Peter Queen stood outside of his childhood home that looked like it had just seen a battle zone. He had his mask in his hands as he looked down at the gravestone of his father. His face was covered in bruises from recent battles and was bleeding from a wound on his head.

"The city is being torn apart..."

Oliver drew an arrow towards a masked assailant and fired. But before the arrow could reach the masked man, they drew a sword and cut the arrow into two.

"...I don't know if I'm strong enough to save everyone."

Miles Morales was sitting in his bedroom with the lights out. The entire city was covered in smoke and fog. Screams of people and crashing cars filling the streets as he felt a wound on his head.

"Do I have what it takes to protect the people I love?" Miles wonders.

Anya Corazon was laying on the rooftop of her apartment building while her entire costume was torn up and her mask was ripped off the rest do the costume.

"I should have known I'm not strong enough." Anya muttered.

Miles was now in the streets, preparing a Venom strike when suddenly a giant strand of black goo came in and grabbed onto him. Then he was flung towards Peter, who shot a strand of webbing to catch Miles before charging at whatever it was that attacked him.

"No matter what happens, I'll never give up." Miles promises.

Peter started to march away from his father's grave and had a stern expression on his face as he placed his mask back on. The mask was bruised and covered in debris and dirt, but he wore it with pride.

"I'll never back down."

"This is my gift." Anya stated as she stood tall against the monster.

"This is my curse." Peter proclaimed as he stood aside her.

"My responsibility." Miles stated as he stood aside them.

Norman Osborn watched as the tank containing his son was beginning to drain. "I'm not going to lose you, too."

Miles was standing in the rubble of the prison when he noticed a certain someone among the escaped inmates.

"Li." Miles was confronted with the man who murdered his father. "You don't know what you took from me!"

Anya was circled by a dozen people with guns and was starting to feel overwhelmed.

"All Anya talks about is how to become a better Spider-Hero. How to help you." MJ said.

MJ was sneaking around a cargo shipping area when she heard something smash into the ground, scaring her as she looked terrified towards a monster.

"What the hell is wrong with Pete?" Miles asks.

"Something is wrong with him..." MJ whispered. "He's in trouble."

Red tentacles came from deep within the Iron Heights prison, before a creature came swiveling its way out. It has big white eyes and a long tongue. It's body is mostly red, with black lines around its body. It let out a screech and showed off its many sharp teeth.

"Let there be carnage!"
