eyes at the strange weapon that appeared in Sora's hand. Aleaka as well as the Amazons in the stands were also shocked and very confused by this.

"What in Hera's name?" Artemis asked. Hippolyta examined the weapon in the boy's hands and felt a powerful energy coming from it.

"A giant key?" She thought to herself. Diana stared at the Kingdom Key with wonder, she'd never seen a weapon like it before.

"It would seem the boy is more than he seems. A strange weapon and a very unique battle stance as well." She commented. Aleka quickly got over her shock and held her weapon tighter.

"Don't think some oversized key will save you from me." She growled. Sora just smiled.

"We'll see, let's go!" He said in a competitive tone. Aleka grit her teeth at the Keyblade Wielder's words. Hippolyta had also gotten over your shock and raised her hand.

"FIGHT!"

Sora and Aleka both kicked off the ground and sped off towards each other. Once they were close, the two warriors clashed their weapons causing a small shockwave that was felt by most of the onlookers. Sora and Aleka kept their weapons locked as they tried to overpower one another. Hippolyta, Diana and Artemis were a bit surprised that Sora had matched Aleka in strength and possibly speed.

Sora and Aleka both jumped backwards and sped towards each other again only this time when they clashed they didn't stop. The sounds of metal striking metal rang through the arena and the swift movements of both combatants left the audience speechless. Sora and Aleka were once again knocked backwards after their last clash and stared at each other for a bit.

"Wow, she's really strong. I expected her to be tough, but she's really amazing"

"How is a boy, a child this strong? He's matching me blow for blow and he doesn't look tired yet!"

Hippolyta watched on in intrigue as did Diana and Artemis, Sora seemed to be a warrior like them but his fighting style is very foreign to them.

"He's quite skilled, his battle style is quite unique." Diana commented.

"Yes, he must have had a very good teacher if he's keeping up with an Amazon." Artemis said, crossing her arms. Hippolyta continued to watch in silence, she could still feel the power coming off of the Kingdom Key but it wasn't just that. Throughout the fight, the boy's power was also rising with every strike of his blade.

Sora ran towards Aleka with his Keyblade stretched out in front of him.

"AERO!" He yelled as a strong gust of wind whipped around Aleka causing her to shield herself. While she was distracted, Sora jumped high into the and began spinning like a top towards Aleka. The sister of Artemis was very confused about how Sora summoned the power of wind, but she decided that thinking about that wasn't a priority right now and put her focus back on the boy who was currently spinning towards her at great speed. She raised her shield as best she could and blocked the incoming attack. Just as the wind around her started to die down, Aleka extended her left arm, knocking Sora back a few feet.

"Cheap tricks won't save you!" She declared as she dashed towards him and swung her sword at him. As she neared the boy, Sora back flipped away from her blade and used his 'counterattack' ability to land a 4-hit combo on her before kicking her in the stomach sending her back to where she had previously started running. Aleka didn't let this stop her as she quickly balanced herself and slammed her shield onto the ground causing a small quake. Sora was slightly shaken by the quake and while he was distracted, Aleka was in striking distance and she swung her sword aiming for his neck. Sora didn't have time to think and he immediately called upon his 'Second From' Transformation. The wave of light knocked Aleka back, canceling her attack and temporarily blinding her as well as the onlookers. Once the Light died down, Sora was now in a custom version of his Second Adventure outfit and got back into his battle stance. The Amazons in the stands were awestruck, this boy had not only matched Aleka and summoned Wind, but now his clothes had changed from a powerful wave of light.

Diana and Artemis were both gobsmacked, Hippolyta was doing no better as she stood up from her throne with wide eyes.

"Mother… I believe we've underestimated the boy a tad too much." Diana said, not looking away from Sora. Hippolyta couldn't deny her daughter's words, the boy is proving to be quite the warrior.

"My Queen, should we… stop the match?" Artemis asked in slight concern. Hippolyta shook her head before sitting back down on her throne.

"Not yet, let's see how this plays out." Diana and Artemis saw the curiosity on their Queen's face, she was interested in Sora now and just like them she wanted to know more.

Aleka composed herself and readied herself again.

"A simple change of clothing, that's all? Any more useless tricks you like to show me?" She said with a confident smirk. Sora smirked back at her.

"Trust me, this is more than a simple change of clothes!" Sora said as dashed towards Aleka once again. The Redhead did the same and once again began to clash with one another only this time with each parry of their blades, Aleka was being pushed back more and more. Sora then raised both of his hands in the air.

"Stun!" Soon a small dome of red energy flashed around him and Aleka causing the Amazon to stagger a bit.

Sonic Blade!" Sora disappeared from Aleka's sight and before she could react, she was struck from the back and the stomach multiple times. Sora stopped his attack, jumped into the air and aimed his Keyblade at Aleka.

"Ragnarok!" Soon, 13 beams of light came from the Kingdom Key and headed straight for Aleka who quickly raised her shield to defend herself. Sora counted on this and as he landed and glided over to the Amazon and used his Horizontal Slash to break her guard and leave her open.

"This is it! Ars Arcanum!" In an instant Sora struck Aleka with thirteen slashes and after the final slash he raised his Keyblade in the air as it was covered in light and brought it down onto the ground causing a small explosion. The Amazons in the stands as well as Hippolyta, Diana and Artemis all shielded their eyes as the explosion was very bright.

"What is this!?

"What did that man do!?

"How is a child this strong!?

All these questions and more were being asked as the explosion began to die down. Hippolyta was standing again waiting for the dust from the explosion to settle. Diana and Artemis had no words for what just happened, this young boy was just… wow.

After the dust cleared, Sora was a few feet away from Aleka still in his 'Second Form' and battle stance. Aleka was also standing causing the Amazons to cheer for her, what they failed to realize was that she was unconscious. When she failed to move for a few seconds, Sora got worried and dismissed his Keyblade.

"Hey, are you alright!?" He asked running up the redhead. The Amazons all stopped cheering when Sora dismissed his weapon. Sora reached the Amazon and saw her expressionless face.

"Uh-Oh, I think I might have gone overboard." He said, feeling guilty. He then looked up to Hippolyta with a pleading look. "Queen Hippolyta, can you call a doctor for her, she's unconscious!" Hippolyta had nothing to say, neither did Artemis or Diana. After a few minutes of silence, the amazons in the stands all began jumping from their seats and surrounding Sora with angry looks on their faces. The young Keyblade wielder Summoned his Kingdom Key once again and got into a defensive stance.

"Hey, what's the deal? Your friend is hurt, she needs help." His pleas went on deaf ears as the amazons neared him with raised fists.

"ENOUGH!" Everyone stopped in their tracks and looked up to see Diana jumping from the top of the arena and landing in front of Sora. "Have you all lost your honor? The boy has won this fight and you try to attack him!" Diana then looked up to her mother. "End this Mother, I believe we have questions for the boy and how he does what he does." Hippolyta felt a strong feeling for pride, mixed with slight anger at her daughter's actions but the pride overtook the anger in the end.

"Stand down, all of you!" The amazons all stepped away from Sora who sighed in relief and dismissed his Keyblade once again. "Sora, you've won the battle against Aleka. Our customs dictate that this is a fight to the death, you have the right to-" "NO!" Hippolyta was caught completely off guard by Sora who looked at her with narrowed eyes.

"No one has to die today, just get her some help." He said gesturing to the still standing and unconscious amazon behind him. The Amazons sans Diana were all about to attack the boy again for yelling at their Queen, but Hippolyta raised a hand and stared at the boy for a few seconds before giving a sigh.

"Very well, All Medical personnel take Aleka and get her treated." She then looked at her daughter. "Diana, I'd like you and Sora to join me, Artemis as well as my court in the palace throne room." Diana bowed her head and as she did the medical team took Aleka away on a stretcher. The Amazon that jumped into the arena began to disburse but not before giving Sora some nasty looks. Once the arena was empty, Sora sighed and looked up to Diana with a smile.

"Thanks for that, I appreciate it." Diana gave him a small smile back and waved it off.

"Not a problem, you won your battle fair and square. You're quite powerful for a male child and very skilled." Sora began to pout and he crossed his arms.

"I'm not that young, I'll be 17 next year." The Amazon princess couldn't help but chuckle at the boy's comment.

"If you say so, we should head off to the throne room. My mother is patient but it can wear thin if you keep her waiting too long." Sora immediately thought of his own mother as well as Kairi when she got mad at him and Riku when they were growing up and he shuddered.

"Good Call." With that the two walked back to the palace.

Location: Throne Room

Sora and Diana arrive in the throne room with Hippolyta sitting in said throne, Artemis with what looked like a rope made out of gold in her hands and ten official looking Amazons standing on either side of their Queen.

"Thank you Diana, come next to me. Sora, step forward as well." he two nodded and stepped up. Diana was now on the right side of her mother and Sora was in front of the throne. "Now Sora, I hope you realize the severity of the situation."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not going to kill someone who hasn't wronged me or done anything to hurt me. I'm also sorry I broke a very specific rule of your island, but I didn't end up here on purpose." He explained.

"I understand that and since you have won your battle against Aleka, you are exempt from our scorn.. For now." Hippolyta said, causing Sora to sigh in relief. "But-" Sora immediately straightened up and gave the Queen his full attention. "-you're still a mystery to us and the power and skill you displayed in your battle with Aleka was both impressive and quite dangerous. Let me ask you, where did you acquire such power?" Sora began to sweat, he couldn't tell them much of anything. The voice of Donald in his head was screaming 'ORDER!' and it was giving him a small headache.

"Um… I.. uh… I'm mostly self taught in my swordplay and my magic was just something I picked up in my travels." He said cautiously. The amazons in the room all knew there was more to the story than that and the fact that Sora had a terrible poker face helped them all reach that decision. Hippolyta sighed and gestured to Artemis who nodded. The redhead then stepped forward and with a swift motion she wrapped the rope around Sora's arms causing him to flinch and fall to the ground.

"Hey, I thought you said I was exempt!" Sora said, trying to free himself from the rope. Hippolyta, Diana and Artemis all walked over to the boy and looked down to him.

"You are, but I can't have a man on the island running around without knowing his intentions." Hippolyta said in a stern tone.

"What are you talking about, what other intentions could I have in this situation?" Sora asked, sitting upward to face the three Amazons. Artemis was the once to speak up next.

"We're not sure, what are your intentions while being on this island?" Before Sora could answer the question, the rope keeping him bound began to glow as did his body.

"I wanna go back to my friends and back to Kairi." The glow died down and Sora shook his head as if waking up from a trance. "What… just happened?"
