The Lotus Café
It was a relaxing morning. Donnie and Raph were still in bed probably exhausted from their Italian escapades. He didn't see or hear Attila up anywhere either. Leo prepared his Tea just how he liked it. Splinter wasn't up yet either. He smirked to himself. "I can go sit in Dad's recliner." He quietly went over to his seat and sat down. Leaning back and putting the foot rest out. With a content sigh, he took a nice sip of his tea it was then he felt a small bit of weight jump onto his lap and suddenly get bigger where it was hard to move.
He looked down it was Klunk. "Hi," she responded, looking back at him as a cat loaf.
"Hi….do you mind moving?" Leo asked.
"No, you have to stay." Klunk replied.
"Stay for what?" Leo asked as a light came on Attila suddenly appeared with a headset from Donnie's lab as well as Gold lensed sunglasses that were his Dad's as well as a Dark orange sweater and jeans with a belt.
"Good morning, I am Professor Mystic. Welcome to my lecture!" he said pressing a button as the image of swirls of colors came on with stick figures waving their hands. The colors seemed to come from them. "Your Mystic Powers and you."
Leo was trapped. He relented and decided to humor Attila, until he could find an excuse to get away. Or figure out how to get Klunk off him. Hold on…
"Wait, Professor Mystic? I thought you were Doctor Delicate Touch." Leo noted with air quotes.
"Doctor Delicate Touch doesn't deal with the Mystic Arts." Attila explained before getting a very creepy face. "And is also a force of unquenchable endless rage." He added with the creepiest face he could muster and did so naturally Leo felt a slight chill. "Lesson one!" Attila said snapping back to normal almost as quickly. "You must clear your mind of all wants. Without a clear direction your powers have no guidance and go wild. You need to give them your needs."
"Aren't wants and needs the same thing?" Leo asked.
"Only rarely," Attila replied in a sagely tone. There was suddenly a ringing from Leo's pocket.
"Oh need get that!" Leo said as he quickly reached into his pocket shifting around enough to force Klunk to move. He picked it up.
"Chello!" Leo said practically out of the chair and ready to bolt away first chance he got as Attila hung his head a little.
"Is this Raph? Maybe Donatello?" asked a voice familiar to Attila.
"Krysta?!" Attila asked rushing over and practically jumping on Leo's shoulder, as he noticed sobbing in the background and some voice consoling it.
"Attila is that you?!" Krysta asked from the other side.
"Yeah it's me what's going on?" Attila asked.
"And how'd you get this number?" Leo asked suspiciously.
"I found it; you know how I'm now working part time and Senor Hueso's?" She asked.
"Yeah?" they both asked.
"He said he had to talk to someone about catering at a party. But that was last night he hasn't been back since he didn't even show up for work!"
"We're on it!" Leo said.
"Yeah!" Attila added rushing to wake up the others.

"Remind me again why you woke us up incredibly early for this?" Donnie asked, as they all arrived at a somewhat large building with a black Lotus on the top it had a strange aesthetic that in some ways reminded Attila of Tiger Claw's apartment when he was enslaved to Big Mama. It also reminded him a little of some of the stuff Splinter had. But he could see a bit of Yokai influence, but not of the Hidden City.
"It kind of looks like buildings in the Hidden City but different somehow," Attila hummed thoughtfully rubbing his chin.
"It must be if Hueso just waltzed in there. He said and they knew he was right." Donnie added.
"April!" Raph gasped suddenly noticing her as she seemed to be in a trance. She walked right by them. She didn't even acknowledge them. She simply walked right into the Café.
"Okay, if that's not a sign something's up I don't know what is!" Raph said as they followed her inside. They quickly lost sight of her however as they found the immediate entrance was a sitting room with gold carpet around and Fox masks adorning the walls inside of Black Lotuses. There was a phone and empty desk for orders.
As they headed inside there was some kind of music beginning to play. Attila suddenly felt drowsy. He could see raindrops falling to the beats of the music as stars glittered. "Why do I suddenly feel sleepy?"
"This is why you don't wake Raph up at eight in the mornin'" Raph huffed as he yawned. Attila noticed that the twins were also sleepy at the same….time….
"Wait is this…?!" Attila thought to himself as the stars and rain in his mind danced together.
"Come now dear spirits I'll take thee away…..into a land of hope and dreams."
Attila gasped realizing exactly what was happening and unleashed a burst of Mystic energy it encompassed him and Leo. But Raph and Donnie were already out of the Radius. "Oh no, Raph, Donnie, come back!" he cried as Leo tried use his portal sword to get them back but it didn't work. The Portal didn't even go anywhere near them. Soon their two brothers disappeared behind the door.
Attila held the spell as long as he could as the song finished repeating one of the lines. The minute the song ended and Attila's magic faded Leo immediately rushed to the door and swung his sword cutting it down as they looked inside. The area had gold cloth draped around the top held up with Black lotuses. There was a clear view of a small garden with a small river outside, with a small roof and various plants. Inside was white marble coffee bar, along with a menu on the top and display of various Yokai foods. The bar and tables were all facing off to the left corner towards a stage. They could see many Yokai and some humans. Including April, Hueso and their brothers asleep at tables as a person on stage tuned a strange guitar like instrument.
She had red fox ears tucked into hair she had braided in a bun with a chain of green round beads with one gold one above her forehead. Her face had gold markings on her nose, forehead and eyes which were the color of Amber. Her dress which Splinter called Kimonos was a pale gold with pads with fire on the side. Darker Gold flames rimmed the bottom the rim at the two ends was a deep red and sleeves had a white rim. Her sash was purple with a blue flame pattern. She also had three Red and white tipped tails.
"That's a Yokai." Attila hissed as she suddenly glanced right in their direction making eye contact with Attila. She flicked her gold painted claw like nails and instantly a wave of magic brushed over them. The two yelped and covered themselves but nothing happened.
"You two aren't Yokai….what are you?" she asked curiously.
"The ones, who will fill you with lacerations; if you don't return our friends and brothers and let these Yokai, go!" Leo declared confidentially. "This time for sure!" he hissed to himself.
"Oh is that your first big word used correctly?" The Woman mocked.
"NO!" Leo spat defensively. "We have mystic weapons! So surrender!" he added in a bite.
The woman chuckled before letting out a loud laugh. "How cute….I currently, have, a small army." She noted the marks on her head and hands glowing as everyone rose from their seats. Their eyes were now glowing the same color as her markings. They started marching towards Leo and Attila. Donnie and Raph immediately got their weapons out as April pulled out her bat. Then there was Hueso who was hopping with one leg over his shoulder as the captives groaned like zombies.
"Should we run?!" Attila asked fearfully.
"Yes now!" Leo shouted as they screamed taking off running down the other hall they saw upon entering. As they did they suddenly crashed into a blur of Black and looked up.
"Tiger Claw!" Attila said happily as he took off his helmet.
"I have never been more happy, to see you!" Leo sighed before thinking. "Have I ever been happy to see you?"
"Ignoring that comment; Are you guys here about missing Yokai and humans too?" Tiger Claw asked as Attila began babbling.
"Tiger Claw there's this scary Yokai and she's magic and she took over everyone minds and, and, and!" he said his voice squeaking a little as he talked faster and faster.
"Whoa slow down, what is-"Tiger Claw asked when suddenly a blur of green and purple tried to slam a rocket down on them. Tiger Claw grabbed Leo and Attila and jumped to the side. They looked over to see Donnie and Raph having already found them. "Oh…"
"There you all are, and we have a third intruder." Said the woman's voice as she appeared behind the two hypnotized Turtles she then appeared in a flare of green and gold fire.
"Who are you?" Tiger Claw growled.
"My Name is Kitsune," she replied. "I suppose you're wondering about why I've gathered these guests here."
"Yes actually," Tiger Claw growled as Attila hid behind him and Leo.
"I might as well tell you, since you won't tell anyone." Kitsune replied. "Five Hundred years ago, I had nine beautiful tails and all the power I needed to rule. But it was an ancestor of the Legendary Hamato Clan that stole away the other eight and defeated me. Since then I've been trying to rebuild my power. However, in that time I've only able to recover two." She growled at them before smirking. "The little reminds of her in some ways." She noted looking right at Attila who shrunk further behind Tiger Claw who growled at her putting out a hand in front of Attila. As Leo's eyes narrowed he pulled out his sword. "That's where my costumers come in." she replied. "I drain their power and their life force and hopefully I get a tail! I'm close to four by the way." She snapped her fingers as Raph and Donnie got into fighting stances.
"I have a good feeling about these two." She sneered. "You want to stop me go ahead! It's easy you need only to take their lives!"
Attila felt his blood freeze as Leo growled pulling out his sword. His teeth were gritted now. Attila couldn't really focus. The idea of killing his brothers filled him with even more dread than usual. He felt himself going in his shell. "Don't go in your shell, don't go in your shell!" he told himself desperately.
"That's not happening!" Tiger Claw shouted as he rushed forward and grappled with Raph as Leo began fighting Donnie. Donnie was incredibly fast and skilled with his tech-Bo. He spun it rapidly as the metal fist extension came out Leo pulled his head into his shell to dodge it as he then brought up his sword to block it from coming back.
"Donnie! It's me Leo, she's controlling you! You've gotta fight it!" he pleaded with his twin.
"They can't hear you. Their consciousness is sound asleep in their best dreams." Kitsune sneered as she held a hand forward. A Portal appeared behind them. Attila was frozen he couldn't move he was trembling as Leo was sent flying back into him and they landed near the portal. And soon after Tiger Claw had been power punched by Raph and all three had been sent flying into the portal with a scream.

When the portal opened again Leo felt a bunch of gravel and dirt get smeared into his face and mouth... He groaned spitting out the small rocks. "Oh and here I thought caves were made of sponge silly me." He joked sardonically.
"Where are we?" Attila timidly asked.
"We're in a cave system under the Surface Pillar." Tiger Claw explained. "She sent us pretty far away."
"Yeah well we'll see how long that lasts when I close the gap!" Leo stated swinging his sword and getting nothing. He growled swinging it rapidly.
"The metal here blocks mystic powers!" Attila noted seeing some of the white silver veins of metal on the walls.
"Relax once we get further out of the cave we'll be able to try the Portal again." Tiger Claw assured. He began walking as Attila hugged Leo. He could feel the smaller turtle trembling against him.
"It's okay," Leo whispered rubbing his shell a little bit as the two began to follow. They kept close to Tiger Claw as they watched the metal in the wall begin to get less and less. Leo could see a bit of light at the end of the Tunnel and smelt some air flow. At least they weren't trapped.
"Hikaru kumo tsukinukem, Fly away, Karadajuu ni hirogaru panorama. Kao wo Kerareta chikyuu ga-"
"What are you singing!?" Leo asked incredulously.
"Oh right, I forgot you don't know Japanese. Also way before your time," Tiger Claw muttered.
"My Brothers are about to be sacrificed to some weird Tea serving Fox lady and you're singing a song?!" Leo snapped accusingly.
"I need the noise okay!? And you don't get to judge me Mr. Humor to cope!" Tiger Claw snapped back as Attila looked out into where they were going. He recognized, the area and screamed loudly pulling away from Leo and running as far in the opposite direction as he could.
"Attila what's wrong?" Leo shouted running after him Attila saw there was a dead end where they were and began clawing desperately at the walls hyperventilating. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Leo said grabbing him as he struggled trying to move away and get away before curling up and muttering to himself.
"I'm sorry, Draxum please help me! I'm sorry, I'll be good." Attila muttered as Leo stared in shock Tiger Claw who was nearby growled at this.
"Atti," Leo suddenly said. "Go into your shell."
"But I-"Attila began when Leo gripped his shoulders gently.
"I'm going to carry you. You don't have to look at what's out there; just focus on saving Donnie and Raph while in there okay?" Leo asked.
Attila nodded and went into his shell it closed tightly as Leo picked it up and they returned to the entrance. Leo saw a large lake and strange glowing plants and mushrooms with a land bridge.
"Don't eat the Mushrooms." Tiger Claw muttered.
"I don't want to touch them!" Leo muttered looking at how gross bubbly and pussy they looked. He yelped when he heard something move and looked around. He steadied his own breathing and rubbed Attila's shell holding it closer. "Blah, blah, blah, blah blah, blah, blah, blah, blah-blah-blah." He muttered trying to sing the tune of the song Tiger Claw was singing. Tiger Claw rolled his eyes at this. Meanwhile Leo couldn't help but look back he saw the cave and right above it was a tall pillar with black crystals jutting out of it. Was there a shrine at the top?
He jumped when there was a loud roar Tiger Claw heard it too as the area got Dark. Attila began making sounds like he was trying to prevent himself from sobbing or crying. "What was that!?" Leo asked worriedly rubbing Attila's shell rapidly.
"We have to move…." Tiger Claw muttered.
"Wha?" Leo asked as Tiger Claw gripped his shoulders and began pushing him forward.
"WE HAVE TO MOVE NOW!" he shouted as they did Leo looked back to see something immediately jump out at where they were standing and chomp down hard on it. The pupil looked over when it found no meat in its mouth.
"IT LOOKED AT ME!" Leo screeched.
"Why did you look back!?" Tiger Claw shouted as they were now being chased by a large Grey serpent Yokai with large fangs one of which was broken and had a scared eye. It managed to jump on the land bridge and rush after them as they ran Leo trying to run as fast as he could Attila was now screaming in terror inside his shell. As Leo suddenly got the image of the scar he saw on his brother's shoulder in his head.
"Draxum What the Fu-AHHHHHHH!" he shouted as it tried to bite down on the two turtles Leo flying in the air from the force when he jumped forward. It tried to whip its head up but Tiger Claw had picked up a large rock and banged it on the head of the Serpent. It screamed as it shook its head in pain.
"Don't give up we're almost there!" Tiger Claw shouted as they rushed into a large stone clearing.
"Over there!" Tiger Claw shouted pointing to a small alcove. Leo rushed over and hid inside as Tiger Claw suddenly pulled his sword off his back. "Portal out of here!"
"Wait I can't do it without my sword!" Leo shouted but Tiger Claw didn't listen he rushed out and swung it disappearing into a Portal then he was gone. The serpent looked around for him as Leo hid deeper in the alcove. Suddenly the serpent lurched and began coughing as something in its neck bulged and then instantly the tip of his sword pushed out of its neck as Tiger Claw swung it decapitating the monster as the head flew off a few feet away from the body that fell with a thud as he landed.
"Whew….I can't believe that worked." Tiger Claw panted. Attila came out of his shell and stared at the creature before looking away.
"Ewwww you got murderous snake guts on my sword!" Leo whined.
"Did you want to live?" Tiger Claw asked.
"Yes?"
"Then deal." Tiger Claw replied. "Also why didn't you make a portal out of here?"
"Funny thing, I cannot do that without my sword!" Leo said with a slight glare. Tiger Claw cursed under his breath.
"I'm sorry," he said standing up. "I wasn't thinking clearly." He turned to Attila. "Attila have you seen that thing before?"
Attila looked away but gripped his shoulder something they both noticed. "Don't look at me like that." He said to them. They glanced sadly at each other.
"Attila…" Leo muttered.
"There are more important things here than me! We have to save everyone from Kitsune!" He protested. They nodded as Tiger Claw opened a portal. Once back in the restaurant, Leo specifically grabbed some gold cloth from off the wall and used it to wipe off the blade of his sword; partly to get it clean and partly out of spite.
"So what made you think I could make portals without the sword that magically makes portals?" Leo huffed.
"Like I said I wasn't thinking clearly. I should've seen that coming considering you're not good using it. Anyway those kinds of Mystic Weapons are more like training wheels. They bring yours up to the surface and copy it while being a conduit for you. You train with them getting a feel for them then you'd start to wean of them." Tiger Claw explained.
"It's true," Attila muttered back to Leo who huffed at this. "But in theory you could use your powers with any weapon!"
"Never mind that, what's going on in there?" Leo asked pointing to the main door.
"The ritual!" Attila and Tiger Claw said together. The Latter opened the door and rushed in at Kitsune who held him back with magic with a smirk before throwing him into the wall.
"Mystic Power time!" Leo said swinging his sword to try and drop something on Kitsune's head instead however the plant he picked up landed on Tiger Claw's stomach.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" He shrieked Leo hid his sword behind his back.
"Leo, remember what I told you this morning!" Attila shouted.
"Right, uhhh something about everlasting bread loaf?" he asked sweating a little.
"YOU PUSHED IT OUT OF YOUR HEAD!?" Attila shrieked incredulously as he suddenly kept going in spite of himself. "I can't stop?! Why can't I stop!? Leo I've been trying to help you! And you keep blowing me off! And I don't even understand why!"
"BECAUSE I NEED TO DO THIS ON MY OWN; I WANT TO CONTRIBUTE AND BE MORE THAN A WORTHLESS FACE MAN, MEDIC AND LITTLE BROTHER OKAY!?" Leo shouted back with a slight glare. Attila flinched a little bit in shock, his eyes widening. Not because Leo yelled. But because of the word he said worthless….a word he had heard numerous times in his own head and some by Draxum.
Leo groaned rubbing the back of his head. "I want to do more! I'm nothing without you guys! I need to prove I have a place on the team! That I can take care of myself and contribute."
"Medics and face men do contribute Leo." Attila reasoned.
"No one cares about passive contributions! On top of that I need to prove to Raph and Donnie that I can handle myself! I was the youngest before you came along! So most of my life was, them thinking I can't! PLEASE, STOP MAKING ME TALK ABOUT MY FEELINGS!" he finished begging hands clasped together to do so.
"Leo, you're not worthless!" Attila assured. "What you do now isn't worthless! If nothing else we like you for you! Even Donnie and Raph no matter how much you annoy them! Something I can't say about Draxum!" He admitted before hanging his head and taking a breath. "I realizing…..Draxum wants a weapon. He doesn't want me…..he doesn't even like me!"
Leo looked at his younger brother sympathetically. "I like you, my brothers like you."
"I know," Attila muttered sadly.
"Okay finally listening what do I do about this?" Leo asked pointing to his sword. Attila smiled and nodded.
"Don't think about what you want. Feel, what you needyour powers to do!" Leo nodded and glanced into the room he could see Kitsune in some kind of magic circle that was lighting up on stage. He focused his mind and his heart and with a swing a portal appeared splitting the stage in two as part of it was absorbed into the portal. Kitsune yelped flying up to avoid being pulled in. They could hear wood falling out in the backyard as Attila grinned wildly.
Leo then kicked open the door his sword on his shoulder confidentially as he pointed to the Gitsune with Attila taking a pose beside him. "You've been Portal chopped!"
"No ritual for you baby!" Attila added boldly imitating Leo.
"Took you boys long enough," Tiger Claw said happily. "Well done Leo!" He added grinning.
Kitsune growled as she focused on them she charged up magic in her hands and threw fire balls at them Attila was quick to bat them away, before swinging across the ceiling to land a drop kick but she caught Attila and threw him who landed on his feet and threw a chair with his legs while he was righting himself.
"You think that'll stop me!" she snarled smashing the chair with a power blast as suddenly through a portal came Tiger Claw who punched her in the gut. She flinched and flipped back as she got into a battle position her hands glowing in aura as she and Tiger Claw began clashing.
She used a form of Ninjutsu and swung her leg at Tiger Claw who caught it and spun her around before slamming her in the chest with an open palm move. She used her tails to rebalance and spun around rapidly at him he was forced to jump away as Attila used his Kurosai to grab one and swing her into the wall.
Out of a portal came a bunch of chairs that fell on her with a yelp. She growled getting up. "Enough of this!" she snarled her tails lighting up brightly as she began to channel a bunch of magic. All three were hit and sent flying out into the backyard where Leo could see Mystic plants glowing.
Rocks began rising at them they yelped and hid when she began to launch the rocks at them. Leo however suddenly got an idea. "Atti let's team up!"
"Huh?" Attila asked.
"We've gotta get her off her game." Leo replied.
"I get what you mean, if she can't concentrate then she can't fire magic." Tiger Claw replied.
"Okay here's the plan!" Leo said as they huddled together.
Kitsune kept blasting for a while before stopping. "Had enough or are you thirsty for more!?"
"Funny you should ask!" Tiger Claw shouted jumping up and dodging several rocks thrown at him before swiping at the Fox lady who faded out of the way before landing a kick in his chin and sending him upwards a bit before warping behind him and landing a round house on his face making him skid back as he dodged another blast landing kick on her face before landing another thrust on her chest pushing her back.
"Was that supposed to work?" Kitsune asked with a slight sneer.
"Actually yes," Tiger Claw replied grinning as out of Portal came Attila with his Kurosai in his mouth. He retracted into his shell and began spin rapidly making a glowing fire Buzz saw that sawed off the tips of Kitsune's tails when she just barely dodged him. He spun back around as she dodged trying to blast at him but he was too quick and sawing down any of the magic blasts she was using.
"What are you!?" she yelped jumping away. He circled back around and into a Turtle where he came out and put away the Kurosai and smirked at her with a wink. Kitsune suddenly found herself surrounded by a punch of Leo's portals.
She blasted one but the spell merely came out and hit her in the back. She gasped as Attila retracted into his shell and fell into one spinning engulfed in red flames again.
"Meteor Bash Jutsu!" Leo and Attila shouted together.
"Oh man…..it's even got a cool name…" Kitsune muttered defeated her ears drooping as she was rapidly hit over and over by Attila before being sent into the air high where Leo came out of a portal with a smirk as he twisted his leg with a swing in the air.
"And-a BASH!" he shouted landing his foot in her stomach and sending her right into the ground with a loud crash some dust being pulled up. Leo landed on his feet expertly as she groaned lying on the ground with swirls in her eyes. "Hot Soup!" he shouted victoriously
Attila flew down and Leo caught him with a spin as the two laughed and hugged. Tiger Claw couldn't help smiling as there was suddenly a loud commotion inside.
"Leo, Attila!" Donnie shouted as he Hueso, April and Raph rushed outside. "What is happening?" he asked confused.
"We found Hueso but we can't remember how!" Raph said.
"I don't even remember coming here." April shrugged calmly.
"We freed you from a mind control spell you're welcome!" Leo said confidentially.
"How's Hueso?" Attila asked from Leo's arms.
"He has pounding headache and would like to go home." The Bone man replied rubbing his head.
"Oh right the Dream thing, that reminds me! Donnie you looked pretty happy what were you dreaming about?"
Donnie thought for a moment he imagined an empire with people shouting over and over. "All hail Donnatello! All Hail Donnatello! All Hail Donatello!" They shouted in a futuristic empire as he in a purple cloak and futuristic armor laughed maniacally.
"Ehhh don't worry about it." Donnie replied.

"I'm so glad you found him," Krysta said as she helped Hueso into the car his wife had driven over. It went back to the Run of the Mill Pizza.
"Yup my Portals which I can control by the way, Atti's mystic warrior training and Tiger Claw's uhh Tigerness and we totally beat the wicked witch that was running the evil Tea shop!"
"What Tea Shop?" Krysta asked with an arched eyebrow.
"The one behind me of course!" Leo said gesturing to behind him as Attila turned.
"It's gone!" he yelped.
"WHAT?!" Leo asked searching the area getting down on all fours and patting at the ground where the Café had stood. "No, no, no, no no!"
"No damage from the fight no plants no anything…." Donnie muttered.
"She took the whole thing away…" Attila muttered.
"But we didn't even notice…"Raph muttered fearfully as they were all unaware of Kitsune looking down on them with a glare.
"We'll meet again little Kames." She muttered darkly.
