The princess's friends try...

A-Ji stays...

The girl decides...

Her friends surprise her when...

Yo!

About this UA fanfiction. You must have realized that I hate groups that indiscriminately kill demons no matter if it's good or bad, having the aggravation of brutally torturing and enslaving.

But, this hate comes from another Asian drama. In this drama, groups similar to the demon masters from The Blue Whisper, but with another name that I don't remember right now, hunt a cat demon (I love cats and started to revolt when I saw the hunt). The worst thing is that they didn't care about the fact that this demon truly loved a human and this human loved her too. They ignored the plea to leave them alone. Just for being a demon she deserved death in the eyes of the bastards who hunted her.

At the end of the hunt, the human sacrifices himself to save his beloved from a blow and, devastated by the death of her beloved, she destroys her essence (something common among demons in Asian dramas), to die with her beloved and begs for him to be buried with him.

However, they throw it like garbage in a corner and just bury the human far away.

All this made me hate these groups. Monks still exercise some judgment, aside from the fact that one of the vows they follow is not to kill.

So even if it's a demon, don't kill indiscriminately. But those other groups with spiritual powers don't have votes like that, so they can do whatever they want.

Before I watched The Blue Whisper I already hated them. Demon masters just magnified it with the exception of a few who are decent. But it's like "finding a needle in a haystack".

I know I should separate feelings, but demon masters with powers not only to kill, but to torture and enslave demons regardless of whether they are good or bad is something that irritates me deeply because it is very unfair. So many humans who do terrible atrocities and nothing happens while these people with spiritual powers kill, torture and enslave demons, even those who are good or who are neutral is revolting.

It is this injustice that revolts me.

I just wanted to explain my view on them and that I will bring up justification for the characters' contempt and/or anger towards them as the story progresses.

Other information. As you may have seen it is a crossover of Asian dramas. The character Qing Hua, Lin Canglan's demon slave (yes, I changed his demon slave), is a character from the drama Eternal Love Dream (Three lives, three worlds The bedside book). I was revolted by what she did and it left a bitter taste of injustice because she suffered something, very lightly, just a few years later after all the cruelty she did to Aranya. Being tortured and then enslaved was in part to resolve this injustice considering how arrogant and proud she was. I still reserve some things for that bastard.

As for the nine-tailed black fox (Lin Canglan's original demon slave), Qing Shu, she has yet to appear in the story.

Another character that appeared that I forgot to mention was Li Cang. He is the adult version of the child Li Cang who appears in New Life Begins. In the original drama, he is the protagonist's younger brother.

In addition to the main couple of New Life Begins, Yin Zheng and Li Wei, we also have the characters Yuan Ying who is the sapphire dragon and Shangguan Jing who is the diamond tigress. I chose both and which demon they would be based on their personalities and mannerisms from the original drama.

In Blue Whisper there is only the Jade Phoenix. I wanted to recreate the quartet of Gods consisting of Phoenix, Dragon, Tiger and Turtle that represent the four regions. I thought it would be fun to put three females and one male, with him getting such a headache from their animated rants that he wanted the silence and tranquility of the ocean depths. It wasn't just about the drinks, although alcohol amplified the "liveliness" in their speeches.

As for the ruby turtle, Song Wu, is another character from the drama New Life Begins that I turned into a demon who appreciates silence and studies, as well as discipline. Song Wu, in the original drama, set up a bookstore and is a very focused and responsible person.

I also tried to base their magic and base elements on what I read from the legends and adapting it to the Blue Whisper universe because it is the basis of the story and adaptations are necessary. But, you knew that I will always seek to respect the origin. I will only change if it is strictly necessary and I tried to reduce the changes as much as possible. As for the change of race is inevitable.

However, I want to preserve their original personality as much as possible.

About the Jade phoenix, I found out that when the phoenix is young, it has this green color with some red tinged spots. Only when it becomes fully adult or much older (probably a few thousand years) does it turn red.

This shows that Qing Ji can still be considered a young phoenix by the standards of this legendary demon race.

Have a good read.

Chapter 21 - A-Ji's despair

"Why did you stop me from following them?"

"It's going to be brutal. I'm sure the merman will fight."

"Yes. Don't wish to see how they do it." Qu Xiaoxing pleads.

"Don't wonder what they do with the demons there. We're taking care of bureaucracy ourselves by taking advantage of our father ignoring us. The last time we dared watch, we had a bad time."

"And I'm lucky to have been sent as Haoqing's apprentice after making a grave mistake that angered the Valley Master, causing him to sentence me to bureaucratic jobs."

"The same for me." Luo Jinsang comments.

She feels her heart constrict and after sighing, deciding that it was all her fault, the princess manages to break free and runs to the place she saw them disappear with her friends following her and trying in vain to stop her.

When the young woman arrives in front of the door, the master of demons feels the prison being shaken by pure demon power despite the place being made of black stones that could contain the power of a demon according to what she studied in the books because she learned to use her spiritual powers by herself when she was self-taught and which were later improved by receiving later guidance and training from the brothers and their disciples.

The princess also moved away from the door when she felt a wind that was sharp and almost did not hurt her. Looking at the floor, she observes in shock a large amount of blood flowing under the door despite having already witnessed a scene of blood that dyed the entire land crimson, in addition to viscera and human limbs flying through the air and that came from countless people with the overwhelming majority of these deaths being caused by sheer stupidity.

She comes out of her reminiscences of that day and that it was inevitable due to the massive blood to hear lacerating screams of agony and fear as the massive black door was shaken again, as well as the prison as she felt the emanation of a powerful demonic power.

A-Ji could have sworn that she saw a limb flying and when she managed to look through a slit, the first thing she saw was the jiaoren's icy blue eyes that were like a frozen sea as it exuded a chilling aura. She feared in the face of this aura and had no doubt that it was the same with the others as she momentarily saw an attitude of calm and prestige, as well as the inherent nobility of him as the crown prince of the ocean.

At that moment, her watchful eyes were menacing, in addition to displaying an aura of murder and extreme indifference as if it were a blade of ice that pierced people's hearts.

Then, as she recovered from the sensations, the young woman felt her heart drop and tears well up in her eyes when she saw him raise his majestic and imposing tail again only for the movement to be stopped by a long golden arrow that shot from someone behind the door and that she couldn't see exactly where it came from while identifying the object that was conjured and what its function was.

Then, the tail is nailed to the wall behind the cage, with the young woman crying silently while watching a black iron chain that was controlled by a spell and which began to quickly coil around the tail, climbing like a vine, causing for the member to be completely immobile, with the girl feeling pain in her heart upon hearing Chang Yi's muffled moan.

Even though a cold sweat broke out on his forehead, his icy blue eyes filled with fury showed no weakness and the chains didn't stop him from fighting, causing the place where the arrow had pierced his tail to start bleeding as the area around him began to bleed around it was torn apart by attempts to move it, causing a lot of blood to flow in the process.

"What are you guys doing lying down?! Get up and form a formation!"

She recognizes the authoritative voice as that of Yin Song, realizing that he was the one who used the golden arrow technique, causing her to twist her fist in fury.

Then, A-Ji hears the sound of a mechanism being added and is horrified to see that two iron hooks shoot out of a wall, piercing the merman's collarbones and that was accompanied by occasional bolts of lightning from those black hooks as his painful groans were suppressed by Yin Song who began to chant sutras to increase the sealing, creating a golden light that made the black stones and the iron onyx radiate light together, causing the dungeon to become radiant, with Chang Yi not having the strength to resist, except shivering in pain.

The young woman is horrified to see all this and is shocked by the blood on the floor and what has splattered on the walls, in addition to the crimson liquid that oozed from the beautiful jiaoren's various wounds and from among the dry and curled scales of its tail.

While weeping silently, she watches lightning fall on him again, electrocuting him and causing new cuts in addition to aggravating the old ones while drawing more blood. Her tail scales were raised while some were torn off.

Faced with the cruel and equally grotesque spectacle of the demon masters' perversity, the princess is mute and cries in pure despair and agony while the brothers and their disciples turn their heads because they knew the methods and were too brutal, as well as evil at the same time in which Si Yu was shocked and equally terrified by the methodology used by demon masters.

Her lover had explained how taming was done. But listening was different from personally witnessing it with your own eyes.

After all, it was the first time for the metal demon to witness what they did to captured demons and she couldn't help but feel goosebumps at the sight.

"Why?" A-Ji asks in a thread of voice choked as a result of the tears that flowed profusely from her orbs and with each blow the merman suffered, a stinging wound opened in her heart as she felt helpless.

"It's the way they tame demons," Haoqing said sadly, "It's a common method used not only by Demonic Valley but also by the other two remaining demonic regions since the fourth demonic region that comprised Demonic Island was destroyed in the past and everyone in the place died before overwhelming power. The monsters are brutally and cruelly punished until their psychological defense line is broken. Then, the demons start to cooperate with the demon masters to do what they want and as long as If they cooperate once, the demon master will reward them. In the long run, they will habitually obey the demon master and cooperate with all his instructions."

The young woman fell to her knees as Qu Xiaoxing and Luo Jinsang patted her back in an attempt to comfort her. With much persuasion, the brothers and their respective disciples, as well as Si Yu, manage to drag her from the place and take her to a place full of flowers.

Then, Xiaoxing disappears for a few minutes, and then calmly appears with tea and six cups, taking care to place them on a small table in a nearby place. There were also a few chairs readily positioned.

After pouring tea, with Haoqing pouring some tea into A-ji's cup, she speaks as her face, reflected in the liquid in the cup, is wet with tears, "I need to save him. He saved mine life and cared for me, as well as protecting me. Furthermore, he showed me part of his kingdom. I owe it to jiaoren. He doesn't deserve to suffer humiliation, torture and pain because of the wishes of bastard Ru Ling."

The brothers and apprentices looked at each other, and then sighed.

"How do you intend to do that?" Ru Jun asks, "He will have guards watching the cell."

"Even if by a miracle you manage to get him out, how will you get him out of a place full of demon masters and demon slaves?" The oldest of them asks.

"Unfortunately, it's true. This valley is full of demon Masters and their slaves because it's only a minority among the inexperienced who don't have a demon as a slave." Xiaoxing spoke as she sighed.

"Yes. It's a practically impossible mission." Luo Jinsang comments with obvious concern on her face.

"They're right. I think it's impossible." The metal demon, Si Yu, comments.

Aji sighs, then speaks, "I'll manage. Even if I have to face horrible punishment. I don't care. To get what I want, I need to look at it as a game of weigi or xiangqi. If there's anything I feel pride is how great I am at these games because I'm a great strategist.

At that instant, she couldn't help but remember his shifu because in addition to martial arts and weapon fighting techniques, he also taught her how to play weigi and xiangqi."

When she asked him why he didn't choose one of them because it's common for people to choose just one, the kind man said he's never been able to make up his mind in his entire life.

So, A-Ji learned both and sought to surpass him to thank him, just like he did in martial arts and handling weapons because he once read that to thank him for everything his shifu taught him, you have to surpass him and she followed it to the letter.

Ru Jun's question brings her out of her reminiscences.

"I see... When will you have to return to the capital?"

"Whenever I wish. Kings don't care about me. Ru Ling doesn't care either, as long as he doesn't wish to use me for torture with the use of her crimson whip, which is a replica of the one used in the demonic regions against demons. The only requirement is that the wounds must not be in visible areas. In the end, it's best for me to stay away from the palace so I'm not humiliated and used as the bastard's torture toy."

The brothers and young apprentices knew what she was talking about. They had witnessed their treatment of the second princess several times. The neglect and punishments were most often unfair and cruel. Even if A-Ji was right, Shun De would always be the victim and if there was one thing the eldest learned, it was that she was the favorite. The younger sister was just a nuisance and she could do whatever she wanted as long as she didn't leave any visible marks.

The reason for so much contempt was because of the birth of the youngest.

When the queen gave birth to the second princess, she had serious complications during and after the birth. In the end, her life was saved, but the queen was unable to conceive.

To make matters worse, the king longed to have more children, especially a boy to pass on his title at the same time that the mother wanted to have more children and even though the emperor had concubines who conceived daughters and sons, he wanted children of the empress because it would be the official son.

After all, the emperor wanted to follow the tradition started by his grandfather.

Therefore, in their view, the little girl was guilty and her name means memory due to the loss of the empress's ability to have children.

Even since she was a baby she was despised and if she had survived until she was a little older it was thanks to her nanny and when the servant showed that she loved the girl, the kings expelled her from the palace. Everything the young woman could love or the people who loved her were taken from her. If she had been born a male, A-Ji would have been favored because the king wanted a boy in the first place.

The brothers were the only ones who remained because there was no way to take them away from her and the fact that both were despised by their parent, as it was with A-Ji, made the monarchs tolerate their presence.

And even though she had unofficial brothers and sisters because they were children of concubines, there was an insurmountable rule that official children could not have contact with unofficial brothers, even if their mother had the title of Imperial Concubine or Noble Lady. All servants and soldiers knew this and there were brutal penalties for young people regardless of age as well as for concubines if they broke this rule.

Therefore, as A-Ji did not want to be the cause of punishment for them, she never tried to get close to them, merely watching from a distance as their mothers inhabited other small palaces within the Dacheng imperial city complex.

"I'd like access to the Demon Valley's library. Maybe I can find some way to save you."

"Let's help her."

"For sure."

She looks at both of them, seeing the determination in their eyes and asks with visible concern why she knew that Lin Canglan was equal to her parents with the difference that the demonic Master hated both sons while the kings despised and even hated only A-ji while favoring and loving Ru Ling, "But... what about your father? He won't forgive you. He and kings can join hands. I know you suffer as I suffer."

"It will be revenge on our part. His losing the jiaoren will be a brutal blow. Furthermore, the tiazi (crown prince) of the oceans saved his life. Therefore, he is not a dangerous demon and therefore does not deserve what he is." happening to him."

"Yes. We think what's happening to him is unfair. Count on us to help you. In addition, you will also have to face the fury of your family and if, even knowing that, you still want to save him, count on our support. If you don't fear the consequences, neither will we." Ru Jun speaks with determination visible in his eyes.

The youngest of the brothers idolizes the eldest who has always sought to protect him from their father.

Of course, sometimes it was impossible, but still, he tried and succeeded most of the time. With six years of difference, the oldest protected the youngest and unlike the youngest, he got to witness a different father before the death of their mother after giving birth. Lin Canglan changed dramatically after his beloved wife's funeral. It was as if his heart had been buried with her, leaving only the pain that turned into hatred for his children.

In fact, the greatest hatred was directed towards the youngest son because he blamed him for the death of his beloved when she gave birth at the same time that he respected her wish by giving his son his last name while the eldest had his father's last name. Jun and Haoqing's mother was the king's cousin, but they never had a close relationship. The sovereign of that kingdom was indifferent to their mother's death because it was a distant branch of his family, which he had no interaction with in the past.

However, as Haoqing protected his brother, the hatred began to be mirrored to the eldest son who sought to be the center of his father's anger to spare the youngest from punishments, many of which were unfair at the same time that he managed the neglect with him. He was the eldest who practically raised the youngest since Ru Jun was a baby. A child taking care of another child. That was the situation of the brothers and among this sea of unhappiness, they met A-ji while wandering in the palace gardens when they decided to visit the place with their respective disciples while their father and the other two leaders of the three remaining demonic regions met with the grandmaster at the annual meeting in his sect which was an imposing building that stood in the middle of the most prosperous part of the city. They were both released from this boring engagement because Ying Song was accompanying their father.

When witnessing the cruel and unfair treatment towards her, with both finding out about her third suicide attempt, they began to feel empathy for experiencing an almost similar situation, and later, this empathy turned into a strong friendship at the same time in which the three considered themselves unlucky in the family lottery. In the case of the brothers, it would be more precisely in the father's lottery, while for his friend it was for both of them.

"We'll help too."

"Yes. Just say what we need to do."

She becomes emotional and displays tears of appreciation as she speaks in a voice filled with emotion, "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome."

"That's what friends are for."

"For sure."

"We will always help you."

"I'll help too." Si Yu speaks while blushing when looking at her beloved beside her.

"I accept, but on one condition." The princess speaks seriously.

"What condition?"
