Chapter 13: Back to Sraivo

I was walking back to the police station with Potion, Boob and Horn wondering if this would be enough evidence to convince Sraivo. "I really hope this will be enough," I said. "With him back on the case, it could lead to finding out the motive and rescue Crystal from 6's evil clutches."

"That I do agree with," Boob replied.

"Same here," Potion agreed. "I really want to find my mom and give her a big hug."

"Don't worry," I said. "I will do everything in my power to find your mom Potion and to bring 6 to justice. That is a vow I took. Rescue the victim if there is one and bring the one responsible to justice.

"That is a great vow to go by," Horn agreed.

"Why thank you," I said. "Now we should save our talking for when we show Sraivo the new recorded evidence." The other three members agreed and made our way to the police station. We arrived but had to wait again as Sraivo was with another client. After a while, it was finally our turn to go in. I went in with Horn this time as Potion and Boob waited in the lobby.

"Ah," said Sraivo. "You've back detective. What brings you back?"

"Well," I answered. "I discovered who the villain is because they tried to burn us alive. I also managed to get a recording of their whole plan."

"Let's see that recording," said Sraivo. So I pulled out my phone and played the video. The video revealed to Sraivo who the villains were an their plan. "Well, I had a good feeling 6 was behind this. The only thing that I'm still stumped on now is the motive."

"Yeah," I replied. "I still haven't figured that out either but a great detective like myself will crack it."

"And you have people to help," said Horn.

"That is indeed true," I replied back. "So now Sraivo, is this enough evidence to make you change your mind and reopen the case?" Sraivo thought long and hard about his answer.

"Alright," answered Sraivo. "After seeing all of the evidence you have provided, I'm ready to say that I'm reopening this case and joining you."

"That is excellent news," I heard Boob say in the lobby. They were listening in on our meeting.

"Before we can reopen the case though," continued Sraivo. "We need to crack the motive. This will give us an idea in where to look next."

"Leave that to me and my team," I said. "We can have it cracked by the end of the week. I'm saying that to allow us some time to solve it because this one's hard."

"Alright," Sraivo agreed. "Come back here when you figure it out."

"Sounds good," said Horn. We walked out of Sraivo's office with Boob and Potion with pretend looks of not listening in.

"So," questioned Potion. "How did it go?"

"Great," I answered. "You should already know that Sraivo is in."

"How," questioned Potion.

"I know you two were listening in on us," I answered. "But before he joins, we need to crack 6's motive."

"Alright then," said Boob. "Let's get to it." So that's what we did next.

Mission success! Sraivo is in. Will we be able to solve the motive? Will anything else come into play? Will this lead to Crystal's whereabouts? Find out in the next chapter.
