"New Direction you're on in 20.'' A person from backstage says to them as the group were in the green room.
The whole group were nervous about going on stage, they wished what they actually practiced for with the whole group would have been better.
"Do you think that girl Normani from our history class would join if we make it pass sectionals?" Arite asked moving around the table towards Sam.
"Guys please stop talking negative okay?" Quinn says standing up.
Every since she started dating the Latina Quinn was a different person but that's because the brown eyed girl stole her heart and made her a better person way better than Drew.
"You guys Quinn is right and I am definitely excited to get out there and kicked some butt tonight and show them that we are the new and improved New Direction and we are better then last year!" Mercedes yells pumping up the group.
Shelby wasn't there for the morning meeting like she told Will she was gonna be there. In fact last night she drove the four hour trip back home where she left her daughter at. Something wasn't right and she had to get to the bottom of it.
"So you saying that you don't know if the baby is mine or not?" Finn asked from his spot on the couch.
Rachel looks up from her hands, she didn't know this was gonna be hard to explain to the tall boy. Yes she still loves him but her heart belongs to Brittany.
"Well can't you just lie to her and tell her it's mine and we can be together again just like old times." He says smiling as she reaches over to grab a hold of her hand.
"No I can't do that Finn and I don't want to do that to you and it wouldn't be fair to this baby if Brittany is the actually father of my child." She says moving back from him. "I'm sorry I just can't do that to her." She says barely above a whisper as her tears fall freely.
Standing up Finn balls his fists before actually kicking the coffee table over before walking out of her house.
Rachel doesn't know how she was sitting there till she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her shoulders. "Finn I'm fine go away." She says sniffing as she wipes her face off before looking up at the person who was holding her.
"Rachel I wished you would have came to us about this situation." Shelby says holding her daughter as Rachel broke down and starting crying.
On the inside Shelby was furious , but she couldn't show how she was really feeling. Her daughter needs her and that's what she was gonna do be there for her every step of the way.
"Do you actually know who baby it is?" She asks after awhile once she felt Rachel breathing has calm down.
That night flashbacks back inside her head as she remembers Brittany having sex with her when she was drunk and the blonde was mad at her for sleeping with Finn the day he came back.
"It's Brittany's." She says above a whisper as she looking down at her feet. She could feel her mother staring at her and she felt like she was burning a hole.
"Rachel Barbara Berry!" She yells as she stood up on her feet. "How could you be so reckless?" She asked her as she moves in front of her. "What about your dreams huh?" She questioned her. "What about NYADA and Broadway?''
Shaking her head Rachel looks down in shame as she starts to cry again. She knew she messed up her career before it even started.
"Do you have anything to say for yourself young?" She says in her motherly tone.
The younger brunette refused to look up at her mother as she continues to let her tears fall. She knew she screwed up her life and she's only just a kid herself, she can't raise a child by herself.
"You don't think I know that?" She asked after she found her voice. "I'm only in my sophomore year and I'm pregnant so sorry if I messed up my life but y-you no different than me since you don't know who my real father is!" She yells as she shoves her mother back.
There was a loud crashing sound heard in the living room and Holly walks in just in time to see her fiancee laying on the floor.
"Rachel what the hell she's pregnant!" The blonde runs in and over to her. "Baby are you okay?" She asks helping her up and moves her over to the couch.
The younger brunette covers her mouth before running out of the house.
Shelby stayed quiet for a few minutes before looking over at Holly. "So is she." She says. She knew she shouldn't been hard on her but at the same time she wrong herself, not only she was wrong about Brittany knowing she was pregnant but she also got her daughter pregnant.
"What?" Holly says shaking her head.
"Break a leg out there." Santana says smiling as she gives her girlfriend Quinn a good luck kiss before she walked on stage with the rest of the group.
It sucks for her because her mom wasn't there or Shelby and she couldn't go out and dance with her friends. The only song she can do with Mercedes was the one her and Quinn practiced for and it's safe to say she doesn't have to do any dancing.
Sam, Arite and Ryder did the first song and it was This is how we roll from Florida Georgia Line followed by the whole group doing Empire State of mind.
"Santana are you sure you want to sing this song with me?" Mercedes asks while the group was finishing up their last song before they went on.
The Latina was taking off her face mask before looking over at her good friend. "Jones don't back out on me I'm fine singing a duet with you." She says smiling before fixing her tie and walking over to the other side of the stage.
The group comes off stage as the coward were still pumped up.
Quinn was smiling as she was walking by Mercedes before the dark skinned girl grabbed her by her arm and stops her.
"Mercedes what's wrong?'' Quinn asked her as she was staring at her.
"Girl I can't do this and you San desperately deserve to sing this song together."
The blonde starts to nods her head but on the inside she was definitely freaking out before she walked back out onto the stage and takes a deep breath. Just as Quinn slowly closing her eyes she started singing.

All three teams made their way back onto stage.

Quinn smiles as she wraps her arms around the Latina's neck before kissing her lips softly and passionate in front of everyone.
Judy was shocked as she looks over at her other daughter who was looking away from her. She was so glad her husband couldn't make the trip but to save her ass she gonna need to talk to Quinn alone about her relationship with the Latina.
