02 – Infinite dreams

There, beyond the trees' silhouettes, there was a light. Kagome's gaze found her friends, around her; Sango, Miroku and Shippo. Everyone was there, except for InuYasha. Her attention was drawn back to wailing she heard, again, her hand gripping her chest in an attempt to ease the pain.

Determined, she put her shoes on and started towards the light, making her way through the bushes, branches and leaves. She sought support from the trunks, nearing the light, and once she reached it, she found herself in front of the same refuge she had just left; the light came from there. With caution, she moved closer, yet as soon as she stepped inside, darkness surrounded her again. And there, beyond the trees' silhouettes, there was a light.
