Hello, fellow Trainers and Hunters. Centurion Maximo checking in and welcome back to Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. Well, here we are. The final flashback chapter of the main eight and last, but definitely not least, it's Pyrrha Nikos. Now, after this chapter, it's finally onto the main story.

Anyway, in the last chapter, we saw Ren get his first Pokemon in Treecko who brought the trio to a beautiful area. Ren even blushed looking at Nora twirling around in the flower area which got interrupted by Sabrina. In the end, Sabrina decides to go off on her own while Ren and Nora go back to Shion, but Sabrina reassures the two that they'll see each other again.

*Mistral. Nikos Residence. 15: 12 pm*

*Pyrrha Nikos: Age 12*

Pyrrha had just finished her daily workout still fresh off her win in the tournament. Even so, she sighed in slight sadness. "There's my little champion." A voice said in a soft, sweet voice. Pyrrha turned to see her mother who looked like an older version of herself. This was Athena Nikos.

"Oh, hello, Mother." Pyrrha sighed as she sat down.

Athena noticed this and sat down beside her daughter. "Sweetie, what's wrong?"

"Mother, I may be the four times champion, but I'm not really happy. I received another invitation to a private party which I declined." Pyrrha said.

Athena gasped lightly. "You declined? Why?"

"Because I know that all those people will just use me to better their own status in society." Pyrrha answered as a matter of factly.

"I see. That's too bad, and here I was hoping you'd find a boyfriend." Athena dramatically lamented.

"Mother, I want someone who can overlook my status and see me for me." Pyrrha stated.

"Oh, don't worry, Pyrrha. I still believe you'll find someone." Athena reassured.

Pyrrha couldn't help but smile at her mother. "Thanks, Mom."

"Now, come on. Zeus will be home soon and I'll be starting dinner." Athena gestured. Pyrrha got up and walked back to the house when she was suddenly bumped from behind. Pyrrha and Athena turned around to see a bipedal light blue dragon pokemon with white triangular eyes, three thick gray ridges covering the top of its head, a round snout, yellow circular eyes, and a yellow lower jaw with two teeth protruding upwards. "What is that?"

"I think it's one of those Pokemon we've been hearing about." Pyrrha correctly guessed.

"Bagon!" Bagon growled.

"Bagon?" Pyrrha asked. Bagon continued growling as it turned its head away from the two.

"Pyrrha, sweetie, I think you should back away." Athena said worriedly.

"Wait, Mom." Pyrrha put up her hand. "I don't think it's attacking us. I think it's running away from something else." Pyrrha was proven right when three wild Makuhita appeared. Athena was a little confused at the appearance of the Makuhita, but Bagon was continuing to growl and charged at the trio of wild Pokemon. Bagon hit the lead Makuhita hard, sending it back a couple of feet. However, the other two tag-tamed the rock head Pokemon, knocking it down for a minute.

Pyrrha and Athena were both watching this battle in slight astonishment. However, watching the Bagon get tag-teamed by the Makuhita made Pyrrha grab her weapons. "Pyrrha, what are you doing?" Athena asked in pure concern.

"That Bagon may be a Pokemon, but it's in trouble and I'm gonna help!" Pyrrha declared as her pocket glowed. Reaching the battle, she punted one of the Makuhita away a couple of feet just as a fourth one arrived.

"Makuhita!" The Makuhita group repeated angrily, charging Pyrrha and the Bagon.

Pyrrha took out her scroll and saw it was bronze. Opening it up, it instantly redirected to Bagon's move set. Looking at each other, Bagon nodded at Pyrrha. "Alright, Bagon, Bite attack!" Bagon ran to one of the Makuhita and bit its arm, but that didn't really do anything. Instead, the Bagon rammed its own head into another Makuhita, knocking it down.

"That little guy is tough." Athena commented.

One of the Makuhita actually went for Pyrrha, but the Mistral Spartan simply knocked it away with her shield. Bagon noticed this and started to see this human in a different light. One of the Makuhita tried to attack Pyrrha from behind, but Bagon hit it away with it's head, not feeling anything at all. "You have a hard head, don't you." Pyrrha muttered.

"Bagon!" Bagon called out as it and Pyrrha directed their attention to the other two Makuhita. "Bagon!"

Pyrrha slowly moved close enough to talk to the Bagon without the two Makuhita overhearing her. "Bagon, try to move around behind them and I'll keep them focused on me." Bagon nodded in understanding. The two Makuhita began to look at the Bagon, but Pyrrha managed to get their attention. "Hey! I'm here!" She got combat ready. The Makuhita looked at each other and nodded.

Suddenly, they charged her and threw punches. However, Pyrrha easily evaded their attacks and smacked the ground with her javelin. Though disoriented, the Makuhita weren't out and managed to hit Pyrrha in the side. She hissed in slight pain, but it wasn't a hard hit. Luckily, Bagon hit the Makuhita not closest to her. The final Makuhita noticed, giving Pyrrha the opportunity to throw it far away from her home. Any Makuhita that were still there retreated.

Sighing in relief, Pyrrha was suddenly hugged by her mother. "Oh, Pyrrha! Are you okay?" Athena asked, worried.

"I'm fine, Mom." Pyrrha hugged back, feeling a new mass on her leg. Looking down, Pyrrha saw Bagon rubbing itself against her leg. "I think Bagon likes me."

"Are you sure about that, dear?" Athena raised an eyebrow. "It was just growling at us a few minutes ago."

"I can tell." Pyrrha smiled and rubbed Bagon's head, despite it being rock hard. "It wants to be with me."

"I don't know, Pyrrha. I..." Athena began to say, but then she saw her daughter's face: An expression of genuine lonliness, longing, and want of true friendship. "Okay, but you're responsible for him."

"Of course, Mom. I will be responsible." Pyrrha reassured with a smile. With that, Pyrrha, Athena, and Bagon went inside the house.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. This was the final flashback chapter involving Pyrrha Nikos and her mother: Athena Nikos. Pyrrha's Pokemon ends up being a Bagon and helps it fight off a small group of Makuhita. Not only that, we see that Pyrrha isn't satisfied being the four-times champion, something her mother does understand.

We also get our first hint that dark type moves aren't very effective against Fighting type Pokemon, not that Pyrrha knows that yet. As usual, if anyone has any ideas for this story, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.

PS: Like Zorua is one of my favorite Gen 5 Pokemon, Bagon is one of my favorite Gen 3 Pokemon.
