"After the golden guard, I mean Hunter, told us about Belos' plan, Principal Bump and the faculty helped the students out and allowed us to camp in the auditorium. Then the draining spell happened. All the faculty and staff were weakened by the sigil that was drawn on them. That was not the worst part however. When it seemed like the draining spell was removed, that was when the Collector's spies started to hunt us grudgby team snuck out and try to fend them off, but it was to no use as only one survived. That day, we not only lost two students, but the staff, and Principal Bump," the female witch explained.

"That day, I went from Bartholomew to Manolomew," the man said with pride.

Indy and Jack laughed out loud at this while the kids just stared with cringe in their eyes.

"Indy, I thought your name's origin was bad but this kid probably took the cake," Jack said, laughing.

"Cut it Shannon," Indy said, he then turned to the female witch and asked, "By any chance, did you three spot anything weird going on. Like activity that seemed out of the ordinary," Indy asked

"Well, we did see what seemed to be humans with this weird contraption," the female witch said.

"Weird contraption?" Indy asked.

"Yeah, a very big thing. Looks like a beast of some sort. Has a long nose and wheels around it," the female witch described.

"Shit, they have a tank," Indy said.

"I am assuming that you humans know who these other humans are," the female witch asked.

"Unfortunately we do, the leader of the humans goes by the name of Phoenix. We do not know all that much about him other than he leads a cult that looks up to Belos," Indy explained.

The female witch and her friends stopped. "Belos?" the female witch asked.

"Yeah, he is still alive," Luz said.

"He is not the only one we have to worry about. Apparently, he and Phoenix gained some support from these people who call themselves Nazis," Indy said.

"And let me guess, these Nazis, as you put it, are not the friendliest types of humans?" the Man witch, who calls himself Mantholomew, asked.

"Yeah, you can say that," Indy said.

"So, what are you exactly, human? A beast tamer of some kind?" the female witch asked.

"Not exactly. I am more of a treasure hunter. They call my profession Archaeology. I am also a teacher, who teaches the practice to a younger generation," Indy explained.

"Why do you dress up like a beast tamer then?" Mantholomew asked.

"My profession tends to attract a lot of danger with it," Indy said.

As they got near the school, the female witch stopped them. The group got into cover, as Indy grabbed his revolver and Jack had his rifle ready. Indy looked up in the sky, and froze as he saw a star with an eye in the center flying over them. He gulped as Mantholomew gave them the all clear.

They got to the entrance of the school, which was barricaded by a wooden slab. The windows were all boarded up. The entire school looks like it was in shambles and decay as the sides of the school were crumbling.

"We decided to renovate the school a bit," the female witch said, "So I welcome you all to New Hexside."

The group entered the school as Indy and Jack looked on with awe as they could not believe their eyes. There were creatures of every kind living here. From the ordinary witches, to what seemed to be cyclops, to even small, demon-like creatures. There were creatures of every size, shape, and color. Indy put his gun back into his holster, as he felt more comfortable with his surroundings.

The group walked through a marketplace, where kids were selling goods. One kid was selling candy, but one of the younger demons bit hard onto his arm, causing the kid to yelp in pain. Indy and Jack wince as they felt the kid's pain. They also passed a class room, where a group of young demons were tearing a stuffed animal to pieces.

"Hey kid, it is actually surprising you guys are able to create a living, thriving society here," Indy said in astonishment.

"Thanks, we try to survive on what we have, but it isn't enough," the female witch said.

The group approached a statue, as the trio of witches stopped. "This is our statue of Principal Bump, who sacrificed his life for all of us," Mantholomew said.

The trio of witches saluted at the statue. The gang looked up at the statue, as they saw an older man riding what seems to be a board of some kind. This caused Indy and Jack to chuckle a bit as Indy said, "I see this Principal Bump guy was respected, in a weird sort of way."

As the group continued staring at the statue, Indy heard some chattering. He looked up to see that they were being watched by the students. The students watched in awe as they saw that their friends and classmates had come back safely. But they also watch in curiosity at the three new strangers. Especially with the one human in strange clothing.

"Luz is back," one student said.

"And so is Amity," another student said.

"Who are those other humans with her?" one student asked.

"I don't know, but the one wearing that weird getup looks cool," another student said.

"Willow!" a kid, who was wearing a hook for an earring, shouted as she ran towards her, hugging the plant witch, "I am so glad you are here. Your orchids have become sentient and started a war with the kindergarteners."

A creature with one eye walked up to Gus, holding a paper clip. He was mumbling something that neither Indy nor Jack caught, but apparently Gus understood him.

"No, human paper clips are not a good substitute for food. Have you been feeding people these?" Gus asked worriedly.

The creature panicked and ran away, causing Indy and Jack to chuckle in amusement.

"Mittens!" a girl's voice shouted.

Amity looked to see her sister running up to her. They both gave each other a long embrace as Amity was crying into her sister's arms.

"It's…so good to see you, Em," Amity said, between her tears.

"Same to you, Mittens. You guys look like you've been through stuff," her sister, Emira, said.

"You have no idea," Amity said, laughing happily. She then heard her brother calling out to her. Turning to the direction, she saw her brother was in a cast. "What…what happened to you?"

"After you and dad left the factory, I decided to follow you guys. Then the collector's goons cornered me, so I escaped from them. And then I fell into a pile of rocks," her brother, Edric, explained.

Amity just chuckled as she gave her siblings a big embrace. Still crying into their arms. Indy, Jack, Luz, and Tina watched on, as they were happy the young witches were able to reunite with their friends and family. Indy then walked to one of the witches, the one with the hook for an earring.

"Oh, Viney, let me introduce you to Indiana Jones. If it wasn't for him, none of us would be here," Willow said, introducing her friend to Indy.

Indy tipped his hat as a greeting.

"Thank you so much, sir, for helping my friends," the young witch said. She then took a look at him and asked, "Are you a beast tamer by any chance?"

"No, I'm not, kid, I am an archeologist," Indy said.

"What kind of archeologist uses a whip?" Viney asked.

"I do. But that doesn't really matter. Who is the person in charge here?" Indy asked.

"That will be Boscha," Viney answered.

"Boscha?" Luz asked.

At that moment, an intercom came alive with a voice telling Mantholomew to bring the new guests to the throne room. Mantholomew did as he was told, as the group followed the young man to where they needed to be.

The group was brought to a large room that Indy can assume is the school's gymnasium. As they were walking to the front, the group saw a young student trying to plead his case about stocking for food. Indy noticed that the student was pleading to another teenager, who had three eyes instead of one and had some paint on her face, as she was listening. Though this teenager looked bored, she listened to the student's suggestion. After the student was done, another person, a smaller person with redskin, talked to the leader. The person suggested not to follow through with the plan, saying it might cause her to get caught by the Collector's guards. The teenager agreed and dismissed the student.

Indy looked over at Luz who was surprised as she whispered the name Boscha under her breath. "So that is who this teenager is," Indy thought.

The student turned around and was surprised to see the group. "Oh, it's you guys," the student said in surprise.

"Did she not take any of our suggestions?" Mantholomew asked.

"Unfortunately, no. Sorry, though, I gotta make sure those kindergartners aren't hunting lockers again. It was nice seeing you guys, though," the student said as he walked kids waved him a goodbye.

"Boscha we have found…," Mantholomew was about to say but was interrupted, "Sorry, let me introduce you to student body president, Boscha, and her trusted advisers Mickey and Roka."

"Welcome to New Hexside, home to the future of the Boiling Isles and stuff," Boscha greeted the visitors.

"What the hell is going on here?" Luz asked.

"Yeah, Hexside doesn't even have a student council. I would know, cause I was demanding Bump to let me create one and he didn't let me, cause he thinks I am too obsessed with it," Amity ranted, but was held back by Indy.

"Easy kid," Indy said. Amity just sighed in defeat.

"And who are you two?" Gus asked.

"My sister and I were traveling here during the day of unity. But after we found out we had to hide during the 'incident', Boscha took us in and we set out to place law and order in this place," Mickey explained.

"And now, we are flourishing," Boscha said in pride.

The group heard screaming as they turned to see the older kids getting chased down by the kindergartners, with Edric falling and overtaken by them. He was screaming to tell his story.

"Yeah, this place is flourishing alright," Indy remarked.

Boscha ignored the statement from the human as they turned back to face her. "Ok, well, let me introduce you to my new friends. This is a well known archaeologist from our realm named Dr. Indiana Jones. That right there is his friend, Jack Shannon, a well known musician, and that girl is named Tina," Luz introduced, "We have come here to help. We are here to rescue everyone from the Archives and save the Boiling Isles."

The room went silent as only a cough was heard. "Not the reaction that I was looking for," Luz said.

"As the leader, the safety and the well being of the students are more important to President Boscha. This mission you have proposed is suicide," Mickey explained, "Especially after the horrors that her own grudgby team faced."

"Ugh, I don't want to hear it. But you are right, we are staying put," Boscha stated.

"But…," Luz was about to say.

"And that's that!" Boscha shouted.

As they were being kicked out, Indy had enough and shouted, "What about the Nazis and the Cult Members?"

"What?" Boscha asked, in both anger and confusion.

The guards stopped pushing the group out as Indy walked towards Boscha. "We weren't the only ones who entered through the portal. If you even care about these students, then you should know about the other humans in this realm," Indy explained.

"Like they are going to attack us. We are well fortified here," Boscha explained.

"Are you guys well fortified against a tank?" Jack asked.

"What…what's a tank?" Boscha asked.

"Apparently one of your people spotted a beast that sounded different. It had a very long nose and no face. This beast is a tank and it is very dangerous, especially to a group of teenagers and children such as yourself," Indy explained.

"Do you think that will scare us?" Mickey asked.

"Not only do they have tanks, but they have guns and artillery. Neither the Nazis or the Cult care about who you guys are or what you guys do. If they don't think you guys are a part of the Aryan race, they will kill you and everyone in this school," Indy explained.

"So be it, but we will fight to the death," Mickey said.

"You girls don't understand do you. The race to the Collector is not one of seeing who can defeat him. It is a race against good and evil, light and dark. If Belos or the Nazis get their hands on the Collector, who knows what kind of hell they will create," Indy explained, "If you two will not do anything to protect these children, then we will."

"What you are asking us from us is suicidal and if not downright insane," Boscha said, "I said we are staying here and that's that!"

Boscha pounded her fist on the chair, hard. As the group was being herded out of the gymnasium, Indy heard glass breaking as a stick was being thrown into the room. Indy realized that this stick was not a stick, but a grenade as he ran as fast as he could to throw back out the window. He then pushed Boscha and Mickey to the floor as they cursed in confusion. The group dived to the ground as they knew what that might have been.

"What are you doing now human?" Boscha asked furiously.

The grenade went off, as an explosion rocked the room violently. Some parts of the ceiling came crashing down. Everyone got up from the ground, coughing and dusting themselves off.

"What was that?" a scared Boscha asked.

"That was a grenade and my guess is that the Nazis have found your nice little haven," Indy said as he took Boscha's hand and ran towards the door.

The group ran out of the room as the sounds of gunfire, screams, and shouting were through the hallways. The gang was running through halls, as Indy and Jack fired their guns at the Nazis. Boscha and Mickey were following behind, not knowing what's happening.

As the group continued through the halls, dodging through students running away from the weird sounds and creepy humans, they hid behind a wall watching the Nazis herding some of the students into a group. The group watched as some of the younger students were holding each other in fear, as they did not know what these humans were going to do to them.

"What's going on human?" Boscha asked.

"I don't know, but I do not like this one bit," Indy said.

"Indy, look," Amity said, pointing at some sort of large machine.

"There's the tank," Indy said.

"It seems that the Nazis are forcing the kids into the trucks, Indy," Jack said.

"Where do you think they might be sending them to?" Tina asked.

"I might have an idea and I hope I am wrong," Indy said.

"Belos?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah," Indy said.

"Please tell me you have a plan, human," Boscha said.

"Well, first, we need to rescue those kids, then we have to deal with that tank," Indy said.

"And how are we going to do that?" Mickey asked.

"I don't know, but I will think of a way," Indy said as he saw two soldiers standing idly near the entrance. "Jack, follow me, I think I have an idea on how we could rescue those kids."

Jack followed Indy as they both crept up behind the two soldiers. On the count of three, they both subdued the guards, knocking them out with the butt of their guns. The two Americans dragged the bodies of the guards back towards the group. The witches stared in confusion as they did not know what was going on.

"Um, Indy, what are you planning to do with them?" Willow asked.

"We need to rescue those kids, and the best way to do it is to blend in with the Nazis," Indy said as he started to undress one of the guards.

Indy and Jack were putting on the uniforms and straightening their hairs. They then put on the respective military hats. The witches continued to stare in awe, as the humans grabbed the guards weapons and whatever equipment they were able to scavenge. Indy felt around in his pockets and felt a couple zipties in his pockets. He then looked at the kids and had an idea

"So what's the plan now?" Luz asked.

"You guys will be our prisoners, so that we can sneak into the back of the trucks. Once they leave the school, I will try to take control of the truck. Once that happens, we then have to make our way to the tank in order to destroy it," Indy said as he was putting the zip ties onto the kids with Jack following him, "This will make it more believable."

"And how are you going to achieve that?" Mickey asked.

"That, I am still figuring it out," Indy said.

Indy and Jack checked their weapons, making sure it still had some bullets. Cocking their guns, Indy and Jack lead the group towards the truck. Indy and Jack stood guard as they were guiding the witches to the trucks, counting how many trucks the Nazis had and how many Nazis there were. The group was stopped by an officer, who questioned Indy and Jack about the witches. Indy, in perfect German, explained to the officer that these are some more prisoners that they had found. The officer thought for a moment, and decided to let Indy and Jack bring the kids into the back of the last truck.

Indy and Jack force the kids into the truck as they got in behind them. The kids were surprised to see some of their friends there as Viney and Emira were looking terrified. When Indy and Jack got in, they saw a few guards watching over the students. Viney saw Indy and Jack and looked betrayed as she thought they came to rescue her.

The Nazis were following the tank to god knows where. Once they were far from the school, Indy moved to sit next to one guard while Jack did the same. They all began to chat in German, making the other guard laugh a bit. Then all at once Indy punched the guard, pushing him off the truck. Jack did the same, as the two guards lay motionless on the floor.

"What's going on?" Viney asked.

"We are here to rescue you," Indy said, as he got out his pocket knife and freed all the prisoners in the truck.

"Luz, free the rest of your friends. I am going to gain control of the truck," Indy said, tossing the knife to Luz.

Indy moved to the back as he jumped onto the roof of the moving truck. The witches stared in awe as they never saw a human do something so brave and so crazy at the same time.

Indy made his way to the driver's seat, as he opened the door and threw one of the Nazis, who he caught by surprise, out of the seat. He then tackled the driver, punching and kicking him out of the seat. Indy was able to regain control of the truck, as he pulled open the flaps to the back of the truck. Jack and Boscha climbed in as Indy sped up to the next truck.

"We need to free your other friends," Indy said, as he gave the wheel to Jack, "Shannon, can you make sure to keep the truck in view. I am going to see if I can find a way to disable the tank."

"Got ya, Indy," Jack said.

As Indy jumped to the back, Boscha sat there in awe and confusion. "You humans are always full of surprises," she said, impressed.

"Well that's Jones for you," Jack said, smiling, "Wherever he goes, trouble always follows. Just ask him about Adrian Powell."

"So, do you think he has a plan?" Boscha asked.

"Probably not, we never expected it to go like this," Jack said.

"So this tank as you put it, why can't we destroy it with magic?" Boscha asked.

"It's not worth the risk, and plus we don't know if magic can affect it," Jack said.

"Here kid, be careful with it," Indy said, as he peeked out from the back of the truck, giving Boscha his satchel.

"Why are you giving me this?" Boscha asked.

"It has some grenades in there. Found a way we can disable the tank. But first, we need to rescue the rest of the students," Indy said as he got back to the front.

"And how are we going to rescue the rest of my friends?" Viney asked.

"Jack, can you pull up to the truck?" Indy asked.

"Sure, Indy," Jack said, speeding up the truck and driving it next to the truck in front of him.

"On my count, I need you guys to jump with me onto the next truck," Indy said.

"Are you crazy?" Luz asked

"Look, the tank is four trucks up, if we manage to catch the Nazis by surprise, then we are able to destroy that tank and rescue the kids," Indy said.

"I do hope to the titan that you are right, human," Boscha said.

As Jack pulled up to the truck in front of him, Indy jumped to the next truck. The Hexside students followed him as they jumped onto the truck, holding for dear life. Indy went for the driver's seat again, catching the Nazis by surprise, while Luz and the rest of the Hexside students went to the back to take care of the guards. Luz, Amity, Willow, Tina, and Hunter managed to overpower the guards as Viney, Gus, Emira, Boscha, Mickey, and Roka freed the students.

Luz jumped to the front, sitting next to Indy. Indy gave her the wheel as they approached another truck. Doing the same thing, Indy jumped to the next truck, with Viney, Emira, Boscha, Mickey, Roka, Tina, Willow, Hunter, Gus, and Amity following him. As before, Indy manages to take control of the truck with the students taking out the guard in the back and freeing their friends. When they were done, Tina got into the front, sitting next to Indy.

"You know how to drive one of these?" Indy asked.

"No, not really," Tina said.

"Skinny one is the brake, fat one is the gas pedal," Indy explained as he pointed to the floor, "Just keep the wheels straight."

Tina nodded as Indy gave her the wheel, switching seats. Once Tina got adjusted with driving, she sped up and pulled up next to the third truck. Before Indy jumped, Tina said, "Good luck, Dr. Jones."

"Thanks," Indy said. He then jumped to the next truck, with the students following him.

Like before, Indy managed to take control of the truck while the students freed their friends. "Just one more truck to go," Indy whispered. He then looked at his satchel to see the grenade jostling., "I do hope this plan works."

Opening the flap, Amity jumped into the passenger seat. "So driving this thing is like driving the flying boats?"

"Yeah, I think. Just keep your feet on the big pedal to go fast and keep the truck straight," Indy said.

Amity nodded as she took the wheel from Indy. Indy jumped to the next truck as the students followed him. Indy, again, took control of the truck, while the students freed their friends. Opening the flap, Willow and Boscha climbed to the front.

"This is the last truck. Now, we have to take care of the tank," Indy said.

"How?" Willow asked.

"I need one of you to take control of the wheel, while I jumped on to the tank. Once I landed onto the tank, I need you to drive back to the school and get the hell out of here. I don't want any of you to be caught in the blast," Indy said.

"I'm going with you," Boscha said.

"No, it's too dangerous," Indy said.

"Look, these Nazis or whatever you call them destroyed the school and took some of my people as prisoners," Boscha said.

"Kid, I don't want you to get hurt. You are staying put," Indy argued.

"Human, even if you don't let me go, I will still go," Boscha stated firmly.

"Fine," Indy relented, as he gave the wheel to Willow, showing her what she needs to do.

Willow listened intently as she drove the truck behind the tank, getting a bit closer so that Boscha and Indy could jump on. Once they were on, they were greeted by some soldiers as they got out on top of the tank one by one. They were led by Phoenix, who just smiled.

"I see you survived Dr. Jones," Phoenix said, an evil grin appearing on his face, "You are a cockroach."

"Phoenix, what the hell were you planning to do with the children?" Indy shouted.

"They were…test subjects to say the least," Phoenix answered, coldly.

"Why you," Boscha said as she threw a spell at Phoenix, who just dodged it.

Indy unhooked his whip as he swung around, stunning some of the soldiers. Phoenix pulled a knife, about to stab Boscha. Indy intercepted him, grabbing Phoenix's wrist, as Boscha threw spells at the Nazis. Indy and Phoenix were in a brawl, as Phoenix thrust his knife at Indy, who dodged it with ease. Indy threw a punch, knocking Phoenix back. Phoenix thrust again, this time managing to stab Indy in the shoulder. Indy screamed in pain as he pushed Phoenix off of him.

While Indy was facing off against Phoenix, Boscha had problems of her own as a few of the Nazis cornered her. Using the spells she knows and strategies she learned from Grudgby, Boscha managed to take some of the soldiers down. One of the soldiers fired off a shot of his gun, which struck Boscha in the arm. Boscha screamed in pain, as she felt the bullet go through her arm.
Indy saw this and attempted to whip the pistol out of the soldier's hand, but was stopped by Phoenix. Indy swung his whip around, making Phoenix back off. The tank continued to steam roll through the forest as our heroic duo fend themselves off against the Nazis. Phoenix prepared to lunge at Indy again, as Indy dodged again, this time successfully whipping Phoenix wrist and pulling it towards him. Phoenix was forced to release the knife as Indy kicked it into the tank.
Phoenix just smiled again as he put his fists up. Indy, still recovering from the knife wound, put his fists up weakly. Looking down, Indy pointed to Phoenix's feet, catching the cult leader off guard. Phoenix looked down, which Indy took advantage of and punched him. Phoenix just wiped the blood off of his face.

Boscha, who was holding her wounded arm, was being surrounded by the Nazis. Like a cage animal, Boscha was fighting with all she got. But the more she used her magic, the less strength she had. Boshca held some flaming balls in her hands, preparing to launch them. The flames were wavering, as it went from being bright to dim to bright again. Boscha threw the ball towards one of the soldiers, who managed to dodge it. The ball ended up landing on one side of the tank, causing a light explosion.

Some of the soldiers flew off of the tank, killing them. Indy fell to the tank, giving Phoenix the advantage. The cult leader proceeds to wrap his fingers onto the American archeologist, choking him. Indy instinctively reached for his neck, trying to get Phoenix to let go. Phoenix smiled wide as Indy's lights were going dim.

As his vision was going blurry, Indy felt Phoenix's fingers released from his neck. Looking up, he saw the leader of the school, Boscha, standing over him, holding a shovel. Boscha fainted as Indy managed to catch her.

"I need you to stay awake for me, kid, c'mon," Indy said, as Boscha nodded weakly.

Indy replied with a nod as Boscha stood up in a weakened state. Indy then turned to Phoenix, who was recovering from the hit, and proceeded to punch him to a bloody pulp. Blood was coming out of Phoenix's mouth and head, as Indy proceeded to knock him inside the tank. Indy then took the satchel of grenades, taking one out, and threw the satchel inside the tank. Indy took the pin out of the grenade he had in his hand, and threw it into the tank.

Indy then ran towards Boscha, grabbing her, and using his whip to wrap around a tree. Making sure he had a tight grip on the leader of the school, the duo swung off the tank, landing hard on the ground. The tank continued to move for a few more seconds then exploded in a ball of fire. Indy used his body as a shield, covering the kid from the fiery debris.

Indy and Boscha sit up to see the fiery wreckage of the monstrous machine. Indy turned to Boscha and noticed her arm was soaked in blood. Worried, Indy tore a piece of the uniform, creating a tourniquet for the kid. Boscha jumped in surprise, not knowing the kindness the human had shown.

"Thank you…human," Boscha said weakly.

"It's good it went through, cause it might have caused an infection," Indy said, "You fought like hell kid, I am actually quite impressed."

"Thank you, I think?" Boscha asked.

The two just collapsed on the ground as they felt their legs give way. Indy and Boscha sat around, relaxing their legs a bit. Indy noticed Boscha fidgeting around, trying to say something, but couldn't.

"Something is on your mind kid?" Indy asked.

"I am just wondering, why would you still help me even though I did not provide my help to you guys? Is it just a human trait I miss?" Boscha asked.

"You know, that is something I always asked myself. Let me tell you something kid, when I was starting out as an archeologist, I was a bit more cutthroat. I have done some…questionable things that I now regret doing. I have stolen stuff, held someone hostage, and traded with some unsavory characters. It wasn't until my time in India when I changed my ways. It was me, a kid I adopted, and this show girl who joined us, albeit reluctantly. We crashed into a country in my world called India and found ourselves in this village. Now this village was apparently cursed as this cult leader, a different one compared to Phoenix, took these magic stones. Their crops were destroyed and their livestock was dead. What they worshiped was these stones called the Sankara stones. Now legend has it that Shiva used these stones to defeat Kali which are both gods in one of my world's religions. Now after finding out that it was these stones the cult stole, I with my adopted kid and the showgirl set off to take these stones back. But to me, I wasn't planning to give all of them back to the village. One, yes, but all of them no. I wanted to bring a stone or two back to my country to put it in a museum. To put it simply, I believe in fortune and glory," Indy explained.

"What changed?" Boscha asked, looking at the human.

"Well, the girl, the kid, and I made it into the temple through a hidden passage of a palace. After a ceremonial sacrifice, I proceed to steal the stones. As I stole them, I heard some strange screaming and crying. I walked towards the source of the sound and saw that they were using children to find more stones. What makes things worse was that when they were of age, those monsters brainwash them with a dark version of magic called voodoo in order to do their bidding. I was one of the victims that had experienced what they called the Black Sleep of Kali. It was not a fun experience to say the least as it made me do some of the most unforgivable acts that I still regret to this day," Indy continued.

"But it seems that you are not under now," Boscha said.

"Yeah, because my adopted kid, his name was Short Round, freed me from it. Once I was free, my mission was not of the stones, but to free the kids and escape with our lives," Indy said, "Our past actions will not always define who we are as a person. It's our present and future actions that define us."

"It doesn't feel like that," Boscha said.

"Why's that?" Indy asked, curious.

"I was raised to be better than everyone, to be the best. Because of that I have been more of an unsavory person," Boscha said, "I just feel alone right now. Amity left me to be with that human, and my friends are now puppets. For me, I am just alone and scared."

"You know you could change, right. You do not have to be someone that no one likes. You could be the best at being kind to people," Indy said.

"But how?" Boscha asked.

"You already know how," Indy said.

"What?" Boscha asked, confused.

"You rescued me from Phoenix, that shows some courage. You just have to be kind to people and allow change to happen. Then, you would be happy," Indy said.

"Thank you, human, for this," Boscha said.

"No problem kid," Indy said.

The two continued sitting in silence until Boscha spoke up. "Indiana, right?" Boscha asked.

"Yes, kid?" Indy asked.

"Do you really believe that you and Luz will save the Boiling Isles from the Collector and Belos?" Boscha asked.

"Kid, I don't know what to believe anymore. We are all out of our league here, especially fighting against a god. But we must try if anything," Indy said.

"Do you or her have a plan to defeat them?" Boscha asked.

"Unfortunately, no. As of now, we all are just making this up as we go along," Indy said.

Boscha put her face in her legs and started to weep quietly. Indy saw this and said, "But, again, we are willingly to save everyone on the Boiling Isles. We will save your friends, I promise," Indy said, smiling.

Boscha laid her head onto the human's shoulder, feeling protected. Indy allowed her to rest as they waited for a ride. It took about thirty minutes until a truck arrived. Inside, it revealed one of the students, Viney, Indy remembered. Viney looked at the wreckage and then at Boscha and Indy and stared in shock.

"Is this what you humans called archeology?" Viney asked.

"More or less," Indy said, smiling.

Indy woke Boscha up and led her to the back of the truck. Indy then went to the front, where Viney moved to the passenger seat, as the human got into the driver's seat. The witches rested, as Indy drove back to the school where they were met by the students of Hexside, Luz, her friends, Tina, and Jack.

Everyone got out of the truck as they met up with each other. Whispers were heard through the crowd as they were in awe and amazement of what a human could do. The ones who were held prisoners thanked the archeologist and his friends, with a few of them wondering if they could sign some of their stuff.

Going through the crowd, Boscha and Indy walked up to Luz. "We should rest," Boscha said, "Then, I will show you guys a secret pathway to the Archives."
