I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics, even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise. Whether I will have Oc's in the fic or not depends entirely on how the story goes.

Chapter 15

Hinata did not know where they were, she was an adept sensor and hyper-sensitive to her surroundings. Smell, touch, sounds, all those senses of hers were dialed up to a hundred.

So although she did not know where Naruto had taken her, she could smell that it was an aged old place not been touched in many years. Walking along the walls from the doorway back to it again she understood it wasn't a house but rather a cottage.

By the creaks the floorboards made she realized it was made of wood and by how birds were tweeting inside she figured there was no roof or a part of it was missing letting the little critters in.

"What is this place Naruto-Kun?" Hinata asked Naruto as she followed his signature but just then he placed a hand on her shoulder stopping her.

"Careful Hime, there's a bed in front of you."Hinata heard him say and she nodded in understanding.

"As for this place, well this is where I was born." Naruto said casually. But Hinata could feel and hear the sadness, and anger in his voice so taking his hands in hers she moved backward and sat on the bed as he stood in front of her between her legs.

"You don't have to tell me Naruto-Kun." Hinata tried to talk him out of it as she rubbed her thumbs on the back of his hands.

"No, I want to tell you, Hime." Naruto told her and squeezed her hands reassuringly. "This is the place where my mother gave birth to me." He continued and Hinata looked around the cottage even thou she could not see.

"My birthday is on the 10 October, do you know what else happened on that day?" Naruto said and asked, so Hinata thought about it, only one event corresponded to a birthday with Naruto.

"The Kyuubi attack." Hinata replied starting to feel some fear leak out of her best friend.

"Right, I was born on that day in this place" Naruto stated before he chuckled. "on that bed you sitting on actually." Hinata's eyes widened and she was gonna jump off but Naruto shook his head and said one thing.

"Relax." Hinata did and Naruto continued. " My mother originally was not from Konoha, she came from another village that was allied with Konoha. The village hidden in whirlpool home of the Uzumaki clan." Hinata just listened she was learning more about Naruto she had questions but decided to remain silent and listen they might get answered along the way.

"She was brought into Konoha for a reason, a dark and unforgivable reason, why the Uzumaki had agreed I don't know but not long after they were all killed in an attack on their home." Naruto's hand was squeezing hers tight now in anger and Hinata tried not to whimper but couldn't stop herself Naruto's eyes widened ready to let her pull away but she quickly grabbed on.

"It's okay, please continue." Hinata told him with a small smile to show him she was okay.

"Sorry." Naruto said with a sigh and Hinata nodded.

"You think the Uzumaki Clan deserves what happened don't you." Hinata stated and Naruto nodded before realizing she couldn't see so replied verbally.

"Yes….." Hinata looked at Naruto and removed a hand from his and placed it on his cheek rubbing his whiskers with a thumb.

"You cannot blame the whole village for the act of a few Naruto-Kun, such decisions are politically motivated so only the people in important positions within a village could have known and decided to send your mother away." Hinata explained slowly as Naruto balled his fists in anger.

"H-how could, how could they do that to a little girl Hinata, how could they just decide to ruin a person's life without a second thought." Naruto asked and Hinata felt a pang in her chest that quickly turned to anger when she felt moisture on her thumb which was rubbing Naruto's cheeks.

"They sent her here to use her, a-and after they were done they discarded her away like a rusted kunai. Her name wasn't even added to the memorial stones forgotten just like that!" Naruto was screaming and was balling his fist In anger again hurting Hinata once more but she hid it better now she would for him to finish.

"I was lucky they were too lazy to clear out the ninja archives or I would have never known her name and after finding her name the rest were quicker to find. Like the fact, another Uzumaki had been around before my mother a Mito Uzumaki she was the wife of the 1st Hokage." Hinata noticed how the tears had stopped and now Naruto looked solemn, afraid even.

"Mito Uzumaki was the first human sacrifice of the village hidden in the leaves, the second was my mother Kushina Uzumaki and the latest is me Naruto Uzumaki." Hinata was confused, by what Naruto meant by human sacrifice then she heard him chuckle a hollow laugh.

"I feel scared…." Naruto admitted looking at Hinata. " I know I can always trust you to have my back but this secret gives me doubts." Hinata grabbed Naruto and brought his head into her chest and held him tight as she ran her hand through his spiky mane.

"You don't ever have to be afraid of losing me Naruto-Kun because I will always be with you." Hinata whispered gently. "You are my best friend, you were the one to get me out of my darkness, thought me how to have fun, and support me throughout my illness so much it doesn't even bother me anymore. "Hinata then raised Naruto's head so he could face her as she held his cheeks in both hands and mushed them up. Naruto noticed she too had tears in her eyes.

"Please let me be able to return the favor Naruto-Kun." She begged softly, Naruto blinked and then he smiled as he stood up straight and kiss Hinata on the cheeks.

"The fourth Hokage did not kill the Kyuubi no kitsune, tailed beasts are a mass of chakra given form and sentience. Chakra cannot be killed, only manipulated or sealed." Naruto raised his black shirt and took Hinata's hand placing it on his abdomen above the naval and pushed chakra into the area revealing the seal though Hinata couldn't see it.

"When Madara Uchiha attacked the village with the nine-tailed fox under its control Mito Uzumaki sealed the fox into herself and became the first human sacrifice of the Kyuubi." Naruto said and Hinata gasped dreading what came next.

"When Mito Uzumaki became too old to hold the nine tail because if she died with it still sealed within her it would escape its prison. My mother was brought in from whirlpool to become its second container." Hinata placed her hands in front of her mouth as she openly cried for her best friend.

"When my mother was giving birth to me here something happened and the fox was released but not here. The fox was released in the middle of Konoha that smells of foul play" Naruto grounded out in anger if Hinata was not blind she would have noticed that Naruto's whiskers were thicker and darker, his pupils were red and slit and his canines had elongated.

"Please calm down Naruto-Kun, you starting to feel different." Hinata did not need her sight to know what was happening to her best friend at that moment, the bloodlust he was leaking was not his own.

"Sorry." Naruto said with an apologetic chuckle and Hinata felt the changes recede she reached out for his face and he brought it into her hand and she rubbed it with love.

"Can you continue please Naruto-Kun?" She asked him gently and felt him nod.

"When I was younger living in the orphanage I always had two different kinds of nightmares, one where giant trees were sprouting around everywhere attacking me I could never hear anything except for a deep grave voice that kept repeating 'damn you Uchiha's'". Naruto said lost in thought as he recalled the dreams.

"The second dream I kept seeing flashes of yellow and I think I saw a giant frog, no a giant toad for a second and there as well the voice said one thing 'damn you Uchiha's'" Hinata listened and tried to do the math on what the dream could mean.

"You think, you were seeing glimpses of the Kyuubi's memories of his fights against The 1st and 4th Hokage?" Hinata asked trying not to sound skeptical.

"I know it sounds far-fetched but think about it his sealed within me what if we have a mental link and somehow I can see glimpses of his dreams though it has been years since I've had them." Naruto tried to use logic to explain it to Hinata and she nodded in understanding of what he was trying to get across.

"You believe an Uchiha was the one who caused the incident 12 years ago?" Hinata asked and Naruto nodded. "Do you think it's Madara Uchiha?" Hinata asked and got an uncaring shrug from Naruto.

"Doesn't matter, whoever they are they will pay." He promised darkly and Hinata mentally promised herself she would be there to help.

"So the fourth Hokage sealed the fox inside you because your mother was its container first?." Hinata questioned and Naruto looked angry at the mention of the man.

"What, I couldn't hear Naruto-Kun" Hinata said confused because she didn't hear what the blonde had said.

"I said I don't know why, maybe it's because I'm his son." Hinata gapped at Naruto and could only make one coherent word.

"Wow…" Hinata said in awe and Naruto rolled his eyes flicking her nose.

Hinata sat at the gates of the Hyuga compound deep in thought. She felt so many emotions run through her that in the end, she chose to ignore them all and just think.

Naruto told her about his heritage, his burden, and his fears of losing those closest to him if his secret ever came out and they couldn't accept him. He told her his actual goals for the future.

To find out who was responsible for his mother getting sent to Konoha, and why nothing was done to help her village when it was attacked. He also told her that he planned on taking over Konoha and turning it into the new whirlpool village and would call it 'whirlpool now hidden in the leaves.' Hinata had giggled at the name and he got angry asking what was so funny while she replied the name was 'cute'.

She also found out about his side dealings and to say Hinata was shocked would be an understatement. The so-called Nara that had been on the police force raider for 6 years was Naruto she had laughed hard and told him he was incredible.

And Naruto in relief that Hinata wasn't about to discard him like a paper plate at a party had hugged her and filled her face with so many kisses some had even touched the corners of her lips. Hinata blushed as she remembered those particular kisses and placed a hand on the spot.

She shook her head to get it out of the clouds when she realized that she was thinking of another person's boyfriend. She sighed in defeat and sadness which quickly faded as she remembered she knew some things about Naruto that even Ino did not know.

So getting up she walked down to her sleeping quarters, she could sense her little sister Hanabi spying on her behind some trees and Hinata smiled.

" I have some Cinnamon rolls here Hanabi-Chan, it's a bit much do you mind helping me out with them?."Hinata called out as she stopped and got on her knees offering her back to her younger sister in hiding.

After a few seconds, Hinata felt her little sister climb on her back and Hinata got the mischievous glint in her eyes Naruto usually does when he was ready to prank you out of your mind so bending her legs in a squat Hinata charged chakra to her feet and made a mighty chakra enhanced jump.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" Hanabi screamed in shock and fear as she hugged her sister tighter interlocking her legs around her waist, but once they reached the peak of their jump and Hanabi could see the view of the Hyuga compound and outside the compound, Hanabi began laughing in delight.

"Again, again!" Hanabi said between giggles and Hinata obliged repeating the process but this time adding a spin in the jump so Hanabi could get a 360-degree view of the compound, the two girls played like that until the evening before sitting down on the grass and eating their deserts.

In the corner of a Hyuga house, Hiashi watched the scene with a fatherly smile that did nothing to hide the shame and guilt in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Hanabi for taking your sister away from you and I'm sorry Hinata for taking away your chance to be a big sister and see little Hanabi grow. Please forgive me." Hiashi whispered to the two girls out of hearing range as he walked off.

Hinata looked over to where she could feel her father's chakra signature retreating and she sighed before taking another roll and taking a bite.

"Mmh this is so good!" Hanabi exclaimed happily and Hinata smiled.

"I know right?" She said with a smile and Hanabi smiled back at her nodding vigorously.

"Hey, gaki!" Naruto looked around he was in the red light district heading home so he wondered who would be calling him." Hey over here!" Looking at where the voice had come from Naruto groaned as if two Uchiha's wasn't enough now there was another one. "It's me Shisui!" The man said as he ran up to Naruto with a grin on his face as he waved his hand above his face.

"I know who you are Shisui-San." Naruto told the man investigating him though the man wouldn't know that.

"Ohh yeah." Shisui said with a chuckle rubbing under his nose with a finger.

"What do you want Shisui-San?" Naruto asked the man.

"I need a favor," the man said and at Naruto's raised brow he continued. "It's a very important favor." He explained.

"I don't know about favor ay, I don't do those but I can do you a solid." Naruto grinned at the man and Shisui grinned back.

"How about an exchange then?" Shisui offered and Naruto thought about it before shrugging.

"What's in it for me?" He asked and Shisui raised his hands in front of Naruto's face.

"Woah Woah Woah, hold your horses gaki you didn't even hear my favor." Shisui said with a belly laugh. "Gaki's these days, always so eager." He teased and Naruto walked away.

"Hey wait, I was kidding I was kidding." Shisui said running up to the boy and grabbing his wrist. "Look if you'll do me that solid I'll teach you some cool moves." Shisui offered while wiggling his brows at Naruto.

"I don't think there's anything you can teach me that my sensei can't teach me. He is Itachi after all." Shisui looked at Naruto funny before laughing.

"Hahahahah haha haha haha hahaha hahaha hahahagah haaaaaaaaa hahahahahaha." People stopped and started then moved on "Who do you think thought Itachi everything he knows? Hell who do you think he copied his signature crows from?" He asked after his laugh had subsided.

Naruto's eyes widened at that, this comedian was stronger than Itachi? No way he couldn't buy it, he wouldn't buy it, it was just boasting.

"I don't believe you." He simply said and Shisui smirked confidently at him.

"How about a little spar, I win you do me that solid and I'll teach you anything you want to learn for 2 weeks." Shisui grinned. " If I lose I'll give you a Sharingan eye and implant it for you then you can be cool like Kakashi."He promised and Naruto looked at his raised pinky and shook his head before raising his own and interlocking with his.

"Deal just keep your eyes I don't want to catch the Uchiha pocks," Naruto said and Shisui blinked before laughing at the backhanded comment.

"Okay, Gaki let's go to a training ground so I can kick your ass!" Shisui said as he grabbed Naruto and body flickered along with him.

"Here we are." Shisui said letting go of Naruto who wobbled on his feet and covered his mouth with a hand as he ran to a bush and released the content of his stomach.

"Oops…." Shisui said realizing not everybody was used to traveling the Shisui way. Giving Naruto some time to catch his breath and scold him cursing his name and family name down to before Madara Uchiha's grandfather Shisui finally got the chance to explain 'Such an active imagination for swearing.' Shisui thought with a blush.

"We'll since you're done now." Shisui coughed into his hand to clear his mind of the images Naruto had placed there of how his grandparents conceived his father he continued. " The match will go like this, you will have 15 minutes to try and land a hit on me and I will defend myself with my hands tied behind my back." Shisui turned around and Naruto blinked as the man's hands were well tied up.

"What the fuck?" Naruto asked and Shisui winked at him.

"Not important, ReadySetGo!!" Shisui grinned and waited as Naruto stood there looking like a chicken with its head off. " what are you waiting for I said start." Shisui told him and Naruto made an 'O' shape with his mouth.

Drawing a kunai from his pouch he jumped forward and once a few feet away from Shisui he let it fly. The Uchiha didn't move and Naruto's eyes widened when the projectile flew right through him.

Naruto landed in front of the image and turned around to see where Shisui had gone thinking what was in front of him was a basic clone technique. Until he felt a kick sweep his legs from under him and he fell on his side, quickly rolling away he looked back at the Shisui and saw the boy had a hard time trying to stifle his laughter.

"Multiple shadow clone Jutsu!" In many puffs of smoke, 50 Naruto clones appeared surrounding the original, a batch of 10 clones attacked Shisui first and the man weaved through their punches and kicks with ease.

A leg sweep was dodged by the raising of the targeted foot which was then brought down to break the offending clone's leg dispelling it. The jab to the rib from another clone was used as a stepping platform to aim and kick that clone's head off dispelling it. The teamwork of three clones was used to dispel themselves when attacking from three different angles with kunai they went right through Shisui's form and instead impaled each other.

Another clone came at Shisui and once in front of him dispelled itself blinding the man with the smoke screen it created not a second later another clone came from under only to dispel himself as well another came from the left and another from the right also dispelling themselves then came one from up top who tried attacking only for Shisui's hand to flash to its neck and snap it like a twig dispelling it.

"Mmmm 10 down and 1,2,3,4,5…………" Shisui counted each clone and nodded "40 left so I guess your leader is hiding somewhere." Shisui said doing the come here motion with his feet Since his hands were tied the clones made a battle cry and attacked, this time 20 came at him, and in the 3 minutes tops those clones were gone too.

'How is he doing that?' Naruto thought as he watched a clone go right through Shisui only for Shisui to kick the clone into another and dispel them. 'Is it a Justus, but his not making any hand seals does that mean it's not a jutsu? maybe something the to do with the Sharingan.' He wonders.

'No not a Sharingan.' Naruto thought as he received the memory of a clone that got dispelled. ' His eyes haven't changed yet with such an ability I'm sure he is famous around the elemental nations. his monicker is body flicker Shisui.' Naruto's eyes widened in realization.

'His using the body flicker to dodge my attacks but because he is dodging with minimum movement and maximum velocity it looks like my clones are going right through him.' Naruto grinned as he thought the technique was cool.

"I give up!" Naruto cried out coming out of hiding while dispelling his clones. "You win man your too good for me to take on." Naruto complained passionately but the greed in his eyes couldn't be hidden even from Hinata.

"I'll do the favor but your gonna teach me how to body flicker like that."Naruto demanded rubbing his hands together while salivating at the prospect and all the avenues that variation of the body flicker technique would open for him.

"You figured out what my technique is?" Shisui asked in bewilderment.

"Of course, I did you 'killed' me like 50 times with it." Naruto told him with a dismissive wave of his hands "Now what did you want?" Naruto asked the Uchiha Investigator.

"Well, I want you to go on an undercover mission for me." Naruto blinked and it clicked, he wanted to laugh.

"Why me?" He instead asked.

"We'll you stay in the red light district you seemed like the most obvious choice and you seem a capable sneaky bastard," Shisui explained.

"Who am I spying on?" He asked though he already knew the answer.

"I'll tell you about it tomorrow after your D-rank mission but this is a secret mission so no going around using it to pick up girls." Shisui said seriously and Naruto nodded seriously as well.

"Teach me!" Naruto demanded with arms and a big smile that threatened to cut his face down the middle. Shisui laughed and agreed.

"But first can you untie me?" He requested with a grin of his own that threatened to cut his face in two.

Some plot build up. Some naruhina moment some Hinahana sibling moment. Some Shisui Naruto interactions and well yeah...

Next chapter Naruto goes undercover into his own dealings laughing behind the scene at Shisui and his team. And the beginning of the wave arc...I wonder what will happen to Zabuza and Haku at the end of that arc
