The Mutant Menace

Krysta had only been delivering Pizza's when suddenly she saw a huge crowd of people fleeing from some rundown apartment complex. All screaming about Moncrief being crazy she then saw the Crushersaurus fly out of the window. She was just in shock as she suddenly saw Attila and his brother's leave. She hid and watched.

"He had a panic attack when!?" Leo asked concerned.

"While you two were off being star struck and handling the laser gun!" Raph growled.

"Guys, it's okay!" Attila begged. "Let's just go home, I'll sleep it off and be fine!"

Attila still wasn't fine but at least he wasn't ready to cry at the drop of hat like he had been in his panic attack. He actually had a nightmare about Moncrief, but said nothing about it. His brothers kept trying to grill him about it. He had gone up here to escape them. Klunk sat worriedly on his shoulder. He was sitting near the entrance of the sewer getting some fresher air. He thought about going higher to the place he first saw the sunrise.

Klunk suddenly looked over and growled. Attila turned to see Krysta. "Attila you okay?" she asked.

"Krysta?" Attila asked as Klunk calmed down.

"Hi!" She said as the Fox Girl knelt down.

"Hey little one," Krysta said smiling as she scratched Klunk's chin happily.

"Girl," Klunk replied happily as she rubbed up against Krysta. She jumped up on her shoulder as she sat down beside Attila.

"You doing okay?" she asked.

"Uhh, yeah!" Attila said nervously. "There's nothing that happened last night that wouldn't make me fine!"

"I didn't say anything about last night…" Krysta noted.

"Uhhm!" Attila muttered nervously trying to think quickly then he got an idea. "Hey Krysta, how'd you like the meet the real Lou Jitsu?"

"As great as that would be. He died years ago." Krysta replied.

"Nope, I'll explain everything." Attila assured as she followed him into the sewers.

"Where is he!?" Raph asked looking around.

"Honestly, I think we scared him off." Leo replied leaning against the wall. "You kind of badgered him."

"And for good reason he's been acting weird since we met up with Captain Coo-Koo!" Raph snapped.

"Well, this might be a good time to bring up that-"Donnie began.

"No, we are not stealing Uranium for a Time Machine!" Raph huffed.

"Awwww, Why not!?" Donnie whined.

"You'll take more than what's necessary for one thing so you can have extra later. Then use the time machine to give your past-self Lotto numbers for another." Raph replied.

"So?" Donnie asked.

"So, not a good idea; besides you have no idea how that would affect the Future. You could make it so we're still stuck in one of JJ's prisons or something." Leo pointed out. "Not to mention the running theory right now is Multiverse theory. So Back to the Future is a bunch of-"

Donnie huffed loudly cutting his twin off. "Fiinneeee!" he relented his head falling back as Krysta suddenly went right past.

"Hey guys!" she said heading to the TV Room. She got nervous tapping her feet a little as she moved forward.

"Was that Krysta?" Donnie asked.

"How'd she get here?" Raph asked.

"I think, I know," Leo sighed.

"Uhh Mr. Lou Jitsu sir?" she asked tapping Splinter lightly as the three brothers watched. Splinter Yelped. "WHA WHO Is that how do, you know that name!?"

"Uhh your son! I just have a few questions, if you don't mind me asking….that is…." She said rubbing the back of her head her ears flattening against her head.

Splinter smiled rubbing his chin liking the idea. "Ohh what would you like to know." Krysta grinned her tail wagging slightly as Leo looked at his brothers.

"Yeah this reeks of distraction attack," the Slider huffed.

"So where do we start looking?" Raph asked.

Attila was currently hiding in his room. Under many blankets Klunk turned into a Blanket to hide as well. He was even in his shell, going as far as to shut it. He had tried to lay as flat as possible. He suddenly felt a weight sit by beside him. He got nervous.

"You are the leaf, just an ordinary leaf. You're not here just lie still and he'll go away."

"So Attila, you invited Krysta to distract us and Dad too possibly care to tell us why Hermano?" Leo asked.

"I didn't do that." Attila muttered.

"Then why is she talking to Dad?" Leo asked. Attila didn't answer instead Klunk just flew on his head and wrapped him up trying to pull him out of the room.

"Out, Out, Out!" she shouted as Leo fought with her.

"Let me go!" he yelped as Raph and Donnie pulled her off. She growled turning back into cat and scowled at them.

"Attila we just want to help." Raph said as Donnie held her.

"I'm fine!" Attila whined. It was then all the Phones started going off at once. Leo pulled his out as Donnie looked at the one on his wrist. The boys overpowered by their curiosity watched. A Strange orange symbol appeared against the black screen. It was of that of some cartoon bear with hair before it showed Footage of April, Donnie, Raph and Leo standing over a crushed robot in a destroyed building.

"Birthdays ruined!" Said a voice as Attila finally came out from his hiding place.

It then showed the three older turtles standing near a bunch of destroyed Robot parts "Parks destroyed!" Then all of them together in a weird white ball with some destroyed statues. "Museums vandalized! Tonight on Cyber Sleuth:" The voice said showing its logo again with the word. It then showed someone in a bear mask similar to the one that was used for the Logo. "Beware the Mutant Menace!" He shouted flashing the light of his flash light.

"I can't believe we're getting blamed for this! Virtually everything in there was someone else's fault!" Leo whined. "I think…."

"It's worse than that! Yokai and Mutants will get exposed! Captured, tortured, and experimented on! And if Draxum's finds out-"

"He's not gonna find out! Besides, you're not even in the footage. And he already hates us. There's no way he can blame you for this!" Leo assured.

Attila got quiet and hung his head looking away. He wouldn't be blamed for the events. But he would've been blamed for taking so long to wipe out humanity or even not capturing his brothers to prevent the events sooner. Leo was stunned. He actually would find a way.

"So unfair!" Donnie added with a huff. "But the bad publicity is good for my emotionally unavailable bad boy image, Ye'llo," Donnie added with an apathetic flip of his head.

"Guys!" Raph said with a large smile on his face. "I think this might be an opportunity to turn a dark cloud into a silver lining." He then pulled out a small book with big colorful words on it. It had a picture of a mutant wolf on it in a cartoony art style. It had a gold spine. "You fellahs ever read this fine piece of literature?" he asked.

"Nope," Leo replied.

"I've only ever read texts books." Attila noted.

"Horrible Wolfie: The Harmless Wolf pup?" Donnie asked reading it. He didn't look impressed.

"Yes!" Raph proudly replied. "It's the touching story about a kid wolf that shows up at a town full of humans who all want to run him through with a pitch fork!"

"That's supposed to be touching!?" Attila asked in shock.

"But Wolfie didn't run away! He performed loving deeds for the Hateful townsfolk. And they welcomed him into their hearts."

Attila burst into a wide smile his eyes sparkling. "If Humans and Yokai could learn to live together it would neutralize the prophecy and no one would have to get hurt!" "Let's do it!" he said excitedly.

"Yes that's what we'll do! We'll get in our giant tank and smash people in the face with good deeds!"

"And Smash into Hearts!" Klunk added.

"Yes you get it!" Raph told her happily.

"Oh this is going to look so great on my college application!" Donnie said his eyes sparkling.

They took off "Any Votes for staying home during the Anti-Mutant panic?" Leo asked as he looked around all he saw was Krysta running out screaming about being late for work. His brothers were already in the garage. "No okay? LEGGO!" he shouted flipping towards the Garage.

Attila had made up some calling cards. "Every time we do a good deed we'll leave behind one of these!" Attila said showing the card he was quite proud of how it came out. "The Mutant Menace: Winky face! A Misnomer just like, Doctor Delicate Touch!"

As the Turtle's arrived at their first stop Tiger Claw watched as Donnie jumped out and examined a leaking Fire Hydrant he saw Donnie examine it before blowing out a blow torch. "Wait don't!" he shouted but it was too late Donnie had melted it to a useless pile of melted metal.

Tiger Claw quickly took a picture and sent it in to the city Hall website. "So hope there are no fires in the next few weeks. What are those kids up too?" he asked immediately racing after the Turtle Tank. He then saw Leo let a cat inside. That seemed fine. Then he saw Raph and Donnie start messing with a smashed up side walk. Immediately Tiger Claw grabbed a wet cement sign and put it up just as they finished.

"Hey Tiger Claw we're doing Good deeds want to help?" Attila asked innocently.

"Good deeds?" Tiger Claw asked.

"Yup! Some Cyber Sleuth has gotten people wound up about us! So we're doing loving deeds for the people of New York and allowing them to open their hearts too us!" Raph happily revealed.

"Uh huh, what you should be doing is laying low during the Anti-Mutant Panic." Tiger Claw replied.

"Thank you!" Leo huffed.

"No way! We gotta show the People of New York we're good Doers!" Raph protested as an Oozequito had bit a squirrel it suddenly mutated into a squirrel-Gorilla Hybrid and grabbed the first thing it could: Dale's face. He screamed as it began to shake him around and he screamed for help.

"OHMIGOSH!" Attila shouted as they rushed over and began fighting the giant squirrel but it kept batting them away. Attila used his chain to grab the arm holding Dale. "Someone get him!"

The Squirrel-Gorilla went to punch Attila but Tiger Claw grabbed the arm and held it as Donnie pulled Dale free however the large Mutant swung around sending the two towards the wet Side walk Donnie landed near it. Dale however landed face first.

"MMHEHFFFFF!" he bubbled as Attila screamed and rushed over trying to pull him out Klunk attempted to as well. The former unaware his powers were going out of control and heating the Cement. Tiger Claw gasped.

"Attila stop!" he shouted the Box Turtle gasped and saw what he had done. The Cement was dry with him, Klunk and Dale in it. And Dale couldn't breathe. Attila struggled wildly trying not to let his powers as Donnie quickly smashed them out. The Monster roared at them as Attila began to curl up and Dale ran away screaming.

"MONIA BOMB!" Donnie shouted throwing it in its face causing the monster to roar in pain as it failed at its nose. It ran crashing into a car setting it on fire as Leo sent the beast through a portal.

"RUN!" Tiger Claw shouted as they suddenly heard sirens. Attila had retreated into his shell.

"Atti run!" Klunk said to him trying to get him to come out.

"Just go!" Attila whimpered. He was expected to be left behind like before. However he felt someone pick him up and rush into the Turtle Tank holding onto him in their lap as the Tank quickly took off.

"Well, so much for helping people." The one carrying him revealed to be Leo said right above him.

"Bad…." Klunk added sitting across from the Box Turtle's shell.

"Look, let's just go home wait for things to calm down and we'll try again tomorrow." Raph assured. "We do this right and New York will have nothing but love in their hearts for us!"

Twenty Four Hours Later….

"There is nothing but loathing in the Hearts of New York's Citizens as a Heartless group of Malicious Pranksters known as the Mutant Menace unleash their Reign of Terror across the city. Their Evil calling cards having an evil winky face!"

"Reign of Terror?" Attila gasped he called up Tiger Claw. "Are you okay?" Attila asked.

"I'm fine….what did your brother's do?" Tiger Claw asked.

"Ummmm," Attila muttered as he turned on the speaker.

"We go live to unpaid but very reliable source E-reporter Cyber Sleuth!" She said with a smile.

"A Fire Rages!" Said a voice showing Firemen trying to use the Hydrant Donnie had destroyed. "A Canary flees for its life!" It added showing a woman saving her canary from a cat as Leo muttered oof. "Innocents having been terrorized by Mutant Squirrels and trapped in concrete!" footage of Dale feeling with bits of concrete on his shirt was shown. "What do these tragedies have in common: The Evil Force: The Mutant Menace. And our so called Hero the Night Watcher may even be one of them!"

"What!?" Raph gasped. "We called ourselves the Mutant Menace as a Joke! That's why we used the Just kidding Quotes and the just kidding Winking face!" Raph snapped as he

"Raph you know I love you! But people don't focus on punctuation when they're stuck in concrete after being terrorized by Mutant squirrels." Leo explained putting his arm over his shoulders and patting his plastron.

"You know," Attila muttered. "That voice sounds familiar."

"No doubt you're wondering who I am….I am none other than Boy Genius: BAXTER STOCKBOI!"

"BAXTER STOCKBOI!?" Attila screamed in shock.

"Wait you know this little twerp?" Leo asked with an arched eyebrow.

"He tried to expose Tiger Claw and exploit him for money! And he almost got footage of me!" Attila explained as he called Tiger Claw.

"Yup, and then you all proceeded to screw up! You should've done what I said and gone home!" Tiger Claw growled.

Attila hung his head sadly as Klunk nuzzled him. "And never fear New York! I have been tracking both of them from the Stock and Shop Blimp!" Baxter said turning to the front of this Blimp and changing the cameras to show where the Tank and Tiger Claw's Motor Cycle was. He had rushed to put his helmet back on. Fortunately he didn't have footage of his face.

"Giant Turtle!" Klunk said pointing at the screen.

"Oh yeah!" Attila added.

"Yeah, everyone was saying go stealth, go stealth but come on look at us we're all kinds of bad!" Donnie said looking at the screen at them.

"Focus!" Tiger Claw shouted from the other end of the line.

"You too can track the Mutant Menace! By accessing the Baxter Stockboi Live Stream! Available for a reasonable fee," Baxter added.

"We can't let anyone see us we need to get home Mui Rapido!" Leo said nervously.

"Good stay low! Get out of there quick!" Tiger Claw relayed before hanging up as Raph pushed Leo out of the way and punched the gas in the tank causing it to take off quickly.

"What the!?" Raph gasped stopping to see a large crowd of people with Pitch Forks and picket signs all shouting and in a frenzy.

"It's them the Mutant Menace!" cried one man.

"GET EM!" shouted another. Attila gasped he turned running and climbing up the latter despite his brother's protests.

"Attila don't!" Raph said grabbing him Attila thrashed and elbowed him in the eye as he climbed out and jumped off the tank running. He ran and ran as fast as he could feel something trip him when he started running on grass and crashed into a bush face first. He curled up when he realized what had tripped him. He clamped his mouth shut.

"I know you're out there, Attila. How stupid are you? To believe that humans and Yokai could ever Co-exist. Your insipid childish fantasies have put all of Yokai kind in danger. Why do you insist on defying the most simple of instructions, is there some twisted joy in it for you?"

"Ya know I could ask you the same thing," Said Tiger Claw's voice as he heard the Tiger Step in. "I know the mutant Squirrel was you. If you hadn't done that, the worst that would've happened was the Hydrant. For someone who's supposedly obsessed with preventing the Human threat. That was extremely counter-productive."

"A lesson needed to be taught." Draxum replied simply. "Dreams and Fantasy are for insipid fools, and Attila's one chance to redeem himself is to give up his and accept his purpose." He said leaving.

When it was safe Attila pulled himself up. "He's right, it was stupid to try," Attila muttered hoarsely his voice devoid of hope. "The Humans were so angry it scared me and…..They're never gonna accept me or my brothers they hate us if we get exposed then..."

"That won't happen. I think I have an idea how to clean this up actually." Tiger Claw replied half thoughtfully.

"Really?!" Attila asked brightening a little.

"Where is he? I know I saw him run in this direction!" Leo said worriedly. "I knew being nice to people would cause problems!" he said holding himself a little.

"Has no one ever read Horrible Wolfie?" Raph asked keeping his eyes peeled for Attila as Donnie typed on his dash board. Leo silently glared at Raph for the comment.

"At this point I think you're the only one who has." Donnie replied when suddenly the Tank lurched and began picking up speed quickly. It knocked the Groceries of a by-passer out of his hands as he dodged. "Oh Raphala: Would you mean easing up on the gas dear friend!?" Donnie snapped.

"I can't the throttles stuck or something!" Raph shrugged worriedly. "He tried stopping the Tank nothing. "No Tank no steering, what's going on!?"

"Well at least we know my engineering's fine, but something has taken control of the tank." He said running a quick diagnostics on it.

"Runaway Tank!" Klunk cried as the phone rang. Leo picked it up.

"Guys in front of you!" Attila screamed as they turned to see Times Square full of Cars.

"I'm trying the Taxi Rockets!" Raph said as he hit the buttons instantly a blue flame sprouted to life at the back of the yellow car as the increased speed made them turn more sharply away from the cars. Attila and Tiger Claw were hot on their tail chasing after the tank. As Raph flipped the tank onto the building for a short spurt of wall climbing Attila and Tiger Claw could see strange little Robots with large heads and jagged teeth begin sealing the doors.

"They're trapped inside! Is this all Baxter?!" Attila asked worriedly.

"The Genius thing isn't just gusto he's actually pretty gifted in Robotics." Tiger Claw explained as he dodged several bystanders. "It seems like we're headed to City Hall but why- Crap-baskets!"

"He's gonna expose my brothers to the whole city!" Attila gasped.

"Yeah, and possibly the Government with it!" Tiger Claw hissed as he floored the gas as much as he could. It was then the Brat's face appeared all over every screen in New York.

"NEW YORK! I WILL DELIVER THE MUTANT MENACE, TO THE STEPS OF CITY HALL IN FIVE MINUTES! SUBSCRIBE AND DONATE TO MY LIVE STREAM OR SEE IT IN PERSON IF YOU DARE!" Baxter boastfully declared captivating the people of New York like a skilled Master of Ceremonies.

"Attila do you still have my cloaking broach?" Tiger Claw asked.

"It broke," Attila admitted tearfully.

"Do you at least have it?" Tiger Claw asked.

"Yeah?" he replied.

"Okay listen hold it in your hands," Tiger Claw replied as Attila took it out and held it tightly.

"Okay now what?" Attila asked.

"Focus on fixing it. Think it about how it used to be and Feel how it worked." Tiger Claw said as Attila nodded and began concentrating.

"OH NO LOOK OUT EXCETRA!" Donnie shouted as Leo swung his sword making a portal that took them around the bystanders they almost hit.

"We're gonna get someone killed! Not that the brat cares! He's going to expose us all to New York and Congress just for money!"

"Why we don't have money and we get along just fine." Raph added.

"Oh yeah, yeah we're as poor as dirt." Donnie shadily replied counting the Money he got from his copper wiring heist. Something caught his eye at that moment. "Oh Newton's apple how could I forget the Floor Hatch!?" he asked himself typing in the code to open it. "I'll just shimmy out and see-"

Raph pulled him away. "No time for that I'll go!" he said with a swan dive but was immediately stuck. He only managed to right himself and face forward to see a large pot hole and several pylons coming towards them. "AHH Donnie make this hatch bigger!" he cried as he began to get dragged through the road work yelping.

"I made it to your specs but that was when you were in your doing sit ups everyday phase…" Donnie muttered low-key implying weight gain.

He couldn't believe it! He had fixed it. Attila passed it to Tiger Claw who had clipped it on in one of his pockets, "now we just have to stop the tank!" Tiger Claw muttered.

"Three minutes to the reveal of the Mutant Menace!" Baxter's voice called as the large impressive building with polished white stone came into view and with it the angry mob.

Attila tried not to notice. The Blimp was suddenly shot with a barrage of Bowling balls and sinking down fast. The screen crackled and spark as a plume of smoke came out of it as a high pitched hissing noise came from the strange balloon like vehicle. However Baxter had escaped parachuting out of the way and floated towards the other humans.

"Step right up folks! Any minute now, you can behold the Mutant Menace!" he declared expertly unbuckling his parachute and standing on top of the steps of the building, "the Dangerous spectacle that's sweeping New York! One Dollar per person cash preferred!" he said to them as people began forking out money.

Attila looked up noticing the traffic lights. "I have an idea!" he shouted immediately jumping off of Tiger Claw using his powers to propel himself.

"Hey!" Tiger Claw shouted watching as Attila flew as high as he could.

"HOT SOOOOUUUUUPPP!" he shouted hoping it would give him strength like it seemed to do for Lou Jitsu. He saw himself right over the Tank and pulled out his Kurosai whipping it forward he embedded it into the back of the tank and then wrapping the chain a few times around the traffic light he had landed on and pulled as hard as he could.

"There they are they're right behind you! TURN AROUND!" Baxter shouted as he had managed to turn the Tank away from City Hall."

"Yay!" Attila cheered. However he suddenly felt himself go spinning around the traffic light with a scream as he was now flying after it just as people turned. Then they suddenly saw the Night Watcher's Motor Cycle fly over them landing behind Baxter who was turning a shade of brownish red.

"It's the Night Watcher!" they all gasped in fear as the Cosplay Wizard jumped in front of him.

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" he shouted. The Night Watcher merely picked him up and moved him out of the way.

"Listen up! This whole thing was a Hoax! And I was investigating this little brat's stunt. That's why he said I was one of his so called Mutants. The Squirrel, the Tank you've been watching all of it, were just robots he made. I've even got one in case the cops want to run an analysis." He said lifting up one of Baxter's Micro-bots that was limp in his hand. All the people gasped and muttered amongst themselves.

"Don't listen to him! He's the Legendary Tiger Man! A Mutant just like the Menace!" Baxter shouted pointing an accusatory finger at him.

"You sure about that?" Night Watcher asked pulling off his helmet to reveal a young man with hair down to his shoulder's he had blue eyes and light tanned skin. His eyes were the shape of Asian eyes. He had a square chin.

"My Name is Takeshi Kimigou: An Asian American. The costume was inspired by the Jupiter Jim villain Chrome Dome. Maybe you've heard of him?" There were murmurs of acknowledgement from the crowd.

"Baxter Stockboi you are under arrest for falsifying evidence, criminal negligence, unlicensed advertising, causing mass hysteria and driving a blimp without a learner's permit. Take him to tech wiz juvie with those Purple Dragon Kids."

"Mark my words this isn't the last you've heard of BAXTER STOCKBOI!" he screamed to the Heavens.

"And just like I am never having kids," Night Watcher grumbled placing his helmet back on and walking his bike down the stairs.

The Tank had flown up a ramp. It then flew all the way out into the nearby River with the large bridge: So the Hudson River right? He had landed on top of the tank not far from the front. The Micro-Bots controlling them had short circuited off freeing the tank. Attila slid down smiling brightly at Leo and Klunk who smiled back.

"Atti!" Klunk cheered.

"Nice one Atti!" Leo congratulated. "You see that Raph?" he asked smugly to Raph who Attila could see was stuck in the floor hatch. Then Attila suddenly felt the Tank go lower him with it.

"RAPH!" Attila cried.

"Uhh Donnie we're sinking and Raph is currently swallowing the Hudson River." Leo called out.

"Do you really think, I would've built this tank without an amphibious mode?" Donnie asked as he pressed a button. Streamers flew out with some confetti. "Oh that is the wrong button here we go!" he said pressing the button and instantly Attila felt the Tank rise and straighten itself and heard Raph take a big gasp of air. immediately Leo helped Attila through the window, then it was a matter of pulling Raph out of the floor hatch.

"HEAAAAVEEEE!" Leo screamed as he and Attila pulled with all their might he even used Mystic Powers and managed to pull him in causing them to crash into the wall of the Tank as Donnie came down from the Taxi car above.

"Humans will never accept us." Attila muttered sadly.

"We can keep trying Attila, we won't give up just like Wolfie. Because we're the quote unquote MAD DOGZ!" Raph assured patting his back before striking a pose.

"Hey Uhh Raph, did you ever finish reading your book here?" Donnie asked having opened it out of curiosity maybe to find more information for where they went wrong. "Because it turns out after the Villagers accept Wolfie into their hearts he eats them all."

Attila's eye twitched before he face planted into the floor of the tank and suddenly lit on his own fire in frustration. "Book bad!" Klunk shouted at Raph.

"I really gotta start reading stuff till the end…" Raph muttered scratching the back of his head.

"So just so we're clear," Leo asked taking the book from Donnie. "You no longer like this book now?"

Raph shrugged. "No I guess not."

"That's all I need to know." Leo replied. The second they got home, Leo immediately put the book through his Dad's shredder with as much vindictive energy as he could muster.

Tiger Claw took off the Helmet again staring into the Mirror as Takeshi stared back. With a snarl he punched the mirror as hard as he could ripping off the Cloaking pin and tossing it away after crushing it. He hated that man. Takeshi was a monster. Tiger Claw was who he was now. Nothing else matter before Takeshi had died anyway…..
