Lloyd POV: I know that Kai was trying to make me feel better, but I couldn't help but worry about the others. Neither one of us knows how close the others were to the bombs and if they were in these tunnels too.

But we walked for a while, at this point I was pretty sure we were lost now, and we didn't see the others at all. Plus we were still just getting static on the comms still.

"Haven't we gone this way before?" Kai grumbled as we walked up to intersecting tunnels.

"Uh… maybe?" I said, and he groaned in response.

"How and why are these tunnels so confusing!" he practically yelled that and he leaned against the wall.

"I'm getting tired of going in circles too. There has to be an easier way out." I said, thinking about it.

Some of these tunnels were created by the Serpentine, but judging from the markings on the wall they didn't do these ones. So they won't lead to them, and we definitely won't have a map to follow.

I sighed and scratched my head and said, "This is not good."

"Oh really. I thought it was going perfectly." Kai responded, dripping in sarcasm.

I glared at him, "Well, if you have an idea of how we can get out of here I'm happy to hear it." He just shrugged.

"Maybe we can try to get a signal to Zane. He's probably using a booster by now. …And don't you have one too?" he said, glancing at me.

I didn't say anything and looked away. Of course I would forget about that thing. I patted my pockets and pulled it out.

"You forgot, didn't you?" he said, smirking.

"Of course not. I was… just testing you." I said and laughed nervously as I set it up.

After I got it hooked up and tapped the comm link, "Guys, can you hear me?"

It was static for a few moments before Zane responded, "Lloyd? Are you and Kai alright?" There was still some static, but at least I could hear him clearly. And I couldn't help but smile when I heard his voice, knowing he was okay.

"Yeah, we're fine. What about everyone else?" I asked, as Kai pushed himself from the wall.

"Yes. We got your warning in time, but where are you two?"

"In the tunnels under Ninjago, but we're having trouble getting out. Can't you track our location and find us?"

"Unfortunately I believe you guys are too far underground for that to work. But Borg has a new drone that we could use to quickly map the area."

"Great, see you guys soon then."

"See you soon. We're sending it now and-" He was trying to say something, but he got cut off. I checked the booster and found that the battery was dead.

Kai walked over and said, "That died really fast."

"Zane can look at it later. They're sending a drone down to find us." he looked confused.

"A drone? Where did they get a drone?" he asked.

"From Borg. And he said it would be quick, so…" I said, but I didn't know how fast it was going to be.

He was about to say something but then there was a loud beeping that got our attention. And right before one of us could say anything the drone came whirling towards us fast, with the scanners whirling around fast with extra lights flashing. It sped past us and nearly knocked me over until I jumped back a little.

"I'm guessing that was that drone. Zane wasn't lying when he said it would be quick." I commented, and looked at Kai.

He was frozen, staring after the drone and taking some quick breaths. And his eyes looked like they were a little glazed over.

"Kai?" I was confused and took a step towards him.

But then his eyes rolled back and he made a choking sound before falling to the ground, twitching and banging his head.

"Kai!" I yelled and ran to stabilize his head. I could tell he was having a seizure, and knew what to do thanks to Zane teaching me a little.

But it was still terrifying to watch.

I couldn't help the tears forming as I watched him twitch and shake as he made choking noises. I tried to comfort him without hurting him even though I was really worried and scared. It was hard to be gentle while keeping his head stable as it banged against my lap.

It took him a few minutes that felt like hours before he finally finished and took some deep breaths. I turned him to his side to help him breathe better. Though despite his good breathing he still didn't wake up right away. It took a few minutes before he finally opened his still glazed over eyes.

He moaned and tried to sit up, but I kept a grip on his shoulders just in case.

"Kai? Are you okay?" I asked, and I could hear my emotions in my voice.

"...yeah, what happened?" He responded, grabbing his head.

"Um… well, uh." I really don't know how to tell him when I don't know what caused it.

He looked at me, but he was clearly thinking hard about this. Then it clicked and stood up fast, even though he was really shaky.

I stood up too and said, "Kai?"

"No no no no. This can't be happening…" He said, starting to panic.

"Kai, take it easy." I grabbed his shoulders and made him look at me. He looked… scared and nervous.

"Calm down and tell me what's wrong." I said, gently.

He kind of calmed down, but now he just looked uncomfortable and shaky. I sighed and helped him sit down so he wouldn't fall over, taking a seat next to him. He was still clearly uncomfortable, but I didn't say anything. Mostly because I know that if I push he'll just push back.

"...You know, you can tell me anything that's bothering you. I promise I'll hear you out with anything, but you've got to talk to me so I can help you." I said, trying to sound open and caring.

But he still didn't say anything right away, and he was still clearly nervous. Finally he took a deep breath and whispered, "I… I have epilepsy."

It felt like everything I knew about him just shattered. I've never thought that he had anything like this, and the fact that I didn't know…

"For how long?" I asked, casually after seeing him facing the other way.

"...since I was six." I forced myself to not jump up.

"So Nya knows about… this." I said, but he shook his head.

"I never wanted to burden her like that."

"I'm sure she wouldn't see it that way. She loves you dude." I tried to convince him.

"I know, but she was so young at the time, and it just became natural over time to hide this from her… and everyone else." he responded, pulling his knees to his chest.

I sighed a little, because that is just like him. I lost count of all the times that we found him trying to cover injuries or the times we found on the bathroom floor still trying to say he was fine.

I was about to say something when we heard footsteps heading our way and Kai turned to me and said, "Please promise me that you won't say anything."

"But you just had one. You're going to need medical attention." But that made him panic a little.

"Please, Lloyd." He sounded and looked desperate.

"...Okay, I promise." I whispered.

He nodded and the others came around the corner. Nya immediately went up to Kai and asked, "Are you guys okay?"

"Just tired, but fortunately not blown up." Kai answered, smiling at her. How can he smile so casually like that despite just being so uncomfortable.

She smiled back and helped him up. I stood up too and asked, "Did you get the bombers?"

"Yes, the police took them away already." Zane answered, and I nodded to him.

"Well, then that's that." I responded, and we all started to walk to the way out.

But I couldn't help but stare at Kai as we're walking. There's no way I can just not worry about him now and despite this promise that I made I know he's going to regret trying to keep this a secret.
