A few days passed since that intense storm formed and went through Inazuma. The Kamisato Estate was looking better since the damage on the roof had been repaired. I was busy cleaning up the fallen leaves in the courtyard until I began to slow down to a stop.

'I wonder how she's doing?... Even if it's just me, would it be okay to check on her? What would I even say if I showed up unannounced?' My mind wandered to Aranea with the same questions floating around in my head since the last time I saw her, and how much I've been wanting to see her again.

"Thoma!" A familiar voice disrupted by thoughts when they called out to me.

"Koharu? What's up?" I asked, not expecting to see her this early in the morning.

"I was looking for you everywhere!" She said with a short sigh.

"Is something the matter?" I questioned, taking note of her being out of breath.

"L- Lord Ayato..." She began with but tried to calm herself down for a moment before continuing.

"What about him?"

"He's asked me to tell you to meet with him in his office." She answered.

"Right now?"

"He said it was urgent."

"Thank you for letting me know." I said as I brushed off some of the dirt off my clothes before meeting with him. "Are you going to be okay?"

"Just need a bit of rest is all." She said with a short wave of her hand. "Thoma, next time don't be so hard to find." She added in with a shake of her head.

"I'll keep that in mind." I nodded with an apologetic grin on my face and began to make my way over to the office.

'I wonder what it is he needed to see me about. To be urgent, it must be something pretty serious.'

When I reached the door, I knocked twice to announce my arrival.

"Lord Ayato? It's me, Thoma. You wanted to see me?" I asked as I pushed the door open.

Inside the room, I didn't expect to see anyone except him so it surprised me to see someone else stand up quickly when they made eye contact with me.

"Thoma!" She exclaimed.

"Aranea?" I asked her, confused to see her alone. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. I only just arrived. I haven't been here too long. I was invited suddenly by Lord Ayato so I came as quickly as I could. Do you know why I was summoned here?" She asked me.

"No, I was told to come here too and I have no idea why." I answered truthfully.

It became quiet between the two of us for a moment since neither of us really knew what to say. Aranea was like herself again, the part that stood out the most right away was the new scar by her head that's half covered by her hair. Seeing her after so long, it reminded me of my earlier thoughts before Koharu found me.

'Why can't I come up with anything to say to her? Having her right here in front of me, meeting like this, it's what I wanted the most.'

"Um, h- how have you been?" She asked me first, breaking the silence.

"I've been okay." I said quickly, clearing my throat before I continued. "I mean, it's been pretty busy around here since that storm so repairs to the roof only just finished recently... What about you?"

"Well... I've been slowly getting used to this new... Change." She pointed towards her Electro Vision that was left on the chair . "Adjusting to something like this for someone like me wasn't easy at first. I was just so confused with everything... How should I put it?... I should be happy with it but hearing about how I supposedly 'impressed an Archon' and obtained a Vision because of it really didn't make much sense to me. Now I worry I'll disappoint the Almighty Shogun if I do something considered wrong..." She trailed off then tensed up when she realized she was being so open with her worries. "I'm sorry! I'm saying too much, forgive me for rambling on like that."

"No! It's okay. If you need someone to talk to, not to brag, but I'm a pretty good listener." I said with a shrug, attempting to lighten the mood.

Aranea visibly relaxed and a smile began to form on her face, which made me happy to see.

"You always know what to say, don't you?"

"I guess you can say that." I nodded. "Actually, I was thinking about going over to visit you. I've been so busy here until today that I haven't had the time to check on how've you been." I admitted. "I honestly don't mind if you'd like to share your worries with me."

"You're very kind, Thoma." Aranea said as she walked up to me. "That part of you is what I appreciate the most about you."

"I- It is?"

"I'm actually glad that I ran into you today." She said.

At those words, my heart sped up.

"Why's that?" I asked, realizing how close she was and how we were the only two in this room made me unable to break eye contact with her.

"Yes, you see I was wondering about something... Are your hands fully healed from those electric burns from that night?"

'I see...' I felt disappointed when those weren't the words that I had hoped to hear.

"Oh, y- yeah. I went back to the doctor recently. The very same one who treated you back then. Not that anything serious was going on or anything like that, but because I wanted to eventually tell you in person, she said that I'm all healed up. I went because I knew you'd only worry more if I didn't take your concerns seriously." I removed my gloves and showed her my hands.

"You shouldn't go just because of me! Worry about yourself some more." She reached out for my hands and gently passed her fingers over my palms. "I couldn't stop thinking about it, about you-" She stopped when she realized what she had admitted to and looked up at me with a slight gasp.

The room became quiet once more as she held on to my hands and we stared at each other.

'Wait. Did she just... Has she really been thinking of me as much as I have been thinking of her?'

"Aranea, I-"

A knock on the door surprised the both of us and we immediately stepped away from each other when we saw the Kamisato siblings arrive.

"Good morning, sorry to summon you both out of the blue like this but considering the events of the past few days, it only seemed right to include the two of you." Ayato said as he walked into the room. "We're short a person but they should be arriving soon."

"Brother thought it'd be best to share what he knew so far about the storm the other day." Ayaka explained as she walked up to us.

"Even me?" I questioned.

"You're someone we trust, there's no question about it." Ayato said.

"I agree." Ayaka said with a nod.

"What did you learn?" Aranea asked.

"As I stated the morning after the storm, as soon as she noticed her Vision feeling different, Kujou Sara alerted the heads of the other clans since this was something to do with our Archon. These past few days, we've been working closely with a detective who is part of the Tenryou Commission, the same as Sara."

"A person from the Tenyrou Commision is on their way here?" I asked.

"Yes. We got word of people who had been acting strangely when the storm first began, as if those people were in a dream-like state before obtaining the Electro Vision. That same detective has been able to get some answers fortunately." Ayato continued. "...Although these new Vision bearers were rather few in number so far, it was still rather significant becaus-"

"Because it's been over a full year since anyone, not just in Inazuma but across all of Teyvat itself, had been granted an Electro Vision." A new voice had spoken up and caught the attention of the four of us. "Well, naturally I had to see for myself if the rumors were true and do a little more investigating on my part of course."
