Hey dearies! Kawaiigirl here! I just want to apologizefor the long update... I had some issues with for some reason... but now im back and I hope you chapter 3 of Hopper's Revenge!
The whole colony stood frozen in fear of hearing that familiar voice, it couldn't be him! It just can't! He was eaten by a bird years ago! How can he be back? Dot hugged Flik in fear, she was scaredest out of all the ants. "Flik I'm scared!" Dot cried. "We all are, Dot. It's gonna be ok, I won't let them hurt you, Atta, or anyone else!" Flik replied, comforting the young princess. Atta stayed close to Flik too, she didn't want those grasshoppers to hurt her, her sister, or Flik, including her colony. "Flik, what do we do?" Atta whispered to Flik, terrified. "I don't know! Just stay calm!" Flik whispered back. Just then, the grasshoppers bursted into the ant hill and started chasing the poor terrified ants around the Council Chamber! Flik, Atta and Dot huddled close to each other to not let the grasshopper hurt any of them. Just then, the last grasshopper jumped down and everyone froze in fear, the grasshopper turned around and faced the royal family and Flik, everyone gasped to see who it was!
"Hopper!" Flik said more terrified than he ever was before. Hopper then slowly approached the three ants, making them even more scared, "Well well well." He said, "If it isn't the ant who tried to kill me! And what is this I see? The princess became the Queen? How unfortunate! Why would anyone want a Queen like you?" "HEY DON'T TALK TO MY SISTER LIKE THAT YOU CURSED GHOST!" Dot shouted at Hopper. "Oof, if it isn't Thumper's little friend!" Hopper teased as he had his fingers ready to be snapped. Flik's eyes widened, he knew what Hopper was going to do! "HOPPER NO!" Flik shouted at him as he stood in front of The Queen and Princess. Hopper chuckled, and he snapped his fingers anyway! Thumper appeared in front of Flik and kicked him out of the way, Atta and Dot were terrified for Flik's life and rushed over to him but Thumper jumped in front of them to stop them! Atta and Dot tried to get around him, but Thumper would still jump in their way! Flik struggled to get up because he was kicked really hard, but he then spotted Thumper trying to attack Atta and Dot and that caused him to jump to his feet and rush to help The Royal Sisters, but Thumper felt his presence and turned around, causing Flik to stop.
Thumper was about to attack Flik, but Hopper snapped his fingers telling him to stop. Thumper jumped away and this gave Flik the chance to get to Atta and Dot, "Are you two ok?" Flik asked them. "We're fine, but are you ok? You were kicked pretty hard in the face!" Atta said to Flik as she held his hands.
"I'm fine, it doesn't hurt that bad!"
Atta and Dot then hugged Flik, happy that he was ok!
But then Hopper approached the three, "This colony has gotten weaker! And now that I'm back, you know what to do!" Hopper said to the colony while he was walking to the three, making the colony groan.
"Oh quite your whining! If you don't have the food collected by the rainy season, your Queen, Princess, and Hero are dead!"
Flik, Atta and Dot looked up at him with fear, "You heard me!" Hopper said and he suddenly grabbed Flik and started to choke him, "Collect the food and you, your girlfriend, and the little cowardly princess will live!" Atta was scared for Flik's life, so she stepped in, "Alright!" She shouted, "We'll collect the food! Just let Flik go!" Hopper turned to Atta with a small smirk on his face, "Now that's the queen I'm looking for!" He said as he released Flik while he gasped for air. Hopper walked beneath a whole and faced the colony, "You ants have a nice summer." He said and then faced his gang, "Let's Ride!" The grasshoppers got their wings ready and then flew off back to their hideout!
When the grasshoppers were gone, Atta went to check on Flik to see if he was okay after he was being choked by Hopper (again). "Flik, are you ok?" Atta asked in a worried tone. "I'm alright!" Flik said in a weak voice. Atta had a feeling the Flik was not fine.
"Flik we gotta get you the hospital, you were beaten a lot today!"
"Atta, I'm fine!"
"I want you to be there, you don't look too good!"
Flik didn't wanna go, but he was taken there anyway while the colony got back to collecting food for the grasshoppers again.
Many hours have passed since the grasshoppers' return, the colony was exhausted, they haven't collected so much food for the grasshoppers in a long time. Atta was really worried about Flik, she knew how bad Hopper choked him and how hard he was kicked; this has not been a good day for poor Flik.
The colony then decided it was time to go, but they heard a familiar buzzing sound; a sound they had not heard in years! Dot pulled out the telescope Flik have her and saw the Circus bugs coming their way! "It's the circus bugs!" Dot cheered, "They're back! They're back! They're back!" The colony started to cheer that their friends were back, the circus bugs heard them cheering and waved to the colony as they landed! The blueberry scout ran with joy to see Francis again, "MISS FRANCIS!" They cheered! "Hey girls! Mommy's back!" Francis replied with excitement, The scout then hugged Francis and started to cry.
"We missed you!"
"I missed you too girls!"
PT then jumped off the wagon as Queen Atta approached, "Hello you're Majesty! Long time no see!" PT greeted. "Yeah it's been a while!" Atta replied, "Boy did we miss you!" "Hey uhh, where's Flik?" Francis asked as he was still surrounded by The Blueberries. Atta froze, "Well... He's in the hospital..." Atta said in a nervous and worried tone (with a bit of embarrassment). The circus bugs froze, "Oh my goodness!" Rosie said shocked, "I-Is he Ok?"
"He's fine, but we got some bad news.."
"What's the bad news?" Slim asked. "Is Flik sick?" Heimlich asked. "What? No! The bad news is way worse than Flik being sick!" Atta told the caterpillar, "The bad news is-" "Is Flik dying?" Heimlich asked again. "NO!" Atta shouted, annoyed, "THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FLIK!" "Does it have anything to do with his sickness?" Hemlich asked again. Atta just about had it, "For the last time! HE'S... NOT... SIIIICK!" "Then who is?" Heilmlich still asked. Atta just made an annoyed face, "No one is sick you idiot! Hopper is back!" Atta finally told them. The circus bugs froze again in shock and fear. "But... How is that possible?" Gypsy asked, "I mean, wasn't he eaten by the bird?"
"We thought that too, but I guess he wasn't! And he is the reason why we are exhausted and why Flik is in the hospital!"
"Flik injured by Hopper?!" Dim asked with panic in his voice. "I'm afraid he is, but he says he's fine." Atta replies to Dim.
"Dim want to see Flik!"
"Well who said you can't see him?"
Atta and Dot led the circus bugs into the anthill and to the hospital where Flik is recovering, "Ok guys easy now, Flik could be asleep-" "YOU'RE FIRED! Tuck and Roll yelled as they burst into the hospital causing Flik to scream; he in fact, was asleep. Flik then became confused to see Tuck and Roll, and then the circus bugs walked in. "Flik we're so sorry to wake you, but the circus bugs are here.." Atta told her boyfriend. Flik was really shocked, but happy to see them, "Hey guys! Long time no see!" Flik greeted, still sounding a bit weak, "But maybe next time you should keep those loud gibberish pill bugs under control, they almost gave me a heart attack." "We're really sorry about that, they still don't understand us." Rosie told him, "But we heard the news that Hopper is back and that he caused to be in this mess."
"But I'm fine, really. I don't even know why I have to be here!"
"You were nearly killed by Hopper again today!" Atta reminded him. "I know you're majesty, but I'm fine!" Flik still tried to convince Atta.
"I want to keep you safe from death!"
"Atta, remember what Hopper said? You, me, and Dot will be killed if we don't have the grasshopper's food by the rainy season. And-"
"Woah, woah, Flik! Did you say, 'Queen Atta, you, and Princess Dot will be killed if you don't have the grasshopper's food by the rainy season?'" Manny asked. 'Uhh... Yes?" Flik replied. The circus bugs started to panic, "Flik, sometimes you should just not say everything that happened." Atta told Flik, annoyed. Flik just rolled his eyes.
The circus bugs were still freaking out, they couldn't let Hopper kill their friends, they just couldn't! They had to do something to protect them from Hopper killing them, but what will they do?
I think I made this chapter a bit dark... also sorry if it's kind of short... I ran out of ideas and I got this done in one day... Any ideas for chapter 4 where the Circus bugs try to think of a way from Hopper killing Flik, Queen Atta, and Princess Dot?
