California Moments Earlier
As we see through the eyes of an tourist as he is videotaping everything on the pier and is enjoying every minute of it especially watching a beautiful girl walk past him.
Cameraman: Checking out the beautiful scenery. [Fluirting.] Well, hello.
As the girl eyeball rolled him she went on with her walk along the pier as then another tourist which is his friend is annoyed with him.
Cameraman 2: Oh, come on, man. You're embarrassing yourself.
Cameraman: Dude would you just relax?
Suddenly a meteor hit the ground near the ocean and everyone ducked for cover afraid what was that.
Cameraman: Whoa! What was that?
Cameraman 2: Look right there!
As they stay down they suddenly looked up and see a towering robot with blue eyes looking at them but soon there was a laser that hit the robot.
Cameraman: What was that?
Cameraman 2: I don't know.
They continue recording as they see a robot fighting another robot when the one that fired first had him on the ropes and was planning to crush its head.
Cameraman: Did you see that what were those things?
Cameraman 2: Look!
Then a blast hit the robot that was winning and then the robot below him caught the one on top off guard as both cameraman are panicking as well as everyone else at the pier.
But soon their troubles will be worse when both robots exploded along with their bodies part's flying past them and close to them.
Cameraman: Oh dude did you feel that?
Cameraman 2: Oh, man, I am out of here. I'm so outta here!
Cameraman: What are they doing man?!
As the Cameraman lost his friend he called out to him for confirming that he is close by.
Cameraman:Gary, where are you, man?
Gary: Rodney!
The two cameramen that we now knew are Gary and Rodney run away from the destruction and Little did they know that the Evil robots head was falling close to them until it was right on top of them the two scream out in terror when suddenly Iron man saved the day and stopped the giant head from crushing the two.
Rodney: I-I-I-
Iron Man: Iron Man.
Then we have a zoomed out shot on the screen where we see a woman giving the news on this Iron Man.
Anchorwoman: That incredible footage coming in from California as Iron Man saved the city from what eyewitness call-
New York City
But it was soon turned off by an African American man by the name of Rhodey Rhodes who was wearing a military outfit as he talks to his best friend Tony Stark who had fair skin slicked black hair and was in casual expensive clothes and driving a expensive car as Rhodey doesn't like what Tony was doing.
Rhodey: Iron Man stops a giant robot fight? Really? You could have told me.
It was clear Tony Stark was Iron Man as he deflected that question.
Stark: I like to Brag, but that footage didn't capture how big those two things really was. I mean both were HUGE.
Rhodey: So what were those two robots doing fighting each other?
Tony: I actually have no idea? I thought Ultimo called in some help but it turns out it didn't like people getting hurt.
Rhodey: Like some sorta robot hero?
Tony: Yeah.
It was weird for Tony to have help with a Giant Robot fight seeing how he was always by himself fighting but since when does a Robot care for casualties, even putting himself in harms way? So much was on his mind but James ruined his train of thought by being the bearer of bad news.
Rhodey: Ok, look, that just makes my point for me. SHIELD should be fighting giant robots, not you. They're not the bad guys, Tony. And they need your help.
Tony: I'm out of the weapons making game, Rhodey. You're looking at a kinder, gentler Tony Stark.
Rhodey: That fights Super-Villains.
As Tony was watching the road he saw a semi truck in front of him and decided to move past him and get in front of him as it honked made the truck driver a very and honked his horn.
Tony: We've been over this a million times. You're starting to bum me out.
Rhodey: What about the Hulkbuster Unit? Even if you won't build weapons for SHIELD, you can still help them take out that monster.
Tony: I am not listening to Rhodey anymore. [Singsong Voice.] La la la. [Normal Voice.] I can't believe this is what you wanted to meet about.The giant robots were more fun than you.
As they make their way to a certain building called Stark Tower owned by Tony Stark as he said before he used to make weapons for the US Military until he showed up to one of his Weapons Expo in the Middle East and was blown up by one of his own weapons, he survived with a little help of a Prisoner there as well. Something in him changed, when he was tortured and forced to make weapons for them he made something no one thought of... he made his first suit of Armor with boxes of weapons and scraps made from his own weapons and escaped.
After he had escaped and returned back to his home, he made some major changes to Stark Industries. He wanted to... he NEEDED to make this right. He didn't want to be a Weapons manufacturer anymore he wanted to actually make the world a better place he wanted to make things that were self sustaining powered energy, Like his own Arc Reactor in his chest.
Inside Starks Tower Garage
Inside we see Virginia Potts or her nickname Pepper Potts she had Red hair and green eyes as she waited for Tony Stark. She was his other friend and secretary for everything around Stark Industries.
She was waiting patiently as she looks at her watch waiting for Tony to show up but her wait was over when we see an expensive Exotic Red Car pull up with Rhodey in the passenger seat.
Tony: Pepper. I already know you're a great assistant, ok? You don't have to park my car, too. We've got valets for that.
Pepper wasn't really amused about Tony's jokes or anything for that matter as it clearly shows on her face.
Pepper: For someone who makes their living off of technology, you should try answering your phone, I've been calling you for the last 20 minutes.
Tony: Aw, because you miss me so much.
Pepper: Because HYDRA Just attacked the United Nations.
News Copter Camera
We see from a Birds Eye view that HYDRA was attacking the United Nations as we see a huge skull like octopus coming out of the water and over the United Nations building with its bottom hatch opening up and we see hundreds of Hydra foot soldiers coming out.
Back at Tony's Office
As Tony was angered by this he immediately asked Pepper if this was happening now.
Tony: This is happening, right now? Where's SHIELD?
Pepper: 40 Minutes out. There's a military dental at the U.N. But, Tony, it's a full assembly. Every world leader is attending, including the President.
As Tony looks at Pepper he immediately looks away and walks away to which Rhodey notices.
Rhodey: Hey, where are you going?
Tony: Pepper, reschedule my lunch meeting. I'm going to be a few minutes late.
Tony Starks Armory
This is where Tony Stark kept all his Armor as he used and newly created. He uses these armor to protect himself and others from certain danger like Hydra or that giant robot he fought in the west cost.
As the door opens we see Tony in a skintight suit with circuitry and his Arc Reactor center piece glowing as he moved toward one armor in particular as he calls out Jarvis.
Tony: Jarvis, Fire it up.
Jarvis: [Robotic Voice.] Very good sir. Initiating the Mark 6.
J.A.V.I.S. is an acronym for "Just A Really Very Intelligent System," as he helps Tony get his Armor on as it covers every part of his body except the chest piece.
As Iron Man flys out the building heading towards the U.N. to stop HYDRA from taking it over.
Rhodey: [Via Comms.] Be careful, man.
Iron Man: Why would I start now? I'll be 10 minutes. 15 minutes max. Trust me.
We see Iron Man then fly away at high speeds towards the U.N.
The United Nations
At the United Nations in New York we see the military personnel there are getting their ass's handed to them as they can't fight back against this sorta attack. As one stops what their doing as they see a giant HHYDRO octo bot above HYDRA forces as it aimed at the U.N. Forces with its head cannon it was then stopped attacked by Iron Man Uni-beam and blew a big hole in its head.
Iron Man: Timber.
The HYDRA bit then fell backwards and into the water as Iron Man asked for information on his Armor from his cheeky A.I. Jarvis.
Iron Man: What do we got, Jarvis?
Jarvis: Armor is down to 40%after using the Zuni-beam which I recommended against.
Iron Man: I meant on the ground.
Jarvis: Ah, yes.
We then zoom in by using Iron Man suit and we see Jarvis count all the Targets that were left.
Jarvis: 14 Hydra targets all heavily armed, sir.
Iron Man: Huh. Maybe I should have brought Rhodey along. Jarvis activate external speakers.
Jarvis complies as it allowed him to speak to the remaining Hydra soldiers.
Iron Man [Speakers.] Attention, HYDRA goons. You've been trying to take over the world for 60 years. It's not happening.
As he was talking a HYDRA soldier armed with a Rocket Launcher aimed it at Iron Man and fired but he narrowly avoided being hit.
Iron Man: He actually shot at me.
This made Tony mad at them and attacked em
Iron Man: [Angry.] Fine. We'll do it the hard way.
The two sides clash but HYDRA weapon's deflected off of Iron Man Armor and along his arm there is a missile and fired at them but it wasn't a normal missile it launched more missiles and attached to the weapons to each Hydra Weapon and exploded as it took them down.
Then there were two HYDRA soldiers were unarmed and we see Iron Man lift up a car like it was just nothing but air. As we see their masks but if we could see them they are terrified beyond measure.
Iron Man: Hi, there.
As he casually says that he aims his gauntlet and energy beams at them and defeats them. As Tony looks around he laughs at HYDRA soldiers as they were extremely easy to defeat.
Iron Man: [Chuckles.] Wow, they don't make bad guys the way they used to.
He throws the car he still held up in the Air aside but the Octo HYDRA bot then jettison three pods from his head as Jarvis warns him as alarms go inside his armor.
Jarvis: Warning, incoming projectiles.
As the three projectiles landed in front of Iron Man and he shielded himself as smoke covered the area, as we see the Silhouette of the three metal balls we see them changing into something more menacing as Iron Man has his bearings.
Iron Man: What was-- [Looks in the Direction of the pods.] Jarvis?
Jarvis: Armor power down to 32%. Recommend recharging.
We then see the pods were actually HYDRA Dreadnought Class Robots they were created as huge humanoid machines of war and all three were powered up their weapons as one had eye laser's, one had flamethrower mouth, and finally one had hand drill as they have one Objective as they stated now.
HYDRA Dreadnought: [Computer Voice.] Target acquired. Designation, Iron Man. Destroy.
This made Iron Man a little bit scared as he stands his ground in front of them.
Meanwhile back at S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, 5 Minutes out of the United Nations
We then see all of SHIELD Agents working around the clock at each station and we see one pedestal command center where we see Nick Fury standing there along with three others Maria Hill, Phil Coulson, and Jamie Rhys.
Fury: Update.
Maria: The Hellicarrier is roughly five minutes out at this speed. Our local Shield units are under attack and unable to respond.
Fury: That's five minutes too long, Hill. You got any news that's actually useful for me.
Maria: I-I-
Suddenly Jamie puts a hand on her shoulder and comes in with new information in to help her out from Fury's glare as he hands her information on what is happening at the U.N.
Maria: [Clears Throat.] Sir we have information that Iron Man is there.
As Fury doesn't say anything he looks on ahead with his one right eye and the left is blocked by an eye patch.
Meanwhile at the United Nations
We see Iron Man being attacked as he cry's out and blasted back into the Concrete as the three HYDRA Dreadnought's come close to Iron Man.
Iron Man: Jarvis, talk to me. Divert all power to shields sand analyze that blast.
Jarvis: Shields not responding.
Iron Man: That's not good.
Iron man then dodged the attack but then there was 5 missiles launched from the destroyer. He got two from the air and then blasted off and used the pole's of all the nations flags and got two and finally finished the final missile chasing him as he sighed from the crisis. Suddenly Jarvis warns him about an incoming contact.
Jarvis: Alert, new contact.
He was suddenly tackled by the Dreadnought and both hit the building until they fell on the roof before landing in the fountain when Iron Man was getting up before he was attacked by the Dreadnought with the Drill.
Jarvis: Blast analysis completed, sir.
Iron Man: Now? This thing is about to drill through my head.
Jarvis: The targets are HYDRA Dreadnought class robots, but they've been upgraded with repulsor tech weapons.
This caught Iron Man off guard at that last thing Jarvis said.
Iron Man: That's my tech. HYDRA's using my technology against me?
The Dreadnought moved in close and hit Iron Man's head with the tip of the Drill but he pushed it aside and got up.
Iron Man: Electromagnetic Pulse.
Jarvis: Not enough power.
Iron Man: Fine, divert power to repulsor's.
Iron Man used his repulsor to attack but the dreadnoughts are shielded. Hydra is using Tony Starks Tech and this made him get even more mad.
Iron Man: You've got to be kidding! That's MY shielding!
He was then altered to the dreadnought that was behind him as it close enough to hit him and past the two other Dreadnought and into the U.N. Building and fell to the ground.
Iron Man: Uni-beam!
Jarvis: Ill-advised. Your current operating power is not sufficient to energize the uni-beam.
The Dreadnought then picks up Iron Man and throws him to the underside of a U.N. Armored truck that was tipped over to the side of the first attack.
Iron Man: I need those shields, Jarvis.
Jarvis: Repulsor shield re-boot sequence already in progress.
This wasn't looking good for Iron Man as he didn't have long to re-boot.
Iron Man: Fine. Come on, you pieces of junk. Show me what else you got. Because you probably stole it from me, too.
Meanwhile back at Stark Tower
We see Pepper look towards a single smoke stack in the distance and Rhodey talk about Stark as Pepper seemed to care for him as she was putting her hand on the window as Rhodey knew that she put up a lot of stuff for Tony as he begins to tell her that Tony was going to be ok... at least he tells himself that and he is for the most part.
Rhodey: I'm sure he's gonna be fine, Pepper. That armor, it's invincible.
Pepper: I'm not worried about the armor, Rhodey. I'm worried about him. He's all alone out there against the people who stole his technology. Tony is out there all by himself and there's nothing that we can do to help him. I understand why he feels he has to do this. I just don't understand why he has to do it alone.
As it weighs on her shoulders that Tony might die and with no help whatsoever from anyone... it makes her feel uneasy as she clenched her folder.
Meanwhile back at the U.N.
We see smoke and Fire coming from the destroyed Octo Hydra we see energy blasts from the Dreadnoughts repulsor eyes and aimed it right towards Iron Man who dodged it and caught the other Dreadnought off guard behind him as it blasted its left drill arm but it retaliates with a flamethrower in its mouth as is possibly built in with all other dreadnoughts. As Iron Man couldn't handle being in close proximity to the flames he backed away as the fire consumed him, the other Dreadnoughts waited to see if they got him but Tony survived and pulled the one armed robot dreadnought in the sky and dropped him into the other dreadnought as it created a dust cloud.
As we see from Iron Man point of view we see he was scanning anything of his parts and looked through its exoskeleton and found his technology in them as it says "Stark Industries" which meant they were using his tech. He then got mad and slammed into the dreadnought and pulled out it's energy core which shut down the robot.
Iron Man: MINE!
He was then blasted Iron Man but he quickly escaped the second blast and we see the Dreadnought blasting him but he didn't notice that one HYDRA soldier was waking up and sees Iron man with little hesitation he grabbed the rocket launcher with Iron Man in his sights. He was then blasted in the back by... his own teammate.
HYDRA Soldier?: Not yet.
There was something different about this soldier he was cold and ruthless and the type of guy you felt uncomfortable with as working as a teammate. As he looks on the battlefield before he fakes being knocked out by Iron Man.
As we go back to Iron Man he put his energy into his right hand and repulsor him but he was shielded again as the Dreadnought use its flame breath but Iron Man decided to give him a taste of his own medicine by using his rocket boots and melts his face and is horribly damaged and falls backwards.
Suddenly Jarvis then warns Tony that there was a missile lock in him.
Jarvis: WARNING-- weapons lock detected!
It was to late to dodge them as Iron Man was thrown forward the last Dreadnought standing seemed to be glaring at him with his Repulsor Eyes. As Iron Man struggled to get up we see energy blasts attacking it from above and we see the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier is finally at the United Nations and is ready to protect it, finally.
Iron Man: Sure, now you finally get here.
Then we see SHIELD Mandroids get out of the Helicarrier and they fly down safely with ease in front of Iron Man.
SHIELD Mandroid: Iron man. By the authority of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division, you are hereby ordered to stand down.
They then aim their weapons at Iron Man incase he attacks them.
Inside SHIELD Helicarrier
We see Fury watching Iron Man from an SHIELD Mandroid External Camera as he hears the Mandroid talk again as we see the Mandroid scanning him.
SHIELD Mandroid: [Via Screen.] Iron Man, I repeat, stand down, by order of Shield.
Maria: Your orders, sir?
He remains silent as he waits for what Iron Man is going to do.
Meanwhile outside
As we see Iron Man looking up to see the Shield Helicarrier he couldn't help but question whether to not wake up in the morning.
Iron Man: Jarvis, make a note. Remind me not to wake up in the morning ever again.
Jarvis: Noted, sir.
Iron Man: How's the uni-beam power level?
Jarvis: 26.2%, Recharge in progress. With no further energy expenditure, the uni-beam will be available in 2 minutes 42 seconds.
SHIELD Mandroid: This is your last warning. Stand down.
Iron Man needed to stall for time so he did what any person could do stall until he can fire the Uni-beam.
Iron Man: Unless you guys are here to thank me for doing your job for you, I'm not in the mood for this.
SHIELD Mandroid: You'll need to come with us, Iron Man.
Iron Man: I don't think so.
Jarvis: Uni-beam power is at 52%
Iron Man: Jarvis, scan mandroids.
As Jarvis was Scanning the Mandroid we see its internal structure and we see machine components but upon further investigating we see a human was actually driving it. The Mandroid was like Tony's armor but less superior then the original but Jarvis then found something interesting in each Mandroids systems.
Jarvis: Alert-- seven components of the Mandroid armor are derived from Stark Industries Technology.
SHIELD Helicarrier
As we go back on the Carrier where we see Iron Man on screen as Fury watches him on his command deck.
Iron Man: [Video Screen.] That's some nice armor you got there. Who's your tailor?
Jamie then looks on his computer and notices something as he tells Fury this.
Jamie: Director Fury, Iron Man just scanned the Mandroid armor.
Maria: Why would he do that?
As Fury probably knows why he then decided to play this tactfully.
Fury: Call them back. Tell the Mandroids to stand down.
Jamie: Sir?
Fury: We did not come here to fight Iron Man.
Jamie: Sir? We have him right there we can–
Fury: What did I say?
Fury gave Jamie a look as Jamie seemed to have trouble with Fury a lot of times as he seemed to struggle with Fury chain of command but relents and agreed to call them back.
Jamie: Yes, sir.
Jamie then went to his monitor as Maria watched him when he wasn't looking as she looked to the side before she went back to work. It's as if she felt a little sorry for him.
Back with Iron Man
We see Iron Man closing in on the Mandroids and asking about their Armor as they back up.
Iron Man: Where did you get that armor?
Mandroid: Back away.
Suddenly the Final Hydra Dreadnought that was thought to be deactivated was actually still active as it used it's drill and stood behind the Mandroids who were unaware of it except for Iron Man.
Jarvis: Warning!
Iron Man: Where did you get that armor? Look out!
Suddenly the Mandroids then decided to open fire as they mistakenly thought they were going to be attacked by Iron Man when the real threat was behind them. Suddenly Iron Man repulsed two Mandroids away to actually use his Uni-beam on the Hydra Dreadnought as it blew them away and when he finally destroyed it he stops and kneels down on one knee as he was exhausted from the onslaught of the Mandroid blasts.
As we look inside his Iron suit it was on the reboot as it finally reboots we see he's ok and stands up and moved over to the other Mandroid's to see if they were ok and they were but a little bit injured and one moved his head to the side to see Iron Man standing above him.
Iron Man: You all right?
On the Helicarrier
Back in the Shield Helicarrier we see the Mandroid live video feed as Fury was watching this. Before Iron Man reached down and grabbed the live feed.
Iron Man: Good. I need to borrow this.
Maria: We've lost all Mandroid feeds. Trying to get a location on Iron Man.
Jamie: Found him!
This shocked Jamie as he had his eyes widen in shock as he couldn't believe it as he tells Fury.
Jamie: Um, Director? He's–
Fury: Don't bother, let me guess.
As Fury had a unmistakable feeling that Iron Man was going to show up right behind him and he was right. Right below the Helicarrier Iron Man blasted right up to the Command Deck and is carrying the Mandroid Helmet as he has something he wants to talk about.
Iron Man: You want to explain this, Fury?
He threw the helmet down as Fury gave Iron Man his undivided attention.
Iron Man: You stole my tech.
Suddenly two pistols were aimed at Iron Man as it was Maria Hill and Jamie Rhys as they seemed to be on the same wavelength on stopping Iron Man.
Maria: Tony Stark, step away from Director Fury now.
Then we see behind Iron Man that there were a hundred SHIELD agents all pointing their guns at him.
Jamie: You are under arrest, if he moves open fire.
Fury: Stand down, Rhys, Hill.
Jamie: What?! You can't be serious? He attacked my men I sent down there and you say stand down?
Fury: He saved them, Rhys.
Phil: And not to mention he also saved the United Nations from HYDRA while we were on a Red herring.
Fury: Yeah, so stand DOWN.
As Maria and Rhys look at each other and both didn't like it but comply.
Iron Man: You used my inventions to make war machines.
Fury: Come on, Stark. You've been selling us weapons and technology for years. We just modified what you gave us.
Iron Man: Modified? Try twisted. You twisted what I made. And then you let it leaked to HYDRA.
This made Rhys and Coulson both looked conflicted as they were shocked to hear this and Fury kept his composure but was also confused by what Iron Man said as well.
Fury: Come again?
Iron Man: SHIELD got hacked, Fury, and you know it. Those HYDRA dreadnoughts are about two degrees off your Mandroids.
Maria: Those Mandroids will save lives, Stark. That's what SHIELD does. And when you withold resources from us, you're just giving the advantage to groups like HYDRA.
Iron Man: You are not getting this, are you? Weapons don't solve problems. They only make problems worse.
This made Rhys and Coulson look at Iron Man as he seemed to be a man that spoke from experience something that seemed to have an effect on Rhys more than you would think.
Fury: Wake up. How exactly do you think our problems are going to get worse? You've seen what's out there. The tech Hydra's got. Super-villains coming out of the woodwork. Monsters like the Hulk. We need Tony Stark then some armored vigilante. You can't do this alone. You're only one man.
Iron Man: One of me is more than snot. I'll get my tech back on my own.
As Iron Man went down the Ramp everyone except Hill, Coulson, Rhys, and Fury aimed their weapons at Iron Man.
Iron Man: Do you really want to go down this road Fury?
As Iron Man was ready to take on all of SHIELD if need be but Fury silently told them all to stand down. Iron man then continue to walk towards the exit as he decides to Inform them on the Situation down at the U.N.
Iron Man: By the way, there's about three dozen unconscious HYDRA agents waiting for you down there. No need to thank me.
Maria: Sir, I––
Fury: HYDRA got into our systems. We have a leak. Find it and Plug it.
Maria, Jamie, and Phil: Yes, Sir.
All three run towards the interior of the Helicarrier to find the Leak.
Fury: And get me the Black Widow.
At The U.N.
As we see Iron Man outside the Helicarrier we see him flying over the U.N. As Shield is there and is picking up what Iron Man left for them as we see HYDRA Soldiers picked up and in handcuffs. As Iron Man went by for a close look to see how things are as everyone is fine even the Mandroids he leaves unaware that the one HYDRA Agent was watching him leave as he smiles smugly as if he knew something that we don't.
Shield Agent: Keep Moving. You Scum are headed for the Vault.
As he and four other Agents of Shield look at each other and Smile at that as they seem to know something we don't still and gather all the other Hydra Agents inside.
Stark Tower
As we see Tony Stark out of his Iron Man Suit as he talks to Rhodey and Pepper about what happened today.
Tony: I'm not gonna lie to you Rhodey. There were three robots this time and guys in robot suits.
Rhodey: I tried to watch it on TV, but Pepper wouldn't let me.
Tony: She never watched.
Pepper: I don't need to. I already know you're gonna be late for your meeting.
Rhodey: You don't have to do it alone, you know?
As Tony stops in front of the door way he turns around and replies to Rhodey.
Tony: Do what?
Rhodey: All this. Taking on SHIELD. Giant robots. Super-villains. The WHOLE world doesn't have to rest on your shoulders.
Tony: Yeah, it does. I mean, I know you guys are always there for me. But against this? Who's gonna help me?
As they all leave the room leaving Tony's Armor alone.
A/N: I know I put two different Aliases of Tony Stark and Iron Man in there. I thought about putting Tony who is in Casual wear Tony and Iron Man when he is playing the Hero. This is going to be the Case with Most other Heroes. You know Secret Identity stuff.
