Ha, for once, I remembered!
Sorry, we've been so scattered, I've just not been in a good place for a while and don't know how to shake it. It's been very infuriationg.
-Twisted
Oh yeah-
She grins as she pours more of her flames against the stone.
-she could totally get how Uma had the confidence to take down three sharks on whatever the hell made Rush.
It was worth the awful taste and the slight nausea.
This!
She couldn't remember the last time using her fire had been so exhilarating.
Or the melting of rock so swift, as if her flames were melting butter.
She was nearly bursting with energy.
But not the nervous kind she was familiar with.
She laughs happily as she loosens her rigid control of her fire, letting it blast full force like she never had before.
Not even in Dragon Hall's library.
As much as she wanted to find the spring hidden somewhere within the stone walls-
She wanted to fulfill Faustina's request more.
She'd thought the idea had been selfish.
Self-serving.
But then Faustina suggested it during their walk to the galley, taking her completely off guard.
That was so not the direction she'd expected their conversation to take.
Surprised in all the best of ways.
Like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders.
And then she'd gotten one of Faustina's precious vials of her new tonic.
Which, woah. Was this what high felt like?
If it was, she could understand why some people chased the feeling.
She certainly felt different, but different in all the best kinds of ways.
Like, she could not only find the hidden source of water but-
Also start and complete a new flute for her Night.
She was kicking herself for thinking she was the only one lamenting its soft melodies.
And Father only knew Gil had to miss it fiercely-
Not that he would bother her with asking.
It would seem none of them were ever comfortable asking for what they desired, short of setting down rules to ensure each other's safety-
And sure it was for their peace of mind-
But it was also for the safety of those they cared about.
Which didn't really count-
At least not in her mind.
Go figure, she was no better than Faustina feeling selfish about being able to return to her work with her herbs.
She giggles.
She could kiss Faustina for all of her contributions tonight.
Especially Rush.
Definitely Rush.
She smiles when she hits another pocket of sand.
Time to switch projects again.
"My Lion, I was simply saying that when it comes to your assumptions on me and T, perhaps you should think of the things you are guilty of as well. From withholding secrets, to conspiring, and being an overall hypocrite. It doesn't suit you." She offers as she measures out the ingredients to the serum, already having started a double batch of Rush.
"I-" Gil flusters, "I wasn't judgin'."
Liar.
She turns back to him, "just making casual observations then?"
"I mean, it ain't like he ain't been caught enough in 'em." He crosses his arms.
"Because T is an authentic person, who, much like you, often has words pop out of his mouth before he thinks them through." She explains as she turns back to her work.
"I-" Gil's eyes narrow thoughtfully, "thank you?"
"It was a compliment, I much enjoy your genuine nature. You're a very protective, nurturing, kind person. One whom I hold in high esteem." She continues as she smiles over her shoulder.
He shifts, as if to hike himself up to sit on the edge of the table, but freezes before he looks around and slowly lowers his feet back to the ground.
"Sorry," she offers, "I've never had so much space to work with, I can't help but to utilize such a precious gift."
"No. I ain't complainin', honest." Gil winces as he rubs the back of his head, "I jus' don't wanna mess anything up for ya. I'm kinda big. And your stuff looks delicate and dangerous."
"As much as I do appreciate your care-" She reaches across to grab a beaker from the shelf before she studies and slams it to the ground.
Gil huffs, "yeah, I know it ain't really gonna break, but the stuff inside is important, and like, I don't wanna spill or anything."
"If you were about to sit where you shouldn't have, I promise my Lion, I would have stopped you." She smiles, "I'd say good luck breaking the stone, but you've grown quite strong, and I'm not sure it wouldn't crumble under the right conditions."
Gil grins boyishly as he flexes his arms, "blacksmithing is pretty awesome."
She chuckles, "we really are thrilled you took to it so well. You've always been so dedicated and have always had a natural affinity for the arts."
"Hey Angel," Gil tilts his head as he once again braces and pulls himself up to sit on the edge of the table.
She turns at the abrupt shift, "yes, my Lion?"
"Ya said T's like me an' things just pop outta his mouth too, right?"
She nods, "mostly when he's worried or at a loss at what to do, but yes."
"Is that why he was so good at figurin' out ways ta keep me outta trouble?"
Her lips twitch, "Idle hands are the devil's workshop." She explains, "you were too bright to sit around senselessly, you and I are similar in that way. T was constantly supplying me with new interests and encouraging my growth. It was his way of keeping us out of trouble."
"Huh." Gil frowns thoughtfully before he grins, "I like that. You're so smart, it's nice to think I'm kinda like you."
"Gil," She frowns as she turns to him, "I'm sorry for what the past has made you think of yourself, but you are one of the most keen, insightful people I know." She hesitantly reaches out to take his hand, "just because my interests lay more in scholarly pursuits doesn't mean you're insipid, it seemingly means you have no interest."
It was amazing with how big Gil was, that he could suddenly seem so small, "what's insipid?"
"Sorry," Her cheeks heat up, "it means I don't feel you are simple, dull, or boring. Your skills just more in lie with creative genius. I know they're rare, but I always find our one on ones quite enlightening as you provide perspectives I've never considered." She snorts, "and mind you, the only whole books I had for the longest while were the bible and a dictionary."
"That sounds boring." Gil grimaces before he holds his free hand up, "I mean, when that's all ya got an' all." He drags a hand down his face,
"Don't get me wrong, both of those books are quite boring compared to most other literature, but it did expand my vocabulary to better articulate what I'm trying to impart-Though," she sighs, "I can only imagine it's rather obnoxious and seems arrogant at times."
"Nah, I'm with Deez. Ya talk pretty when I can hear ya, even if I don't always know all the words."
Her face burns hotter, "I'm finding myself rather challenged at the moment. The five of you were overwhelming, seven of you is… formidable."
Gil snorts, "but you can yell at a god without flinching?"
She huffs, "when the God is being a complete and utter asshole and unheeding of my warnings, yes."
"Whoa, I ain't complaining," Gil holds up both hands, "just, I don't think you give yourself enough credit."
"Do any of us?" She shrugs as she turns back to check Yensid's formula.
"No, but you deflect any time someone points it out with you."
Flames lick at her ears as she shifts.
Well, there was no deflecting that chastisement.
"You're actually really good at it." Gil admits with a huff, "an' sometimes I think Treasure picks things like that up from you."
"I highly doubt that when she has so many other role models to emulate."
Gil snorts, "and sure, she learns things from them. From us. But the deflection? It got worse when she and T started hanging out more."
She adds more oil to the mixture, "T is renowned for keeping things to his chest, and not without reason. With our father being who he was-He was rather embarrassed and ashamed about it- Not that any of you had it any easier. Everyone's parents came with their own difficulties. But when everyone started skirting the church," She shrugs, "then with his desire to protect me, and his naivety due to being locked away so long, it just made more sense to stay silent."
Gil falls silent, lightly swinging his legs as he braces the palms of his hands against the smooth surface of the table behind his back.
"It took him," she pauses, "both of us, years to realize others held concern and worry for him. It wasn't something he was seeking. He was already used to being a no one, the only time father ever paid him mind was when-" she stops.
No.
Not only were the memories confusing now that she knew they were one.
There was no need to impart how badly Father's punishments could be. Or how far they would go.
"His main focus, our focus-reason for living, was to make everyone I'd taken interest in as safe and content, if not happy, as one could be here." She tilts her head, "for the longest time, T did everything in his power to give me some light to believe in. Even now, he puts a majority of my needs before his own."
"Yeah." Gil purses his lips to the side, "that's how T used to be. Always dropping in with one crazy idea or another," his smile slowly fades, "I miss that, ya know? How much he could make anything sound like a good idea."
She sighs, "T has been out of his element since joining the four of you. After everything with Father, he lost sight of himself. His confidence. The self-worth that had been so hard won. It was a staggering loss, and one we both paid the price for. Something that I'm sure still haunts him."
"Ya know, it ain't really a weakness to be helpless with yer parent. Deez is, like, the strongest person we know, but you're the only one who can stand up to her father."
She sighs, "it was the first time he'd ever failed me, and I think it made him question everything about who he is."
Gil rubs the back of his head, "actually, I think I get that. I hated every time I failed Uma, or Harry. An' then when I started feeling really protective of Deez-" he lets his air out in a whoosh, "it hurt every time I couldn't keep her safe. Couldn't stop her dad from dragging her back to that small, dark place he made her live in. Couldn't protect her from the spiral she'd go in inside her head."
She fists her shirt over her chest as it starts to ache, "I can see the correlation." She sighs as she reaches over and squeezes his knee. "It makes sense, as failing someone you love is an inevitability at one turn or another. No one is right all the time. Mistakes happen. You can't be everywhere. And some challenges, as with Lord Hades, are insurmountable."
"Yeah," Gil sniffs, "makes sense, but don't make it hurt less." he rubs his hand over his face, "sorry I've been unfair about things."
"My dear Lion, it's been one thing after another, and I know my brother is difficult to sway in his beliefs once they've been founded."
"It must be bad, though, if both you and Treasure are constantly telling me that I'm being unfair. Like ya said, hypocritical."
Her lips twitch as she finally looks up and cups Gil's face, "My Lion, none of us are any less hypocritical, it seems to be a defining family trait. As for your observations of T, as frustrating as it is, you sometimes-Well, most of the time, need to understand he's driven by his code just like the rest of us. And unfortunately, due to my error, his self-proclaimed jurisdiction is far more vast than most." She offers as she thumbs away a tear. "It's not that I believe you dislike him, but it's easy to understand how easy it is to become frustrated with him."
Gil's hands cup the back of hers, "he's my brother. Even when we get mad or frustrated at each other, we figure it out. Usually I push him in the water."
"Which he takes delight in."
"I figured, since he always comes up laughin'." Gil sighs, "I'll remember that T's morals are, um, more jurisdicted?" He sighs again as he drops his hands.
She tilts her head, "Sorry, territory. That was rude. He claims more territory, and perceives those within it under his protection."
"Oh, yeah, I can remember that. Easier now that we're all kind of doing that."
She smiles, "I'm glad to hear that." She stands on her toes and kisses his cheek before she settles again, "as for the delight thing- I think it may be the only-"
She pauses when she hears wheezing at the door, "Deez?"
She jumps out of Gil's way as the much larger boy rushes past her with a burst of speed that T would envy. "Your sprinting has improved since she's joined your family, at least." She shakes her head as she joins them, Deez already tucked protectively in his arms.
"I, I didn't pass out in lava!" Deez's hand taps against Gil's chest like the flutter of a bat wing, "I came back. When not, I took care."
Gil shakes his head, but his grin belies his exasperation, "Thanks, Treasure." He nuzzles her hair. "Now, let's try breathing?"
"K." She takes a deep breath, but then immediately falls limp as her eyes close.
"Don't fret, my dear Lion, Captain had a similar response when Rush finished cycling her system."
Gil looks between them with a frown, "but you're working on that?" He asks slowly.
She nods, "It is my goal to prevent this potent of a crash."
Gil nods, "cool. Priority, maybe please?"
"When I am able to return to my work, I swear it will be of utmost priority."
"Right," Gil blinks before he nods, "cause T has to go out with the group to search for the Isle Borns."
She nods. "He knows the Isle better than most," she chuckles, "except for the one in your arms, of course."
"Ugh," Gil grimaces, "don't remind me of that game."
She pats his back, "that game is going to give us an edge that I doubt the enemy will suspect, don't disparage it."
"You weren't the one hiking all over the Isle when they vanished, hoping they'd just forgotten to mention they were playing."
"I do imagine that was quite frightening and an ungodly amount of work."
Gil sighs, "to be fair, I really wish that had been what happened."
She drops her eyes, "yes, well, as Jafar is nowhere to be seen, let's just appreciate the fact we were reunited."
"Oh, cause Jafar's a genie?"
She nods with a smile, "and on the bright side, I doubt I ever would have been able to meet any of you if things, unfortunate circumstances or not, had played out any differently. Something of which I would never exchange."
"Can't argue finally finding my Angel." Gil chuckles as he holds Deez tighter.
She smiles brightly, "I still can't believe you remember that."
"Like I would ever forget the sweetest girl telling me I was pretty and then finding me boy clothes, so I would feel better. I really thought you were, like, my guardian angel."
She laughs as she wraps an arm around him, careful not to disturb Deez. "Still, so much irony in that."
Gil crinkles his brow, "why's it ironic?"
She glances up at him, "Angel's are pure."
"So was someone wanting to help me for nothin'."
"But I did want something," she steps back, "I wanted to interact with someone who wasn't my brother or a hand shoving food through a door. I was just very fortunate it was someone as kind as you."
"That's still nothin'."
"To me it was everything."
Gil grins as he nods once, "see, pure."
She stares at him for a moment before her lips curve into a smile, "I think I can handle that conception. Thank you for thinking so much of me, my Lion."
She smiles, warmth pooling in her chest as he places a hand on top of her head.
"Finally." He grins.
"I do suppose you are owed some time to be smug about it." She teases.
"Thank you."
"Oh good, she made it to you." Yensid nods as he walks in, one hand tucked against his chest as if carrying something in the sleeve of his robes, "I could barely understand her when she rushed past, other than she'd found the water and couldn't sleep in lava."
That sounded like her Star Gazer.
Nearly running over an old mage to assuage their Lion before he could roar.
"She found the water?" Gil asks as he looks down at Deez.
Her gaze joins Gil's, "that's excellent news."
"Even better news," Yensid continues as he holds up a test tube filled with clear liquid, "She remembered to collect this, and I was able to sample it. It's fresh water."
"How fortuitous, this will certainly make things easier for the ship while most of us are on the Isle."
"Indeed." Yensid smiles before he shifts his robes, "there's one more thing."
"Oh?" Gil's eyes brighten, "is it good too?"
She nods, but doesn't hold her breath.
Nice things didn't typically come in pairs.
"I believe so," Yensid chuckles lightly as he pulls a set of glass tubes from his sleeve, "she certainly seemed happy with it."
"She finished it?" She asks in awe, once more finding herself surprised by the efficiency Rush seemed to bring out in others.
"Is- Is that what I think it is?"
"Only if you are thinking it is a familiar instrument."
She thoroughly enjoys watching the stages of Gil's expression as he stares at his newly made pan flute, but interrupts when it seems to finally settle, quickly standing on her toes to press a finger against his lips. "Though I doubt it would wake her, I'd rather you not feel like an ass."
Gil blushes as he nods his head, "thank you."
She nods, "do you mind?" She asks as she holds her hand out for the flute, "he needs to put her to bed, and he does rather seem to prefer securing her tightly."
Yensid chuckles, "of course."
"Thanks." Gil grins sheepishly, "can you tell Uma an' Harry that we're sleeping in the next room?"
Yensid nods, "I was about to see how their tasks were coming along, it would be my pleasure to pass that on to them." He eyes the workroom before his eyes settle on her, "would it be rude to assume you will not be retiring with them?"
She chuckles, "It would not, I still have a lot to accomplish before tomorrow."
Her time-out had been sweet while it had lasted-
And she had every intention of utilizing every single second available before they'd insist she yield.
Because she'd be damned before T stepped foot on the Isle without the serum.
Not when it could save them time, energy, or resources.
Not when two of the people she loved the most, and two more she cared for deeply, were going to be putting themselves at risk.
He pushes his sweat soaked hair out of his face as he looks around the pool cave.
This sword sparring session worked out exactly the way he'd planned.
He and Uma knew each other's strengths and weaknesses when it came to a fight.
Same with James, though Uma had less experience with him.
Beam obviously knew how to keep himself safe, and how to protect others as well. Else he wouldn't have been the leader of the urchins.
But getting to see the three of them in action-
He knew it helped to ease some of Uma's anxiousness.
Some.
It would have helped more to see how the four of them worked together.
He felt torn, wishing T could have joined them for this spar, while knowing it would have meant Faustina losing time to work on her herbs and sea gods only knew what else at this point.
And, more selfishly, he knew it would have meant saying goodbye sooner.
He was starting to understand why others called him a poor bastard.
One of his very best mates and the girl he loved shared the same body.
He'd never get them at the same time, well, his lip twitches, not in real life anyway.
The sketches Faustina made were priceless. Better than any fortune a pirate could desire.
She'd looked so hesitant when he'd asked her if she could-
So he'd been shocked to wake up to so many scenarios of the six of them depicted, so authentically, it was almost more of a captured memory.
An unexpected gift. Just like his girl.
"Who said we're stoppin'?" Beam challenges from behind him.
"Ain'nah no one sayin' that," he shakes the mood off as he blocks Beam's sword with a cross of his sword and hook, "but thanks fer the warning ."
He'd really gotten in his head.
"Actually, I'm sayin' it." Uma sheathes her sword and coils her whip, "can't have you all worn out when you leave. Everyone rack out, we'll eat together before you set out."
"Aye," he nods as he stows his hook and sheaths his sword.
As much as he'd enjoyed this, getting to sleep with Faustina was what he'd been looking forward to since their feast.
"Aye, Cap." James swipes his sword through the air a few times before he balances it on his hand, "Gil really knows how ta make weapons, thanks for lendin' me Jay's."
"An' Carlos's is sick, it's like dagger weight and sword reach all in one."
"Aye, Book Club be workin' real hard ta make the best metals, an' our boy Gil is really good at matchin' styles."
"Can't wait to see what he does for us, eh Wingman?" Beam smirks as his blade sings through the air to slide across James's blocking sword.
"Ya ain't wrong." James chuckles. "But, why Wingman?"
"Eh." Beam shrugs as he jumps back a step to block James, "yer always enforcin' the Captain's orders."
He looks over when Uma clears her throat, and was suddenly very glad he'd already put his weapons away.
If looks could kill, James and Beam would have been sleeping with the fishes.
"Right. Done fer the night." James grimaces as he puts his sword away
Beam taps two fingers to his forehead, "aye, aye Kraken."
"You guys heading back to the ship?" He asks as Uma walks up beside him, easily slipping under his arm as he pulls her into his side.
Beam snorts, "ship every time, I've spent enough time sleepin' on outside, thanks."
James nods, "Ship, wanna make sure things be runnin' smooth." He grins sheepishly.
"Same," Uma nods before she presses a hand to his chest, "but I'll swim back before sleepin'."
"Aye," he nods as he let's her go, "don'nah be forgettin' your flamin' pearls, it be late."
Uma smiles, "like I'd swim in the dark without them."
"What type ah first mate would I be if I didn't be makin' sure?"
"Aye, guess that's true." Uma smiles as she pats his shoulder, "go make sure they're all sleepin', I'll be back soon."
He nods before she joins Beam and James near the dingy.
Easy order to follow.
He turns and begins navigating the tunnels, knowing Faustina would be in her workroom.
With any luck, he'd get a few moments alone with her.
He smiles when he walks in and finds Faustina bent over a notebook.
It was so peaceful, watching her hum as her pencil feathered across the page. Seeing her utterly focused on whatever it was she was drawing.
He tilts his head.
Peaceful wasn't usually a word he associated with this room.
Frantic.
Organized chaos.
Dangerous.
Those were usually his first thoughts.
He looks around the room in confusion before he realizes there were no flames.
Nothing cooking.
Bubbling.
Steaming.
All the makeshift rock tables were clear, and the shelves along the back of the cave were neatly organized.
Ah. She'd finished then.
He walks to the back wall curiously, noting her handwritten signs labeling all her vials, tins, and clay jars.
Ointment.
Sleep Draught.
Rush.
Venom.
Venom Distillate.
Color Bombs.
Toxic Bombs.
K.O. Essence.
Death Blow Essence.
Water Contaminant.
Webbing.
His eyes narrow.
KO had to be the stuff T kept knocking him out with.
But Death Blow?
He shudders at the memory of the man who'd taken that dart.
The cry of agony.
The black web that slithered under his skin, spreading from the entry wound.
The pink foam that frothed out of his mouth.
His hands ball into fists at his side before he relaxes them.
The convulsions.
He exhales slowly.
All of which happened in under a minute.
Mere seconds.
He shakes his head.
How many projects had she been working on?
He shakes his head, frowning as he continues to search the darkened room.
He pauses when he finds several bulging burlap sacks laid out neatly on the table furthest from the entrance, fighting the urge to upend one.
What was in them?
His hand reaches for one, curiosity eating him alive, but stops when a slight glint catches his eye.
It was probably the only thing that saved him from himself, something shiny to be curious about.
He hesitantly picks up a long glass tube, one of many laying on the table.
He turns it over in his hands.
It was clearly a creation of Deez's. That was a given.
But what the hell was it for?
It was way too long for it to be a blow gun. And too wide.
And there weren't any holes, so it wasn't a new flute.
He frowns, unable to make head or tails of it in the darkness.
A shadow from the corner of his eye makes him yelp, the unexpected silhouette much closer than he'd like, given that he hadn't heard a single sound.
"Are you alright, my Prince?" Faustina inquires as she steps closer as she reaches forward.
He presses a hand to his chest, "Adelaide be teachin' ya ta walk silent like when I were'nah watchin'?"
She tilts her head as she frees his sword, "No, but that's something worth looking into."
"Ya don'nah be needin' help, promise. Ya be right scary with yer silence. Ya nearly be scarin' the hook outta me." His gaze drops to her hands at his belt, "um, I can'nah say I ain'nah bein' down for whatever ya be havin' in mind, but ya be okay, me Pirate Princess?"
She smiles as she nods, "Not quite where my mind is at, my Love."
Bats and sharks battle in his stomach at the word.
Love.
Had she ever said it like that?
My love.
He grins as he pulls her into a hug.
She giggles as she nuzzles against his shoulder, but refrains from returning it.
"I be likin' the way ya say that." He whispers as he nuzzles his nose into her hair, "so, what do ya be ah havin' in mind then?"
"I merely wished to sate your curiosity." She tilts her head up to kiss his jaw.
"That be ah dauntin' task," he looks out over the half wall of the cave, trying to restrain himself from attacking her neck, nipping her shoulder, or any of the hundreds of things he'd rather be doing with her in this moment, "an Uma be orderin' sleep, so I don'nah think there be time ta answer all me curiosities."
She nods, "I figured she'd be insistent about resting soon enough." She shrugs, "as for the bags, I wrote a brief description of each item along with a small drawing." She smiles up at him, "lest someone hurt themselves," she adds, before she kisses his neck and taps his shoulder. "I just meant to show you what caught your interest."
"Ah," he grins as he relaxes his hold, "aye, ya caught me snoopin'."
"Aye," she nods, "not that I mind. It's a rather nice feeling to have you show an interest in my work. Especially when it isn't something you'd normally care about." She takes the tube from his hand as she steps back, "I asked Deez to craft these for the four of you." She adds as she slides the sword into the tube, like a glass scabbard, before offering it back to him.
"Huh." He takes it and looks it over.
Deez and Gil were the ones to make his sword, so it didn't surprise him that it fit perfectly.
But-
"Why ah glass sheath?"
"A couple of reasons, the first being there is an abundance of material for our Star Gazer to utilize. Second because it was the only material the distillate didn't eat through."
"The what?"
Faustina's smile brightens, "I was able to further weaponize Adelaide's venom, that I secured in each of your bags." She gestures to the sacks on the table. "In case of an emergency."
He eyes the bag, "it gonna be doin' the same thing that happened in the square?"
She nods, "if nothing else, it might make others hesitate to pursue you."
"Ya ain'nah kiddin'."
Wow.
This was-
Well, knowing that he held the power to inflict that much pain on someone was-
He flexes his fingers several times.
But, this wasn't a game.
Their people were being taken to sea gods only knew where.
Isle Borns.
There were all each other's people now, no more ranks.
And also, no more rules.
So, if he needed to-
Emergency.
If it was an emergency, he would use it.
Because Faustina was looking out for them.
She had to have similar doubts when she first saw what Adelaide's venom could do.
Faustrina was practical, but not unfeeling.
He grins.
Faustina was making sure they'd always come back.
"Thank you." He yelps as he sweeps her into his arms and spins in place.
She giggles as she wraps her arms around his neck before she kisses him.
"Thank you for thinkin' o' all the things ta keep us safe." He continues after indulging in a long kiss.
A kiss he could only hope conveyed how amazing she was.
When she doesn't respond, he shifts to set her on the edge of the closet table, cupping her cheek in one hand as he stares into her eyes, "Faustina?"
"Mmm?" She murmurs softly as she leans into his touch.
"Did I be stealin' yer breath, me Pirate Princess?"
She blinks as he feels her cheek heat under his hand, "I've missed that."
"Oh?" He leans in and presses their lips together again.
Her arms wrap around his neck as she purrs happily.
Before he knows it, her hands are lightly scratching his neck and back as his fingers tangle in her hair.
And he wasn't sure who deepened the kiss at this point, because both of them were pulling the other closer, as if any air between them was painful.
And it was.
Desperately so.
He breaks the kiss only to trail them lightly down her throat.
He didn't want to think about tomorrow.
They would be ready for whatever was coming.
And he trusted the others to have his back, just like he'd have theirs.
He didn't want to think about Faustina being in the back of T's mind while they were out there.
Didn't want to acknowledge how dangerous this would be.
He didn't want this to be goodbye, even if it was only for now.
D on Rush is fucking beautiful-
As if she wasn't already an energizer bunny, but how adorable is she!?
So spaztic and all over the place-
It was absolutely just so D, in my opinion. Disagree? LMK, like seriously, I wanna know your thoughts.
And damn, two convo's of F/G in a row? I must've grumbled about that- Thank god for D showing up.
Hopefully you found the convo between F/G enlightening-
Do you agree with F's perspective on her brother? Or do you find it skewed?
Ah, Harry and Faustina had a minute. It's been a while since they were able to steal time to kiss like that-
Speaking of like that though-
Thoughts on F's creations?
She's made quite a few of them at this point. Not that it's hard to make poisons out of poisonous plants and a huge Spider's venom…
It's the other shit that was complicated which-
Thank god for D being a muse and her being a wielder or she never would've been able to manage that…
Speaking of where the fuck do you think F's magic came from?
And, on that note
