Hello, fellow trainers. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. In the last chapter, we focused on Weiss as she was feeling really down, same with Nicholas. Ruby forced the two to eat. Later on, the two left RWBY's dorm room and wound up in a park for Pokemon where Weiss befriends a Yamper which she named Samuel. She also has a small talk with Summer that somewhat lifts her spirits. In the end, Weiss tells her friends that it'll take a while for her and Nicholas to get better, but they will.

Here is the OC/Story Contributor List so far:

Now, time for the introduction of more bad guys with Team Magma!

*Beacon Academy. Professor Rowan's Classroom. 11:12 am*

A couple more days had passed and Weiss along with Nicholas were slowly getting better. Their friends, human and Pokemon alike were happy the heiress was moving past her loss at the docks. She was eating more again, same with her Piplup. This was helped by her new Yamper named Samuel.

Currently, the eight plus Velvet were in Professor Rowan's class as he had Archimedes on his perch. The nine students had their Pokemon outside their Poke-Balls. "It warms my heart to see some of you have more than one Pokemon now." Professor Rowan smiled.

"Thanks, Professor Rowan!" Ruby smiled back, patting Rosebud while Thorn just sat there.

"I'm also happy to see more than one faunus in this class." Rowan kept his smile, but he directed it towards Velvet who was cuddling Thumper. "Do any other students here have Pokemon of their own besides you nine yet?"

"Sadly, no, Professor Rowan." Pyrrha answered, Achilles sitting on her desk, but making sure not to block her vision of the older man.

"Hmmm, well it's to be expected." Rowan noted, but still sounded disappointed, "Finding your first partner is not something that happens everyday. We are also still setting up a way for picking an ideal first partner for those who don't want to wait. But we should have it ready soon." he then admits, sounding very hopeful even within his serious tone.

"Really? What are you talking about, Professor Rowan?" Blake asked, gaining curiosity.

"Ha hah. Well I don't want to spoil too much. But we are currently setting up sanctuaries for specific Pokémon who are being trained and raised to be easy starting partners for people who want to become a trainer. It's taken many years of preparation, but in a few months the process will begin worldwide." Rowan explains proudly.

"That sounds great, Prof!" Yang fist-pumped, Ben mimicking her movement and Johnny just sitting there. "However, I wanted to talk to you about something potentially important. No doubt you know of our little adventure at the docks that night."

"Yes of course. I am very proud of all of you. Although I know that Weiss and Nicholas had an unfortunate encounter with Roman and his powerful Lampent. I hope you take what happened and learn from it. Water is good against fire but typing isn't everything. It's a factor to keep in mind but not to always rely on." Rowen responds with pride.

"Believe me, Professor, we are getting better. Slowly, but we are getting there." Weiss smiled slightly.

"Well, I went back down there to see if there was anything we might've missed and I found this." Yang got up and came down to the center of the classroom. She then showed Rowan the symbol that looked like a volcano and was red-orange and brown in color.

Seeing the symbol made the older man go wide-eyed. "Where did you see this on the docks?"

"Among the many crates. Some had these on them." Yang explains.

"Hmmmm... that symbol. Belongs to an extremist group known as Team Magma. A group who are obsessed with furthering Remnant's technology and are willing to take any risk and make any sacrifice to achieve it." Rowen explains.

"Jeez, sounds like one of those old Saturday morning cartoon villain groups." Ruby commented, walking over along with their friends which included Velvet now. "So, we've met Team Galactic, the White Fang, and now there's a Team Magma?"

"Sadly, there are more bad groups than just those three, Ms. Rose. Unfortunately, they're all widely spread all over the world." Rowan sighed. "They each have their own specific goals, but if they're working in conjunction like at the docks, we're in more trouble than originally thought. Who knows what Team Magma is plotting at this very moment."

"Maybe you should tell us about the ones you know?" Yang then points out. Rowen nods and soon begins to explain as best he can of the evil teams that are currently known.

"Yes. Well, you've met Team Galactic, but you don't know they're ultimate goal: To erase the current world and create a brand-new one to replace it." Rowan began, but Weiss cut him off.

"What?! Why the hell would they want to do that?!" Weiss screamed.

"Ice Queen, they're obviously not right in the head if they believe that." Yang deadpanned. "Go on, Prof. Next team?"

"Next we have Team Aqua. Opposite to Team Magma they wish to return the world to natural order. Seeing technology as something that has weakened human kind and are ruining pokemon. So they seek to one day eradicate technology as a whole." He reveals.

"Well, that's a bit extreme." Ruby raised an eyebrow at Team Aqua's goal. "Think of where we'd be without technology. I'd hate to be in a world without technology."

Rowan nods, "Next we have... Team Plasma. Admittedly we don't exactly understand their goal as a whole. They seem to be against the idea of both humans and faunus owning pokemon and want them to be free in the wild. But they've also committed many atrocities using said pokemon. So we don't know what exactly they're up to but their goals are concerning."

Everyone looked at each other, but Yang then had a thought. "Say, Prof, do you know any people with a big R on their shirts? I ran into one of them years ago when I first found Johnny."

"Ah yes. Team Rocket. Honestly they're the most straightforward and probably the sane of the known evil teams. Team Rocket has one goal in mind. Complete control over pokemon and financial power. I wouldn't say they have world domination in mind but they're definitely steering in that direction it would seem. Probably the largest and most dangerous criminal organization of all of them with deeply rooted connections to the underground." Rowan explains.

"So, that's the name of those guys. Thanks, Prof." Yang thanked, happy that she could finally pin a name to the guys that tried to get Johnny.

"This is most concerning." Ren voiced. "Seems there are more enemies than we thought. We'll have to do more to be prepared."

"I agree." Jaune said. "Sure, we defeated Team Galactic and the White Fang at the docks that time, but I highly doubt that was their best."

"Rufflet!" Ace squawked in agreement.

"Well, I did beat the guy named Joey "Jawbreaker" Cross." Ruby brought up. "I'm guessing he's a higher up in Team Galactic."

"He can't be all that if he lost so easily to you in an actual fight. Granted, as a Pokemon trainer he was pretty tough from what you said." Yang noted.

"Well, to be fair, another lesson Mom taught me was to use the opponent's anger to my advantage." Ruby smirked.

"Meanwhile, I lost to Roman, not just to his Lampent, but his coat suddenly lighting itself on fire with purple flames, not to mention a sword made purely out of said flames popped out of the gun nozzle of his cane." Weiss reminded.

"I fought him as you know. Although we didn't really fight much. We had one exchange and he was like "nope" and ran away." Ruby noted, "I don't think he had Shadowfire on him either."

"You may be right, but I thank you for showing me this symbol, Ms. Xiao Long. I'll bring this up with Headmaster Ozpin very soon. We'll need to be very prepared from now on. I feel a storm is coming..." Rowan stared out the window at the clear sky, the sun shining through.

Everyone looked at each other and then at their pokémon. They needed to get stronger as fast as possible. Within reason of course but it still should be their #1 goal, that and getting new partners whenever they can.

*Mt. Chimney, North Anima. Team Magma Hideout. 13:54 pm*

Inside Mt. Chimney was a facility that looked like an alien world as tech was laid throughout every part of the facility, but the tech didn't look like it ran on dust, but rather something else. There were multiple people wearing red-orange uniforms, but they were slightly different for the males and females, just like Team Galactic. In another part of the facility, a bunch of people were talking about what happened at the docks with Team Galactic and the White Fang as well as their losses.

"So, the joint operation of Team Galactic, the White Fang, and Roman Totchwick... failed thanks to a bunch of kids..." A young woman with lilac hair and eyes of the exact same color started. She wore a red hoodie with yellow horns, a red jacket with a short red dress with the Team Magma emblem on it. She also wore heeled red boots with black kneecaps, as well black gloves with red fingers, supported by red bracers with yellow lines.

"We shouldn't underestimate these kids if they stopped that operation, Courtney." A tall man, with dark eyes and black hair responded. This man wore a red shirt, with the logo of Team Magma etched onto it. The shirt was with a hood, decorated with two black horns and a black dot in the front, and has a short red cloak on its back. He also wore a black uniform, underneath his shirt, with two pairs of gray stripes around his thighs, red pants, black shoes, and a pair of red gloves with red bands around his forearms.

"These kids... we're outnumbered, Tabitha." Courtney pressed her finger onto the black, rectangular table.

"Then we should take them even more seriously. I heard that Joey 'Jawbreaker' Cross lost to the youngest of them. Clearly, they're skilled." Tabitha retorted.

"Or... the White Fang and Team Galactic suck." Courtney adds bluntly.

"Now, now, Courtney. Team Magma didn't get this far by underestimating our enemies." Tabitha reminded calmly.

"I guess I'm having a hard time believing a bunch of inexperienced teenagers stomped a bunch of notorious criminals." Courtney explains. "It just doesn't make sense."

"Again, they were only Grunts except for Joey, Rachel, and Roman. Also, Roman creamed Weiss Schnee, no doubt lowering her spirits." Tabitha brought up.

"True. At least Roman proved his worth after that embarrassing loss to that little girl with the sniper scythe." Courtney admits.

"The one that beat Joey at the docks. I anticipate Roman isn't letting him live it down anytime soon." Tabitha chuckled.

"No doubt. Now how much do we know of the nine hunters and their pokemon?" Courtney then asks.

Tabitha sighed. "Unfortunately, not so much. We don't have enough operatives in Vale to provide exact information."

"Unacceptable." Courtney replied bluntly in a calm tone and a blank face. "We should send out scouts immediately and find out as much as we can. We can't let these new pieces on the board blindside us again." the intense girl points out.

"Patience, Courtney. Team Magma is smarter than Team Galactic for multiples reasons." Tabitha advised. "Now, how did your mission with Blaise in Vacuo fare?"

"It went perfectly, Tabitha." A young man with blonde hair that covers one of his eyes responded as he walked into the meeting room. He wore a hooded red shirt with a Team Magma logo on it, which had a black spot between his two black horns and a cloak behind his back. He also wore a belt around his waist, some black pants with two stripes around the sleeves. He also had black shoes and gloves with red bracers.

"Ah, Blaise. It's good you're back. We're you doing the new commander screening?" Tabitha asked.

"Sadly, none of the guys here show promise. Maybe at one of our other bases, we'll find potential." Blaise shrugged.

"I see." Tabitha nodded. "We were just discussing what occurred at the docks."

"Oh that shit show? Hah hah, talk about embarrassing. At least Roman is still worth something." Blaise noted with a smile.

"The fact that you actually have a friendship with him is baffling to me." Courtney rolled her eyes.

"He's a hoot! Seriously, I never laugh as much with him as I do with anyone else!" Blaise explains happily.

"Anyway, I have actually been talking with Lionel and he might be sent here to help bolster our forces." Tabitha revealed.

"You serious?" Blaise asked, not wanting to mishear.

"I'm always serious." Tabitha deadpanned.

"Maybe Team Magma should make a quake to lure these kids out." Blaise suggested.

"You know, I actually agree with Blaise." Courtney shivered.

"I admit doing that has the merit of luring these kids out, we can't risk showing our hand this soon." Tabitha rubbed his chin. "Do we have an operative available that can cause this quake?"

"What about Ember? She can sneak around fairly easily." Blaise suggested.

"Ember is under my sect. Seeing as I want to deal with these teens the most I'll give her a special mission.~" Courtney replies, finally showing the tiniest smile.

"You sure she can handle a big mission like this, Courtney?" Tabitha was obviously being cautious. "This will be her first mission of a caliber like this."

"Then it will be a good test of her abilities. It won't hurt us too much if she fails." Courtney replies coldly.

"Please set aside your sadism please, Courtney. I admit that Ember from your group holds great potential and her Fletchinder isn't to be trifled with, either." Tabitha remembered when they first met Ember Fawkes.

Courtney gives Tabitha a slightly annoyed look, "I'm not a sadist." she defends lamely.

"Your words speak otherwise. It is a reason why I was selected to be Maxie's right hand and not you." Tabitha bluntly brought up.

Courtney's placid face quickly turned into frustration, "Why you~" She growls, "Don't you dare~ I am Maxie's most loyal and competent officer. You're only his right hand because making me his would eat up too much of my time.~ So he had to settle for second best." she says in a scathing tone. Blaise holding back a massive grin as he loves it when presses the Maxie button around Courtney.

"If that were true, then why did he pass you on and give Blaise praise for that mission back in the Northern Wastes of Atlas three years ago?" Tabitha asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Hmph, I know how much he likes me.~ I don't need him to openly praise my work for it would be a waste of time. Blaise on the other hand is a needy dog who needs attention." Courtney defends.

"Ha ha hah! Guilty as charged!" Blaise fully admits with a huge toothy smile.

"Then how come I have led successful mission after mission since I was selected? Or do you two not remember how I defeated and killed Maxie's previous right hand in the Coliseum of Carnage?" Tabitha reminded, making Blaise shudder as they remembered the day that Tabitha mercilessly beat every opponent that faced him.

Courtney then fully faces Tabitha with fear not being an emotion she easily felt. "I will not argue your success rate but note that I have an equally clean record. But if you're issuing a challenge I will gladly crush you if Leader Maxie allows it.~" She growls.

"Oh, I have no doubt you will try and I have no doubt you will fail." Tabitha responded with a chillingly cold voice.

Blaise felt as if the temperature of the room had dropped as Team Magma's best were now staring daggers at each other. He yet again had to hold himself back less he broke into a giddy giggle fit. He'd love to see these two tear into each other. Ah but alas he must keep them from doing so, "As fun as it would be to see you two turn each other into a bloody mess. We have a job to do." he then reminds them.

"Blaise is indeed correct." Tabitha said, sitting back down, not even losing a single ounce of composure. "Courtney, summon Ember Fawkes."

"Ripe Bastard" Courtney insults bitterly as she sits down and uses her earpiece to summon Ember and in less than a minute the young girl comes rushing into the room.

"Ember Fawkes, please sit down. We have something important to discuss with you." Tabitha gestured to an empty seat.

"Yes sir!" Ember replied as she caught her breath and sat down making sure to keep the three admins in her vision, although most of it was on Courtney.

"Courtney here has suggested you be sent on your first big mission and I agree with her. You are to go to Slateport and plant a Seismic Charge which will cause an earthquake and lure some new enemies out." Tabitha revealed. "Do you think you can pull this off successfully?"

Ember looks over at Tabitha for a second before glancing over to Courtney who simply gives a stiff nod of confirmation. She then looks back at Tabitha, "You tell me to jump, I ask how high sir. I will get this done. Anything I should know before I go?" Ember then responds dutifully.

"Just know to be very discreet and let no one see you. Also, these new enemies are about your age that actually beat a group of Team Galactic Grunts, White Fang soldiers, and Roman Torchwick at the docks. This includes Joey 'Jawbreaker' Cross." Tabitha explained.

Ember's eyes notably widen for a second before they narrow into determination, "I see. I will keep that in mind." she assures them all.

"Good. Now, you'd best be off. Succeed and I might just inform Maxie of it." Tabitha enticed. "He's been looking to expand the number of commanding officers beyond myself, Courtney, and Blaise along with more commanders and lieutenants. You hold such promise. Go out there and prove it."

Ember looks surprised again but composes herself just as quickly, "I am honored by your words Tabitha. Although I feel I am too young for such a position. For now I am quite content being one of Courtney's." she assures him in a loyal and respectful tone.

"Oh, nonsense. Besides, we need more versatile minds like yours, especially since these kids seem to be getting involved." Tabitha reasoned. "However, it is your choice."

"I uh..." She looks back at Courtney who was staring at her with half lidded cold eyes, "If our leader gives me the clear I will not refuse." She then says calmly, which Courtney seemed to like as she eased her gaze and closed her eyes.

"Good to hear. Now, you'd best be off." Tabitha said. "Make us proud, Ember Fawkes."

Ember stands up and bows a little before leaving to go do as she was asked. When she left Courtney scowls at Tabitha, "Offering her a promotion like that. You call me a sadist but place that much pressure onto a teen?" she questions.

"Please, I have more faith in her than you, what with your sadism giving her a stern glare." Tabitha voiced.

"I have a lot of faith in Ember. I just know not to give the younger folk too much pressure as it can heavily affect their performance. What if the desire for a promotion gets to her head and makes her try too hard and which will lead to losing focus and messing up." Courtney replies, ignoring the sadist comment this time.

"Don't you worry. I'll be sending my own candidate to assist her: Landon Mane." Tabitha revealed.

"A supervisor? So much for having faith in her." Courtney noted bluntly.

"We are Team Magma, Courtney, Innovators of the future! Thus, we must be smarter than the norm, you know that." Tabitha reminded.

"I guess my attempt at teasing flew over your head." She then says with a tiny smirk, having gotten a rise out of Tabitha much to her satisfaction.

"Anyway, this operation should be enough to draw out those kids and let us see who we're dealing with." Tabitha clasped his hands together. "Blaise, don't you and your candidate have an operation to do in Veilstone?"

"Indeed we do!" he admits as he stands back up. "Guess I should get going to do that." he then adds before rushing out to leave the two magma rivals in the same room.

"You must agree with me on this, Courtney: Joey Cross must be embarrassed being beaten by a kid and Roman isn't letting him live it down." Tabitha said.

"The irony, Tabitha, is that I agree with you with most things actually. As much as I hate it. Maxie still made you his lieutenant and I do not disagree with his choice. You do deserve to be by his side. But I also believe that I am still Maxie's best Admin. I will take your place Tabitha. But I will do it the Team Magma way." She assures him coldy before standing up and leaving.

Tabitha chuckled to himself. "Oh, we will see, Courtney. However, I do have faith in your candidate." He then got up and walked out to the window, his hands clasped behind his back. "It seems one of our projects is nearly complete." He laid eyes on a large tank glowing with orange energy.

Hello, everyone. I hope you all liked this chapter Rwby: Remnant's Trainers. This chapter had Professor Rowan telling the eight plus Velvet about Teams Galactic, Aqua, Magma, Plasma, and Rocket, the heroes grateful. Meanwhile, we are introduced to Team Magma and it's three Admins: Tabitha, Courtney, and Blaise. Not only that, but we also meet a Team Magma OC: Ember Fawkes who is given a mission in Slateport. We'll have to wait until the next chapter to see how that plays out.

As usual, if anyone has any ideas for this story, please let me know in the comments/reviews, or personally PM me.
