From This Moment On-Ch 5
Reid and the others were currently adding to their profile, they needed to find this unsub and fast, he had managed to kidnap 6 women so far, all women had the same facial symmetry but other than that nothing else was similar at all.
Derek said, "so he has no preference on hair color, eye color or nothing like that?", Reid shook his head and said, "do you see here" as he pointed to the women's pictures on the the tv screen in front of them.
He pointed out how each woman had the same facial structure, same buildup, so that meant that the women were all beautiful with very feminine attributes. Dave said, "you got any ideas kid?", Reid said, "it's impossible at this point to try and set him up because he is all over the place but hopefully soon he'll screw up".
Hotch said, "alright so we need to split up and go to crime scenes and see if we can manage to find something that the others couldn't", the team all nodded their heads as they split up and headed out of the police station and toward their waiting SUVs.
Penelope smiled as she checked her sons temperature to find that it was down to 99.6, she looked at Sheila and said, "it's down, it's finally down", she blew out a deep breath and whispered, "thank you boy wonder, thank you so so much" before her attention then turned back to her now sleeping son.
JJ and Emily had just left one crime scene and were heading to another one when Emily said, "okay Jayje, spill it, what's going on with you?", she said, "what do you mean Em, nothing is wrong, nothing at all", Emily shook her head and said, "helloooo profiler remember, I know you Jayje, what's up, you know that you can tell me anything".
JJ looked at her friend and said, "I'm sure it's nothing", Emily said, "why don't you tell me, maybe if you get it off of your chest you'll feel better", JJ thought for a second and then nodded her head and said, "you're right Em, you're right" as she opened her mouth and said, "it's Spencer", Emily said, "Reid, what about him?", JJ said,"do you remember earlier when he got that call at the diner?", she nodded her head and said, "yes".
Emily looked at her friend as JJ said, "he lied to us Em, he lied to me about that call", Emily said, "why do you think he lied?", JJ said, "I have no specifics but something was off, whoever he was taking to it wasn't a doctor from the sanitarium where his mom is", Emily reached over and put her hand on JJ's and said, "if you're right I'm sure he'll tell you, he might have his own reasons.
JJ nodded her head and said, "you're right Em, you're right" as they pulled away from the curb so that they could head to another crime scene, she knew that Em was right but the fact that Reid had lied to her still wasn't sitting good, maybe when he was ready he would tell her but until then all she could do was wait, wait, wonder and worry about her husband.
At another crime scene Reid and Derek were looking at footprints when Reid's cell started beeping to let him know that he had a message, he stepped away and looked at the message and smiled when he saw a message that said, "thanks boy wonder, Hanks fever is down to 99.6, thank you, thank you, thank you".
Derek looked over at Reid and said, "what's got you smiling pretty boy?", Reid said, "oh it's nothing Morgan, nothing" as they then continued looking around for more clues, hopefully they would find something, anything to catch this unsub and the sooner the better as far as he was concerned.
Over the next few minutes Derek kept glancing over at Reid, something was different, something was off with him, but what, what could be different with the biggest brain of the BAU, he didn't know what it was and just as he opened his mouth to ask Reid what was going on Reid said, "Morgan, come look at this".
Derek walked over and leaned down beside Reid and said, "what's that, clay mud?", Reid said, "yes, this is odd for this part of the country, we need to head back to the police station and see what we can find out", Derek nodded his head and said, "sounds good pretty boy, sounds good" as they turned around and headed back toward the police station.
On the way back to the police station Reid sent a group text asking the others to meet them at the station so they could discuss a new clew that him and Derek had discovered at their crime scene, maybe, just maybe the unsub had messed up and if he did maybe this will be their chance to catch him and put him away.
