Chapter 3: Advice

Two weeks later...

MARUZEN Nagoya Bookstore

Jyushi walked around the book sections, feeling a little uneasy. Normally he wouldn't really shop at places like this, but it would be nice to read once in awhile. What was he here for again? In the manga sections, there were people who looked to be otakus. He was a little more overjoyed than he should be when he found it.

Let's see...Where was the manga he recommended? It has to be-Ah! There it is!

From one of the shelves, he grabbed the manga he was looking for. It had two young men on the cover, presumably from the Victorian Era. It must've been the one Ichiro recommended him, thinking Jyushi would probably like something like this. He smiled and blushed, and giggled to himself a little as he held the manga to his chest. He paused and snapped out of it as he was looking left and right to see if other people saw him. He sighed.

"What am I doing...?" Jyushi said, now embarrassed. He quickly made his way to the cash register carefully.

"Will that be all sir? I can recommend a few more titles like this if you're interested." Said the person behind the counter. "N-no thank you. This is fine." Jyushi said as he hurried his way out of the bookstore, putting the book in his bag. Ever since the concert he held in Ikebukuro, He couldn't stop thinking of Ichiro, no matter how much he tried to shake the feeling. That he felt more comfortable around him whenever he was in his presense for some reason. There was something about him that made the chunnibyo have butterflies in his stomach. But at the same time, Jyushi felt bad that he couldn't have the same confidence Ichiro has. But still, something about it really besotted him. he same feelings were there when Jyushi was saved by him from being mugged while he was on a business trip in Nagoya.

He knew that he had feelings for the Heterochromia eyed boy, but he didn't know what to do or how to manage, or even make the first move when he sees him again. He had to go to the one person who possibly doesn't really know much about this stuff, but he can still rely on for some advice.

Ikebukuro

Ichiro was busy cleaning and making breakfast for him and his brothers, while he was being lost in the music he was listening to in his headphones, seemingly way too into the music he's listening to. It didn't take long until Jiro and Saburo came down to witness it, and at that moment he was a little startled and paused. "Ah! Good Morning you two!" He greeted, smiling nervously.

"Uh, good morning, Nii-Chan." Saburo greeted back awkwardly. "How much of that did you guys see?" Ichiro asked, all three of the Yamada brothers embarrassed in a way. "Pretty much enough." Jiro replied jokingly. "Ah...right. I'm sorry you guys had to see that…" Ichiro said. "Now, let's have some breakfast shall we? You guys don't wanna be late!" Ichiro said, going back to listening to his music once more.

As The other two brothers sat at the table, they huddled up slightly and talked quietly so Ichiro wouldn't hear. "Jiro, you ever noticed that Nii-Chan has been acting...I don't know, weird?" Saburo whispered. "Huh? I gotta be honest, it's a little hard to tell. He's only this exited when there's a new anime or game coming out, I think." Jiro replied "But there isn't. Ever since we came to that Visual Kei concert, He's been listening to that creepy music and acting a little weird." Saburo observed. "What's wrong with Aniki having other interests?" Jiro asked. "Nothing. I know we shouldn't be concerned about this, but He hasn't been gaming or watching anime and stuff much since."

"I don't mind if Ichi-Nii has other interests, but the amount of Visual kei he's been listening to lately is kinda concerning. I don't know why." Jiro said, as he was referring to his older brother being passionately too into his music. "For once, you actually make a good point there, Jiro." Saburo teased.

"Hey! The hell do you mean?!"

Meanwhile, In Nagoya

Jyushi took a deep breath as he was standing in front of the building before him, A little nervous. He'd done this so many times, often with his Visual Kei introductions, but this seemed urgent, at least to him. He opened the door and made his way to the front desk.

"Mr. Amaguni, someone wants to make an appointment with you." A receptionist said, opening the door to to the lawyer's office. Hitoya sighed a bit at his desk. "Give it a moment and have them wait a couple minutes." He said as he sipped some coffee while looking at documents.

"It's Jyushi Aimono, sir."

He froze, letting out a longer, audible sigh. What the fuck does he want now?

Hitoya got up and immediately walked out of his office. The receptionists seemed to have already known who this person was by now. What pointless bullshit could the young adult possibly be coming to him now? He lost Amanda again or something? There was two things he hated, Decaf coffee, and Goth teens who constantly interrupt his work.

"Dh!"

Nothing.

"H-Hitoya-san…"

"What? No cheesy ass introduction today?"

"Uh…"

Strange. It seems like he was actually making a real appointment this time. Hitoya sighed.

"Just meet me in my office."

Jyushi came into Hitoya's office and sat down. Hitoya walked to his desk and sipped his coffee. "So what is it?" he asked the young goth as went to get more coffee. "Well um…I've been wanting to ask for some advice. I don't know if you know anything about this or not, but...what do you do if you...like someone?" Jyushi asked nervously.

"What do you mean? Like romantically?"

"Well, yeah but it's...a boy."

The lawyer froze, and stopped pouring the coffee as he did. So it was that kind of talk, huh?

A certain someone came to Hitoya's mind, as much as he really didn't want to look back at those memories, but he actually really admired this person deep down, even if he always beat him in a lot of things without much effort, or at least a bit more effort than Hitoya has, which made those feelings coupled with shame and jealousy. He felt bad because this person genuinely really cared about him, and was there for him after his brother's death. Even if he became a lawyer instead of a musician, he was an inspiration to him still.

Hitoya walked away to face the window in front of his desk, looking at the faint reflection of Jyushi in the corner. He sighed. "Well...if you love him so much, you just have to tell him how you actually feel then. Don't let anything get in the way of that."

For some reason, that sounded a little specific, but Jyushi took the advice anyways. "Thanks, Hitoya! I knew I could count on you!" He beamed. "Yeah yeah. Why don't you ever ask your parents this type of advice?" Hitoya asked. "Oh, uh, they're always working a lot so…" Jyushi said. "But thanks anyways!" He said as he left Hitoya's office.

A few days later

Jyushi was meditating while training in Kuugen temple. He had certain thoughts that came up, causing him to smile, almost letting out giggles. Suddenly, he was kicked by a small angry redhead.

"The fuck are you being all smiley and giggly for!? You think meditation is a fucking joke to you!?" The redhead shouted, annoyed. "N-No Kuko...I-I was just-" Jyushi tried to explain, trying not to cry, even though the goth clearly had tears in his eyes.

"Hmph, that doesn't seem to be working for ya. We might have to try somethin' a bit more challenging!" Kuko said. "Hiee!" Jyushi yelped, causing a book to fall out of his pocket and hit the ground. It seemed to be a manga volume.

"Hm?"

The two were now both looking at the manga. "Well...haha. What do we have here?" Kuko laughed a bit, picking up the volume. "N-no, wait-! Give it back!" Jyushi said panicking as he frantically tried to retrieve the manga from the monk. Kuko was observing and flipping through the pages while trying avoid and ignore the goth trying to grab it from him. "Mhm...uh huh…" Jyushi frantically chased the small monk around the room trying to get the manga back from him.

From the outside, Hitoya came to check on the two to see how training was going. And then heard the usual commotion from the inside.

Of course. What else would he expect at this point?

"G-give it back, Kuko-San! Please!" Jyushi begged as he was reaching for the manga while Kuko was standing in a high place. "You're gonna have to beg a little harder than that.. Jyushi!" Kuko teased.

Hitoya had to come in and stop this Nonsense. "Alright! Break it up!" He shouted, and both of them stopped, looking at him. "Good grief...What's all this about?"

"Aha! Perfect timing!" Kuko said as he jumped down. "You're not gonna fucking believe this! Apparently the Vkei crybaby here decided to become a Otaku!" The monk showed the manga to Hitoya, the lawyer being confused as he took the manga to observe it. "And what of it? I don't understand. What's wrong with Jyushi having other hobbies?"

"Yeah. D-don't you read manga too?" Jyushi asked. Kuko had no say in this, as he was now looking stupid for even accusing it. "Well, I'm sure he wanted to try something new for himself. Isn't that right, Jyushi?" Hitoya asked.

Jyushi was suddenly surprised, then blushed.

"Um...A-actually…"

Ikebukuro

Ichiro was laying on the couch after work. This time he was listening to some random Visual Kei album. His brothers came into the room and stood in front of the couch, As if they were in an intervention for their older brother. "Hm? What's up? You guys need anything?" Ichiro asked.

"Um, Nii-Chan, We've been a little concerned about you lately. You've been acting kinda strange ever since that concert." Saburo said. "What about it?" Ichiro asked, sitting up from the couch. "It's not there's anything wrong with what you've been listening to, it's just that you've been listening to a concerning amount of it lately." Jiro added.

"I don't understand what you're talking about. Can't a guy just listen to music just to listen to music?" Ichiro said, getting a little defensive now. Saburo and Jiro looked over to see some CDs that Ichiro bought the other day. They sure weren't any Idol anime albums that's for sure. "Dreams and God are fake…" Jiro said observing the album.

"And what of it? Someone recommended it to me and these guys sound pretty cool. I don't see what the big deal is." Ichiro said, embarassed for whatever reason to the two. "That someone being the lead singer of ArgoξOrchestra, right?" Saburo asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ichiro was now really embaressed and began to blush. "Tch!" He tried to keep his composure. "I don't see how that would be either of you guys' business!" He said, trying to be stern with them.

"Ohhh I see. It's because of that lead singer, huh?" Jiro asked.

"W-we just talked and went over some things, alright!" Ichiro said, trying way too hard to hide his embarressment.

"So what's the deal? It's not like you're in love with him!" Jiro said.

Ichiro the looked at both of his brothers, the three of them in complete silence. It wasn't until the two younger brothers quickly took the hint as The eldest was completely red in the cheeks with blush, then looked down in embaressment.

"Oh."

"My."

"God."
