"Making it to the Archives is going to be very dangerous, Indiana," Boscha said, "The only way we can travel there is through a spell."
Boscha unrolled a scroll which revealed a glyph. Indy and Luz were studying the scroll as Boscha continued to talk.
"As you have learned Luz, this glyph is the teleportation glyph. This will allow us to travel to the Archives without alerting any of the Collector's guards," Boscha explained.
"So using the magic portal will help us to get where the Collector is, sounds easy enough," Jack said.
"Not really, there is still the issue of Belos and these other humans," Boscha said.
"If my guess is correct, they will try to attack the Collector," Indy added. He then turned to Boscha and asked, "How fast are you able to make this glyph?"
"That I do not know. I have never done this magic before. The only one who has done this type of magic is her," Boscha said as she pointed to Luz.
Luz backed up as she stuttered. "Is…is there any other way to get there?" she asked.
"Unfortunately no. All the routes are either taken control by these humans, whatever is left of the Emperor's coven, or by those searchers the Collector has," Boscha explained, "The only easiest route will be using this glyph."
Indy looked at Luz and saw her shaking a bit. Thoughts of Belos were flashing in her mind as Luz's eyes grew wide in fear. She ran out of the room as fast as she could before anyone could stop her.
"I will talk to her, you guys figure out a plan to get into the Archives," Indy said as he ran after her.
"I am going with you," Amity said as she followed behind.
The two ran through the hallways, searching for the human girl. They passed through lockers and classrooms searching for Luz. As Amity passed one of the classrooms, she saw her girlfriend clinging onto an egg. Indiana stopped and turned around to see that Amity was staring into the room where Luz was in. Her and Indy walked into the room calmly. They heard Luz crying as she held tightly onto the egg.
"Is everything alright kid?'Indy asked.
Luz did not look up, as she continued to cry. Amity walked up towards her girlfriend and sat next to her. The purple hair witch laid her head onto her girlfriend's shoulder. This cause Luz to looked up with her eyes red and puffy. She first saw her girlfriend laying on her and then she saw Indy in front of her looking very worried.
"Feeling better kid?" Indy asked.
"Yeah, I do," Luz said.
"What happened?" Indy asked, his voice is one of concerned.
"The last time I did that teleportation spell, I ended up helping Belos. I have taught him that spell by accident, which allowed him to learn the secrets of the Collector," Luz explained, "I don't want to make that same mistake again."
"You won't kid," Indy said.
"How do you know I won't? How do any of you know that I won't just betray you to the Collector?" Luz asked.
"Because I know my girlfriend. I know she isn't the one to give up so easily. I also know she won't let anything get in her way from achieving her dreams," Amity said.
Amity grabbed her girlfriend's hands as Luz looked on her girlfriend in shock. "You were the one that helped us escape with our lives to the human realm. You were the one who introduced us to Dr. Jones and his friends. You were the one who was able to help us get back here. And you are the one who is going to help save the Boiling Isles," Amity explained, "You are the Good Witch Luz, Child of the Human Realm, Student of the Demon Realm, Warrior of Peace."
"I…just don't want anything else going bad for anyone else. I have already lost King and Eda, I don't want to lose you guys too," Luz said.
"You won't, I promised," Indy said.
"It doesn't feel that way. I have told Indy this, but after we defeat Belos, I am planning to go back to the human realm to my madre forever," Luz announced.
"Luz…" Amity said.
"Kid, is that what you really want?" Indy asked.
"I… I don't know. It seems like the safer option for everyone," Luz said.
"But is that what you really want, Luz?" Indy asked.
"What?" Luz asked.
"What is it that you really want? From the bottom of your heart, what do you truly want?" Indy asked, "Because I know that this is something that you truly don't want."
"I…I want to be understood. I want people to know who I truly am and accept it. I want to introduce my girlfriend to my mom. I want people to truly know who I am. Overall, I just want to finally be understood. That is all I want," Luz said.
Luz felt the egg break underneath her as Indy and Amity watched in curiosity. Luz looked on as the egg began to glow through the cracks. As the cracks slowly spread, the egg finally opened with a burst of light. In its place was a staff with a glowing orb onto it. Indy, Luz, and Amity all stared in awe and wonder as the staff floated towards Luz. The top of the staff was changing creatures, in a random shuffle of a deck.
"Do you know what your palisman will be?" Amity asked.
"Yes, it's going to be a snake shifter," Luz said, as the palisman chose a creature, "His name is Stringbean and he is cute."
The snake shifter was a purplish color, with an orb like thing on its tail. Indy was cautious approaching Luz, as to him, the snake shifter was a monster. But after spending some time in the Boiling Isles, the archeologist is happy that it is not a creature that can kill him.
"Kid, I don't know how this is happening, but I think you might finally understand what you really want," Indy said, smiling as he adjust his hat.
Luz gave Indy a hug, which the archaeologist responded back by hugging her back. The trio walked back to the briefing room, as all the eyes were laying on Luz and her staff.
"Luz has a staff," Gus said.
"Why does that make me nervous?" Willow asked, almost nervously.
"So I see you have a staff, human," Boscha said, "And I see your palisman is a snake shifter. It fits you, Luz."
"Thank you, Boscha. That is the nicest thing you said to me," Luz said as she look towards the rest of her friends, "I am ready to do that glyph now."
"Good, cause we are running out of time," Boscha said.
The witches drew a huge glyph on the ground in front of the school. The entire school was watching with Indy, Jack, and Tina as Luz was leading her friends in drawing the glyph. The glyph was very intricate with many detailed shapes and patterns. Everyone stared in awe as the witches were finishing up.
Getting off of their staff, the witches regrouped with Indy, Jack, and Tina as they began to talk.
"Belos would be expecting us," Boscha said.
"So we will be ready," Jack said.
"I do hope that this Collector kid can be reasoned with. If he is not, then this will be one short trip," Indy said.
Emira, Edrich, Viney, Skara, and Mary approached the group. Emira and Edrich gave Amity a hug, while Viney did the same to Willow and Luz and Skara with Boscha and Amity. They then turned to Indy. Mary, the witch with crescent like horns protruding out of her head, held onto what seems to be a dagger of some kind. The dagger was very elegant and magnificent as Indy admired the intricacies of the artwork.
"After learning what an archaeologist is from Luz, we, the students of New Hexside, would gladly give you the dagger of the Titan. This dagger was passed down from Headmaster to Headmaster as a way to portray the powers of Titan magic and how powerful it can be. We will trust you, Indiana Jones the human, to protect this dagger at all cost and teach our culture to your people," Mary explained.
"You don't have to do that kid, this is your culture," Indy said.
"We must as we are not able to show how grateful we are to what you and your friends have done to help us," Mary said.
"Thank you," Indy said as he bowed his head. The archeologist put the dagger into his bag.
"Good luck to all of you," Viney said.
"And give Belos and those Nazis hell!" Emira shouted.
The witches hugged their friends and family with a tight goodbye hug. They then joined up with Indy, Tina, and Jack onto the a tap of their staffs, the glyph glowed a blueish glow as the wind started to move around them. The wind covered the group as they were swallowed up by the wind.
The next thing the group saw was a large castle-like house towering over them. Indy, Jack, Luz, and Boscha stare up as they felt the cold wind biting at the back of their necks.
"We are here," Boscha said.
Boscha led the group up the stairs of the Archive house, with everyone having their weapons ready. They slowly made their way up, avoiding the Collector's guards. Each step they took, one of the Stars flew past them, looking to see if anyone is entering the archive house. As soon as someone spotted a Star, the group hid behind the railing, making themselves look like they were a part of the stairwell.
As they finally made it up the stairs, Indy noticed that something was off. Looking around, he saw that those star things was flying in the sky. He also notice that it was quiet. Too quiet.
"Something is not right," Indy said.
"What?" Boscha asked.
"Something is not right," Indy repeated.
"What do you mean something is not right?" Hunter asked.
"Do you guys hear that?" Indy asked.
"No," everyone replied.
"Exactly, it is quiet. Too quiet for my liking," Indy said.
At that moment, strings came down as they wrapped around our heroes. Everyone struggled as they were pulled up and inside the Archive House. The lights grew dim for everyone as they fell to a comatose state.
