Hello, fellow Trainers and Hunters. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. In the last chapter, Jaune got Rufflet as his first Pokemon, who's well-liked by the Arc Family in the end after helping Jaune's father fight off a few Beowolves. Now, Rufflet did peck a few eyes out, shocking both Jaune and his father. In the end, Rufflet is accepted into the Arc family. I admit that Rufflet was a little violent in the last chapter, but I wanted it to go like that.

Not only that, we see some of the large Arc Family. Here's whom we've seen of the Arc family so far:

*Nora Valkyrie. Age 11*

"Renny! It's raining!" Nora pointed out.

"I know, Nora. Looks like we'll be staying in for the day." Ren replied. "What do you think, Sabrina?"

"Honestly, Ren? I just want to get to a point when we're not scrounging just to survive." Sabrina lamented. "We've been wandering for a couple years now

"Plus the fact that these Pokemon have been popping for the last four years. That's a little unsettling." Ren admitted.

"Are you kidding? I think these Pokemon are cool!" Nora cheered with a wide grin. "Imagine if I found one."

"I don't think that's a good idea." Ren argued.

"Why not?" Nora whined. Suddenly, Nora heard a sparking sound. "What's that noise?"

Sabrina closed her eyes and did a telepathic scan to confirm the noise. Indeed, there was something there. "Ren, Nora's right. There's something in here."

Ren instinctively brought out Stormflower slowly. "Everyone be careful. We don't know what it is."

The trio moved slowly to the supposed source of the sparking. It turned out to be a small yellow spider with big blue eyes with black irises and four blue points at the ends of its legs. "Joltik." The now-named Joltik said.

"Awww, it's adorable." Nora cooed, instantly picking it up and cuddling it.

"Nora, I don't think you should be touching an electrical spider." Ren said.

"But Renny, it's soo cute!" Nora retorted.

"Ren has a point, Nora." Sabrina agreed with the silent ninja.

"Not you too, Sabrina." Nora groaned.

"Nora, we don't know what this thing is really capable of." Sabrina said softly.

There was a knock on the door. Ren answered it and it was the innkeeper, Mr. Doug. 'What can we do for you, Mr. Doug?"

"Sorry to disturb you this early in the morning, but can you three look into something for me?" Mr. Doug asked.

"What is it?" Ren asked.

"A creature called a Pokemon has been causing a few problems. If you could get rid of it, that would be appreciated." Mr. Doug explained.

"You got it, Mr. Doug!" Nora smiled widely, causing the innkeeper to sigh. With that, the trio went downstairs and into the basement. Sabrina felt a psychic vibration which caused her to clutch her head in pain. "Sabrina, are you okay?"

"I-I feel another Pokemon nearby." Sabrina muttered. "Over by the furnace." The three inched closer to the furnace. What they found was a white pokemon with a tiny mouth, a bright green head with two red horns on its head, the bigger one in the front and the smaller one in the back. "Oh, my gosh, it looks like it's freezing."

"R-Ralts." Ralts shivered.

"That's so sad." Nora teared up a little. "So, it's been down here the whole time trying to keep warm."

Ralts noticed the three humans and walked up to them, or more specifically, Sabrina. It then connected its mind with Sabrina's and they looked at each other for about four minutes. Gaining a smile, Sabrina held out her hands. Ralts managed to float into them and was then brought into a soft hug. "How do we get her out of here?" Sabrina asked.

"I have a solution." Ren smiled slightly as he held open a bag which Nora grinned. The three told Mr. Doug that it was all taken care of which made the old innkeeper smile. Once they got back to their room, they let Ralts out to meet Joltik

"Joltik." Joltik raised a leg.

"Ralts." Ralts shook Joltik's leg.

"They're gonna be the bestest friends!" Nora quietly cheered.

"I'm honestly glad that we got to stay in this town." Ren said. "After all, we did help them with those few Grimm terrorizing them."

"If they hadn't we wouldn't have found these two Pokemon." Nora said softly. "I hope you find a Pokemon too, Renny, so you don't feel left out."

Ren didn't answer, but let out a sigh with a small smile. "I have a feeling that will happen, Nora, especially since they're continuing to pop up all over Remnant."

Suddenly, Sabrina lifted her right hand up, hoisting up a young woman wearing a black uniform with a big R on the center of the shirt. "Who are you?"

"You'll never know. Hand over your Pokemon." The young woman ordered.

"How bout no!" Nora leapt and punched the yung woman in the stomach just as Sabrina released her. When the young woman hit the ground, she went unconscious. "Who the hell was that?!"

"I don't know." Ren admitted. "Whoever that was, they wanted our Pokemon."

"They're not getting Joltik!" Nora cuddled Joltik close to her chest.

"Ditto for Ralts." Sabrina agreed. "However, we won't be able to stay here much longer." That got the trio to ponder. Sabrina may have been right, but they still needed somewhere to stay. Suddenly, the night had them all thinking.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. Nora has got a Joltik for her first Pokemon, though Ren and Sabrina were a little hesitant of her keeping it. We met the Shion Town Innkeeper: Mr. Doug. Shion isn't destroyed as seen and it's more of a town than a village in this story.

Also, yes. Sabrina is a survivor of Kuroyuri just like Ren and Nora and she's the second non-thug character from the Pokemon universe. Now, I'm giving Sabrina a Ralts instead of an Abra as her first Pokemon in this story. Now, I know Sabrina is different than she was in the show, games, and manga, but her powers are more tempered in this story.

I'm sorry for the ones who wanted action like the last chapter, but this chapter would be slow-paced, focusing more on emotion. Though, Nora does punch a Team Rocket thug. After this, there will only be two flashback chapters left before finally getting to the main story.
