I fall asleep with my sleepy eyes . When I wake up the second morning , it is 5am in the morning. We will be leaving around 8,that is what Jessica told me . Jessica is Alexander's new girlfriend and secretary but I think that Alexander will never marry her .

Marrying her will anger Joshua who just lost his mother a few month ago. I take a hot shower before dressing up in my dauntless uniform and take the letter with me which left by mark.

I want to read it but I am worried that it is too much to beard . One thing Alexander is right about: I have to be brave because I am dauntless especially an ambassador . I can't cry and show my weakness because that will let people to know where to hit me the hardest .

I walk toward the chasm and sit above it. I always chat with mark over the chasm on the early morning before everyone can get up.

I open the letter and the word is in his hand writing. They are not prettiest one but very clean . I read it carefully.

"Dear Delia .

I am sorry that I have to say a goodbye when you get your job. However I know that this is my best way of protecting you. I care about you and I love you. Even I know that there are someone who is better than me already taking care of you, I still feel that I need to tell you this . One day we will see each other again . However before that, you have to take care of yourself for me .

What does this letter means? Is he still alive or does he means after I die ? I don't know but I will find out. I throw the letter into chasm because I don't want anyone to see it anymore

I walk toward the cafeteria . Now it is too early but I am already hungry . When I enter the cafeteria , I walk to upstair .

I can eat with the leaders now . Only Alexander is eating but why is he so early.

"Can't sleep too?" Alexander raises his eyebrows at me .

"Yeah , when your instructor dead and knowing that he will see you sometime somewhere . Of course that you can't sleep." I giggle

"You read his letter?" Alexander asks

I nod at him. Does he also receives the same message?

"How do you know what did he write?" I question him

"I also received the same kind of letter." Alexander taps his fingers on the table. "Who do you think killed him?"

"Someone who is wary about divergents existence ." I say

Alexander is silent. His silence makes me worry. I lower my head and start to eat. Around 7:30, I leave together with Alexander

"Today , I will lead you one time and next time , you will have to go by yourself ." Alexander nods at me . "Don't be nervous , everyone will have first time ."

"Yes sir ." I smile at him

I am suspecting that what Alexander was working with erudite has to be related with divergent. However if he saw my record , then he must know what result I got. If I am one of their target, why did he allowed me to join the meeting?

"Did you ever read my result?" I straight up my body

"Delia , this is not what we should talk about in public ." Alexander looks at me worried

"You must already know who I am ." I smirk

Alexander puts his hand on my mouth. Yes he already knew it.

"Delia, that is why I put you in this position so no one will check on anyone who are in leadership." Alexander hissed

So he is also protecting me by putting me into leadership.

"Why didn't you do that for mark?" I push his hand away from me

"You look like too much for my wife ." Alexander's eyes go red

"So you want me to be safe because of that?" I clinch my teeth

"Yeah and no . My wife likes you so she warns me about you before she closes her eyes ." Alexander sighs . "Plus , if you are dead, Joshua will kill me."

The train is here . I and Alexander jump on the train. A year before , I still have difficulty jumping on the train but now it makes me easier . I stand at the door by grabbing the handle tighter .

"So now more relatable ." Alexander pats me on my back. "Even you aren't divergent, then I think the position is best for you."

"Thanks . Are you going to marry Jessica by any chance?" I ask

"I don't think so Delia ."Alexander is crying. "I am sorry that when I think about my wife , I will cry."

I sit down beside him. It will take us at least 40minute to go to erudite so I am just relaxing.

"I know that . It is okay. You are just a human and you aren't a god ." I try to act causal . "You can cry in private but not in public . Here are only me and you so it is fine ."

"No wander why Elisa likes you." Alexander giggles

We arrive at erudite headquarter sooner than I expect. We jump off the train and people greet us .

"Who is this?" The soldier looks at me

"My new ambassador ." Alexander says

The soldier stands straighter . We walk into the building. Mike welcomes us with warm greeting

"So this is your new ambassador and I remembered her name is Delia ." Mike smiles . "Nice to see you again."

"My pleasure as well." I feel disgusting by talking to him

I hate erudite not because I can't associate with them but all because people said Mike is the person who killed my parent.

"Let's come into my office ." Mike beckons to us

We follow Mike into his largest office . We sit down facing him.

"So what do you want to talk to me about ." Alexander folds his arms.

"I want to corporate ." Mike says straightforward

"And what is that?" Alexander barrows his eyes

If Alexander didn't know what Mike is intended to do , then he must not know who killed mark

"I want to destroy abnegation and killed divergent." Alexander snorts

"You know that we have a good relationship with abnegation and you want me to destroy that." He stops for a minute . "I know that you killed mark . For sure !"

"Where is the evidence Alexander ? You think that abnegation respects you and your dauntless ?" Mike laughs . "You are too stupid to understand that."

I take out my gun and aiming at Mike . He is an asshole

"Don't talk to my leader like this ." I gritted my teeth. "Or I will kill you."

"You think that you really know about him and his son." Mike laughs . "You have no idea what did his son Joshua have done to your instructor out of jealousy."

"What rubbish are you saying. I will never work with you to go against my allies and divergent." Alexander shouts

He is a good leader but he is too easy to burst out what he wants to say .

"Sir please calm down." I help him sit down

"You should go to abnegation now to run the test."Alexander waves at me

I leave with his command and I ride the bus toward abnegation sector . When I arrive by the school , I am exhausted .

Tomorrow the choosing ceremony, I will have to make a speech and hand out the knife . The ceremony is rotated every single years and this year will be dauntless . I walk into the testing room opening computer .

I don't know how many divergent that I will find but I worry that most of them will come from abnegation. I sit down and wait for the first one to arrive

"The first student is here ."

"Come in please ." I am ready

The first boy comes in is from Candor because he is wearing black and white. I inhale and exhale hardly.

"Don't be nervous , I am Delia from dauntless . Sit down and get comfortable." I beckon to him

He walks toward me and sits down . I put the electrodes on his forehead and also mine

"Why the snake and flowers." He asks

I read his name Peter . Candor tells the truth but they are not as curious as erudite .

"The flowers represents envy so snake around it is protecting me away from it." I shrug .

I give him a cup of liquid . I am waiting for him to ask me again

"What is it and what is it going to do to me ." He is shivering

"I am sorry that I can't tell you but please trust me Peter ." I smile at him . "Be brave ."

Peter drinks it and I press the button. He is gone . I watch it carefully. However I found out that he didn't pick up anything too.

It is a sign of divergence . Also when he looks away from the dog told me that he is erudite . A sign of betraying Candor. When the girl is here , he saved the girl. He is amity plus dauntless and abnegation.

I then taps something, he is on the bus . No , he isn't Candor because he lied to the man. However what if that is the truth? He acts that he really doesn't know the man.

He wakes up with sweat on his forehead .

"Peter , I am sorry that I have to leave for a minute ." I shake my head

I leave the room without second thought. I have to delete his footage because his divergence is guarantee . I walk to the room beside me

"Excuse me ." I walk into the room

"What's wrong with dauntless examiner enters without knocking ." An abnegation woman is there

"I want to use computer ." I command her

She is scared . She gets up and leaves the room . I sit in front of the computer and typed something. I have to delete the record for Peter and record his result manually as candor .

After everything done , I relieve a little . So now not all divergent are from abnegation. They can be from every different faction. This can be a distraction for erudite but is that really work? I worry for Alexander .
