The Fox and the Spider

Krysta sat in her dorm room she couldn't get Mikey's broken look and form out of his head. His words had been burned into her mind. "I'm bad and I'll always be bad! I only deserve the name of a Monster…Attila!" It wasn't true someone like he described himself as someone like the original Attila would not have risked his life to save her. Or push himself out of his comfort zone to vouch for her.

Living with Draxum had made it so he struggled with asking for stuff from others. Draxum probably beat him for a reasonable request the bastard. She sighed she remembered something suddenly. Big Mama Mikey mentioned that she had made it very hard to get human disguises for Yokai: Cloaking Broaches.

Other rumors she had heard were her powerful magic and just knowledge of the mystic arts in general. She was also capable of wrangling powerful beasts. Could she have something? There was only one way to find out. Carefully sneaking out she jumped down to the ground below and found a good Rock face to draw the portal rune in with the chalk Mikey let her keep. Once she had done that she had found herself back in New York and pulled out her phone.

"Siri find me the Address of the Nexus Hotel." She said to it. The Phone beeped within a few seconds she had a map and headed to a bus stop.

Above her was a cloaked figure with shell patterned shoulder pad on her right shoulder wrappings all up and down their arms and legs with spiked gold tipped shoes. The three fingers were armored with golden claws she had a black cloak reaching to her heels with a hood that was pulled up over a white helmet with thin pink lines that made a jagged mouth around the red eyes. She also had plastron like armor on her front the bottom half seemed to meld or be part of the cloak with a belt above it. She eyed Krysta before pulling up a crystal.

"She's on her way. The Plan can commence." The Figure said into the crystal.

"Well done my pet your foray in the mystic arts has improved scrumpdishly. Planting the idea in her head will bring her and the little Spitty-Fire to me. And you might have an extra pair of hands." Big Mama said sinisterly on the other side.

A Celebrity Yokai had arrived in the restaurant and Hueso was personally serving him to ensure they had the best experience. She was wondering why Krysta had called off. She had never done this before and had proven herself to have an excellent work ethic. He figured it was because of recent events and she hadn't been feeling well. "We have never had a Yokai of your kind before." He said politely as he placed the napkin down. "And I sure hope that was your lap." He said honestly.

The wall with a scenic painting of Venice Italy that was the portal to the city, suddenly had magic appear on it moving apart for the customer to Hueso's shock and horror it was a client he didn't expect for two more hours. One small Cyclops Yokai with black hair in a fur coat and orange-pink dress. She was surrounded by two large female body guards in dresses one with Pink hair a white coat and pink dress with real pearls around her neck, The other with blonde hair and a blue dress thick red lipstick with large fangs. Unlike her coworker who had an under bite of sharp teeth. One of them had whacked one of Hueso's waiters a fly Yokai and sent him careening into the wall with a splat. Hueso turned almost glaring at his workers being treated harshly but gasped when he saw who it was.

"The Makers of Brutality!" he gasped rushing over. "Uhhh you're early," he said nervously rubbing his hands together and smiling as sweetly as he could. "My Apologies boss Beverly may I suffer a thousand tortures for making you wait!"

"Eye Sockets this way Hueso! Big Mama's rescheduled her meeting so we're doing the same." Beverly growled.

"She has!" Hueso gasped his eyes widening as he sweat beads. If she had rescheduled their meeting then she had rescheduled the meeting with the Masters of Barbarianism! And if Krysta had called off then…the gears in his head turned to a horrible conclusion, "Oh no!"

"So how are we gonna do this exactly he might not think he can be saved." Donnie hummed as he, Leo, Raph, Splinter, Tigerclaw, Mayhem, Klunk and April sat with Carol in the TV room.

"He won't even talk to us about what he's been through and Draxum's made him scared around humans. What if he won't?" Leo asked nervously holding his arms not as flamboyant as he usually was as Klunk sadly shook her head.

"Leo he needs this! If he doesn't get therapy he won't stand a chance!" April cried.

"You're not helping April!" Leo said incredulously his fingers clenched as he threw down his arms.

"Look why don't we start with having him, get used to me for now?" Carol replied gesturing at them to calm down. "I can give you ways to approach him and help him until he's ready."

"That could work. It did take him a few days to get comfortable with Pops." Raph pointed as Leo's phone began ringing.

"Chello?" He asked when he picked it up it was Hueso panicking. "Whoa, whoa slow down Boneman," he said as they listened in. "Wait the Mob? Why are they at your restaurant?"

"Why is he serving the Mob?" Carol asked with an arched eyebrow.

"I think I know." Tiger Claw huffed.

"That's an excellent question, why are you serving the Mob?" Leo admitted.

"Never mind that! I need all of you here rapido!" Hueso shouted loudly over the phone to where Leo had to hold away from his ear and winced. Then he hung up.

"Go I'll stay here and keep an eye on Mikey, we might as well hit the ground running." Carol assured as the others nodded and left as they did Carol had turned to noticed Mikey standing in the hall nervously rubbing his arm trying not to make eye contact.

"Hello sweetie, how are you?" Carol asked softly.

"Good….ma'am…." Mikey quietly responded trying to make, himself as small as possible.

Carol's heart ached, a little he could tell Mikey was still reeling from his encounter with Draxum it was almost as if he was scared to get to know people again or any progress he made on his own was set back.

Klunk went over to him. "Mikey?" she asked looking up at him. He smiled weakly and picked her up hugging her.

"You're okay," she muttered leaning into his plastron.

It didn't take the Turtle Tank long to arrive where they had seen a limo outside the Alley where they could get to Hueso's they quickly jumped up and headed to the front.

"No!" shouted a voice, Leo turned to see the Bone man waving them over. "At the back!" he hissed as they all rushed over. When they entered the kitchen Hueso looked like he had been sweating a bit.

"What's gone wrong?" Tiger Claw asked crossing his arms.

"Big Mama has rescheduled her meetings with the Makers of Brutality and the Masters of Barbarianism; which means both will show up tonight!"

"So naturally you called the toughest bouncers you knew to clear out the restaurant right?" Leo asked putting an arm over his shoulder with a sly grin already having pulled out his sword and letting it rest on his shoulder.

"April O'Neil!" April declared readying her bat to bash some skulls.

"He can't that might break the setup he has with Big Mama, Which could lead to massive consequences." Tiger Claw replied as Splinter nodded in confirmation beside him something Donnie caught.

"What!?" Leo asked.

"That is how I got my staff's cloaking broaches for deliveries in the city! As part of one of her many deals I host some of her colleagues here!" Hueso explained pushing Leo off of him. "But there's something else. I'm afraid Nevada may have gone to see her and the reschedule so suddenly is not only because of that but-"

"To keep you out of the way," Tiger Claw added.

"Who's Nevada?" Raph asked.

"Well that means Snowy so I think he's means Krysta, are you telling us she bounced on you to go to Big Mama!" Leo asked in shock.

"Not good, Big Mama will sweep you up in a chain of deals and will alter her terms at the very last second. This is how she traps on those foolish enough to work out a deal with her." Splinter added.

"Papa, you seem to know her more personally then just a Kidnapping victim." Donnie pointed out puzzled. Splinter quickly pulled him his brothers and April close, and began blushing brightly under his fur.

"In addition to being a Crime Boss, Big Mama is also…..Kinda…my Ex…."

"WHAAAAAAAAA!?" the four teens asked together as Hueso shushed them loudly. Tiger Claw looked surprised that anyone had dated the Spider Yokai at all. He leaned in closer with interest.

"Believe me I rue the day those eight legs walked into my life!" Splinter groaned putting a hand to his now bright red face which he dragged it over. "I met her in Human form. On the Set of Crouching Tiger Shrimp; hidden Tiger Prawn! She was the Teamster that drove my trailer. It was love at first Tire Rotation. Oooh what a whirlwind we hit all the Discotheques, Exercise-Teques, Philly Cheesesteak-Teques and Petting Zoo-Teques heha! Big Mama and I were inseparable! Then one night at Dinner on the Green, I was going to ask her to marry me. Instead of accepting my proposal, she revealed that she was a giant spider! Kidnapped me to the Hidden City and forced me fight in the Battle Nexus!"

"Yeah that sounds about right." Tiger Claw grumbled.

Splinter sighed exhaustedly before putting his hand to his chin. "Not really the response I was looking for." He muttered remembered how he saw her eat a fly in human form once and sneeze out webs and didn't think much of it. "In Hindsight I might missed a few clues." He then smiled to Tiger Claw's shock. "I do miss her pre-kidnapping times" he said before getting lovey-dovey the tip of his tail twisting into a heart shape as he blushed again.

"Are you not totally over her?" Tiger Claw asked in shock.

"I mean how could, anyone stay mad at those eyes?" he asked ignoring the Tiger Mutant. "And that Smile or those-"

"Very easily, how are you not completely over her? She's a monster! She only dated you to get your guard down!" Tiger Claw shouted but Splinter wasn't listening. He was too busy reminiscing as Tiger Claw face palmed in defeat. "Boys if you ever date, aim higher than your father." He grumbled to the three turtles.

"Uhh how high are we talking?" Leo asked with an arched eyebrow.

"The sun…" Tiger Claw growled.

"If! I could get us back on track!" Hueso huffed irritated with being ignored. "I need some of you to stay and be my waiters and hosts while I cook and the rest must go after Krysta so she doesn't dive head first into danger!"

"Wouldn't it be better to smash them then smash our way to Krysta?" Raph asked.

"We don't have that kind of time." Splinter warned coming down from his nostalgia high. "And as Tiger Claw said it could jeopardize Bone man here."

"Not only that the Makers of Brutality and the Masters of Barbarianism are mortal enemies they will not hesitate to bash each other and destroy my whole place!" Hueso added frantically before composing himself. "My body can be repaired but my heart she lives in my restaurant. No harm must come to her!" he declared.

As Tiger Claw poked his head into the dining room of the restaurant to make sure it was just the Makers of Brutality. But that was a terrible mistake as Beverly saw him and liked what she saw.

"Well hello there handsome." She said fluttering her on pair of eyelashes.

"Crap Baskets!" He hissed to himself quickly drawing back in.

"Hey Hueso!" Beverly shouted Tiger Claw groaned knowing what she wanted.

Hueso looked over at him with pleading eyes, "No I don't do this whole situation!" Tiger Claw protested frantically pointing outside.

"That is why you have me!" Splinter declared jumping onto his shoulders, "With the Help of Lou Jitsu, you will sweep the Makers of Brutality off their feet!" He said holding his head close while gesturing with his hand.

Tiger Claw in response groaned held his paw out for a uniform which Hueso handed, "Muchos gracias." He whispered.

"Yeah, yeah," Tiger Claw groaned he was in for a terrible night. He quickly changed and came out.

"Purple, I need a com device!" Splinter shouted.

"Gotcha covered Daddy-O!" Donnie chipperly declared as he pulled out two ear pieces and a Microphone which the two fitted quickly onto their heads as Hueso pushed Tiger Claw out. He walked up to them eye twitching.

"Smile and ask show them to their seats." Splinter quickly hissed. Tiger Claw forced a smile that looked a bit too forced as he held out his hands.

"Ease the jaws, ease the jaws!" Splinter shouted

"Right, this way ladies," he said his lips twitching as he tried to make his smile more friendly and began to lead them to a table. As he did the door smashed open revealing Bruce and his two orange Snake Yokai henchman at his side. One had more straightened hair while the other's was more loose and spiky. The one that looked more clean had glasses. Other than that the two dressed in similar outfits. Bruce himself was a large Red Dragon Yokai with large horns and long white hair and beard. Tiger Claw through his enslavement to Big Mama, had heard was estranged from the rest of his family. He had a scar over his right eye not completely hidden by the eyepatch he wore. It was no doubt the injury that his father a powerful warrior Yokai gave him he when fought. He wore a tall collared dark red suit with a jacket draped over him like a cape as he rested on his Katana. He puffed out a small spark of flame and then snarled when he saw what he was looking at with his good eye.

Beverly smiled slyly at him. "Oh sorry Brucey did you want a special waiter too?" she asked with mock sympathy. "I know you like your men tough too. If I didn't know better I'd say you swung my way." She sneered. Bruce scowled at her his nostrils smoking as he gritted his teeth.

"Tiger Claw quickly, repeat, after me as you bow and lead them away. Ladies let's not waste time on the Riff-Raff" Splinter hissed into the com.

"That's gonna piss Bruce off!" Tiger Claw hissed.

"I've got it handled just do it!" Splinter Spat as Tiger Claw inwardly groaned and bowed.

"Ladies, let's not waste time on the Riff-Raff." Tiger Claw said feeling his doom as he lead them as far away from Bruce as possibly who was snarling as a blur of Black red and green suddenly appeared at their side.

"Hello: Other incredibly buff Waiter here to serve the Masters of Barbarianism!" Raph said with the biggest friendliest smile he could managed which Tiger Claw tried desperately to copy as he lead the Makers of Brutality away.

"Muscles are all well and good but I'm a Dragon of Quality not Quantity, what can you do?" Bruce asked him.

The snapper was nervous but then got an idea. "Ooh, watch this!" Raph said pulling up a large watermelon and chomping into it without hesitation instantly a large chunk of it was destroyed.

"Whoa-ho-ho," Bruce said with a smile. "No hesitation and you totally crushed it, literally I'll take fer tonight." He said as the snakes oohed and awed impressed.

"Right this way!" Raph said.

"Okay that leaves Krysta with us, let's hurry!" Leo said to Donnie Mayhem and April as they rushed back to the Turtle tank.

Mikey was trying to stay out of Carol's way. He had changed into a simply orange shirt and shorts. He was currently getting some water while she was in the other room. He reached for a cup his hands still shaking from before. But as he pulled one out he accidentally knocked another down he tried to catch it but ended up dropping both and watched as they shattered. His mind instantly went back to that horrible night. Draxum glaring right in his face, Klunk looking up at him in tears Splinter's head bleeding. He shrieked and tripped over his own feet crashing into cabinets. His shell had long since healed so it wasn't as sensitive. But all that was going through his head were those thoughts Draxum's words what he did.

He spiraled into a Panic attack hyperventilating trembling. He could barely make out words as Carol suddenly appeared in front of him. "Honey close your mouth breathe through your nose slowly. It's okay." She assured. Mikey tried to obey but he sobbed he managed to force it close and slow his breathing as he gritted his teeth.

"It's okay it was just an accident. Shelldon will get it." Carol whispered.

"I ruined the house I hurt Splinter! I hurt Klunk I'm a Monster!" he sobbed.

"No, no you're not. Tell me what happened," she said holding him close.

"I can't remember I've tried too but it's like my mind didn't record or something. Draxum said, I only existed to be a weapon, obey him and destroy humanity. And that got to me. I kept repeating the words in my head and I got so angry….and that's the last thing I remember. The next thing I knew I heard Klunk scream and saw I hurt her and Splinter and trashed the whole living room." Mikey sobbed.

"You had a rage black out. You lost control of yourself and you stopped being aware for a bit." Carol explained.

"Is it an ADHD thing?" Mikey asked bitter.

"No not at all." Carol said her tone hinting disgust towards Draxum. "Has Draxum ever allowed you to feel?"

"Barely," Mikey replied. "He said the only thing I ever needed to feel was the desire to defeat my opponents. I couldn't be happy because he said I was insipid and foolish when I did it. And he's told me over and over, Warriors aren't supposed to cry. Or be sad, because that was a sign of weakness and I was better than that. I was born a warrior so I should never cry or feel fear or need. And I was pathetic and weak when I did so. I should be more like Lou Jitsu, fierce unphased by any opponent. Ready to kill. The only emotion I'd ever need was the desire to destroy my opponents." Mikey muttered sadly his eyes clouded with the memories. His eyes had dulled considerably as he spoke.

"Our bodies need to feel emotions and because Draxum forced you to repress yours for so long that it's affectingly you badly. That's why it happened. But I can help you."

Mikey thought about this before burst into tears. "Please! I don't want to be a monster! I don't want to lash out ever again! I don't want to be a person like Draxum! Someone who hurts people and, and-"he couldn't continue as he began to wail he blubbered apologies.

"Don't apologize," Carol whispered holding him close. "You're okay, you're alright I will never leave your side. I Will stay I will fight with you…." As she began to hum Mikey began to calm down as she rubbed his back he began to breathe slow and deeply.

Krysta hopped off the bus pulling off her disguise as it left. She was here the Nexus Hotel was incredibly tall. She wondered if it could eclipse the Empire State Building. Others after it had.

"You're here to see Big Mama?" Asked a voice she turned with a gasp seeing a cloaked figure in a mask standing across from her on the same side of the street. Krysta got nervous how long had she been there. She felt a snarl of fear in her throat.

"Ye…yes," she muttered out.

"She's been expecting you, follow me." The Masked one replied before walking towards the Hotel Krysta rushing to keep pace. Inside was incredibly fancy. With real crystal chandeliers and incredibly clean and polished furniture, it wasn't unlike Terianno's mansion she had been mutated in before he took over the Castle Saint Angelo.

Instantly a bunch of Yokai janitors suddenly the cloaked figure stopped and held out her hand to make her stop. Janitor Yokai of various large animals and some snakes appeared from various places and vents all prepared a large red carpet that was rolled out in front of them as the Elevator opened and a few of them gathered around it and carried her down to Krysta as the Cloaked Figured knelt down in a bow.

"Well hello my sweet snowy vixen!" the Woman said warmly "A Small birdie told me you wanted to pickle my mystic knowledge." She said booping Krysta's nose after leaning in closer. They began to walk towards the elevator.

"Uhh yeah," Krysta replied thrown off by the strange vocabulary. The Elevator had come to a stop she noted the large glass window showing a perfect horizontal view of the Night sky. "I," she began nervously. "Have this friend. Michelangelo, he's been abused by a Yokai named Draxum maybe you've heard of him?"

Big Mama's eyes got wide for a bit before she looked ahead darkly and motioned to her assistant to follow. "I have, he's been going on blusterously for years about some silly Prophecy that says that humans will wipe out the Yokai. Mind you that prophecy doesn't state that humans are the threat. And for all he knows he could've of made it with his Oozequetos." She replied.

"Yeah I can imagine," Krysta muttered thinking about King Komodo and glancing down at her pawed hands with a twinge of pain. She found a new life but she'd never be herself again. She tried not to think about it. She was here for Mikey not herself.

"So about Mikey, he needs help. Draxum has left him well, broken badly…" she muttered rubbing the back of her head. "I hoping maybe you had something that would remove all the mental scars be been left with or at least help him." she said as Big Mama held out her hand and the Assistant placed a device in it. She came closer to Krysta and pinned a silver snowflake broach and tapped it.

Krysta immediately felt strange as the woman stepped back her vision was blurred by a barrage of light blue magic that swirled around her. Instantly she no longer felt the tail on her behind and felt her hair fall more cleanly around her face. She gasped and looked in the mirror revealing a girl the one she used to be.

"No way!?" she gasped.

"Does that answer your quizzical quandary my little vixen." Big Mama asked slyly as Krysta placed her hand up against the mirror and felt her face. It was skin not fur like before.

"It does…..it's like I was never mutated!" she said smiling brightly.

"Unfortunately there's no cure for the Ooze Draxum made. But I can help your little darling." She said slyly. "You came all this way to me for him. It's always so positively tingly to see such devotion of love."

"L…lov?!" Krysta muttered her face turning bright red. She instantly turned herself back in an attempt to hide how red her face was. "No….oh….that….uhhh….He's just a friend!" she gasped quickly.

"Oh my dear, that how it always starts. I was in love once. Until Draxum and his dreadful Goyles came between us." She sighed sadly.

"Oh well….It's a bit early to be thinking about whether it is or not," Krysta muttered feeling her skin flush underneath her fur as she exhaled. "I'd rather focus on what I need." She added trying to compose herself. He tail had fanned up considerably even her hair and fur were more noticeably spikier. She pushed the thoughts of Mikey's smile out of her mind.

"I have a delightfully Bubbly Brew that will erase his horrible memories of Draxum and leave him only with Good memories he's shared with you." Big Mama said with one more slight tease towards her.

"That's perfect!" Krysta said excitedly able to get around that slight note.

"We should discuss the details however nothing in life is free my dear." Big Mama replied.

"Uhh sure…" Krysta said nervously. She should've seen this coming.

With Leo, April and Donnie they had arrived as Donnie began typing on his phone."According to my hack-every-camera-in-New York App, Krysta is currently on the top floor with Big Mama." Donnie said

"We're running out of time! We gotta go!" April said about to rush through the front door when Leo grabbed her.

"Chill let's sneak in through back." Leo said pointing to the Alley way leading behind the building. Once Donnie got them inside they looked up at miles and miles of stairs before them.

"We don't that kind of time or energy!" April gasped.

"Which is why Donnie's gonna fly us up." Leo assured as the Soft-Shell grinned instantly he readied the jet pack function of his bike which both Leo and April hopped onto and they were quickly in the air shooting to the top floor of the Hotel.

"Here ya go kid Four Unicorns!" Bruce said happily said as he placed the four small creatures into the Snapper's hands.

"Whoa they're alive," Raph muttered.

"Focus!" he heard Tiger Claw whisper to him as he nodded and placed them off to the side. As he rushed to get them another large steak, as Beverly noticed Tiger Claw looking grim.

"I'm getting tired of your sour puss attitude." She growled at him. Tiger Claw inwardly groaned.

"She knows your smiles are fake! You need to step it up!" Splinter hissed to him.

"I am trying! I have not had a real reason to smile in years! My face is not cute and cuddly! I was controlled against my will by Your ex for twelve years! I have a Jaw PSI of thousand and fifty! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?" Tiger Claw snapped.

"An infinitely better attitude!" Splinter snapped back.

"Okay just think of happier times!" Tiger Claw growled to himself, "My apologies madam." He said managing to get a nicer smile out.

"That's better," Beverly replied.

"Oh I smell your soup be right back!" he said rushing to the Kitchen. The timer was set for another five minutes. His nose was telling him it was ready now he quickly got it out and grabbed some fresh cheese bread and brought it over. Beverley smiled.

"Ooohh you know me so well, kitty cat!" she said pulling something out of her jacket pocket. "Here you go, five Unicorns that's one more than four!" she said with a slight snide to Bruce who huffed.

Tiger Claw placed them on the booth beside the one Raph had. That was more or less how their huge collections started soon they had to block them all in so they wouldn't wander around the restaurant and get in the way.

"The Unicorns seem kind of sad." Raph said finally able to take a break after they had made it through the soup course.

"They're being used as currency I'd be sad too," Tiger Claw replied causing Raph to whimper for them a little. "Don't be like that! We'll let them go when we're done deal?"

"Ye…yeah," Raph replied wiping his eyes.

"Umm Carol?" Mikey asked as she had given him permission to use her name. "Where is everyone I haven't seen them all night."

"There was trouble at a Restaurant belonging to one of Leo's friends. They went to help out." Carol explained. "They left you here to rest."

"But I want to help!" Mikey said standing up.

"Are you sure?" Carol asked.

Mikey didn't answer he just pushed himself to start heading towards Run of the Mill Pizza.

"Nothing much dearie just some quiddy-proquoes." She replied simply.

"And that's all?" Krysta asked warily. The assistant who she learned was named Frieda had come over.

"All of details can be found in the contract, which you will need to sign before we give you the potion." She said holding up a large piece of paper. Krysta thought about it she remembered how Mikey was at the park. More so she remembered what she had seen the night she had been taken away. She went closer to Big Mama's desk none of them were aware that Leo had been watching.

"Mayhem, get us in there quick!" he hissed. Instantly the small Yokai lit up and teleported them into the room where they were Donnie and April grabbed Krysta and pulled her back as Leo slashed the contract in half.

"What are you doing?! That potion was going to help Mikey!" Krysta shouted.

"Oh really?" Donnie asked taking the potion and scanning it with his goggles. "This potion contains traces of a toxin that destroy memory!"

"That makes sense it's supposed to remove his bad memories!" Krysta growled.

"Well considering I have a plant with a similar Toxins I can imagine it wouldn't just get rid of the bad memories." Donnie growled.

"Krysta she's playing you! She sent thugs to Hueso's because she didn't want him coming after you! If this wasn't trouble then why would she!?" April asked.

Krysta thought about this and was getting worried when Leo spoke up. "Your contract also says you'd permanently end up like sunshine over there." he growled turning to Frieda who pulled out two small scythe like weapons known as Kama; As the extra-large Bell Hops began surrounding them. Krysta looked at the part of the contract she growled when she noticed the fine print.

"I didn't want all of his memories gone!" She glared at Big Mama who merely glared back before transforming. It was then they noticed something clutched in Donnie's hand.

"Oi! Drop what's in your hand!" growled the Polar Bear.

"I'm not sure you want me to do that," Donnie replied calmly.

"You heard him drop it!" Frieda shouted loudly her Kama pointed at him.

"Okay….if you insist." Donnie replied opening his hand as April, Krysta and Leo saw a familiar shape in it. "Monia bomb," he hissed. As it hit the ground the three and Mayhem held their breaths as they all started screaming in pain. Immediately Mayhem teleported them out of the office however quickly following them suddenly was Frieda who lunged at Leo who pulled out his Odachi and began clashing with her Kama's she swung down hard with an over hand throw that Leo dodged out of the way of as Donnie managed to bat it away. He then summoned a Fist extension on his Tech-Bo and surprised her with a blow that sent her upwards.

"April!" Krysta shouted kneeling down cupping her hands. Immediately the other girl understood and rushed over with all of her might Krysta threw, April up and the Green Clad girl reared her arms and bat back.

"APRILLLL O'NIIEEEELLL!" she shouted swinging as hard as she could hitting, Freida and hitting her into the wall where she crumpled a little.

Let's move!" Leo shouted as they took off running. They quickly saw a laundry cart and that the Bell Hops were quickly beginning to pour out of the office door. Donnie quickly turned his tech-Bo into a rocket belt that he attached to it as they took off down the floor.

"GET THEM!" Big Mama shouted pointing forward as the rest of the Bell Hops started running towards them. Donnie yelped as he controlled the flying laundry cart It was careening a bit too much from what he wanted. They heard shouting behind them as Krysta immediately froze the floor over behind them. Causing Frieda and several of the Bell hops to slip. Two had managed to slide forward but Leo was quick to wave his sword and cause a pair of Portals to appear above each other causing the Fox and Polar Bear to get caught in a similar portal loop he had almost gotten trapped in.

That didn't stop Big Mama she merely jumped on the wall and ran on it a bit before jumping back down where it was safe. She spat webs at them as Donnie yelped and zig-zag out of the way.

He began gagging. "Oh the Ammonia makes the webbing smell worse!" Donnie cried.

"Then give the wheel to someone without Texture and smell issues!" Leo shouted as he reached for it. Donnie agreed and let go slinking down to hold his vomit back as they flew down several steps Leo let out a yelp as he almost tipped the cart over having it wheel on the wall as it turned down another stair well.

"How long is this stair well!?" Leo yelped as they kept going Frieda had managed to catch up and was expertly jumping down the edge of the railing. Mayhem gasped and teleported them out of the of a Kama swipe that could've taken April's head clean off.

Eventually they reached the bottom and began to speed off but a blast of energy suddenly rushed at the wheels and toppled the cart over with a scream they all came rolling out. Donnie quickly collecting his Tech-Bo as the two closed in one them.

Carol was impressed with Mikey having basically beaten her there by jumping over the Roof Tops. Klunk holding on tightly to his shoulders, they saw her car show up. "Where is it?"

"It's not supposed to be easy to spot by humans." Mikey explained standing in front of a bunch of graffiti and holding his hand up. He let mystic energy pool into it and the door opened. They looked inside Mikey and Klunk yelped as the Box Turtle pulled Carol off to the side to hide. Tiger Claw gasped when he suddenly saw them.

"This way this way!" he hissed calling them towards the Kitchen as the two Mobs were sitting almost unaware of them "They hate humans you shouldn't have brought Carol here!" he hissed as he quickly tried to rush them to the kitchen Carol hiding under one of the Table clothes and keeping low.

"Baaaaddd," Klunk whimpered.

"Keep moving!" Tiger Claw hissed as they did so.

Beverly began sniffing the air. She glared, "I smell a human." She growled.

"Has one been here recently?" One of her body guards asked.

One of Bruce's bodyguards began to taste the air with his forked tongue. "No there's a human in the restaurant right now!"

"WHAT?!" Hueso asked in shock rushing over. "That's preposterous I would never serve them." he assured sweating beads as that was a lie but he couldn't tell them that. Bruce however got up and walked over grabbing a table and tossing it away and pulling at the sheet causing Carol to yelp and fall. She was there for all Six Yokai to see and snarl turning to Hueso Beverly grabbed him from the shoulder of one of her body guards. "What kind of joint are you running here Hueso?!" snarling. "You serve one of their kind!" she snarled.

"You've got a lot of nerve having her come here!" Bruce added as they all snarled at Hueso.

"Klunk look over there!" he said as her ears twitched.

"Unicorns?" she asked.

"Go tell them to get ready to charge." Mikey whispered.

"Got it!" Klunk replied as she rushed over sneaking around to make sure she wasn't seen.

"Hueso!" Raph shouted as he and Tiger Claw rushed over.

"One more step and Bonesy gets shattered into a million pieces!" Beverly threatened as Mikey noticed all the unicorns and got an idea.

"As does this filthy human!" Bruce added having gripped Carol roughly around her middle and holding her up.

"Let them go!" Mikey shouted loudly.

"Mikey/Michelangelo!?" Tiger Claw and Raph gasped.

"What?!" both asked turning towards Mikey who was standing there glaring at them. They laughed dropping Carol and Hueso who took off towards the Kitchen as Beverly caught her breath.

"And what is someone as cute and small as you gonna do against all of us?" She asked her voice laced with the implications of a threat.

Mikey merely smiled mimicking one that he had seen on Leo many times by now. He began casually spinning his Kurosai. "That's a better question for the Unicorns."

Cue the Ode to Joy Chorus….

This confused them but Mikey merely used his Weapon to break off the locks on the booths that had been being used to keep the Unicorns that Raph and Tiger Claw had held inside.

"ATTAAAACKKK!" Klunk shouted as the Unicorns took off running as fast as they could.

"Yaaaah be free!" Raph yelled excitedly but got tripped up by the small ponies rushing by him at once. The two Mobs screamed as they were tackled by the intense wave of equine numbers.

As they rushed through the streets of New York carrying their victims with them the Unicorns caused a blonde man in a blue coat to drop his groceries he fell back but just sat in defeat. Eventually they made their way to the Nexus Hotel where Leo and his crew were trying to fight off Frieda and Big Mama and getting exhausted as Leo jumped back he suddenly heard tiny hooves Donnie was beside him when the Slider turned his head.

"Uh Donnie…" he muttered.

"Yeah…Huuuuh?" he asked slightly stunned.

"FLYYYYY!" Leo shouted. His Twin instantly began soaring Mayhem helping the girls to get close to grabbing him as they flew up leaving Big Mama and Frieda to get swept up in the Unicorns.

Big Mama, Bruce and the Makers of Brutality were flailing in the swarm of Unicorns as were Bruce's Body Guards who looked like wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men as they did so. Frieda was just bobbing up and down.

"How many Unicorns are there?" Leo asked shocked.

"Forty Six thousand eight hundred fifty three, each" Donnie said Matter-of-factly. He then noticed a splash of blue. "Oh there go six thousand more blue ones."

"Over a Million!?" Krysta gasped.

"That is a lot….of Unicorns." April muttered as they crashed down before spreading out at the pier leaving the villains on the ground. As the last few of the unicorns left the restaurant with a magical prance.

"What were you thinking!? Going to Big Mama when we all told you how dangerous she was!" Hueso scolded as Krysta hung her head.

"You could've ended up in the Battle Nexus or worse like me! I got this scar from one of her mind control collars!" Tiger Claw growled pointing to his neck having changed out of the Waiter outfit right away.

"I was just trying to help Michelangelo…" she huffed not lifting her eyes from the ground.

"I don't want people suffering for my sake!" Mikey shouted in shock. He seemed slightly angry at this too.

"Well I can't stand by and watch people I care about suffer again! Last time I did that….they all died…" she admitted.

"When King Komodo…" Raph began his eyes wide in realization, but Splinter shushed him.

"Yeah, then….I did nothing…and Car- no my mother died! My Home was burned to the ground." She admitted tears spilling from her eyes. "And my friends could all be dead as well! I couldn't just do nothing again!" she hissed.

"Maybe there was nothing you could've done," Leo suggested softly.

"NO!" she screamed in denial. "There had to be something anything! She needed me to be better! They needed me to be better."

"There was nothing you could've done!" Raph muttered.

"Then why am I still here! Why am I alive and they're not!?" she asked crying as she was suddenly hugged by Mikey.

"Krysta…thank you for thinking of me." he replied softly. Krysta hugged Mikey back and began to cry herself. Some time had passed before Splinter and Tiger Claw found three of the boys sitting out in the back looking very depressed and exhausted again.

"Man when did things get so depressing?" Raph huffed leaning back.

"And complicated, feels like just winning isn't enough…" Leo muttered.

"The World's always been complicated." Tiger Claw replied. "You just learn that as you get older. It goes on it doesn't care about you. You're just along for the ride."

"Then what do you even do then?" Donnie asked irritably.

"You keep moving forward. That's all you can do." Tiger Claw replied.

Krysta had been sitting at a table alone with some Pizza Hueso gave her. She quietly ate. "Krysta," she heard Splinter say. She turned to him. "I know what it's like to wish you could do more. If it will ease your conscience, I can teach you Ninjutsu so you can fight more efficiently."

"Thank you," Krysta muttered in awe. She took a shaky breath and stood up. "I'll see you tomorrow for now I need to sleep." she said taking her food and leaving.

"You'll need to train us too," Splinter heard Leo suddenly say Splinter turned to see his sons on the ground bowing.

"Dad, listen I'm sorry about what I said; Not just my usual sorry but really sorry!" Raph said muttering. "And we're realizing this won't end until we defeat the Foot. Making sure the Shredder doesn't come back is the only way to save Mikey for sure."

"It's time we stepped up and embraced our Destiny as descendants of the Tamato Clan." Leo added.

"It's Hamato," Donnie hissed to his younger Twin.

"Oh yeah that's right it's Hamato," Leo corrected himself lowering his head a bit more.

"We're ready to become the Ultimate Ninja's dad." Donnie finished.

Splinter hummed with a nod, he knew they were right. There was no denying their destiny anymore. "It will require great sacrifice on your part. You must focus only on learning the ways of our ancestors. You must let go of your former lives. Your childish ways, shed your old selves like a skin and become an extension of the clan ready to sacrifice all even your lives and sense of self."

So I'm taking a break from writing chapters for just a bit after this. For one thing the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet comes out tomorrow and as I'm writing this I need to polish off the last of the Prodigy outline. Then I can begin on the Season 2 outline!
