Suspicions
Two weeks went by after Heracles and Jack's first time, and this was another normal sunday at Adam and Eve's mansion. The parents of humanity were happy for having all their 12 Einherjar sons and their grandchildren around. Jack was the one having fun with the children the most, taking turns to hold each of them in his arms, becoming more and more attached to his "nephews" and "nieces".
- guys, children, come eat! - Eve shows up to announce that food was ready.
The main course is roast boar, prepared by Adam, with cooked rice, mashed potato and a variety of saladas, all prepared by Eve. But the boar meat's smell makes Jack feel sick, he tries to ignore this the best he can, until he can't hold it anymore and runs to the bathroom to throw up. Which, obviously, leaves his family worried.
- Jack? Son, you ok? - asks Adam, knocking the bathroom's door, while hears noises of someone throwing up.
- yeah… Yes, I'm ok, dad. Don't wo-URGH!
After some good minutes, Jack returns to the table, with washed face and with a expression of pain.
- poor you. I'll give you a cup of tea, son. - says Eve.
- gee guys, what if he's pregnant? - Raiden laughs. - it seems that uncle Jack is the very next to show up with a baby in his arms!
- of course not, you animal! - says Leônidas, smacking Raiden's head. - Jack is one of the few of us who's still virgin.
- … Hm… So… - Jack knew he'd have to tell this to his parents and brothers sooner or later. - actually, everyone… Heracles and I did… You know.
The silence in the room is defeaning. Excepting for the kids, who couldn't know what this is about, EVERYONE was shocked.
- fuck, he's pregnant. - now says the spartan, rubbing his eyes.
- no, Leônidas, I'm sure I'm not.
- he's right. - says Sasaki, while he tries to make his daughter eat her mashed potatoes. - even if he and Heracles had sex, a man can only impregnate by another man if he receives a blessing from a goddess of fertility.
- exactly. That's how we all could have our children. - says Qin, rubbing his belly. - Hades and I will have our daughter because Aphrodite helped us.
It's at this moment that something pass through Jack's mind.
- Qin… How did Aphrodite helped you to get pregnant?
- she gave a red liquid to drink, it was a magic fertility potion, that allows any person of any gender to carry a child.
- … A red liquid, huh?
"It wasn't hibiscus tea."
- yeah, Poseidon drank that too. It looked like strawberry juice. - says Sasaki, while Thea still doesn't want to eat.
- as did Thor. - says Lü Bu, with Astrid sleeping in his arms and Jun devours his meat with his bare hands.
- and Beel too. I was curious about this potion and tried to research it, but it hasn't any element known on Earth. - says Nikola, while Dantalion, in his arms, just observe everybody with his little droopy blue eyes.

- Jack, what's wrong? You're even paler than the normal. - asks Adam.
- … I was with Aphrodite some weeks ago. She offered me a cup of tea, which I obviously accepted. It was a red liquid, and I thought it was hibiscus tea. But… Thinking about it now… I felt a little strange after I drank this tea.
- did you feel hot? - asks Lü Bu. - Thor had fever for some days after drinking that.
- did you have cramps? - asks Sasaki. - Poseidon is already a difficult person normally, now imagine when he's in pain...
- were you sensitive and cried a lot? - asks Nikola. - I had to filter my words 10 times before speaking to Beelzebub.
- did you want to fuck all the time? I know I wanted! I didn't give any rest to Hades! - Qin laughs.

Everyone look at each other, worried.
- but did you ask her for a child? - asks Rasputin. - or insinuated about wanting one?

- son, calm down. - says Adam. - we don't even know if this really happened. This could be a normal sickness, caused by any reason. Lets do this: we're going to a doctor first, ok? If it's not a pregnancy, fine, life goes on. If it is, you and Heracles will have to think what you'll do about it, calmly.
Jack sits down and says nothing. Adam is right. Without knowing if he's really pregnant, panicking about it is waste of energy. He spends the rest of the evening feeling down, only imagining the worst case scenario, in case to really be pregnant: Heracles would abandon him, his whole family would be disappointed on him, he'd be vulnerable in front of everyone that hates him and he'd have to hide to not be hurt… But the worst of all is to imagine the day, in the future, that this child would find out that their father is Jack The Ripper, the most infamous serial killer of humanity, and they would hate him for this.
Later, he's with Heracles at his bedroom in Olympus.
- love, is everything alright? - Heracles asks, hugging Jack from behind, while the british serves himself a cup of tea. - you're quieter than the normal...
- yes… It's all right.
He turns around to look into his man in the eyes.
- I'll see a doctor.
- why? What happened?
- nothing! I mean, I think it's nothing. I just need to be sure is everything alright with my health.
- Jack, I know when you're lying.
- …
- but it's ok if you don't want to tell me. I just want you to know that you can trust me. I love you more than everything, you know that, right?
- I know, dear god. - he kisses Heracles on his lips. - everything is fine, don't worry.
Even with Heracles treating him with so much love and his golden color shining as ever, Jack couldn't find the courage to tell him about the possible pregnancy nor about what he thinks Aphrodite did to him. Heracles offered him to take him to see Asclepius, greek god of health. Jack refuses at the beginning, but since his boyfriend insists, he accepts. "At least a god can say if this is the doing of another goddess" he thinks, before taking off his clothes and lay down besides his love, to sleep together.
